7 months later

Jasper's POV

My brother is bringing home Bella today. To say I'm looking forward to today is inaccurate. I see her everyday and she annoys me slightly. But it probably has to do with her emotions. Her emotions drive me crazy. They go from fear to happiness to love. She and my brother really are perfect for each other. Their feelings are so alike I creeps me out. Yet I can't wait for everyone else to meet her. I'm excited to see how everyone reacts to her. Bella is an okay girl but I really don't know her and I probably never will.

I'm in my room. Alice is getting ready. She has been getting ready for the past 2 hours. Then she is going to bring in my clothes. In the beginning, this action was sweet but now it makes me feel helpless. Like I can't take care of myself.

My phone vibrates and I see it's a text from Leah. I smile. For the past 7 months I have been talking to her and Alex. They are really great girls. I can be myself around Leah. With Alex I can tell her about the vampire and werewolf things bothering me. Leah and I have met up a few times, out of Forks. We have gone to the movies and shopping. She has become a close friend. I don't see Alex often. I mostly get letters from her and texts from her. She will call me once in a while.

I respond to Leah. Can't. Ed is bringing Bella home today. :/

Poor You xP

I laugh quietly to myself. Leah can't stand Bella. Mostly because, Jacob has stopped talking to Leah. I respond again and head downstairs. Alice meets me by the stairs and grabs onto my arms. I smile I love Alice but not in a romantic way. Alice once mentioned to me that she felt the same way. We agreed that when we met our true loves we would leave but remain good friends.

Bella introduces herself and I want to shake her hand but I notice Edward's glare so I gave her a nod instead. I excused myself and walk out of the house. I texted Leah.

Change of plans? Meet me at Wolfsbane?

Sure. See you in 10.

I smile and tell Alice where I'm going. She smiles and practically shoves me out the door. I get into my car and drive to Wolfsbane. When I get there I see that Leah's bike is there. I walk in and I see Leah sitting at a booth. I slide in across from her and smile. She looks beautiful as always.

"Ms. Clearwater."

"General."

Leah pushes a glass to me and I drink. She ordered some sprite for both of us. I look at Leah. She is wearing a t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. Her hair is pulled into a fish braid. The only make up she has is mascara and lip gloss. Her eyes are sparkling and she has a small smile.

I lean in.

"So Ms. Clearwater. How is everything? Is Jake still blowing you off?"

" Everything is fine. Sam is still being a jerk. Emily comes over to talk and my mom and I talked a little. Yeah. Jake keeps blowing me off. We were supposed to go out and see a movie and he showed up two hours later. We missed the movie."

Leah rolls her eyes and tries to blow her bangs out of her face. I chuckle and brush them away. Mu fingertips brushing against her cheek softly. She shivered slightly.

She feels confused. Her heart is beating fast. Leah reaches for her drink and takes a sip. Her heart slows down.

We talk about our families, recent movies, and books we have read. We make plans to go see a movie next month.

We talk about Bella, Jake, and Alex.

We are having such a good time. I don't even realize that it's getting late. My phone vibrates and I see a text from Alice.

Storm tonight. Baseball?

I smile I love baseball in the rain.

"Leah. That was my sister. It's going to rain. So I need to head home. Esme doesn't want us in the streets during a storm. She gets paranoid."

The lie flows so easily from my lips and I feel guilty.

Leah nods. She believes me. She grabs her purse and I hold out my hand and help her out of the booth. I see a guy checking her out so I wrap my arm around her waist. She turns to look at me and raises an eyebrow. I lean down and whispered. "Someone is checking you out."

She sends me a quick smile and leans into me.

I walk her out to her motorcycle. As usual I give her a quick hug. I get into my truck and follow her home. It's become tradition that I do this. She waves to me before she crossed the line and I beep my horn at her.

I drive home and Alice is waiting for me with a huge smile on her face.

"Baseball!" I smile and go to my room to change. We go find the rest of the team and they all agree. Edward of course wants to bring Bella. Alice agrees and it's settled. Bella and Edward head to Bella's to get fresh clothes for her.

Two hours later we are at the field. I tilt my head up and Alice smiles. She takes my hand and we run. Thunder roars above and I smile.

Let's play ball!

The game was fast paced. Of course it was, we were vampires after all. We all showed off our skills. I could sense Bella's amazement at our speed. To a human we appeared to be a blur of speed.

I'm breathing hard. I love the rain. Suddenly I freeze; I can sense Alice's panic. In a second I'm by her side.

She's scared. Edward is tense and he has his arms around Bella.

Alice is shaking so I wrap my arms around her. She looks up her eyes resting on Bella.

She tells us what she sees and Carlisle tells us to go back and play. The game is much subdued. We stay close to the clearing. A sudden flash of red hair causes all to look up. My lips curl up into a sneer. We all rush toward Carlisle and position ourselves around Bella. All is going good until the wind blows Bella's scent.

I can sense Victoria's curiosity and James' lust. Suddenly I realize that Bella is good as dead. He won't stop. James reminds me of a soldier I knew. They both had to get what they wanted no matter the cause.

Edward grabs Bella and they take off. Rosalie and Emmett follow. Alice and I leave afterwards. Alice runs to our rooms and gets clothes.

Alice is on the phone talking to Edward. I grab some money and ids. We will need them.

Edward enters with Bella. Her face is streaked with tears. I can sense sadness and fear.

We head to the garage. They tell me that I'm taking Alice and Bella to Phoenix, Arizona.

Rosaline starts being a bitch so I try to calm her down. It works and then we are off. I'm really worried that something will happen.

I drive all night and day. We arrive in Phoenix the next day. I check us in and we all go to our room. I'm worried. My family might be in danger. Leah may be in danger. Leah. Suddenly, I have the urge to call her, to make sure everything is okay.

I ignore the urge and we wait for the call. Bella falls asleep after I calm her down. Alice and I are just sitting on the couch.

Alice suddenly gets up and pulls out a laptop.

"Talk to her."

She leaves the room to where Bella is. I get on the computer.

Leah isn't online but Alex is.

A minute later. Alex's smiling face appears. She hasn't changed much just the color streaks- orange and her eyes which are green.

The smile slides off her face.

"Jasper? What's wrong?"

The concern overwhelms me and I break down and tell her everything. I can see her finger flying over the keyboard as she tries to get in touch with the closest Alpha to Phoenix and Washington.

"Alec and Marc will take care of it. One will go to Forks to help out if needed. They are letting the Arizonian pack know that you are there, so they won't kill you."

I nod. I feel as if a huge weight had been lifted.

"Don't worry. Alec and Marc will make sure everyone stays safe."

" Did you ever find anything else out?"

Alex sighs. "Do you have time to talk?"

"Bella is asleep and Alice is with her. So yes."

"The blood matches. He's my cousin. I can't tell him anything yet. The huge Alpha meeting is going to happen soon. It's taking place in California so I might drop in to see everyone."

"Esme will love to cook for you and you pack."

"Only a few of us will be going. So make dinner for about twenty of us."

I laugh. "What about your guys imprints?"

Her smile hardens. "The situation is complicated. Some of the elders discovered an interesting possibility for the real true Alphas. If it's true it would make a lot of sense."

"Have you talked to him?"

Alex's eyes flash and harden. She sounds completely uncaring.

"No. He means nothing to me."

She could have fooled anyone else but not me.

"Liar. You love him."

She is getting defensive. "I was in lust with him! We were just two teens who had a relationship with no strings attached. He went to college and I stayed in school. That's all. I don't care about him."

"Honey. He gave you his dog tag. You're the only girl who lasted more than 4 months. You were together for 7 months. If you don't love him then why was it that every time he was in town, you two got together? For two people who supposedly hate each other and only dated to get parents off your guys back, there is a lot of history. Admit it. You, Alexandria Faye Blackwater 'Gypsy' are in love with 'Knight'."

Alex growls at me. "Damm! Remind me why I told you about him?"

I laugh. "Cause you love me and no one else would understand your guys' history."

Alex laughs and then her eyes widen. She's up in a flash and she stripping out of her clothes. I turn away. I can hear her mumbling.

"Sorry Jasper. I'm running late for work! Talk more later. Text me! Call Leah!" She's off in a few seconds. My last glimpse of her is of her in a short skirt and trying to button her top.

I shake my head. It's a wonder how Alex is such a good Alpha. She is always busy.

I pick my phone and hesitate. It's about midnight in Forks. I don't want to wake her up. But I want to hear her voice. So I dial.

Her velvety voice picks up.

"General?"

I smile. "Ms. Clearwater."

"Is everything okay? it's pretty late."

"No it's just that I'm on a little road trip. A family emergency. I just wanted to hear your voice."

I feel embarrassed.

Leah laughs.

" Well, it's nice to hear your voice to. I hope everything is okay with your family."

"It is. I should be back home in a week or so."

"That's' good."

"Don't miss me too much"

Leah snorts. "I won't. It seems you're missing me though."

I pause. "I am -missing you."

Leah pauses. "Jasper, I have a new quote for you."

She tells me it and we exchange some quotes. I'm lying on the couch.

We talk some more. It's a wonder we don't run out of things to discuss.

Leah yawns and I check the time. It's four in the morning!

"General, I'm tired."

"I know. Ms. Clearwater."

I begin to hum. Leah murmurs.

"Sing?"

"Not tonight."

I stay on the phone until her breathing in stable. I don't hang up though. I place my phone on the table so I can hear her.

Alice comes in a few minutes later. She sits next to me and I wrap an arm around her shoulders, she leans in.

"You're all calmed down. That Alex girl seems nice. She's a werewolf?"

"Yeah, Alex is. She an Alpha actually. You would like her."

"Leah. She's special to you."

Alice is looking at me.

"She's just a friend. I care about her."

Alice tilts her studying me but drops the subject.

The only sound is the sound of Leah's breathing from my phone.

We sit in silence until we hear Bella moving around. Alice leaves the room and I end my call to Leah.

For some reason what Alice said was bugging me.

I shake my head. I have to focus.

The day is uneventful. Days pass and we fall into a pattern. Bella cries herself to sleep. I talk to Alex every night. Alice joins me. The two girls get along well. Then Alice leaves and I call Leah. We talk until she falls asleep.

Our peace and waiting hours are shattered when we get phone calls.

I'm standing by the window. Suddenly, I hear Bella gasp. I turn around and see Alice going into vision mode. I grab paper and talk to her.

She draws a room with windows. She talks about what the man- James is doing. Bella is growing paler and paler.

I go to the other room and start packing our stuff. I have a feeling we won't be staying long.

We call the others and Bella and Edward talk for a minute. It's amazing watching the change. Her emotions change completely. She's happy but still scared.

Alice and I head to check out. We drive to the airport. Bella is nervous. We get there and half an hour later, Bella announces she needs to go to the restroom. I get up and follow her. I wait patiently outside the restroom. Minutes past and I panic. I stop a young girl and ask her if she can check to see if my sister in there. The girl comes out saying that my 'sister' may have gone out the other door. I thank her and run to Alice. I tell her and we rush to get Edward. He arrives maybe only ten minutes later. Alice hands him the letter. Edward reads it and his face becomes harsh. I feel as if I'm dying and I realize that is Edward's feelings. I just realize how strong his feelings for Bella are.

We rush to find her.

We get to the ballet studio. We run in and I pale as I see Bella. Blood.

Blood. Bella. Bella is family. I keep telling myself. But it's hard. So I focus on killing James. I feel a sense of peace when I kill James.

The next few hours- days are commotion. We make up a story and make up the scene of the crime. Bella is in the hospital and Edward is with her.

When we get to Forks everyone is talking about Bella. I long for the hype to die down. Everyone is talking about my family.

I'm at home when I hear the doorbell ring. Everyone rushes down. Wolf it smells like wolf.

I open the door and they come in.

They are as different as night and day. One is blond and the other is a brunette. They are both muscular and have a sense of power around them. They are here. Alpha Alec and Alpha Marc.

Carlisle the peacemaker smiles.

"Alphas."

"Sir."

The blond one turns to me. "Jasper I'm guessing."

I nod and shake his head.

"Alec Romania and my brother Marc Romania. We are the Alphas of the Californian pack."

My sister Rosaline snarls at them. "Then what the hell are you doing here?"

Marc smirks and crossed his arms. "We are the Alphas of the surrounding packs. You can say we are the main Alphas. The nearby pack is quite small. Only one wolf maybe two now. We are in charge of the surrounding state packs which include- Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Oregon, Washington- to name a few."

I can sense Rosaline's anger. Emmett gives Marc a glare and he hold up a hand.

"Sorry, it's just your girl reminds me of Alex when I first met her." Marc shakes his head grinning. Alec laughs. Esme asks them if they were hungry.

Alec laughs. "Ma'am. We are werewolves. Alphas to be exact. We are always hungry."

Everyone laughs and the tension disappears.

We all sit down and talk about the last few weeks. They tell us that they were able to cover up. Talking with the two Alphas is a lot of fun. Everyone likes them.

"Is it an Alpha thing? Having everyone like you?"

"What?"

"Sorry. I met Alex and the minute I met her I liked her. She has a way at putting people at ease."

The two Alphas laugh. "Alex, she's a force to be reckoned with. No it's not an Alpha thing. It's an Alex thing. It just rubbed off on us cause we spend so much time with her."

Alice speaks up. "Tell me about Alex."

"We would love to, but words won't do her justice. She and her pack are one of the most important packs in the world. You have to meet Alex, to understand what makes her so different."

Alec focuses on me. "Alex talks about you and Leah a lot."

I nod. "Did Alex tell you about Knight?"

I nod again.

Their eyes widen.

"Alex really trusts you then. She doesn't tell everyone about him. How's Leah?"

"You know Leah?"

"No, but Alex has talked about her so much we feel as if we do."

The Alphas and my family talk some more. Alec's phone rings and he answers it. A smile flies across his face. His emotions begin to overwhelm me. Happiness, love, sadness, anger, lust, understanding, worry.

Marc rolls his eyes.

"It's his mate. They got into an argument a few days ago."

Alec hangs up and hits Marc on the back of his head.

"We need to head home."

Esme invites them and their pack to dinner. Alec and Marc agree and tell us we are welcome to come and visit.

They leave and my family smiles.

Rosaline breaks the silence. "They were okay, for a bunch of mutts."

I look at the time. I catch Alice's eye and she nods. I'm out the door. I text Leah and ask her to meet me at the borderline.

I wait 50 feet away from the line. I see Jacob's father Billy, Leah's father Harry, Sam, some of the elders, and a tall man looking at me. We stare at each other. My reunion with Leah won't be private but at the moment I don't care. I smile as I catch sight of Leah and Jake. Leah sees me and comes running. I hear Sam telling Leah not to cross but Leah of course doesn't listen.

She flies in my arms and I swing her around. I bury my head into her hair and breathe in her scent. I didn't realize how much I missed her. How much I was worried. I tell her I miss her and she whispers that she misses me to.

I know that she will want to know where I went, and about Bella. For now though, I'm happy to be holding Leah. I look past her shoulder and I see the small group minus Jake giving me dirty looks. My grip tightens as I realize that one day I might never be able to do this.

I put her down gently and brush her hair out of her face. She looks at me with her huge brown eyes and it hits me that she has become very important to me.

" Thank you. Ms. Clearwater for everything."

Leah nods.

"I love you" Leah's eyes widen and I kiss her forehead.

Leah kisses my cheek. She looks behind her.

"You better go. Before they bring out their shot guns. Don't worry Jake won't let them hurt me."

I nod and walk away. Then I run back home.

+++++++LEAHS POV+++++++++

I smile slightly at Jasper's confession. There is so many things I want to ask him but I knew it could wait.

I love Jasper. He's a good friend. I walk back across the line and I grab Jake's hand. We walk back to his garage but Sam grabs me.

"Leah!" I jerk away.

"Don't touch me *******!" Sam is furious and the elders are frowning.

"He's my friend. You can't and won't dictate my life." I stomp away dragging Jake with me. I can hear Paul telling him to leave me be.

We head to the garage and I head to the swing outside the house. I pull out my pack of cigarettes and take a huff. Jake sits next to me and says nothing. We sit in silence and I put out my light later. Jake wraps an arm around me.

I close my eyes knowing that Jake is there protecting me.

"I love you Jake."

I fall sleep knowing that I love both Jasper and Jake.

Sorry for the long wait. School has been crazy. In fact I'm supposed to be doing a paper but instead I decided to finish this for you. Tell me what you think. I know it's fast paced but I need it to be so I can get to where I need this story to be. The next two or three chapters will be like this.

The next chapter will be of the Alpha meeting and them going to the Cullen' for dinner.

I'm going to update Chaos soon. Maybe by this weekend or the next. Be patient, because I'm sick and very busy.

Also many of you don't know but my 10 things I hate about you story was deleted. So I might redo this story on another site.
