I still don't own anything but the way I've put the words together. Author's note at the bottom.

Brittany was confused. Most definitely confused. Not so much about what was happening, more the why. She thought that maybe tonight she could finally get some answers from Santana. It was the first time they'd been even close to alone since before the winter break and she knew without a doubt that the Latina was avoiding her. She really should have known better.

The confession, as she had come to view Rachel's outing, had gone better then expected. It's not that she thought there would be a huge blow up, but that there was no yelling or any real anger was unexpected.

Rachel had made sure to cover almost everything. The only thing she'd left out was Brittany's involvement and her own little charade. It made the tall dancer happy to think that maybe now all of her friends could be friends with each other. She knew that Quinn wouldn't be against the idea of spending more time with Rachel and now they could finally have their friends from Columbus come visit them for a change. The problem would be with Santana, especially with her recent actions.

She knew the Latina was scared and that was why she had been acting out, but it's not like Brittany was asking her for come out, just not sleep with so many guys and admit that she liked her as more than a friend. No commitment, just acknowledgment. That the other Cheerio would leave their meeting just to prove a point instead of getting more answers from Rachel and snooping through her house? It was worse then she thought.

She was pulled from her inner musings by Rachel putting her hand on her leg. She threw a small smile to her to let her know that she would be okay for now, but she knew that they would most likely be having a long conversation later that night.

The tall Cheerio watched as her little friend asked Quinn if she wanted to stay for a while longer. Britt knew that there was very little that would cause Quinn to say no to that offer. Quinn wanted to be around Rachel as much as Brittany wanted to be around Santana; especially now that she had a chance to actually be friends with her. Rachel giving up her charade and making such a huge splash offered an opportunity to get off the lowest tiers at McKinley.

Her fellow blonde looked frozen when Rachel beamed at her positive response. It made Brittany laugh, she knew exactly the kind of reaction Rachel could cause with that smile especially on someone as unsuspecting and smitten as Quinn.

She was sure that by the end of the night her two friends would have made huge progress in their relationship with one another. If Quinn had liked Rachel in her excess of crazy she couldn't wait to see what she thought about her now.

Sorry about the long wait for all my followers! This is my first lengthy fic and I've been trying to figure out where I want to take the story and getting over some major writer's block.

Word of warning-I will probably be taking some of the Glee episodes out of order and you will definitely be seeing songs that have come out since these episodes.

Hope you enjoyed. I plan to have another chapter out soon.
