I don't own anything.

"Okay, so maybe I am hiding from Tim Riggins," Julie muttered to Lois, cautiously looking around the corner of the hallway. "Better to be safe than sorry though, right?"

Her friend scoffed and gently pushed her into the busy hallway.

"Julie, seriously. Normally I wouldn't complain about being late to class, but this is ridiculous. It's taking 20 minutes to walk to each room!"

Blowing her blonde bangs out of her eyes in frustration, Julie began to walk at a furious pace down the hall and heard Lois laughing like a maniac, coming up quickly behind her.

"This is your own fault, you know. You played with fire; big, bad Riggins is going to come after you."

She couldn't help but roll her eyes and smile at Lois. "I'm glad you find this so amusing. He was serious, Lois! I'm living in fear. Any moment could be my last."

They walked through the door into the classroom and sat side by side.

"Lois, he makes me nervous." Julie admitted, opening her notebook to the correct page before the teacher ordered them to.

Lois smirked, placing her hand on top of Julie's and gave it a squeeze.

"Jules. If a boy with that face, and that body, and those eyes was chasing after me all over the school, I would be nervous too."

"This feels different to what I had with Matt. What if he just wants me to sleep with him or something?" Julie whispered, not wanting anyone to be able to overhear their conversation. That would be the worst rumor that could spread itself around the school. Her mom would probably lock her up and throw away the key, and it was bad enough that she was still dealing with 90% of the female population at school shooting glares her way and whispering to each other in the hallways.

Julie had managed to get away with being pretty much non-existent for a long amount of time at school and really that's how she liked it. Being the coach's daughter came with a certain amount of attention anyway, so she didn't try to bring anymore attention to herself.

She knew that having this conversation with her mother was not a good idea, and even though Lois was boy-crazy, Julie knew that she would always get an honest answer from her.

Lois smiled kindly at her best friend and gently bumped her shoulder with her own. "Tim wouldn't spend this much time trying to get a girl to sleep with him. You've seen the girls here, they pretty much throw themselves at him. I think he likes you, and I think he wants to spend time with you. So stop worrying."

Julie sighed heavily, feeling somewhat better now that she'd shared her concern about Tim's intentions with her.

"Okay, so maybe he wants to actually spend time together and date or something. But I'm sure he has certain expectations."

"Jules, you need to kiss his face off. And then if he tries anything else, punch him in the throat."

Julie stared wide-eyed at Lois, "God Lois, violent much?"

"But to be perfectly honest," Lois began again, her usual glint of mischief in her eyes, "I'd still be concerned about exactly what Tim is planning on dishing out as punishment."

Julie let her head fall onto the notebook on her desk.

"Oh geez."

To say that Tim was not impressed with Julie would be an understatement. He'd been stuck in that damn bathroom with Lyla for 20 minutes while she ranted on and on about God knows what. He'd managed to zone out and simply nod occasionally in her general direction, instead of listening to her voice he was thinking of ways to punish the girl that had put him in this position in the first place.

Tim thought back on his head resting on Julie's shoulder, her long hair brushing against his face as he breathed in her scent. He still didn't quite understand his fascination with her, he'd always noticed her since the day she started at the school, although it was hard not to pay attention to her.

Julie Taylor was beautiful, blonde and (even though he never thought he'd use the word) she was delicate.

He had been in an unusual mood since the night before, not in the mood to engage in conversations with his friends, constantly keeping an eye on the other students in case he saw the familiar pretty face he was looking for in the crowds.

It was now the end of the school day and he'd had no luck in seeking her out, when he saw her friend walking down the hall.

"Hey Lois!"

The girl jumped at his voice, looking startled. "Uh, yeah? H-Hi Tim."

Tim gave her a roguish smile, "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Have you seen Julie? I need to talk to her about something."

Lois looked like she was having difficulty thinking how to answer his question.

"Um. Yes, I have."

She looked around the hallway, her fingernails tapping on the books in her arms nervously. "Look Tim, if I tell you where she is, you have to promise not to tell her I told you."

Tim smirked, realizing that Jules must've told her the reason why he would be looking for her today. "Scout's honor, Lois."

"She's in the library, helping to put the books away."

"You're the best, Lois" he winked, brushing past her.

Lois watched him walk towards the entrance of the library and didn't know whether to cringe or giggle like an idiot 'Worst. Friend. Ever.'

Humming quietly to herself, Julie was thinking of how much she loved this time spent in the library. Most of the students had left for home or practice by now and the library was quieter than usual, and to be surrounded by books and peace was heaven for her.

She'd been lucky enough to be able to help out the librarians whenever she had to stay back at school to wait for her parents to finish up. They appreciated her help when she was available and knew they could trust her to do a good job, although normally she ended up with a small pile next to her which she'd then take home to work her way through.

She had been successful in her mission to stay away from Tim today, but she had a bad feeling that she wasn't going to be able to keep up this act for much longer. It was a large school, but there's only so much time she can spend hiding in corners, ducking and weaving through the halls every time she thought she spied his ridiculously attractive head.

Standing between the large bookcases towards the back of the library, Julie was currently sorting through the non-fiction section, ensuring that everything was in the correct order and there was no damage to any of the books.

Lost in her own world, she gave a loud gasp as a large hand suddenly gripped her hip and another covered her mouth. A warm body was behind her, pushing her into the bookcase as she thrust back.

"Well, would you look at that," a familiar voice whispered happily in her ear. "Found you, you little brat."

Julie's heart was almost beating out of her chest and she lifted her right foot, stomping hard on Tim's foot which was placed close behind hers.

"Hey, watch it!" Tim laughed, taking his hand from over her mouth now that he knew she wasn't going to scream in fear.

His hands gripped her shoulders and he spun her around quickly, then trapped her between his toned arms to push her back against the bookcase again.

Julie glared up at him, shoving against his hard chest in frustration.

"Tim, you idiot. You scared me to death, I'm working here!" She whispered furiously, trying to put on a brave face.

Tim was smirking down at her, a warm look in his eyes, "You should be a bit nicer to me, Jules. I'm not very happy with you at the moment."

Jules swallowed hard and folder her arms defensively over her chest.

"I think maybe we should discuss this another time, I'm very busy."

Raising an eyebrow in amusement, Tim shifted forward until Julie was completely pinned against the bookcase. He tangled his right hand in her hair, moving it to the back of her head and brought his head down to brush his nose from her jaw to her ear, then nuzzled her neck.

Julie felt her knees almost buckle from his touch and she gripped his t-shirt, balling the fabric into her hands.

"Jules?" Tim muttered, massaging the back of her neck and continuing to rub his face into her soft neck.

"Y-yes, Tim?" Julie's voice was barely audible as his stubble was tickling her neck, she bit her lip and her thumb brushed against the warm skin under his shirt.

"Are you sorry for leaving me to be tortured by Lyla last night?" He questioned, his breath hot on her ear. She felt his tongue touch her earlobe and her breath hitched.

Julie was finding it difficult to concentrate; Tim's big body was so warm against her and with his face so close to hers it was almost torture.

"Umm.." she breathed out, her hands sliding completely under the hem of his shirt; her nails digging into his flesh.

"Say it, Jules. Just say you're sorry," Tim's teeth gave her earlobe a gentle nip. As he heard her quiet gasp, he pushed his hips further into hers and gave the marked spot on her ear a gentle kiss.

Julie knew her breathing was ragged and should have been embarrassed to be pinned against the bookcase in case anyone happened to walk down this way, but her attraction to Tim and feeling him so close was causing butterflies to spread through her stomach and she felt warm all over, wanting to stay like this forever.

Tim was having too much fun. He hadn't really gotten as far as thinking of a plan on how to get her back, he was so caught up with just trying to hunt her down, but after holding Julie's body and scaring her, he couldn't help himself.

"Come on, Julie," his voice soft and coaxing as he placed his left hand on her small waist and squeezed gently. "Say you're sorry and I'll stop."

Julie whimpered as his soft lips pressed against her jaw, spreading light kisses down to her neck as she tried to find her voice.

"I'm...I-oh. Tim..."

Tim normally would have found her struggle for words amusing, but he was focusing so much on her scent and skin that he could barely pay attention to anything else.

He scraped his teeth down the sweet skin on her neck, swapping between punishing her with gentle nips and kisses.

"Juuulie," his voice sang, and she could feel the smile on his face. "Two little words, I know you can manage that."

Even his teasing words were causing her to bite her bottom lip. Her small hands threading through his hair, Julie's fingers massaged his scalp and pulled him closer into her neck.

"I'm sorry," Julie whispered, releasing a small cry as Tim sucked the flesh from her neck into his mouth and bit down.

"See, Jules," Tim muttered against her skin, "That wasn't so hard was it?"

Feeling Julie's fingernails press into his head, Tim began to suck harder on his new favorite spot on her neck. He knew he should stop, she was going to have a huge mark on her skin from what he was doing but the sounds she was making in his ear was driving him crazy.

With a sudden movement, Tim's face was in front of her own and they stared into each other's eyes, both breathing heavily. Nudging his nose against hers, Julie's lips parted and brushed against the side of his mouth.

Pushing her bangs off her forehead, Tim ran his fingers through the top of Julie's hair and rested his forehead against hers.

"Jesus, kid," Tim breathed out.

Julie looked up into his eyes, resting her open palms against his chest as their bodies parted slightly.

"Julie," a stern voice called. "What on earth are you doing?"

"Mom..."

A/N - Okay, you can all yell at me. Go ahead, I'll give you a minute to vent your frustrations on my lack of updating.

I think that was good for all of us haha

So sorry for my lack of updates. This story is going in a different direction to what it was originally meant to be, I feel like the first chapter (the original one-shot) doesn't really work with the story anymore, but oh well!

Hope you're all well x
