"Nobody will ever suffer because of you again," I growled and took a deep breath.

I laid all my wrath, anger, desperation and love into the ghost-wail I threw towards the ceiling.

The room crumbled and all the walls began to break. I fell to my knees. I had started some kind of an earthquake.

That's it. Spectra'll be gone and I along with her.

Danny Phantom freed the ones he loved and sacrificed himself.

"Come on, hero, we gotta get outta here!" Dani shouted in my ear that it hurt.

Everything hurt.

Wait a sec: if it hurt then I still felt something, and if I felt something, I was alive.

I groaned and moaned and helped Dani pushing the pebbles off of me.

The whole house had broken down. It was a wonder I was still alive. Nobody could possibly have lived through this. Nobody…

"Sam! Mum!"

I called for them, lifted parts of the walls form the ground, looked for any sign of life.

"SAM! MUM! Where are you? Answer me!" From one end of the isle to the other- no sign of life.

"Danny!"

"No, Dani, I have to find them, they must be here somewhere." I lifted some shattered tiles. "Spectra mustn't have won," I muttered.

"Danny, turn around!"

I looked over at her and saw the Specter Speeder.

"Man, what would you do without me?" Tucker's voice was not the one I wanted to hear right now, but the sight of the two women right behind him made it all up.

"Sam, Mum!" I flew to the Speeder and phased through the wall.

For a few seconds I just stood there frozen and looked at them.

"Are you okay?" My voice was barely a thick whisper.

I looked in Sam's eyes and saw the tears- in my own.

"Danny!" She lunged at me and pulled me into a tight hug. I simply held her closely, buried my face in her shoulder.

"Sam…" Just her name gave me so much strength. Her stroking hand, which rubbed soothingly on my back, did the rest to let the tears break free.

"Come on," she whispered and pulled me to the cot, where she had patched me up so many times before. Because I still had my head on her shoulder, she turned tediously to get the supplies.

Seemingly from the far distance I heard my mother's voice, "Let me do it."

"Mummy?"

"I'm here, Danny. Everything is going to be fine." I felt her hand on my knee. Hesitantly I pulled away from Sam and looked at my mother.

"Did she hurt you?"

"No, Danny, Sam and I are fine."

"Just a bit angry," my friend smiled and pushed a strand of hair out of my face.

I knew it, she was sad that Spectra had spoken so true.

"Not with you, Clueless, with her!" I simply nodded, all my strength taken from me, leaving me empty from power, but full of happiness. Sam took my hand and squeezed it lightly.

"Careful," she whispered.

"Don't worry about me~heeee! Mum! That hurt!" She must've put on some disinfect, that stung like hell on the scars on my back.

"Sorry, honey, I thought Sam had distracted you enough."

"There comes the big savior- ready to fight after being buried alive and defeated by gauze." Dani's comment made us all laugh.
The tension broke, we were all free and –more or less- unharmed.

I still held Sam's hand as Tucker –after a fist-bump with Dani- flew us home.

The action was over. As most of the times, the ectoplasm vanished back into the ghost-zone and the make-up still around was only colour for the face. No danger emitted from that anymore and all the girls in Amity Park were their old selves again.

Just to make sure, Jazz ran one of her self-made psychological tests on everyone we knew were infected.

I rolled my eyes, but let her do as she pleases. It didn't hurt anyone, right?

Dani swore to never wear make-up ever again, and seeing it as she was as pretty as Jazz and I didn't look to scream and run either, she wouldn't need any.

Mom on the other hand bought one piece of cosmetic of every line she could get hands on and tested them on dangerous chemicals. In the process she developed a method to test the skin- tolerability for humans without having to test it cruelly on animals. Sam informed her that such a process already existed, but most companies still used the old methods and tortured animals.
If not ghostly manipulation than sure cheap costs reigned the world.

Sam is back to being her old self- she fights for whatever she thinks right and despises the people who don't.
Only one thing changed in her life- her boyfriend is with her on every demonstration she goes to.

How that happened? It started how things like that tend to start: with one clueless boy, two teenagers in love and three days after when everything had calmed down enough to have a clear head.

As if I could let anyone die. Not even a fictional character.
The story could end here, but if you like, I have one last chapter prepared. Tell me, if you want it!

Thank you as always,
Sunny
