Hey! So after weeks of writers block, several sleepless nights, and MANY late night snacks; I have finally gotten the next chapter up! Yay me! I have also finished my finals, 3 of which I aced! I got a C in math though... Alright, I'll stop now.
Disclaimer: J.K. Rowling has billions of dollars, a career, and (probably) magic. I do not. Therefore I cannot be her.

Scorpius's POV:
"That bloody prick!" I shouted. I was pacing in the infirmary. It had been two days since the incident with the arse, McMoore.
When I had glimpsed him practically raping Rose, I saw red. I don't remember much about what happened after I ripped the Ravenclaw bastard off of her. Though, from what Kati told me, it only three punches straight to the face to knock McMoore unconscious. Prat deserved what he got.
Speaking of him, he's sitting three beds down, moaning about his head pains. I almost chuckle, he is so pathetic. He sends a quick glare my way, and I make sure to respond with equal venom, if not more.
"Scorp, let it go. He's already injured, and will be suspended as soon as he can leave the hospital wing." There's Rose. Just hearing her voice made the white hot fury subside.
" Rosie, come on! One little hex could do the boy some good!" She continued to look sternly into my eyes, and I crumbled. A smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth showed that she knew she'd won again.
"Stubborn arse." I mutter good naturedly. I hopped next to Rose on the bed, her clean-cotton and cinnamon fragrance twisting around me. I inhale deeply and try my very hardest not to pounce on her.
"So Scorp, what's your excuse for visiting me yet again?" She inquires, sounding just a bit breathless.
"I forgot my favorite thing in the world here." I respond, with as much calm as I could muster.
"And that would be?"
"You, of course, my dear!" I ruffle her hair, hoping that I sound like an older brother, not the love-struck idiot I am. Her lips tilt downwards, as if she was hoping for another answer.
"Well, you'll always have me! Your honorary sister!" Her smile came back so quickly that I thought I had imagined the look of sheer pain that had just occupied her face. Though her bright grin seemed a bit forced. I know mine was.
Suddenly Albus, Kati, Fred and the rest of the gang appeared next to the bed I was currently stretched out on. When they had stolen Rose's attention, I slipped from the bed and out the room. Hoping for some peace, I head for the kitchens. When I arrive, Casey Hawthorne and her band of bumbling minions giggled. I groaned.
"Oh, Scorpy. I didn't expect you here." Casey sent a look to her friends and they scurried out the portrait. Casey smiled slyly, and patted the seat next to her. I gulped and sat down far away from her.
"Hawthorne." I acknowledged her with a slight nod in her direction. She ignored my cold recognition.
"So Scorpius... would you possibly like to go to Hogsmeade with me?" I pull a revolted face at her question, and began to say no, when I start to think it over.
Rose saw me as family. Nothing more. While that broke my heart into tiny pieces, I know I need to get over her; no matter how impossible it seems. Casey was just sitting here, offering to help me get over Rose. She is still looking at me hopefully. I say the words before I can stop them.
"I'd love to."
It's just what I need. Though Hawthorne will never be who I want.

Rose's POV:
Sister. That's all I was. A... a little sister to protect and tease. Not as a love interest. Not as how I saw him. Not how I wanted him to see me. I registered this several times in my brain. I want to crumble the hope that I have into a ball. Then throw it in fire.
"Rose." Kati's voice gently shakes me out of my thoughts. I glance up, and my best friend looks down at my eyes with pity and sorrow.
"Rose, I have to ask you a question. And hopefully in private." She says, though it sounded more like a question than a statement.
I plaster on the cheery smile I'd been using since my family arrived.
"Of course!" I grab my wand and with a small flick, the curtains around my bed closed. With another flick, the fabric walls were soundproof. No one would hear this conversation.
Kati took a deep breath, and looked at me nervously.
"So I notice you and Scorp are a lot more... intimate lately. Would you like to talk about that?" That was all it took to break me down into tears.
"Shhh. Rosie-Posie, what's up?"
Through my deep sobs and constant sniffling, I managed to hear her question, and while thinking it over I realized something. It only made me cry harder.
When I thought about Scorpius, I felt love so deep for him that it physically hurt to see him talk to another girl. Everything about him was perfect, from his snowy hair to his stormcloud eyes. His strong jawline, perfect teeth, and all the freckles that dust his pale face. But what I loved the most was really how he held me and made me laugh and sent notes to me in class. And thinking that he didn't feel the same as I did was ripping my heart in half. Scorpius had just taken a part of me with him.
"I love him. I could never love anyone else." I gasped, my breath ragged. The look Kati sent me was one of sympathy.
"Rosie, would you feel better if we went to the kitchens?" This only made me wail harder. She knew exactly where I would want to go after my breakdown. I couldn't speak so I just nodded. Kati gave me one last pitying look before she went to go harass Al for the cloak.
"Oi, Potter! Yeah you, Al! I need the cloak."
"But-" He sputtered.
"Al, give that cloak to me or I will force it from your hands!" I giggled at this. Al was terrified of Kati, and he would probably shove it into her arms. Kati returned, and covered me with the cloak. I grabbed my wand and sneakers in my hands and we left for the kitchens.

I know, it's super short. Well I have to say, it was difficult to write! And all those who are still in school, HAPPY SUMMER! See you soon (hopefully)!
