Lolololololol.

Lukas and Squirtle had some good times on the road to Cerulean City. They had won every battle against other trainers and felt ready to win. Lukas had evolved Kakuna into Beedrill and captured a Nidorino! The group arrived at the destination of their second gym battle and entered the gym.

"I have come to challenge the Gym Leader!" Lukas shouted.

"Well here I am." Misty said from the other side of the room. "Are you sure you can defeat me?"

"I know I can, GO NIDORINO!" Lukas threw the ball which released the purple Pokemon.

"Hm, very well then, I choose Staryu!" The red eyed star landed on the arena. "Oh one more thing," The arena suddenly split open leaving the Pokemon in a pool on platforms scattered in the water. "We are battling on my turf."

"Nidorino, use Tackle!" Nidorino jumped from platform to platform and crashed into the Staryu.

"Staryu, dive now!" Misty ordered. Staryu dove down into the water and jumped out on the other side spinning fast and knocking Nidorino into the water. After this attack Staryu collapsed from exhaustion. Both trainers returned their defeated Pokemon.

"Go Beedrill!" Lukas sent out the green bug type which sparkled when leaving the pokeball.

"Go Starmie!" Instead, a yellow duck came out of the ball. "PSYDUCK! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! NOT NOW!!!!!!!!" Psyduck tilted his head in confusion at his fuming trainer.

"Beedrill, use Twineedle!" Beedrill looked down at the duck with a headache and stabbed him with both his arms. Psyduck squealed in pain and forced himself back into his pokeball.

"How embarrassing!" Misty said. "Now I have a headache!" This time Starmie actually came out of the ball. "Use Water Gun and save my sanity..." Misty said. Starmie shot a blast of water at Beedrill who dodged it.

"Use Poison Sting!" Lukas said. Beedrill's attack missed.

"Use Psychic!" Starmie created a purple blast that knocked out Beedrill.

"Okay Pidgey, take it down!"

Pidgey flew into the battlefield and slammed into Starmie which barely moved.

"Counter with Tackle!" Misty ordered. Starmie knocked away Pidgey which started glowing. The bird Pokemon changed shape as he became Pidgeotto.

"Yes! Pidgey, you evolved! Show them your power and use Peck!" Pidgeotto slammed its beak into Starmie's red core and knocked it out.

Hm, that last minute evolution couldn't of been any more cliche. Misty thought to herself. "Well, you beat me, here's the Cascade Badge Misty said." A Seel swam up and handed Lukas a raindrop shaped badge.

As Lukas left the gym he saw Brock standing there.

"Hey Lukas." Brock said.

"What are you doing here?" Lukas asked.

"I needed to speak with Misty." He replied.

"Hey Brock, what's wrong?" Misty asked leaving the gym.

"Team Rocket is attacking trainers near Cerulean City, I came to help take care of it." Brock said.

"Understood, I will tell Surge to keep an eye out for them, I will come assist shortly." Misty said running back into the gym.

"Team Rocket? I can help!" Lukas said.

"You were able to help at Mt. Moon but this time I'm not so sure." Brock replied.

"What's the difference."

"There's always a difference when the Rocket Insurgency is involved."

"The Rocket who?"

"The Rocket Insurgency are elite members of Team Rocket that usually are sent to take care of trainers that cause trouble for them, you wouldn't stand a chance against them, stay here for your own safety." Brock said.

"Fine." Lukas replied and went to the Pokemon center.

Later that day

Lukas and Squirtle were trying to figure out what to do when they heard a familiar voice.

"Dan? What are you doing here?" Lukas asked.

"Lukas! You are in danger! There's a Team Rocket agent-" Dan was interrupted.

"No need to introduce me." A woman said.

Dan and Lukas looked around and saw her.

"Allow me to introduce myself," she said, "I am Agent Zeta."
