"You will see. Marcus grab him." Douglas ordered. Marcus laughed as he carelessly picked up Leo and flashed out of the room.
"Bring Him BACK!" Adam growled. All three bionic siblings stood ready to avenge their fallen brother. "HE DID NOTHING TO YOU!"
"Oh you are so wrong." Douglas stated. He pulled a contraption out of his pocket. It looked like a panic button. He pushed it down, which caused a shock wave of energy to blast the siblings backwards into pure darkness.
Chapter 6
No POV
The sound of buzzing roused the waking teens, who had been placed in an electrically charged cage that would cause serious damage to anyone who dared to touch the edges. Both Tasha, whose eyes were red from crying, and Davenport, whose anger was evident, sat chained to a pillar near the cage. Relief covered their face as they saw Bree, Adam, and Chase stir.
"What happened?"Bree asked as she managed to stand up, with the help of Bree and Chase.
"Douglas shut you system down long enough to move you to his lair." Davenport stated.
"Well, I can get us out," Adam said as he reached for the bars. Before anyone could stop him a volt of electricity shot though him.
"What was that!" Bree panicked as she helped Adam.
"They are lasers made to block your bionics, while also shocking anyone who touches them." Davenport explained. "Your bionics won't work in there."
"How do we escape?" Chase asked. "I don't have my bionic smarts in here."
"I'm thinking…"
"What about Leo?" Adam asked.
"We haven't seen him since we got here." Tasha began to cry again.
"Oh boo hoo…." Douglas laughed as he waltzed into the room. "So how are we today?"
"Screw you." Bree snapped.
"Oh, such a feisty princess."
"Where is Leo!" Tasha demanded. Douglas didn't answer, but simply smiled. The sounds of wheeling came into the room. Marcus pushed a gurney with an unconscious Leo into the room.
"LEO!" Bree screamed at the sight of her brother.
"And now comes the fun part." Marcus said enthused.
"What do you mean?" Chase asked
"He means this," Douglas answered as he held up a remote control.
"What is that?" Davenport growled.
"This," Douglas said almost prancing with every motion he made. "This is a remote that will control all of the bionics. When I press the power button, it will connect with the chip and the Titan app that I implanted which allows me complete control." There were panicked looks on everyone's face as he pressed the on button. A silence fell over the room in anticipation…
"HA!" Davenport laughed. "I disabled the Titan app when they were little!" However, the look on Douglas's face remained as smug as ever.
"I never said it would connect to their chips…" Right as he finished his sentence Leo sat up from the table.
"LEO!" Adam shouted happily; however the joy wouldn't last.
"Come here Leo." Douglas commanded. Leo stood up from the bed, and mechanically walked over to Douglas. His eyes were glowing blue.
"What have you done to my baby!"Tasha screamed.
"Leo is my greatest creation."
