"Ugh, is this the fastest this thing can go?!" Kelly groans. Sam yawns while looking at the two setting suns and shrugs.

They'd been traveling for about twenty minutes, following some map John had found. Now they were starting to have their doubts, well Kelly and Sam at least. Linda and John yelling strange things from the top level.

'Man, I'm so fucking bored...' She leans back and sighs.

A sudden loud explosion rocks the behemoth vehicle, jostling its occupants. A mongoose falls out of the bottom level.

"WHAT THE FUCK?! JOHN!" Kelly roars, getting her bearing. "It wasn't me!" John yells back, righting the vehicle once again.

"Is everyone okay?" asks Sam in concern.

"Yeah, everything's ok! We just drove over a landmine!" Linda screams in pure excitement. A little too excited to Sam and Kelly.

"A LANDMINE?! PUT ON THE FUCKING BRAKES!" Kelly screams and leaps to the driver level and rips Johns hands away from the controls.

"Kelly!" Linda yells and pushes Kelly away from the controls. John steps back, unsure of what was happening. He turns his head back and forth between the two.

"How do you stop this thing?" Demands Kelly, looking in John's direction.

"You pull this lever…I think." He says not too confidently.

She pulls the lever and the vehicle stops suddenly. "What?" She asks, crossing her arms. "I just wanted to find the treasure." John says sullenly, his head lowered. Kelly looks at John for a long moment. "Damn it John." She yells, then jumps down to the level below.

John perks up and goes back to the controls, looking at the map again and realizes that it was to avoid all the landmines. He didn't want to face that he has been reading it wrong the entire time. He shrugged it off after a few moments. Mistakes happen.

Kelly came back up, her hands on her hips. "Good news, we now know how to avoid the landmines!" John chirped. "Oh goody." She snapped. "The bad news is this thing is way too slow, like we can walk faster than this thing." John said. "Damn it!" Kelly shouted, punching the wall, it was a stealth mission after all and this thing was a dead giveaway.

"All right, we go back to the original plan!" Sam says over the coms. John sighs and downloads the landmine map before hopping down, spraying Linda with sand as he landed. She kicked some sand back on him. Before long the two were having an all-out sand fight. "He's rubbing off on her." Kelly commented irritably. Sam shrugged and exited the massive vehicle as well. "That's enough you two, stick to the mission." Sam said.

"He started it!" Linda whined as John threw another fistful of sand at her. "Knock it off John!" Kelly snapped. Linda stuck her tongue out, though no one else saw it. "We'll settle this later." John said with a laugh. Linda shouldered her rifle and got her focus back on the mission.

"We've been wandering for hours!" Kelly snapped, hating when something was amiss. "Are you sure about the info you got from that confession?" Sam asked. "Certain." John said as he made a trail with his rifle in the sand. "What are you doing?" Kelly demanded. John snickered as he looked back at the long trail between his footsteps. "Really?" Kelly said, unimpressed. He busted out laughing. "Huh? Oh ew! John!" Linda said in slight disgust.

"I think they've been warned or something…" Sam said after a few quiet minutes. "Goddamnit!" Kelly shouted, kicking some sand. "Don't have an aneurysm, Kelly. We're onto them, it will be okay." John tried to reassure her. All he really wanted was those chocolate chip pancakes though. "We should radio in and maybe head back." John suggested.

"Head back? When they send us in, we don't just head back until the mission is done!" Kelly snarled, getting in John's face. "Radioing in isn't a bad idea." Sam said and did just that. John huffed and turned away from her. "Don't turn your back to me!" She shouted. John crossed his arms and put his obnoxious music back on. "Damn it, John! You're 31, stop acting like a child!" She hissed. John ignored her and zoomed in on the expansive desert before them. Something caught his eye. Could it be? "They're using camouflage. The old kind…" He said judgmentally. "How did we not see that before?" Linda wondered out loud.

"Time to get to work." John said as he cracked his knuckles.
