Naruto POV.

Naruto stared blankly at the blackboard, with the bickering of Mato and Tor as background noise, thinking every delta know to man that today was the day of the test, and he would no longer have to listen to any more lectures!

The last temp. team was fine, Naruto decided not to tell Shino about his shugo chara's, and instead watched his chara dance and sing discreetly.

And then a week of review…god, it was torture, he really couldn't understand how Sakura could like them as much as she did, they were made only to boar kids to sleep so that teachers could throw things at them, take Shika for example, he got stuff thrown at him daily!

…but he goes to sleep on purpose, because he is a Nara, and Nara's don't give a damn.

Eh, whatever, I'm still using him as my example.

Naruto blinked and came back into reality at Iruka's daily "SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN!" and looked down at him

"Alright class, I'm going to pass out the written test, afterwards we will have one-on-one taijutsu matches, we already have everyone pared for that on a list, and it was chosen randomly, so no complaining. Then the ninjutsu test. Remember no cheating; if you get caught you fail."

"I like how it's only if you get caught." Naruto looked down at Tor, and also started wondering the same thing, so both stared in the air for a few seconds, before, as one, turning to look at Mato for an answer.

"Well, it's not like they will know if you get don't get caught, and they can't punish what they don't know" he said with a shrug.

Naruto blinked, before nodding, and then looking down at the test that was placed in front of him, reading over the questions.

1. What two clan's founded Konoha?

2. What is one of the most important things in Konoha that sets us apart fro other villages?

3. Who are the sannin?

4. what are the major kekkei genkai in Konoha?

5. What ….

This will probably be the easies test I will ever take…

"If you fail this exam, I am quitting as you shugo chara." Mato said while looking at him with a blank expression, before getting hit over the head by Tor, and sparking another one of their arguments, causing Naruto to snicker quietly.

Everyone was outside, standing around a circle painted on the ground, and looking toward Iruka and Mizuki, waiting to see who would be called first.

"Alright, this is the taijutsu portion, you will all only fight once, but winning or losing is not the important part here, you need to show us that you have a decent grasp on at lest on style, be it the academies, or a clan style. The fights will not be separated by gender, so girls and boys can, and will be fighting each other." Iruka looked at his students to make sure that every one understood, before looking at Mizuki, waiting for him to call out the first match.

"Sakura v. Hinata" He waited fro both girls to enter the circle, and the rest of the class to take 5 steps away, before starting.

"There are to be no kekkei genkai, family partners, like bugs or dogs, or weapons. If you disobey these rules, you will lose a good number of points on your total score of the exam. The first person to step over the circle will lose, start!"

"GO Hina! Win!"

"You can do it!"

Naruto flinched, and looked behind him, and there on a tree branch sat two little chara's, cheering Hinata on. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Shino also looking in their direction, before quickly looking at Hinata and Sakura's fight.

…which was completely one sided, seriously.

Hinata had slipped into a stance he assumed was from her clan, and with open palm had started hitting sakura, and every time sakura went to hit her, she would bend or twist out of the way, before she finally knocked sakura out of the circle. The whole fight lasted less the 3 minutes.

Naruto started to blank out, the fights not really interesting since you had fangirls – who couldn't fight- People who gave up –Shika- uneven fights – Sasuke v. Leon- and people who refused to fight – yang.

"Naruto v. Kiba."

Naruto blinked when he heard his name, before grinning widely, and going to the center of the circle, bouncing lightly on the balls of his feet.

Kiba strutted to the circle – which looked silly, as he was 12 and had no reason to strut- grinning confidently.

"It doesn't matter if Akamaru cant help me, I can take Naruto on easy!"

Wow~ he certainly talks big!

"He is underestimating you, this is good, stupid of him, but good for you, take advantage."

"And kick his ass for implying your weak!"

Naruto snickered quietly to himself, agreeing with both of them.

I'll be easy to win if he's underestimating me, but Tor's right, I must get revenge (Sasuke sneezed quietly) for implying that I was weaker then him!

Naruto tilted his head to the side, considering his options –for he had quit a few, pranking went a long way with revenge- before grinning his fox grin, and deciding on fuinjutsu.

"Start."

Kiba immediately charged forward, first raised.

He has a lot of openings

Naruto stepped back a few step to avoid the hit. This went on for a few minutes, Kiba trying to hit Naruto, and Naruto dodging.

Naruto smirked to himself as he saw his back was now to the circle, and was only a foot away from the edge, before slipping his hand to his pouch and pulling out one of his 'special' tags, putting chakra, before slamming it on Kiba and jumping back slightly right as it went off, and Kiba's naturally sensitive nose be assaulted by a ghastly smell, which had him screaming, and backing up as he tried to get the tag off.

"Naruto wins."

"Huh?" Kiba looked up before looking down and cursing, he had stepped out of the circle. Naruto then walked up to Kiba and used the water jutsu Kurenai taught him on Kiba.

"Water neutralizes the smell." He answered to kibas un asked question.

"But Iruka-sensei, Naruto used a weapon, doesn't that mean he broke the rules?" sakura asked.

"Well. I suppose so…" Iruka said looking up in thought.

"But you said weapons, not fuinjutsu!" Naruto argued, he was not going to fail over something that stupid!

Iruka looked at Naruto before nodding to himself,

"You will be getting some points off, but as long as you did well on the test, and on the ninjutsu part you should still be able to pass."

Naruto let a sigh of relief out, before moving to the back of group, and whispering with Tor and Mato.

"We will now be starting the ninjutsu part of the exam, when you name is called you will come into the room. All other scores have been calculated, so once you complete this test you will fin out immediately if you pass or fail. Choji, you're first."

Naruto watched as Choji walked into the room, before leaning back, and going to his favorite hobby, people watching.

The fangirls all seemed fairly confident, saying how they were the best, and that after this Sasuke would have to recognize them/her.

He looked at Sasuke, who was brooding, and looking just as antisocial and teme-ish as usual, and wondered just where do those get their ideals from?

Shika was sleeping, Shota eating pocky –that reminds me, I have some pocky- Leon reading…Dear god his class was sooooo boring!

…it could just be him though…

He glance back at Hinata

"I can't believe she has two charas and we never knew!" Naruto nodded to Tor's words, it was a bit strange, he normally paid more attention then that, but it wasn't two weird, Shino and Hinata didn't know about his charas…well as far as he knew they didn't know, maybe they did and just didn't say anything to him?

….

"Naruto Uzumaki"

Naruto looked up, and then went to the room. Inside was a table with headbands, with Iruka and Mizuki setting behind it.

Iruka looked up as Naruto came in, smiling.

"Please perform the clone jutsu Naruto."

Naruto grimaced, he was no good at the clone jutsu, it was nothing more then a genjutsu, and he just couldn't do genjutsu.

"Does it matter what kind?"

"…Can you do a different clone jutsu? …no, no it doesn't mater as long as you can produce a staple, identical clone."

Naruto nodded, before putting his hand into his favorite hand sign, and

"Shadow clone jutsu"

5 Narutos popped into existence, and now 6 Narutos stood grinning at Iruka, who grinned back before saying,

"You pass Naruto, come up and get you headband."

Naruto jumped on the spot before his clone poofed out of exsistince, and all but running to the table, taking the headband Iruka was holding out to him.

"This is awesome, Dattebayo! I'm a ninja now!"

"yes you are, now you need to come back tomorrow for team assignments, please don't be late or forget." Iruka said the first part with a smile, but a stern look at the end. He knew Naruto way to well.

"So your finally a ninja…you will have to train twice as hard now." Naruto was still grinning; even walking through the crowd of kids with their families couldn't bring his mood down, because he was a ninja!

"I know, Mato. Really though, when do I not train as hard as I can?" he said, looking over to the frowning Sumato, who was probably thinking of all the things Naruto was going to need to learn, and wouldn't be talking for awhile. He always got like that when thinking of training plans.

Naruto shook his head fondly, before looking at Tor, who was smiling up at him from his shoulder, hand to her face, and a glazed look in her eyes.

"What are you thinking about Tor?"

"hmm? Oh! I was think about all the money we could earn now~" she answered in a sing song tone.

Naruto felt a sweat drop on the back of his head, just barley managed to keep himself from tripping.

"Anything in particular you want to buy?" he asked, hoping she didn't just want money.

"Of course! Better quality fuinjutsu supplies!" she said, jumping off his shoulder, and twirling around, smiling happily, with both hands on her face, thinking about all the wonderful fuinjutsu things they could buy "Better paper, different papers –to see what works best with what- notebooks, ink, different types of ink, new brushes! Dear kami, it'll be great, dattabane~" she ended her rate with a sigh, and Naruto laughed, because none of that stuff –outside of some of the papers- were really that expensive, its just that the only places the could buy really good quality things were at ninja only stores.

"we also need to buy an axe." Naruto and Toryo both blinked in shock, before turning to look at Mato is disbelief.

That Mato wanted him to, eventually, have a axe was something that he had know for a long time. It wasn't long after he had hatched that he had made Naruto buy a cheep staff, that Naruto had to have Tor's help with for seals. A seal to make it indestructible –as well as it could be, everything can, and will break if you do it right- and weight seals, which were just a pain in the ass, so that it was as heavy as the type of axe he want me to use, one day. Mind you, we increased to weight over time, didn't just start out with a heavy-ass staff, but it was still a pain in the ass.

But back to the main point.

"Now?"

"Well, not now, you haven't the money, now. But soon."

"Really? I thought ya would wait till he made chunin or somethin', and just made him use the staff, to make sure he could use that kind of weight, and the katas you taught him for it, in the heat of battle." Tor asked, looking up at the sky, but watching Mato out of the corner of her eye.

"Well, he will be using the staff until we have enough money for an axe. And I would have liked to make sure he could use it in the heat of battle, of course, but the fighting style I taught him with it was all for an axe, I've had him imagining the blades for years now, so it really wouldn't do much good in battle, he needs an axe, before the cunin exams."

Do we really need to worry about the exams? I only just became a genin; the next chunin exams are in, what? 4, 5? Months. We wont have to worry about them for awhile, no sensei would send rookie genin to them, people die in the exam." Naruto said, shrugging his shoulders, it just didn't seem like something they should be worrying about yet.

"But getting an axe? Ya will do that, as soon as I've got enough money."

And they continued walking home, not noticing the eyes watching them form on top of a building.

Naruto was sitting in his usual sit in the middle next to the window – not so far back that he looks like a loner, not so close that he looks like a nerd, and close to an escape root- for the last time.

"hey Naruto" Naruto looked up to see Shika and Choji sitting down at his table, and smiled,

"Hey Shika, Choji, how are you guys?"

Choji snickered softly, finishing the chip in his mouth before answering

"Fine. Glad to be a genin now." Before eating more chips. Naruto looked a Shika, who was had his head on his hand, and was looking at him with a raised eyebrow

"What?"

"Why 'Shika', and since when have you been calling me that?" he asked in a drawl, not sounding all that upset over the nickname, more amused then anything.

"It's the first part of your name?" he shrugged "I dunno, you names long, and I've been calling you that since we were on that temp team together.

Shika snorted, shook his head, and then laid down, going to sleep almost immediately.

"How the hell does he do that?" Naruto asked looking at Choji, and pointing at Shika.

"Do what?"

"Fall asleep that fast! I can't fall asleep that fast!"

"Oh, well he's a Nara, all Nara's can do that, they can also wake up on a dime, it's really cool."

"Even the troublesome women." Naruto looked down at Shikas drawl, blinking.

"And you stay aware of what being said around you?"

"Yes, now shut up I'm trying to sleep."

They all went back to their hobbies, watching people, sleeping, and eating, sometime more than one.

All was relatively calm (for a bunch of 12 and 13 years in one room) before Naruto's, and Kiba's, sensitive ear picked up, what sounded like a bull stampede. It wasn't long before it became loud enough for the rest of the class to hear it as well, looking around in confusion, even Shika looked up for a moment, before the door slammed open and everyone heard a loud

"FIRST!" Most stopped paying attention when they saw that it was just ino and sakura. Naruto and Choji both kept watching, because the girls arguments were always fun to watch.

"Looks like you lose again, bill-board brow." Ino said with a flip of her hair, panting.

"What are you talking about Ino-pig, I had to look back to see you, my toe was at least an tenth of an inch ahead of you!" Sakura replied, also panting.

Both girls looked as if they had run a mile, and Naruto had to wonder how girls who were so against sweat could run and sweat like they just did with out freaking out and running to the bathroom, screaming how they had to look perfect for their precious 'Sasuke-kun'.

Naruto saw sakura start looking around the room, ignoring Ino who was talking to her, before smiling and running down the steps to Sasuke.

So sakura has officially beat Ino for position as Sasuke fangirl #1, honestly, the first thing she thinks about after entering the classroom is Sasuke? Oh look, now theirs a heard of fangirls.

And there were, all of the shouting about how they were here first, and as such should be the one to sit next to the 'almighty, cool, sexy (could 12 year olds be sexy?) mysteries amazing Sasuke-kuuunnn'.

Tor snickered, and Mato humpfed, both thinking that these girls were as ridicules as he thought they were.

He head Shikamaru sigh, a looked down at him to see he had one eye open.

"Why do those girls have to be so loud?" he asked

"I dunno, I think there funny." Choji replied.

"I wonder who was really here first…" Naruto questioned.

"Leon" they head from behind them, and looked back to see who it was, and there sat Shota, eating his pocky, and staring at the with a smile,

"I was here second, I came in and Leon was the only one here, so he must be first…well unless someone woke up really early, and came in, realized how early they were and left….but that seems unlikely, so Leon was first."

"Huh, alright" Naruto shrugged, looking around for Leon, when he found him he shouted

"Oi, Leon, you were here first! You sit next to Sas-gay!"

Leon looked shocked, before shaking his head, and seemed to shrink in on himself. It was at that point that Naruto felt the dark aura that was surrounding him

"NARUTO!" Naruto looked in front of him, and stared in amusement, and some horror, at the fangirls in front of him.

"Sasuke-kun is not gay Naruto!" sakura shrieked at him.

He furred his eyebrows, frowning.

"What do you have against homosexuals? You could die any day, let them be happy!"

"Huh?" sakura said, sounding shocked – and maybe a bit hurt- taking a step back,

"I don't care if people are gay! I'm just saying Sasuke-kun isn't gay!"

"And how do you know that?"

"Well, Sasuke –kun is going to rebuild his clan, he cant do that if he's gay

"I still think that there's away."

"So? That just means that he has to sleep with some women, not that he doesn't like boys."

"I'm not gay!"

Naruto blinked and looked at Sasuke who had developed a twitch in his eye, before grinning, opening his mouth-

"Alright, everyone SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN! I will be giving out the team assignments, then we will have a 2hour lunch, which I suggest you eat with your teammates, when you come back you jounin teacher will pick you up.

After Irukas daily shut up and sit down, all the girl had a brief struggle over who would sit next to Sasuke, it ended with sakura next to him, and Ino next to her.

Aright, team 1, 2, 3, and 4 are in rotation,, so team 5 is Kiyo, Shota, and Kota.

Team 6 will be yang, Leon, and Seikyo. Team 7 will be kiba, Sasuke, and sakura.

Team 8 will be Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji. Team 9 will be Mimi, Rota, and Luino.

Team 10 will ne Hinata, Shino, and Naruto. And team 11 will me Yumi, Tyko, and Tynoka."

That poor bastered, two fangirls on one team? Who does that to someone? Naruto looked at Tyko, and saw him scowling, looking beyond upset about his team.

What kind of team will they be? Infiltration?

Naruto looked at his two teammates, and smirked.

So I got the weird girl and bug guy? I'd probably be more upset if it weren't for the fact that they both have charas.
