Scarlette paced and paced it seemed like no matter how many times she tried to wrap her head around it she couldn't handle the thought of that sicko with her daughter. It was the only explanation. She just felt so helpless she couldn't imagine where he'd take her all his properties were sold. His family has no land. He doesn't fit the profile of someone who would go back the the place where he got caught last time. She started to pace faster the more her thoughts circled back on each other. There wasn't a single fibre of her being that wasn't calling out for was just too much. All of sudden she blanked out.

Spencer could see the perceptible change in Scarlette. She went from nervous and depressed to calm instantly and it worried him. "Scarlette?" He turned toward her. "Scarlette?" She didn't seem to hear him. She walked over to the door opened it up and walked out. Scarlette had literally gone out of her mind.

The entire team looked at Spencer with looks that said

Spencer walked over to Aaron. "We have a problem."

"Of course, we do. We have a little girl thats missing and her mom just walked out the door." Aaron was exasperated, Spencer could tell, but it was about to get worse.

"Scarlette just had a psychotic break. She could not take the thought of Leah being with that creep and to wall off any more pain her personality just shut down." Spencer said.

"What do you mean 'shut down'?" Derek asked.

"I mean the Scarlette we know and love is gone-hopefully temporarily-replaced by someone who doesn't know Leah and doesn't care if we get her back. Hell she may not even recognize herself or how to take care of herself. We have no idea what she is now and she is walking the streets alone." Spencer said, worry clearly written on his face.

"Why didn't you stop her?" Garcia asked.

"Garcia she doesn't recognize her own daughter, there isn't an ice cube's chance in hell she would listen to him." Derek looked at her and pulled her close.

"We need to get the police on the lookout for her." Emily said. "Her altered identity won't get in the car with us but maybe she'll trust a uniformed cop."

"Tell them to bring her to the BAU. We cannot have her waiting in some holding cell in lockup." Spencer said.

"We also need to find a safe place for Henry, Jack, and Jacob. I think we all realize that none of us will be going home anytime soon but the kids need to get to bed." Garcia said

"I can ask Will to watch them." JJ said before pulling out her phone and doing just that. Spencer just paced.

Derek watched Reid pace. Derek knew that Reid was not going to be any help until he knew that Scarlette and Leah were safe. Within a couple of hours Scarlette was home with Spencer and he was interviewing her new persona.

"Who are you?" Spencer

She just sat there.

"What is your name?"

She looked up at him like he was speaking a foreign language.

"Can you tell me what your name is?"

She continued to look.

"Do you know Scarlette Lacey?" He asked

She seemed to recognize the name but nothing else. This was new even for him. Usually a psychotic break didn't just shut someone down. Though people will always react differently to trauma and a lifetime of struggle will mess with anyone's head.

Hotch looked at him expectantly and Spencer shook his head. " She doesn't even recognize the English language. Or at least doesn't recognize me well enough to talk. There is no way she remembers Leah." At that moment Derek walked into the room.

"Zachary Cole was found dead this afternoon. No sign Leah was even there."

"Did you check property holdings he may have had from before?"

"Yeah but we couldn't find her anywhere. Are we sure he's the unsub?"

"He was the only one with motive." Spencer inserted.

"Unless he was going after Leah and not Scarlette." Hotch said.

"There is no way this is just some sicko. Its too big of a coincidence." Derek said

Then it hit him. "Unless it was Leah's father."

"Are you saying what I think you are saying?" Hotch said.

"We have to find Leah's no name father." Spencer said. "The first place to start is Leah's birth certificate."

Derek looked at Garcia as she typed away on her computer. He could tell this was really starting to get to her. She has three friends in this world and one of them has gone off the deep end. Derek called up Hotch. "I want a therapist in here immediately. When Leah comes home Lettie is going to need to be in her right mind and hoping she snaps out of it when she sees Leah is delusional we all know thats not how that works." Garcia turned around to see him standing there.

"What if we don't get her Derek?" She asked. "What if we lose her forever?"

"We'll find her Angel-Fish. Her father can't be that hard to find."

"I meant Scarlette."
