At the temple, Toon Link was waiting for Link to continue his training.
"Where is Link?" wondered Toon "He should have been here by now,"
Suddenly out of nowhere, Ike and Samus appeared appeared on the temple
"Toon!" shouted Samus
"Ah, hi guys," replied Toon
"We have something to tell you," said Ike
"Would you like to hear one of my many stories?" asked Toon Link
"No actually we-"
"Perhaps you'd like to here the one about the Wind Waker or the Spirit Tracks or maybe the Hourglass?"
"Um...Toon we..."
"Or maybe you'd like to hear a song?"
"Um..."
"Really, OK here I go," said Toon who started singing
"Toon!" shouted Samus "Stop singing,"
But the swordsman just ignored her and continued.
"Toon!"
"Toon!"
"Toon, Toon, Toon, Toon, Toon, Toon, Toon, Toon, Toon, Toon, Toon, Toon, Toon, TOON!"
"I'm sorry, was I singing out of tune?" asked Toon Link
"No it's just-"
"Ah, I shall continue," said Toon
"Toon, we don't wanna hear any stories, songs, poems or eat Hylian chicken!" shouted Ike
"What's a chicken?" asked Toon
"OK...We have something to tell you," said Samus
"Really," said Toon "Do tell,"
"Well, he goes,"
While Samus and Ike explain everything to Toon Link, Lucas went to Onett to see if Ness was there. His hunch was right, Ness was there in between two houses, it looked as if he was talking to himself. Lucas snuck up behind him and shouted "What are you doing Ness?" Ness screamed and hit him with a bat.
Lucas screamed in agony and shouted "Why'd you do that for?"
"You scared me," replied Ness
"Anyways, we need to get to the temple," said Lucas
"Why?" asked Ness
"It's kinda complicated," said Samus "Ike and Samus can explain further,"
"Ok, if you say so," replied Ness
Lucas and Ness were about to leave when Lucas felt a cold wind blow past him.
"Hmm, that's odd," Lucas said to himself
"Lucas, come on!" shouted Ness
"Coming," said Lucas as he went of with Ness.
