Chapter 3 - Happy Birthday

Kimiko had gotten up early, glad that NEITHER her or Devitt had any WWE-related things to do. Devitt was still sound asleep.
Kimiko had gotten the stuff to do the 'mega' omelets that Devitt liked but she figured she'd wait until he actually woke up to do those. She'd decided to do a British coffee cake for his birthday since she'd yet to figure out what flavor cake was his favorite...he seemed to just eat whatever she sat in front of him. She'd considered on a couple occasions...messing with him by giving him something REALLY disgusting BUT she enjoyed the trust he had in her and so she'd decided against it. He'd requested curry bread since apparently, he liked that even more then the 'mega' omelets...so she was planning to fix that too. - What the hell was she thinking getting up early? There wasn't a DAMN THING she'd be fixing that she needed to be up early for!
Kimiko was also quite interested in Devitt's reaction once he actually decided to open his damn present. It actually irritated her that he'd still put it off until his birthday DESPITE what he'd told her her first night in NXT.
Once Devitt finally woke up, he was getting ready for his shower when he heard, 'Good morning, birthday boy'. Devitt whispered, 'Not today, Balor'. 'I wasn't planning to do anything today. It's YOUR day. You don't sound happy though'. Devitt said, 'I just want to sleep'. Sounding concerned, 'Fergal'? Devitt said, 'You said you weren't going to do anything today, so please...JUST LEAVE ME ALONE'!
After Devitt came out to the living room, Kimiko said, 'Mornin', birthday boy'. Devitt said, 'Good morning, Kimiko'. Kimiko asked, 'You ready for an omelet'? Devitt forced himself to smile and said, 'Of course. What's breakfast with you around without them'?
Kimiko had fixed Devitt his omelet and had given it to him. After fixing her own, she came back out of the kitchen...she noticed really all Devitt was doing was picking at his...having barely eaten a bite, and Kimiko asked kind of concerned, 'Are you okay? NORMALLY you love them'! Devitt said with NO enthusiasm in his voice, 'Yeah, it's fine'.
After spending an hour watching Devitt pick at his omelet, only occasionally taking a bite...she asked, 'Are you SURE everything is okay'? Devitt shook his head and AGAIN said with NO enthusiasm in his voice, 'I'm fine. It's fine. Everything's fine, Kimiko'!
Later that day, Kimiko went and got the present since Devitt had spent most of the day staring a blank TV screen with an equally blank expression on his face. When Devitt didn't even look at it, Kimiko sat it in his lap, and said, 'Come on, open it! It's your birthday, there's NO reason NOT to'! Devitt still didn't acknowledge ANYTHING! Kimiko put one hand on each of Devitt's cheeks, basically FORCING HIM to look at her, and said, 'Dammit, Devitt! What's wrong? You've been telling me EVERYTHING'S fine all fucking day...it obviously isn't'! Devitt may have been looking at her but he wasn't acknowledging her. Kimiko threw her hands up and said, 'Fine! Maybe I'd have better luck talking to Balor...you're an asshole'! Kimiko turned and took a couple steps to the kitchen when she felt something collide with the back of her head. Spinning around, looking at the present that had been thrown at her, and then at Devitt, he said, 'Take it back! I don't fucking want it'! It hurt but Kimiko REFUSED to show it.
Kimiko was standing in the kitchen, with the present sat next to the stove, and just didn't understand what was going on. She KNEW that HE KNEW that it was Lego, Devitt LOVED Lego so what the fuck? What he still didn't know was that it wasn't JUST Lego and the OTHER part cost a hell of a lot more then that Lego set did! He'd barely spoke ALL DAY and then when he does saying something beyond, 'Oh, it's fine'!...he's angry at her. What did she do?
'What are you doing, Fergal'? Devitt ignored the voice. 'Fergal? She loves you! Why are you - ' Devitt cut the voice off by yelling, 'It wasn't ME dammit! It was ALWAYS YOU! ALWAYS, ALWAYS YOU'! Balor fell silent because he finally understood Devitt's behavior. - Kimiko walked into the living room and couldn't resist laughing as she asked, 'What'? Devitt didn't say a word. Kimiko took a couple steps closer to Devitt and asked, 'You're jealous'? Still not a word from Devitt. Kimiko asked, 'Why'? Devitt sat back down on the couch and said, 'Because it's the truth. HE saved you! NOT me! You've ALWAYS loved the person who saved you and THAT wasn't me'. Kimiko asked, 'And'? Devitt asked, 'What do you mean AND'? Kimiko said, 'Devitt, Balor may want me to eventually be his queen...but...he also knows I feel differently about YOU and HIM'. Devitt shouted, 'I KNOW THAT'! Kimiko shook her head and said, 'Yeah, but you have it backwards'. Devitt was confused and asked, 'How'? Kimiko said, 'Yeah, BALOR saved me...but...it's ALWAYS been YOU'! Still confused Devitt asked, 'Why'? Kimiko closed the distance between them and said, 'Because honestly, I've yet to see ANYTHING from Balor beyond cruelty and lust. And, I KNOW he's cruel to you even if he does have to keep you alive'. Devitt couldn't resist asking, 'And, what have you seen from ME'? Kimiko said, 'You're kind, funny, gentle...sure you can be mean and hurtful too BUT that's being human'. Devitt said, 'You saw Balor's rare show of kindness when you cried your eyes out on his shoulder after HE'D saved you'. Kimiko rolled his eyes and said, 'As YOU said, RARE show of kindness'. Devitt reached for the present that Kimiko had in her right hand which took her by surprise and he said, 'I guess I need to figure out what THIS is EXACTLY'. Devitt sat down on the couch and gently began unwrapping the present, Kimiko asked, 'You're careful with wrapping paper YOU like, too'? Devitt said, 'Yes. It's a habit of my childhood'.
As Devitt finished unwrapping his present, he looked at her, and couldn't resist smiling, he asked, 'WHERE did you get this? I've got MOST of the rare sets. But, THIS one...I have had NO luck finding'! Kimiko laughed and said, 'One of the women that I competed against in Japan has a brother who EXCLUSIVELY collects Star Wars Lego's...I KNEW you still needed the Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon so we worked out a deal'. Devitt said, 'Well, I'm glad you did'. Devitt started to remove the wrapping paper from UNDER the box and Kimiko quickly said, 'Just lift the box'! Devitt lifted the box, looked at the three comics in their protective covers, looked at Kimiko, back at the comics, back at Kimiko, and couldn't come up with A THING to say. Kimiko asked, 'Well, do you like them'? Devitt asked, 'Where...HOW did you get these? They're EXPENSIVE! A TOTAL OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, JUST FOR THESE THREE EXPENSIVE'! Kimiko rubbed the back of her neck and said, 'Well, it took me from the time I met you and found out that THOSE were some of the comics you eventually wanted to have...until my contract expired at the end of last year...AND I talked to Paul after I'd officially signed with NXT about an advance which is why I'm not even getting my first paycheck until...well, sometime in 2017...it took ALL THAT to pay them off...but it was worth it...as long as YOU like them'. He smiled and said, 'Hell yeah, Detective Comics #27, Amazing Fantasy #15, and Action Comics #1...I LOVE THEM'! Kimiko smiled and said, 'I'm glad'.
Devitt put his Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon with his other RARE Lego sets, keeping the RARE sets separate from the ORDINARY sets, put his three comics with the rest of his rather small collection of comics, and thought, 'I need a display case for these three'. 'Do you think she meant to say what she did about her not even getting a paycheck until 2017'? Devitt whispered, 'Not a chance! Money isn't something she discusses, so her admitting THAT...there is NO WAY IN HELL she meant to say that'! 'Did you know Paul did stuff like that'? Devitt whispered, 'No. He must have A LOT of confidence in her future if he was willing to give her...THAT much an advance though'. 'Where do you think she was going to be staying if you HADN'T offered to let her stay with her'? Devitt shook his head and whispered, 'I'd prefer NOT thinking about that'. 'I don't want to either'. Devitt whispered, 'That would explain how come she's been using my bank and credit cards though, she doesn't have any money of her own'.
As Kimiko was fixing the curry bread, Devitt asked, 'How did you get the Millennium Falcon if you were already paying for the comics'? Kimiko shrugged and said, 'I built the guy a custom gaming computer'. Devitt asked, 'YOU can build computers'? Kimiko said, 'Build, program, fix...yeah'. Devitt asked, 'So if I ever have a problem with my laptop, you could fix it'? Kimiko said, 'As long as it isn't fried, yes'.
As Kimiko and Devitt ate the curry bread, Devitt asked, 'You want to know something, Kimiko'? Kimiko looked at him but said nothing. Devitt laughed and said, 'I don't even like curry'. Kimiko looked hurt and Devitt said, 'BUT, I LOVE THIS'! Kimiko smiled.
After they were finished with the curry bread, Kimiko started on the British coffee cake and Devitt asked, 'Where did you learn to cook'? Kimiko said, 'I took classes in high school and one of my teachers in college taught me a few dishes that might appeal to someone...from the UK'. Devitt said, 'The Republic of Ireland ISN'T part of the UK...we're part of the EU but not the UK'. Kimiko asked, 'Would you like the batter on your head, Devitt'? Devitt shook his head and said, 'No'. Kimiko said, 'Then quit nitpicking'!
Kimiko had a single solitary piece of British coffee cake once it was finished. Devitt ate half of the cake in one sitting.
After the food had had time to settle, Kimiko said, 'There is one OTHER part to your birthday'. Devitt shook his head and said, 'Please, NO MORE FOOD! I'm stuffed! And, if you have any OTHER presents...you have already spent WAY TO MUCH on me! At least for ONLY ONE birthday'! Kimiko smiled and shook her head, she said, 'It isn't food and it didn't cost me ANYTHING'! Devitt asked, 'Then what is it'? Kimiko asked, 'Balor's keeping his nose out your business right now, isn't he'? Devitt said, 'Overall. Why'? Kimiko said, 'Because if he plans to...take over...you aren't getting it'. Devitt's eyes turned red and he asked, 'You're planning to fuck him'? Devitt's eyes returned to blue and he shouted, 'Balor'! Kimiko smirked and said, 'Well, he's right'. Devitt's eyes turned red again and he said, 'If you're wanting time alone with him, I'll stay out of it...THIS time...it is HIS birthday'. Devitt's eyes returned to blue again and he said, 'It's up to you whether you believe him or not'. Kimiko asked, 'Would YOU'? Devitt said, 'He DOES tend to give me more...privacy...on my birthday'.
Kimiko closed the distance between them, put her right hand behind Devitt's head, leaned in, and kissed him. Devitt thought, 'BAD idea! I don't think she'd like me doing THAT'! She pulled back and put her right hand under his shirt, slowly running her fingers over his abs. Devitt thought, 'BALOR wouldn't be happy either. He has a lust for sex...but THAT'S NOT something he wants me doing'. Kimiko lifted Devitt's shirt and had her hands on his shoulders, he lifted his arms, and she finished removing his shirt. Devitt put his hands under Kimiko's shirt, lifting her shirt, he unclasped her bra, Kimiko removed her shirt and bra, Devitt putting his hands on Kimiko's breasts, and Kimiko's back stiffened. Devitt slid his hands to Kimiko's lower back and leaned in to kiss the left side of her neck, she raised her head, he kissed her throat, pulled back, and asked, 'Would you mind me trying something a little...different'? Kimiko was curious but said, 'You aren't tying me up'! Devitt laughed and said, 'No. No! No'. Kimiko said, 'Okay, then sure'. Leading Kimiko to the bedroom, he could feel Balor's curiosity, but he knew he was about to feel Balor's anger even if Balor DIDN'T do anything. Devitt unbuttoned Kimiko's jeans, unzipped them, slid his hands between Kimiko's underwear and skin, and slid his hands down. Devitt put his right hand on Kimiko's chest and pushed her back on the bed. Kimiko wondered just WHAT Devitt was planning but she trusted him so she DIDN'T question him. Devitt thought, 'Balor made me feel like I was being choked last time I did this and he said he'd make me suffer NEXT time I did it, is it REALLY worth risking'? Devitt was standing between Kimiko's legs and said, 'I love you'. Kimiko propped herself up with her right elbow and saw Devitt's blue eyes and couldn't come up with a word to say, Balor and Devitt BOTH loved her! She couldn't figure out if THAT was good or bad. Devitt dropped to his knees, he leaned forward, slowly ran his tongue over Kimiko's clitoris, and she jerked...she had NOT been expecting THAT. Devitt continued to run his tongue over Kimiko's clitoris and she said, 'Ermmm...I like this'. As Devitt continued running his tongue over Kimiko's clitoris, he felt Balor's anger. - Balor had NEVER seemed to understand that it WASN'T ALWAYS about HIS gratification, personally Devitt thought it was a deeper way to show someone love without it ALWAYS being about HIS pleasure, but Balor had ALWAYS HATED it because he felt NOTHING from it. Balor wouldn't have minded someone performing orally on HIM BUT THAT'S something Devitt didn't like. Balor had used self-gratification as a form of punishment with Devitt on SO MANY occasions that he didn't even like being TOUCHED there anymore. - Devitt started running his tongue over Kimiko's clitoris faster and Kimiko crossed her ankles behind Devitt's head. Devitt started running his tongue over Kimiko's clitoris even faster, Kimiko grabbed the back of Devitt's head with both her hands and dug her nails into his scalp. Devitt could tell she was close and decided to quicken his tongue. Kimiko's back bowed as she orgasmed and she dug her nails deeper into Devitt's scalp. - Devitt decided not to stop though and kept going. - NORMALLY, he would have stopped but while Kimiko was obviously enjoying what he was doing, Balor was getting madder by the moment, and Devitt was LOVING EVERY MOMENT of it! - Kimiko orgasming MULTIPLE more times and was digging her nails deeper into Devitt's scalp each time before Devitt finally stopped and stood up, Kimiko in tears and breathing heavily.
Devitt walked into his bathroom to brush his tongue. - Looking in the mirror with the toothbrush in his mouth, seeing NO visible sign of Balor despite Balor's ANGER was thrilling!
Devitt came back into his bedroom, got on his hands on knees on his bed so he was facing Kimiko who had her legs hanging off the other side. She was still breathing heavily but Devitt asked, 'Did you like it'? Kimiko said once she could catch her breathe, 'Yes. But, what kind of birthday present was THAT for YOU'? Devitt said, 'It's not ALWAYS about me'. Kimiko sat up, spun around to where she had her legs tucked under her and was facing Devitt, Devitt tucked his legs under him, and asked, 'What'? Kimiko put her left hand behind Devitt's head and kissed Devitt. - Devitt wasn't understanding WHY she was doing that, there was NO WAY she wanted MORE. - Kimiko had her right hand on Devitt's stomach, he didn't think much of it, he figured she was just going to run her fingers over his abs...a habit she had. Instead, her right hand started to drift toward his jeans, he grabbed her wrist, pulled back, shook his head, and said, 'No'. - Kimiko was confused by Devitt's reaction, THAT AND THE GRIP he had on her wrist. - Devitt said, 'Just don't'! Kimiko asked, 'What's the problem? Would you prefer something similar to what YOU did to ME'? Devitt shook his head and said, 'No'. Kimiko looked down. Devitt said, 'Kimiko, I don't like being touched THERE! Balor has me do THAT to myself as a mild punishment and I just don't like be touched there anymore'.

The next day
Kimiko woke up and saw Devitt sitting with his legs tucked under him with her nails digging at his throat and he was saying, 'Stop'! The way he spoke sounded like...his...like he was...being strangled. Kimiko quickly sat up and then rushed over to Devitt's side, kneeling down at his side, she asked, 'Devitt'? He said weakly, 'Please! Stop'! Kimiko saw a glimpse of Devitt's eyes and thought, 'PURPLE'?! Kimiko demanded, 'Balor, enough'! Devitt collapsed onto his left side but he wasn't clawing at his throat anymore. Kimiko watched as the scratches healed but the blood remained.
Devitt sat back up after he'd caught his breath, he revealed a knife that he'd pretty much been sitting on. Devitt pleaded, 'Balor, don't'! Devitt stabbed himself in the stomach, Kimiko's eyes went wide, he held the knife there for a couple moments before removing it. Kimiko watched as the stab wound healed. Devitt stabbed himself in the stomach AGAIN. He did this a total of SIX times, each time waiting until the wound healed before stabbing himself again. Kimiko watched in horror.
Devitt started to stab himself in the stomach a seventh time but before the tip even made it to his skin, he pleaded, 'My king, please - ' Devitt looked surprised but he dropped the knife. Devitt sat up on his knees, unbuttoned and unzipped his pants, lowered his jeans and underwear to his knees. Devitt took hold of the knife again and laid flat on his stomach, he said with tears in his eyes and a cracking voice, 'Don't do this'! Kimiko watched in horror AND disgust as Devitt used the knife to rape himself. Kimiko ended up screaming through tears of her own, 'Balor, stop! Please'! - Once Devitt was finished, he dropped the knife again, and waited a minute before standing up and pulling his underwear and pants back up, buttoning and zipping them. He reached down and picked the knife up again. Kimiko stood up and said, 'Balor, you're going to kill him if you don't stop this shit'! Devitt laughed and Kimiko asked, 'Devitt'? Devitt looked at Kimiko and Kimiko saw his blue eyes and let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding.
Kimiko asked, 'Do you think he could heal you if you got stabbed in the heart'? Devitt said, 'I don't -' His eyes changed to purple and he said, 'Let's find out'! Kimiko and Devitt both screamed, 'No'! as Devitt plunged the knife up into his heart. Devitt held the knife there a moment before collapsing onto his right side with the knife still lounged in his chest. Kimiko knelt down next to Devitt and asked VERY concerned, 'Devitt'? No response. Kimiko asked even MORE concerned, 'Balor'? Devitt weakly said, 'Ta...take it...it..out'. Kimiko was surprised and about screeched when she asked, 'What'?! No response. - She didn't know whether Devitt or Balor had been the one to say that but either way, it TERRIFIED her! - Kimiko took hold of the knife with her right hand, put her left hand above where the knife was stuck in Devitt's chest, and pulled the knife out.
It was SEVERAL minutes before Devitt slowly sat up, leaned his head on Kimiko's right shoulder, and started to cry, 'It hurts! It hurts'! Kimiko wrapped her arms around Devitt's waist and said, 'Shhh...it's okay now, Devitt'. Kimiko placed her left hand on Devitt's head and slowly ran her hand over his hair repeatedly as she kept repeating, 'Shhh...it's okay now, Devitt'.
Before they went to bed that night, Devitt explained to Kimiko about WHY Balor had put him through hell that morning. It was a MUTUAL decision that THAT COULDN'T happen AGAIN! As it was, it about broke Devitt psychologically and they BOTH knew it!
