Hey there, everyone. Sorry for my unexpected, sudden disappearances. I promise you that I will no longer be leaving for long periods of time. At least, not until July when I'll be going on a trip. Anyways, the important thing is that I will be continuing with my stories.

The EpicDuck123: First of all thank you for your positive reviews, they mean a lot. Also, I'm glad you like the last chapter and, well, the whole story in general. Now, here's the next chapter. Hope you like it as well.

Let's get on with the story.

I rushed down the stairs, heading towards the stables where I expected to find Tullius.

He got into racing seahorses, during the last couple years and I remember how he would always write and ask if I would come watch him. I would have loved to but my parents didn't want me away from home without them.

Instead of running into Tullius, like I hoped, I bumped into his mother.

"Oh, sorry." I apologized, looking downward.

"It's alright, dear." she said and lifted my chin. When she did, I had a good look of her and she did as well. "Oh my," she gasped. "You are as pretty as Tullius said." she complimented. "He's a really lucky merman and you're a lucky mermaid."

I would have thanked her or possibly blush at her comment, but the way her green eyes stared through me made me feeling uncomfortable. Also, her touch wasn't pleasant.

"Well, I'll let you get back to looking for Tullius." she smiled and let go of my chin. "That was what you were doing, right?" I nodded slowly, wondering if she read my mind or if it was that obvious.

Once she was gone, I felt a shiver down my back. I tried to shake of the feeling and kept swimming. Something about her frightened me. "But she looks completely normal." I thought. "She's really slender and pretty with her blond hair, green eyes, and a purple tail. Why does she make me feel uncomfortable?"

Before I could think about it any more, I found Tullius. He was was feeding one of the seahorses.

"Hello there, princess." he greeted when he noticed my presence.

"Hello, Tullius." I smiled and swam up to him. "What are you doing?"

"I'm going to go race." he answered. "So, have you met my family?" he asked, changing the subject.

"I came across your mother while coming here." I told him and watched him adjust the saddle. I watched him, not saying a word. He didn't say anything, so he either didn't hear me or the conversation was dead. "Go on. Tell him." I encouraged myself. "But I don't know how or what to say." I argued with my self conscious. "Just do it!" I shouted in my mind. "Fine," I huffed and Tullius heard me.

"What?" he questioned.

"What? Oh, um...it's just-" I mumbled.

"Hey, Tullius!" someone shouted. "Are you ready?"

"Yea! I'm coming!" He yelled back and grabbed the reins.

He started swimming away, before I shouted, "Tullius, wait! I need to tell you something!" He stopped in his tracks and turned around. I swam up to him, standing face-to-face.

"Yes?"

I stared into his eyes and started to grow pink. "You know what. I-It can wait." I stuttered, twirling my hair.

"Are you sure?" he frowned, looking concerned. I nodded and he said, "Okay. I'll see you later." He hugged me and I didn't want to let go. However, I had to because I didn't want to make things awkward.

As I made my way to my bedroom, I was scolding at myself for not telling him how I felt. I really wanted to tell him, but I had no idea how. "Arg!" I groaned as I flopped on my bed. "If I don't get this out, I'm going to grow crazy." I stared at the ceiling, sighing. "Maybe I should go after him." After a moment of silence, I told myself, "Maybe I will." Another moment of silence before I shouted, "That's exactly what I'll do!"

What do you think? I hope you like although it's kind of short. Remember to review. If you have any questions go ahead and ask. If you have a complaint or suggestion, tell me. I'd love to improve my writing. Thanks for reading.
