Dan took a few days to himself before he finally went over to Phil's house on Thursday after school. Dan hadn't really spoken to him or even Chris or PJ. He just needed time and space to think about what he was going to say to Phil. He knew that he had to talk to him or it would be too late. He just hoped that everything would be okay afterwards.

Dan took a deep breath as he walked up to Phil's porch. It was around 5 o'clock in the evening on Thursday when Dan finally got the courage to go over to Phil's house. He didn't want to wait any longer to talk to Phil about this.

Dan knocked on the door a few times and waited a few minutes before Phil finally opened the door. "Dan?"

Dan immediately looked up and took a deep breath as he stared at Phil. "Hi," he said quietly.

"Um… what are you doing here?" Phil asked nervously.

"I need to talk to you… it's important," Dan said quickly.

"Can it wait, Dan? I'm kind of filming a video right now," Phil told him.

"Please. If I don't talk to you now then I won't be able to do this again," Dan said.

"What's going on with you lately?" Phil asked. "You've not been yourself…"

"Can we talk out here?" Dan asked nervously.

Phil stood there a few seconds before he finally stepped onto the porch and shut the door. Phil walked over to the swing and sat down; Dan followed him and sat down next to him. He nervously looked over at him.

"I'm sorry I've been ignoring you," Dan mumbled.

"Have I done something wrong?" Phil asked. "I mean… I don't understand what's going on with you,"

"What? No! It's not that you did something wrong. Look, Chris and PJ are right… I need to talk to you about this now before it's too late. And, I know that we've only been hanging out for about two months now but it's like I said before. I feel like I've known you my whole life. You're my best friend and we've spent a lot of time together in the past two months. I've gotten to know you more. You're not just 'AmazingPhil from Youtube' anymore. You're 'Phil Lester my best friend'…"

"Dan, what are you trying to say?" Phil asked.

"I'm saying I don't want to be just friends anymore," he whispered.

"Dan…" Phil said as he stared at him with shock.

"I like you, Phil. I like you a lot. More than just a friend. I-I think I'm in love with you," Dan said. He took a deep breath.

"Are you being serious?" Phil asked with shock.

"Are you really that shocked?" Dan asked. He watched as Phil stood up from the porch. "Phil?" He asked nervously.

Phil reached down and gently pulled Dan up. "We're not talking about this out here," he said before he pulled Dan into his house. They immediately went straight to Phil's bedroom. Phil shut the door and locked it once they were in.

"Phil…" Dan began to say. He was quickly cut off by Phil turning around and immediately kissing him. Dan's eyes went wide with shock. It took him a few seconds before he finally was able to kiss Phil back. "Phil," Dan moaned into the kiss.

Phil finally pulled away a few seconds later. He took a deep breath as he stared at Dan, "why did you wait so long to tell me?"

"I-I didn't know you felt the same way," Dan whispered.

"I've had a huge crush on you the first day I saw you," Phil told him.

"I can't believe I waited so long to tell you this," Dan said. He rolled his eyes, "I was so worried that you wouldn't like me back and that our friendship would be ruined if I told you how I felt about you,"

"You should have told me. I mean, I totally understand why you wanted to wait. We have only been hanging out for two months which isn't really that long and we shouldn't rush into anything. But, we have gotten to know each other just like you said. I'm just… I'm glad that you told me about this now. But, what are we going to do?" Phil asked.

"Do you want to think about it first before we make anything official or something? I mean… make sure this is what you absolutely want? Because I already know what I want but I don't know what you want. I've done plenty of thinking the past couple days and if I'm being honest, my brain hurts from thinking so much," Dan said.

Phil laughed and shook his head. "I don't need to think about it. I know what I want and I want you," he whispered.

Dan blushed and looked away from him, not knowing what else to say.

"Dan," Phil whispered. He reached over and gently grabbed Dan's chin, making him look up again. He took a deep breath as he stared at Dan. "Will you be my boyfriend?" He asked nervously.

Dan couldn't help but smile. "Are you kidding? I would love to!" Dan yelled excitedly.

"Then we're officially dating!" Phil yelled as he threw his arms up.

"How does it feel to know that you were my first kiss?" Dan asked.

"I feel honored," Phil said. "But, to be honest, I'm shocked you've never kissed anyone before."

Dan rolled his eyes. "Oh, please. Are you kidding me? The only other people, besides you of course; that I'm comfortable with talking to are Chris and PJ! I'm so socially awkward; do you really expect me to be able to kiss someone?" He asked. He sighed and then he looked up at Phil again and smiled, "but I'm glad you were my first kiss. I just… I can't believe after two months were actually dating. I just hope people don't think that we're rushing into a relationship."

Phil frowned and shook his head. "Don't pay attention to what others say. It's our life and if we wanna be in a relationship then so be it. It's not going to affect anyone else's life in any way," he said.

Dan smiled as he stared at Phil. He wrapped his arms around him and hugged him tightly.

It was the next morning when Dan and Phil had gotten to school. Dan was nervous about what people were going to say about him and Phil being a couple now. Sure, most people accepted Chris and PJ and there were some other students who were gay as well and most people left them alone, but there were still those bullies in the school.

"Are you okay, Dan?" Dan was quickly shaken out of his thoughts when he heard Phil's voice.

He looked up at Phil and slowly nodded. "I'm just a little nervous, that's all," he said as they walked up to the school.

"Hey, there's nothing to be nervous. We're going to be fine, just don't give in to the bullies," Phil told him. He reached down and gently grabbed a hold of Dan's hand and held onto it, pulling him slightly closer.

Dan smiled as he held onto Phil's hand. "I know as long as I'll have you I'll be okay," he said.

"I'm not going anywhere, don't worry," he said.

Dan and Phil had to stop at their lockers before they finally went to History class. They walked in, still holding hands. They had already gotten glances and stares and people were already whispering about them. It didn't surprise them at all so they weren't really bothered by it. Rumors spread around this school quickly. Dan was only worried about the bullies.

Dan looked up as they walked into History class and smiled when he saw PJ sitting at the tables already, but with no Chris. PJ looked over and raised his eyebrows when he saw Dan and Phil holding hands.

"This was something I wasn't expecting to see," PJ said as he watched Dan and Phil walk over to their seats.

"It happened last night," Phil told him.

"Where's Chris at? Is he not coming to school?" Dan asked as he and Phil took their seats.

"No. He's skipping today because he stayed up late last night and didn't get any sleep," PJ said. He rolled his eyes.

"What an idiot," Dan said. He laughed and shook his head.

"I've only been here two months and he's skipped school at least 10 times already. I swear, that boy is going to get in trouble for skipping school so much, one of these days," Phil said.

"Yeah, I've tried telling him that. He doesn't care," PJ said. He sighed, "So, are you two a couple now?"

"Yes," Dan smiled proudly, "Turns out I didn't have to wait so long because Phil felt the same way."

"Told you so," PJ sang. He looked over at Dan and smiled innocently. He laughed when he saw Dan roll his eyes. "But hey, I'm happy for you two. You guys are literally made for each other."

"Thanks PJ. I would have never been able to tell Phil without you," Dan said.

"Well, in that case, you're welcome…" PJ laughed, and then he let out a sigh and looked over at Dan again, "and don't worry about the jerks in this school because I know that's what you're worried about, Dan. Sure, they'll give you a hard time at first because that's what they like to do… but I mean, eventually they'll get tired of it and if they don't stop then just go to the principal like Chris and I did and they'll make sure everything stops." He said.

"Yeah, hopefully we won't have to worry about that. I don't need any more bullies in my life," Phil said.

"So, are we still on for this weekend then?" PJ asked, changing the subject.

"Of course! Is Chris still coming too?" Dan asked.

"Yeah. He just wanted to get some sleep. He said he's still coming," PJ said.

"I can't believe this is going to be the first time we hang out as a foursome," Dan said.

"But I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun," Phil said, smiling.

"Of course it will be!" Dan exclaimed. He looked over at Phil and smiled.

Dan was very much so looking forward to this weekend. He was going to spend two whole days with three of his best friends and now his boyfriend. He had been looking forward for this for quite a while now. It was going to be a fun weekend.
