After the expected verbal tango with Nate as to where she disappeared to, Sophie finds herself sitting with Eliot. In a low voice, Eliot turns towards her so that she is the only one who can hear him. "Neither of you are a Charlotte." Sophie is surprised that Eliot knew where she was and who she was with since she actually took precautions.

"I always know when my Duchess is in town." Eliot gives Sophie a wink and a toast of his beer bottle in recognition that Sophie is aware of his relationship with Grace.

Sophie can't help but smile at their shared secret. "So you know who she is?" Eliot moves in closer. "Lady Prentiss and I have a history as you already know. I didn't know that her brother was your William. I am sorry." Eliot looks up to gauge Sophie's response. Sophie's expression softens. "Thank you for keeping still about that."

"Don't you always say that we all have a past." Eliot gives her a soft smile. They all have a complicated pasts and it would seem that his and Sophie's have crossed. It is a very small world after all. "So how did you get involved with our Grace."

Eliot gives Sophie a side long look with a whimsical smile crossing his features that Sophie finds endearing. "Why are you asking me a question that you already know the answer to?" Eliot offers the obvious answer. Sophie laughs. "Damien Moreau" Sophie's statement in the form of a question makes Eliot smile. "Something like that." Eliot looks off into the blank spaces as memories awaken of his first encounter with his wayward Duchess.

Flashback for Eliot:

Eliot sits at the café flipping through the dossier on Lady Charlotte Prentiss. Eliot knows this job and this mark as he memorizes the face in the photos as he reads through the pages within the file for the details. Damien as asked him to do many things but kidnap a British Royal is something new on the agenda.

Eliot spends the day observing Lady Charlotte as she takes in the essence of Paris. Eliot watches her walk among the galleries at the Louvre. For the effort and care with which Lady Charlotte studies the paintings and sculpture, she must truly love art. What intrigues Eliot is that Lady Charlotte does not just look at the paintings, she experiences them. Eliot watches the joy of the experience through observance of Lady Charlotte's eyes and changing expression as she strolls through the galleries. She does not head to the popular paintings. Lady Charlotte seems to avoid the tourists indulging in the less crowded spaces. Eliot listens to her voice as she speaks in perfect French to several patrons at the exhibits with a warm and soft tone that allows the words to drip from her lips in almost lyrical rhythm . The Lady Charlotte definitely has the refinement of royalty. Her mannerisms and moves are elegant and very refined. Lady Charlotte is not the most beautiful woman that Eliot has ever laid eyes on but there is something about her, perhaps it is the way she carries herself. Lady Charlotte has noticed him but does not seem to be alarmed by his presence which is a good sign since he has job to do.

Eliot follows his mark from the museum as she walks through plazas to the street. Eliot follows as she walks along the Seine. The crowds have dwindled as Eliot plans to make his move. Eliot did not expect her to turn and acknowledge him. Eliot did not expect for her to fight back. Lady Charlotte manages to land several hard blows before Eliot overpowers her. He duct tapes her mouth and binds her with zip ties as he puts her in the trunk of the car. The ride is short enough and Eliot cannot have her wake up unexpectedly. He needs her in a predicable state.

Eliot drives her to the safe house that he had planned on the route back to Damien's. Eliot's assumption is that Damien wants the royal for leverage for one thing or another. Darkness has fallen by the time that Eliot pulls into the safe house. As he opens the trunk, he is stunned by Lady Charlotte landing several well placed kicks. Eliot struggles to control her again. This time he reaches into his pocket and pulls out the syringe. Lady Charlotte falls unconscious into his arms as Eliot breaks her fall. Eliot flips Lady Charlotte onto his shoulder as he walks into the house. Eliot kind of admires her spirit.

Eliot lays Lady Charlotte down on the couch before turning on a couple of lights within the room. He takes a few moments to secure his prize but to also make sure that she is comfortable. After tending to his charge, Eliot realizes that he is quite hungry. He has bound Lady Charlotte sufficiently and she should sleep the drugs off for quite a while so Eliot plans to make a proper meal as he heads into the kitchen.

Eliot kneels down beside Lady Charlotte's head to rouse her, he touches her face as her eyes flutter open. "If you promise not scream, I will remove this." Lady Charlotte vision clears enough for her to see Eliot before her. She nods as Eliot offers some water knowing that the drugs have likely left this wandering royal parched. Damien wanted her alive so alive she shall remain. Eliot assists his charge to the kitchen table as he offers Lady Charlotte something to eat.

After settling into the seat, Lady Charlotte begins to speak as she sips from her glass as if they are on some kind of twisted date. "So tell me who you are?" Her voice is soft and low with a subtle accent. "No one of consequence." Eliot's answer is a line he once heard in a movie. "Damien apparently lacks comprehension of the word no." Lady Charlotte offers with a glance down at the plate Eliot has set before her Eliot's attention is snapped out of his memories and into the present by Parker and Hardison as the Italian pays a visit.
