A/N: So apparently it's been more than month since I updated and I'm sorry for that. I was busy with studying for school and stuff and I was also working on other stories besides this one. I'll try to update more often, but I can't promise anything!

Chapter 7 : From Crazy to Crazier

(POV Rachel)

My mind was going crazy. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to go to- A sound broke my thoughts. I looked around. What was that? I stopped walking and kept looking.

"Hello? Is anybody there?"

I asked. I was already scared because I was alone in the dark, so if anyone wanted to scare me even more, you could do it this way. I was probably going to have a heart attack if something happened. Suddenly I heard someone running to me behind my back. The person grabbed me and held his or her hand on my mouth before I could turn around. I wanted to see the person's face, but I couldn't move. This made me even more scared. I screamed but all that came out of my mouth was a dull sound. I tried to get the person off me, but there was no point in doing that. The person was stronger than me. That was not a surprise, because I knew I was physically not the strongest. Then the person suddenly started to drag me away. I tried to wring me out of his or her arms again, but of course it didn't help. Suddenly I remembered something. When Hiram held his hand on my mouth and I bit on his finger, he removed his hand. I didn't hesitate a moment and bit as hard as I could. The person let go of me and I turned around. No way. This could not be true.

"Ms. Puckerman?"

It came out more as a scream than a question.

"I know you think I'm crazy right now, but-"

I didn't let her finish her sentence.

"Of course I do! Oh my god!"

"Listen, Rachel. I didn't know where you were going but I had to make sure you were going to come to my place."

"By kidnapping me? Seriously? How did you even know I was walking here? How did you know I was searching for a place to stay?"

"Your dad… Hiram… He called me and said-"

I widened my eyes and interrupted her.

"Hiram called you? Does he know Leroy is in hospital?"

"He is? No, he didn't tell me that. All he said was I needed to let you stay at my place. I needed to find you before you would go anywhere else… I thought you wouldn't just go with me, so…"

I shook my head.

"You are insane, I'm sorry, but you are. You wouldn't have had to attack me, 'cause I was going to your place anyway… But now I'm not so sure anymore…"

"You were? Oh… Why? I mean, there are many other places you could go."

I raised my eyebrows.

"Actually, no. It's midnight. Normally everyone's asleep at this time, you know, except, well, you. I knew you would open the door and let me in. I couldn't think of anyone else."

It was silent for a few seconds. Then Ms. Puckerman started to talk.

"We should go home…"

"Go home? To your place? I said I wasn't so sure anymore if it would be a good idea… I mean, if you wanted to kidnap me now, I don't know what to expect when I'm at yours…"

"Oh c'mon, I won't do anything. Noah's there and I have to set a good example, you know. I'm his mother. And if I will, he will protect you. You're still important to him."

"Oh puh-lease, I've never been important to him. We've never been together and we've never been friends."

I sighed. I knew she didn't believe that, or she just didn't want to believe it.

"That's not true. I've seen you two-"

"No! You haven't seen anything! It's not possible because we haven't been together!"

"I have! I have seen you two holding hands!"

"Oh c'mon, that was when all of us, the whole glee club, where at the hospital to support Tina when her mother was in coma, and we were all holding hands!"

"Yes, but when everyone let go, you two didn't!"

"Why is it so important to you that you are right?"

I frowned. I wanted to ask her this for ages. I thought she wasn't going to respond, but she was.

"Because you and Noah belong together…"

I frowned even deeper.

"You think so? Omg… It is my decision to make if I wanna be with Puck or not! You don't have anything to do with it!"

"You know what? I won't poke my nose that much into your relationship-"

"Please, don't call it that way."

"-if you come with me."

"I don't really believe you."

"What do I have to do to let you believe?"

I sighed, took a breath and answered.

"You know what? I'll never believe you, so I'll just come with you, okay? But, if you break you're promise, I will get the hell away from your house and never return."

Ms. Puckerman nodded.

"I understand, but I am still older than you, so I expect you not to talk to me like that again, okay?"

I nodded.

"Alright, let's go then."

/

(POV Finn)

"Bye Quinn."

Quinn yawned and looked at me in confusion.

"Where are you going? It's fucking 7 am!"

"I'm going to get my stuff. They're still at the Puckerman's, you know."

"So you just go there?"

"Yes."

I didn't see what was wrong with that.

"Don't you think they want you to stay there?"

"Yes I do, but I'm not going to."

Quinn frowned.

"They will do everything to keep you there. They got power, so I'm pretty sure they will succeed."

I shook my head and walked closer to her.

"Hey, I'm not gonna let that happen."

Quinn slightly smiled, but I knew she wasn't convinced. I held her face.

"I'm gonna come back. I promise."

I planted a kiss on her lips and finally she looked satisfied.

/

"Hello Ms. Puckerman."

I said, after she opened the door of her house.

"Finn, I… What are you doing here? I mean, where the hell have you been?"

"Where I've been is not your concern, miss. I'm here to pick up my stuff and then I'll go back to my safe haven."

"Finn, your mum and I made a deal. You are not moving outta this place until you're graduated from high school."

"But-"

"Finn, that's not the problem. There's someone else replacing you anyway."

"What?"

I frowned. l That wasn't the problem? And a replacement? What?

"I know it's confusing, but just go with it."

I sighed.

"Alright. So, what is the problem?"

Ms. Puckerman looked surprised I didn't come up with it myself.

"I've heard it Finn. The reasons you went away. THAT's the real problem. Suddenly throwing a party and inviting everyone you know-"

I interrupted.

"Actually, that's not one hundred percent true."

Ms. Puckerman ignored me and went on.

"-and my expensive vase broke… Who did it? You?"

I widened my eyes.

"No, it was..."

I stopped talking. Saying Puck's name was like breaking the bro code, but I didn't want to lie either, so instead I used a white lie, which was only a little bit of lying.

"Well?"

She looked at me like she wanted to stab me if I didn't tell.

"It was just some drunk guy who didn't really know what he was doing… He was losing control…"

Ms. Puckerman sighed.

"Well then… forget about the vase, 'cause that's nothing in comparison with what YOU, my boy, have done!"

I looked at her, questionably.

"What… what exactly have I done?"

Ms. Puckerman rolled her eyes.

"You kissed Rachel Berry for Christ's sake, how could you do that?"

"Why does everybody keeps asking me that? Like, it's a sin?! Like, it's some forbidden movement or something?"

"Are you serious? You don't know that?"

I shook my head.

"Then why did you kiss her? You don't even fucking know her!"

Ms. Puckerman grabbed me by my shoulders and pushed me off the porch. I fell and my head hit the ground. Not very hard, but it still hurt. I slowly got up and saw Puck coming to Ms. Puckerman.

"Mom, what's going on?"

He looked at me with both worry and hate in his eyes.

"He has gone crazy!"

She said and pointed at me and walked back into her house.

"What have you done?"

Puck said when he had run to me and had grabbed my jacket.

"Just… It was about me kissing Rachel… again… What does everybody have on me? I get why it's wrong, but it seems like I'm the only one who thinks there aren't any consequences bounded to that kiss… What is it? What is the consequence?"

"Finn, of course there are consequences! Every decision one makes has consequences!"

Puck removes his hands from my jacket.

"What's it, Puck?"

"You just saw one of the consequences."

Puck said and walked back to his porch.

"What? Your mom? What has your mother to do with it?"

Puck sighed and turned around.

"Everything, Finn, everything."

I frowned. He wasn't going to say it. Puck walked back into his house, but just before he closed the door I realized why I had come to the Puckermans.

"Wait! I didn't come here for no reason! I want to collect my stuff and go back to-"

I stopped. There was no need to tell him this. He told me he didn't want to know anyway.

"To where?"

"That's not your concern. Can I go inside?"

Puck sighed.

"No. My mum will beat the crap out of you. I'll get your stuff. Wait here."

He said and closed the door behind him.

/

(POV Rachel)

"Noah, who was that?"

"Nobody."

He said and walked upstairs. I sighed and walked to the kitchen to pour myself a drink.

"Hello Rachel."

I turned around.

"Oh hey, Ms. Puckerman."

"Did you invite Finn?"

"What? No. Why?"

Ms. Puckerman didn't answer and walked away. Suddenly I got it. Finn was the one at the door. I looked through the window and to my surprise I saw Finn was still there. As soon as I knew I was running towards the front door and opened it.

"Finn? What are you doing here?"

Finn looked up in confusion.

"Rachel? What are you- Shit, she's coming. Shut the door."

I frowned.

"Who's 'she'?"

"That would be me."

I turned around and saw Ms. Puckerman. I looked back at Finn.

"Why are you afraid of her?"

Ms. Puckerman answered instead of Finn.

"Because of this."

She ran out of her house towards Finn. I screamed.

"Mom, stop!"

Puck yelled, who had suddenly appeared behind me. She grabbed Finn's shoulders.

"Why would I?"

"Because he's never done anything to you, mom."

Puck walked toward them and dropped a bag next to Finn. Ms. Puckerman didn't answer.

"Mom, let go of him. He's leaving. Right, Finn?"

Finn nodded.

"Yes, I swear. I'll never come back."

"Just let him go!"

I said. I almost wanted to look away. I knew he was hurting, although he didn't show it. Ms. Puckerman gave Finn a final push – he fell again- and walked past me, back into the house like nothing has been going on.

"C'mon, get up."

Puck said and helped Finn. I walked toward them.

"You okay?"

Finn nodded.

"Yeah, thanks."

"Tell me one thing, bro. Where are you staying?"

Finn straightened his back and looked at Puck.

"At Quinn's."

/

"Hey Quinn, I'm back!"

Quinn immediately came rushing to me.

"Where have you been? You've been away for… I don't know… way too long!"

She hugged me like I've been away for months.

"Yes, but… I have what I needed."

Quinn let go of me and I showed her my bag.

"That's great, but… What happened? I mean, something must have happened, 'cause-"

I interrupted her.

"Ms. Puckerman, that's what happened."

"Oooooh, alright. Have you already had breakfast?"

"Wait. You don't have any questions? You… you…"

"Yes, I get it. And no, I don't have questions, because I know her and she's crazy."

I let out a sigh of relief.

"Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. What did she do to you?

Quinn groaned.

"Let's just say I felt like I hadn't done anything wrong, but she did think I had, and that's why she hated me."

I widened my eyes.

"That really sounds like my story!"

Quinn laughed.

"I guess we've got more in common than we thought."

I smiled. I loved this Quinn. This sweet, compassionate Quinn. I just wanted her to be like this at school, too.

"Guess so. And maybe even more, you never know. I want to find out, so do you want to go to Breadstix with me? Tonight?"

Quinn put a big smile on her face.

"Yes. Only if you pay."

She joked and laughed.

"Then that's a deal. I'm excited. Let me kiss you…"

I softly put a kiss on her lips.

"Hey, you still haven't answered my question if you've already had breakfast."

She said and grabbed my hands.

"Oh. No, no I haven't."

"Then let me make one for you."

Quinn said and walked away. She was the best girlfriend I could imagine having.

A/N: So Ms. Puckerman is one crazy bitch, hah?! Anyway, I hoped you liked it and don't forget to review/follow/favorite etc. Until next time ;)
