Hey, sorry for the wait for the update. Started Collage and been very busy. Big thank you to all those that review this story and i hope you enjoy the update
The three lion cubs ran toward the eastern border of the pride lands laughing.
"All right it worked" Simba said as he looked back over his shoulder and the three slowed down to a quick walk.
"Yeah, did you see his face" Nala said between laughs. The group of three stopped as they tried to catch there breath between laughs.
"I am a genius" Simba Bragged to them and Kagome just gave a smile and rolled her eyes at her brother. But Nala gave him a hard look.
"Hey Genius, it was my idea" She countered. Simba just gave her a smirk.
"Yeah but I pulled it off" Simba bragged again. Nala just gave him a look that said 'really?'
"Because of me" Nala counter, getting mad at Simba.
"Oh yeah?" and with that said Simba pounced on to the other cubs and rolled around in the dirt trying to pin the other one. Kagome gave them both a worried look as the got closer to the cliff edge.
"Hey, come on guys, don't fight" She tried to reason them with. "We did it together" but her pleas were falling on deaf ears. In the end it was Nala who Pinned Simba down. Yet again.
"Pinned ya" She said in Simba's face proudly.
"Hey, let me up" Simba said sourly to the cub as she got off him. He gave her a calculating look.
"Simba, you know the Nala ALWAYS pins you" Kagome said trying to break the tension between the two.
"RAWW!" but Simba didn't listen to her, he lunged for Nala again but this time it pushed both of them over the cliff and they both went sliding down the cliff, but they still tried to put the other. Kagome watched them in horror as she watched them go over. She ran to the cliff side.
"SIMBA! NALA! BE CAREFALL!" she yelled down to them. As she watched them go further down the cliff. Jumped over the edge and started to slide down after her brother and friend. The other two, looked as if they hadn't noticed that they had gone down the cliff as they still tried to best the other. But once again when they reached the bottom, it was Nala who pinned the prince.
"Pinned ya again" she said as she got off him.
"Guys!" Kagome and she slid down the rumble slowly. "Are you ok?" she asked as she got closer. She looked them over and when she saw there was no blood anywhere gave a sigh of relief. "You guys need to be more careful, I would I explain it to Mum or Sarafina if one of you had died?"
"Relax Kags" Nala said as she got of Simba to let him up, giving her a victory smile.
"This is it" Simba said excitedly as he got to his paws and looked around the area they had landed "we made it." Kagome and Nala also began to look round at where they were. Kagome had been so worried about her brother and best friend she hadn't even looked at where they were, and Nala had been too busy rolling down with Simba. Kagome began to have a bad feeling about the place, now they were there.
"Simba, this place is creepy" she said as she moved closer to Nala for her own piece of mind.
"I know, isn't it great" he replied and he started to walk closer to the bones of an elephant's skull.
"And we could get in so much trouble" Nala said as if she was happy about it.
"I know, right" Simba said to her equally excited. It had always confused Kagome why Simba and Nala wanted in get in to trouble.
"We should head back" Kagome suggested to them as she stopped walking with them, giving them a pleading look. The bad feeling she had been feeling about this place was getting worse the longer they stayed there.
"Hang on a minute Kags; I want to see if its brains are still in there" Nala said as she and Simba walked closer to the skull. Kagome followed them but a little behind them as she was still feeling nervous about the whole place.
"Yeah Kagome, relax a little" Simba told her, not even looking back at her.
"Come on" Nala whispered to them both as she tried to take the lead, but Simba sped up.
"Yeah let's check it out-"
"Oh no" Zazuu said to them as he flew in front of Simba and Nala out of no where, making Kagome squally a bit from the surprise. Zazuu was giving them all a hard look and flapping his wings to make them move back away from the skull. "The only checking out you'll be doing, is checking out of here" he said firmly, Simba and Nala just rolled they eyes from annoyance.
"Oh man" Simba said in complaint and his fun being spoiled. Now they were going to get into trouble when they hadn't even seen anything there.
"We're way out of the pride lands" Zazuu said as he kept looking around, with a worried expression.
"Look, Banana beck's scared" Simba joked to Nala next to him.
"That's MR Banana beck to you" Zazuu corrected angrily and he poked Simba in the nose.
"Em, Mr Zazuu, your not really helping your self" Kagome said to him shyly.
"Oh, don't you 'Mr Zazuu' me, you're in an equal amount of trouble Kagome and you Nala" he said to the two lioness cubs, pointing at each of them. He then looked around again and flapped his wings to get Nala and Simba to move back again. "Right now we're all in grave danger"
"Danger?" Simba said and he walked past Zazuu and to the opening of the skull. "I walk on the wild side, I laugh in the face of danger, Ha, ha, ha" he bellowed the end of Ha to make an echo.
"HA, Ha, ha!" but what they heard wasn't an echo. Simba became frighten and joined back with the group as three hyenas came out of the skull laughing. "Well, well, well Bansai, what have we got here?" said the female as she looked to the one behind her.
"I don't know Shenzi, what do you think Ed?" the hyena called Bansai replied to 'Shenzi' as he looked to the last hyena who gave a no understandable response. "Just what I was thinking" he said after the other finished. "A couple of trespassers"
"And quite by accident I can assure you, a simple navigational error" Zazuu lied to them.
"Who, wait, wait, I know you" Shenzi said as she shook her head towards Zazuu, "you Mufasa's little stooge"
"I, Madame, am the king's major-domo" Zazuu corrected her with pride in his voice as he did it.
"And that would make you...?" Bansai said as the three of them circled the group of four.
"The future King!" Simba said as he glared at the three, trying to make himself look big and brave to intimate them away. However it wasn't working.
"Do you know what we do to kings who step out of their kingdom?" Shenzi countered as she gave him an evil grin.
"Puh, you can't do anything to me"
"Em Simba, technically they can, we are on their land" Kagome butt in before her brother got himself in even more trouble with the hyenas.
"Smart cub" Shenzi said with a smirk.
"But Kagome, Zazu told me they are nothing but slobbery, mangy stupid poachers" Simba said confused and Kagome looked at her brother in disbelief. He did not just say that in front of them.
"Ix-nay on the upid-stay..." Zazuu whispered to Simba and he looked at the three nervously.
"Who you calling upid-stay?" Bansai snapped at the hornbill.
"Oh, my, my, my, look at the sun, it's time to go!" Zazuu changed the subject and started to go though a gap between Ed and Bansai, the Cubs following with Nala at the back.
"What's the hurry? We'd love you to stick around for dinner" Shenzi said as she blocked their path away.
"Yeah" Bansai said and he grinned at the group "We could have whatever's 'lion' around" he joked and all three started laughing.
"Oh wait, wait, wait, I got one, I got one. Make mine a 'cub' sandwich, whatcha think?" Shenzi said excitedly to her fellow hyenas. However what she didn't see was that Simba, Nala, Kagome and Zazuu had snuck pass her and started to run from them. The only one that did notice was Ed. He began to jump around in front of Shenzi pointing where the cubs were.
"What, Ed?" she asked annoyed.
"Hey, did we order this dinner to go?" Bansai asked as he watched the cubs run away.
"No, why?" she asked confused.
"'Cause THERE IT GOES!" and with that all three Hyenas ran after them. Of course it didn't take long for them to catch up. Their legs were longer and they were used to being chased. They had to be by the amount of times they went on the pride lands for food, only to be chased off by King Mufasa. The catch up and decide to just grab the bird. Then maybe the cubs would come back for him. The Cubs didn't notice Zazuu was gone, they just kept running, weaving in and out of all the bones of the dead elephants.
The cubs all ran as fast as they could, Kagome struggling to keep up with the other two. She had always been the slower one out of the three. Zazuu kept in low near her so that he could make sure she wasn't taken by the hyenas. But this lead to him being the one that they took. The three cubes kept running and running will they couldn't hear footsteps behind them.
"Did we lose them?" Kagome asked trying to catch her breath as they stopped for a minute.
"Yeah I think we did" Nala said as she looked around for any sign of the hyenas. However that was when Simba realised someone was missing.
"Where's Zazuu?"
There you go as i said at the top hope you enjoyed it. thinking of doing a time skip form this to when Mufasa comes in and roars at the three silly Hyenas but you guys let me know what you want. Please read and Review and will try to update this story more offend for you all.
