Followed by the sight of her hair, was the site of the man and the woman who had been trying to kill them all along. Layla and Steven both with their guns pointed at Natalie. Steven was screaming.

"I'm gonna kill you, so I guess now you can know what really happened to Mitch, he wasn't a coward, he was going to tell everyone that I was leaking information so I burned him alive, and no one will ever know" Steven Albright smirked so sure that his plan would work, with Layla by his side, why wouldn't it? Just then what he didn't expect at all happened, suddenly Adrian Monk rolled over to where Natalie was huddled in the corner and covered her completely from the sight of the murderers.

"No you're not, you'll kill me and when she hears the shot it will distract you when she runs" Suddenly Adrian felt a hand over his shoulder.

"Please don't do this Mr. Monk" He turned his head closer to her and smiled.

"It's okay Natalie I know what I'm doing" she didn't believe him, but darn he was good at the hero stuff.

"You are going to kill me" Adrian repeated himself and raised his voice a little. Then without warning Stottlemeyer and several other police men burst through the door.

"Police you're under arrest" Leland said as he slapped his handcuffs on Steven.

"I was starting to worry" Mr. Monk raised an eyebrow as his friend arrested the two murderers. Natalie let out a nervous laugh of relief.

"Oh so you had a plan?" She asked Adrian as he turned to her.

"Don't I always"

"In a way you do your little, here's what happened thing, and sometimes it includes a plan"

"So she was alive and you knew this?" Leland asked Adrian angrily.

"She told me not to tell"

"You were always too weak to say no to a beautiful woman" Natalie blushed at Leland's words and Adrian tried looking surprised. However when faking things he's not too good at them especially emotions. Natalie smirked.

"ha, ha you can't deny it" She smirked again as she nudged him. He smiled at her a nice big smile one she only saw when he was acting like a child.
