Hey guys sorry for the long wait but I had writer's block so I took things slowly. Anyway here's the next chapter.

Kim POV

"What the hell are you guys doing here!" I yell at Blake and Zeke. They were just staring at me with stern expressions.

"You're late." was all Blake said. Zeke continuing to stare at me. "By one hour. We had lots of fun and he was a true gentlemen." I replied. "Thank you for looking out for me but I can take care of myself."

"Kim, you should know us by now. No matter what you say or do Blake and I will always look after you no matter what. You can always count on us." I smiled, "Fine. Goodnight guys please get the hell out."

Jared POV

I can't stop replaying the kiss over and over again. That was the best date I ever went on sadly thinking of all the other dates I went on. Now regretting every one. I can't take them back now so I go back to thinking of Kim. Everything about her is perfect. Her lips, nose, ears, body, everything. I heard Paul howl and I immediately ran into the woods, shifting. I couldn't believe how much Kim has already affected my life.

Before her I would've taken my time patrolling or when someone howled I would've been one of the last ones there. Now with Kim in my life, I'm more alert because I have someone to protect. Where are the filthy bloodsuckers? I ask. We all arrived to where Paul is and saw at least five vampires sucking on campers: three adults and two children. They didn't even smell us since they were so full of bloodlust.

Tear those filthy things apart. Sam growles.

He doesn't have to tell us twice. Sam and Paul fight the leader while the rest of us kill the rest.

"Congradulations on imprinting Jared" Emily says putting down muffins on the table.

"Thanks Em she's beautiful." I say..

"Yeah? Then why haven't you noticed her before you changed?" Paul challenges.

"Paul nock it off." Sam says.

"By the way Jared how did the date go?" Embry asks.

I smile thinking again about the kiss. I wonder if Kim needs a ride to school tomorrow.

"Great. One date and he's already whipped."

"Shut it Paul. Just wait until you imprint then you'll understand why I'm like this." I say. "I have to go. I have patrol." I jump up and go outside phasing. Now paying more attention for the next three hours.
