Hey guys how's it going? Here's my 7th chapter up. I hope I'm making up for my long absence by updating this quickly.

Chapter 7

POV Will be in Percy's unless otherwise said from now on.

As I arrive in central park I find myself in a clearing surrounded by trees.

Now how the hell am I supposed to find the hunters, I thought.

Just then I heard the twang of a bow and I saw a silver arrow coming my way. I move to the side slightly and snatch the arrow out of mid-air.

I hear the twang of multiple bows this time, and there's a whole wave of arrows coming at me this time. I pull out riptide and my shield and I block the arrows.

Then out of the trees comes multiple girls dressed in silver parkers. At the head of the group is an auburn haired 12-year-old.

Now she might look like just a normal 12-year-old girl but trust me, you don't want to mess with her.

I could have stayed up and fought them all, but like chaos said, if I was going to spend time with these girls I needed to earn their respect, and get them to like me.

I dropped into a low bow, "Lady Artemis" I said respectfully.

"Who are you, boy" she said the last word with venom laced in her voice.

"I'm surprised you don't remember me, Lady Artemis" and I pulled down my hood.

"Perseus" she said surprised

I nodded.

She looked at me for a second, before giving me an apologetic look. She then snapped her fingers and I was bound by silver chains.

I was so surprised I didn't even try to get out. "Why" was all I said.

"I'm sorry Perseus, but my father has ordered me to take you to Olympus".

I then looked around the hunters in search of Thalia. When I caught her eyes she looked away sadly. Her eyes showed remorse, but still she didn't do anything. What is it with people betraying me? I gave her a betrayed look and looked back to Lady Artemis.

I bowed my head, "do what you must"

She then snapped her fingers and we were gone.

When I opened my eyes I was chained in the middle of the throne room. Well, I thought amused, this seems familiar.

I looked up to see Zeus staring at me in anger. I looked to my left to see my father's throne unoccupied. Well that's weird.

"See, no one can stay away from the king of the gods" Zeus said boastfully.

"Actually" I piped up "It was Artemis that caught me, not you"

He looked at me murderously before continuing. "Perseus Jackson" I cringed at my full name, "you have been sentenced Tartarus"

"Been there done that" I said.

"Any last words, Perseus"

"That's what you said last time, and they weren't my last word"

He got up and was just about to throw his master bolt at me, again, before a black portal opened right next to me.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, Zeus, he is your only help in the net war"

"We don't need help from a petty mortal"

Suddenly chaos looked mad, "DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO ZEUS" he thundered.

Zeus looked like he was about to piss himself, before composing himself and replying "Do YOU know who you are talking to. I am Zeus, King of the gods"

"Well I am Chaos, Creator of the Universe"

All the gods in the room gasped and dropped into a bow, including Zeus.

Wow, I never thought I would see the day when the mighty Olympians would bow down to someone.

Athena decided to step in and save her father. "We are sorry Lord Chaos, we didn't know to whom we were speaking too"

"It is quite alright Pallas Athena, now where was I, yes I remember, as I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted" he looked at Zeus "There is another threat rising from the void, I am not sure what it is yet, but it gives of a powerful aura" All the gods looked scared now. "I will not be able to help you in this war" he continued "but my champion Percy here will"

The gods looked stunned but this. "That punk is your champion" guess who said that?

"Yes Ares, he is, and I would appreciate it if you would not try to kill, not that you could anyway" Ares was about to retort before Hera shut him up.

"What would you have us do then Lord Chaos" Artemis Asked.

"I'm glad you asked, he will be given the position as guardian of the hunt

"What!" Artemis screamed "I will not be having a boy in the hunt, even if it is Perseus" she was about to continue but one glare from chaos shut her up.

"You are one of the Olympians main fighting forces, and you will need to be protected in the upcoming war"

"The hunters can defend themselves" she replied.

"If I remember correctly, which I do, I think it was Perseus who saved you and your hunter about 200 year back"

She about to retort before she stopped herself, smart move maiden goddess I thought. Chaos doesn't have the most patience.

"OK then Perseus, repeat after me, I –Insert Name- Promise to protect Artemis and her hunt to the best of my abilities, you must swear it by my name"

"I Perseus Jackson promise to protect Artemis and her hunt to the best of my abilities, I swear it by chaos". I glowed black for a minute before I died down.

"Now I must be off" and with that chaos disappeared.

When he was gone I decided I was sick of the chains and I ripped them off my arms. The gods looked amazed at my strength before they remembered who I was.

I looked at Zeus and said "see they weren't my last words".

He gave me a murderous glare before flashing out in a bolt of lightning. Jeez, I thought, he should be the god of theatrics. As if reading my thoughts the other gods chuckled.

"Meet me at the hunter's camp by midnight" Artemis said before flashing out.

One by one all the gods flashed out before the only ones left were Apollo and Hestia.

Apollo walked up to me, "Take good care of my little sis" he said. I just nodded and then he flashed out.

Hestia then walked up to me and hugged me. "I'm so sorry about Nico" she whispered in my ear. She then pulled away and flashed out.

I was about to vapour travel out until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I was so surprised that I whirled round and put a knife to the person's neck.

When I looked up to see who it was, I dropped my knife and it clattered to the floor. Standing in front of me was my father, Poseidon.

"What do you want" I asked venomously

He looked taken back for a second by my tone of voice. "What have I done to upset you son"

"Oh I don't know" I replied sarcastically, "maybe not help me when I was being banished by the gods, or not telling my sibling's the truth about me, and let them think of me as a traitor"

"Percy, I did help you remember, I gave you the water in the throne room, and Zeus threatened me that if I did anything to help you he would kill everyone in Atlantis, as for not telling your siblings about you, I did not know they thought about you like that",

I checked his face for a second for any signs that he's lying, "I swear it on the river Styx" he says.

I look at him a second stunned before I launch forward and hugged him. "I missed you dad"

"I missed you to son"

We stayed like that before he broke the hug.

"I must be going son. I have to attend to my duties."

I nod my head and then he flashes away.

I looked at my watch and saw it was 23:45; I had to be at Artemis's camp soon.

Just as I was about to vapour travel there I realise I have no idea where I need to go. Gods I am a Seaweed Brain sometimes.

Then I hear chaos' voice in my head, "You just need to think about her and you will feel a pull towards where she is"

I tried and I felt the pull to where she was. The problem was I didn't know her location so I couldn't vapour travel.

I decided to try something I don't do often. I thought about the wings on my back and then appeared. I spread them wide and I kicked off from the ground. I flapped my wings and I was now flying out of Olympus.

I followed the pull to Artemis and in after about 7 minute I felt her presence beneath me. I closed my wings and dropped to the ground. I landed on one knee right in the middle of the camp causing a small earthquake. The hunters spun around with their bows pointed at me.

I chuckled, sometimes I feel like this the only way they know how to greet people.
