"Love Is Stronger."
The episode opens to a voice over done by Chris over a clip in which Alex, Krystal, and Josh are all raising their hands to the night sky.
Chris: "Previously on Total Drama Island….Insanity!
With a flash of the screen, Doug is seen moping around after being ridiculed by Josh.
Chris: "Alex, Josh, and Krystal took control of the Screaming Gophers, putting Doug on the outs of the team!"
With a flash of the screen, Steven and Kimi are seen gathering their closest allies, Vittoria and Jonathon.
Chris: "Meanwhile Steven, Jonathon, Vittoria, and Kimi have dominated the Killer Bass for several weeks now, picking off their biggest threats one…"
Matt is shown leaving the campfire ceremony.
Chris: "….By one…"
Steven is shown Putting Sarah's teddy bear in Kelly's pillow case, ultimately resulting in her elimination.
Chris: "…By one."
Noah is seen saying his heartfelt goodbye to a heartbroken Nourhan.
Chris: "After an ongoing power struggle between Noah and Steven came to a climatic end, Nourhan was left to fight alone.
Nourhan is seen sitting alone in the rain, contemplating her next move after being shunned by her team mates.
Chris: "But in the end it was Sarah's relationship with Wyatt that coasted her closest friend a chance at the tenth of a million dollars prize!"
Brooke is shown being carried away in a kennel, leaving Sarah to fend for herself.
Chris: "Nourhan and Sarah are on the outs. Doug is one step away from going off the edge. But everything changes in a move that will make Total Drama: Insanity history; Tonight on Total….Drama….Island….Insanity!
Total Drama Island: Insanity Intro.
As the Opening theme begins to play cameras begin to pop out of strange places, including an underground burrow and a tree. As the last camera comes out , a clapperboard is held in front of the camera and is slammed shut.
"Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine…."
The camera goes past the dock of shame revealing the Camp Wawanakwa sign. As the scenery continues to be shown , the camera rushes past Chris than continues up the ever so familiar mountain before going over the cliff and through the ring , venturing into the treacherous waters!
"….You guys are on my mind!"
Hector is shown happily swimming in the water before being frightened after seeing a shark and rushing towards the surface.
"You asked me what I wanted to be, and now I think the answer is plain to see…."
As Hector emerges from the surface, Wyatt and a crying Sarah are seen floating past him on an old , gray plank. From behind his back Wyatt pulls out Sarah's teddy bear and holds it towards her, much to her delight. However just as he does so a hawk sweeps down and snatches it, sending Sarah back into hysterics.
"I wanna be famous!"
The hawk flies above Steven, who is in the forest surrounded by pumpkins. As snakes begin to make there way out of the pumpkins Steven screams like the little girl he is deep down, and begins to run. As the camera zooms out Nathalie is seen holding a snake and smiling as Jonathon puts his hands on his hips and raises his left brow at her before the suns vibrant light overcomes this view.
"I wanna live close to the sun."
As the sunlight retracts and a new scene is revealed, Josh and Doug are seen bickering at each other on a raft before going over a waterfall.
"Well pack your bags cuz I've already won."
Matt is seen standing on a long and narrow log, with one hand in the air and one hand on his heart, reciting what looks to be a play in a rather over dramatic light.
"Everything to prove, nothing in my way."
Kelly swings by on a vine, grabbing Matt by the collar of his shirt and taking him along for the ride. As they rush past parts of the camp she drops Matt into the outhouse which falls over because of this. Courtney tumbles out of the outhouse and walks around slightly dazed before falling over, hitting the ground rather hard.
"I'll get there one day."
The camera pans through the cafeteria window, showing Chef making some kind of disgusting grub before going over to Sam and Eric who are looking at each other dreamily before a spoonful of Chef's food is shoved between them. Looks of disgust are shared between the two before Nourhan and Noah are seen laughing together at a nearby table.
"I wanna be famous!"
As the scene changes to the outdoors, both Kimi and Vittoria are seen admiring Alex who is in the water looking at himself in a small hand mirror.
"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na…"
As Alex smiles at himself in the mirror it shatters into a dozen pieces, much to his dismay.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"
The camera pans over to the Dock of Shame where the hawk drops Sarah's teddy bear into Krystal's arm. Krystal grins manically at this before pulling a lighter out of her pocket and setting the small girl's bear on fire. As laughter continues to erupt from her mouth, she throws the doll up into the air.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"
As the burning stuffed animal falls from the sky, the daylight shifts to night. The bear falls down in between Haley and Henry, who are about to kiss when Brooke, who's hair is now on fire, pops up between them. As the camera begins to zoom out, the twenty-two campers are revealed to be sitting at the Bonfire Ceremony. All of them are whistling with the exception of Brooke who is screaming, Krystal who is laughing, and Sarah who is crying hysterically.
Total Drama Island: Insanity!
The Beach.
The great ocean, that surrounds Camp Wawanakwa, is glistening as the sun begins to rise. Light is barely breaking out from the pink clouds that attempt to hide it. Nothing can be heard but the waves crashing against several boulders on the beach. Doug is seen sitting by the shore, hopelessly watching this happen in a continuous loop.
Doug: "This sucks…"
Doug uses his forearm to wipe his eyes which are now rapidly filling with tears.
Confessional Booth: Doug.
Doug: "I never thought coming here there would be such a reversal of roles in terms of how I live my every day life. Being on the outside looking in is something that I'm not used to, and to be honest….I don't know if it's something I can handle much longer. If things don't change by sundown…..I'm going to do it. I'm going to quit the game.
The Docks.
Wyatt walks out to the docks where he sits for a good hour, waiting for Sarah. To no surprise, she doesn't show. Wyatt lets out a long sigh before skipping rocks across the water.
Confessional Booth: Wyatt.
Wyatt: "I screwed up big time in leaving Sarah and Brooke behind…She has every right to be pissed at me right now. I just hope she's able to redeem herself in the eyes of her team. Otherwise my time with her in this game will be over.
The Killer Bass Cabin: The Boy's Side.
Everyone in the cabin, with the exception of Steven, is sound asleep. Steven is sitting above Jonathon's bunk with his leg's crossed. He's looking at a picture of his family. He is seen beside Kimi and what appears to be his mother and father. He takes the right side of the photo in between his thumb and index finger, than rips his father's image from view of the photo. Mere seconds after he does this, Chris announces over the loud speaks that the campers need to gather in front of the cabins. He emphasizes on the fact that they need to be up right away and that no one should take any time to get dressed or shower this morning. Jonathon lifts his head off the pillow and rubs his eyes wearily.
Jonathon: "What's up his ass today?"
Steven shrugs before shoving the scrap of his father into his pocket and jumping off of the top bunk.
Steven: "Not sure, but we should get going. Wouldn't want to be late."
Steven leaves without saying another word and Jonathon watches him do so with a concerned expression spreading across his face.
Outside the Cabins.
All seventeen campers gather outside their living arrangements. Before them is Chris who is standing by some strange sort of contraption that could pass for an electric chair.
Chris: "Well, well, well…..Nice to see all you brats are smiling."
No one is smiling as they all look quite pissed off that they've been woken up at the crack of dawn.
Chris: "Unlike you happy go lucky, care free, teenage party goers; Some of us are having quite a terrible day. Thank you for asking!"
No one reacts to this and just stares at Chris blankly. Most everyone is still half asleep.
Chris: "Thanks to some of us…."
Chris coughs and says Sarah's name before coughing again.
Chris: "Your favorite reality show host is being sued! As if it's my fault that a mentally unstable, hot sauce loving, weirdo , got her arm chomped off last night!"
Chris stops talking and closes his eyes before taking a deep breath to seemingly calm himself.
Chris: "So today, since I'm facing my worst fear of being sued, I only saw it fitting to force you all to face yours as well. That's right campers, today is our first ever phobia factor competition!"
The campers all gasp loudly when Chris says this. All their expressions have changed to looks of horror as their eyes dart back and forth between each other. Chris simply laughs at this.
Chris: "Ha! Who's the happy go lucky Pr**k now!? You can all give Sarah a big huge thanks for this by the way…"
The Killer Bass al glare at Sarah angrily. Wyatt and Krystal are both looking at her from across the way, clearly concerned for her future in this game.
Kimi: "You all better thank her while you can, because she won't be here much longer…"
Wyatt gasps at this.
Confessional Booth: Sarah.
Sarah: "And just when I thought there couldn't be any possible way these people could hate me anymore than they already do…."
Outside the Cabins.
Chris holds up a large stack of papers and waves them in the contestants faces.
Chris: "Right here , I have all of your applications in which you listed you biggest fear! So be prepared to face that fear at some point today! If you can face your fear successfully you will gain a point for your team, if not you could be going home at tonight's Campfire Ceremony!"
By this point most of the campers are trembling in fear, thinking back to what they wrote on their application. Haley in particular looks rather terrified as Chris approaches her.
Chris: "I suppose you're a good place to start…."
Chris puts a "Kiss the chef" apron on Haley who begins crying as soon as he does so. Everyone looks at her strangely, with the exception of Henry, who is the only one who knows what this means. Haley runs off to her bed in tears as Chris yells out after her.
Chris: "You have till sundown to get your first kiss Haley, or it could be game over for you!"
Chris begins laughing manically as Henry glares at him angrily.
Henry: "You've got some serious issues man."
After saying this, Henry calls after Haley and than runs after her.
Confessional Booth: Haley.
Haley: "I can't believe all this is happening right after the two of us made up…How could things possibly get worst!?"
Confessional Booth: Steven.
Steven's eyes are wide and are darting back and forth fearfully.
Steven: "There's no way in hell that they can even put me in this situation…It's just not possible!"
Confessional Booth: Alex.
Alex is sobbing uncontrollably as he speaks to the small camera lens in the Outhouse.
Alex: "On that stupid application I wrote I was afraid of death! They're going to kill me, they're going to freaking kill me!
Alex's sobs get louder after he says this.
Alex: "I'm too young to die!"
Outside the Cabins.
Chris: "All of you can carry on with your days , knowing of your inevitable demise….Alex."
Alex's eyes roll into the back of his head as he feints. Chris runs up and puts his arms around Jonathon, Nathalie, and Vittoria.
Chris: "I will be needing you three now though."
Vittoria: "Prendere le vostre mani fuori di me vile cricchetto."
As Vittoria speaks, Chris holds his Iphone up to her mouth and has Seri translate this.
Seri: "Take your hands off of me you vile ratchet!"
Nathalie gasps at this.
Nathalie: "That's not a very nice thing to say Vittoria!"
Vittoria rolls her eyes.
Chris: "Well , Vittoria, as you wish!"
Chris pushes Vittoria into the electric chair and begins electrocuting her at various levels, laughing psychotically as he does this.
Jonathon: "Have you lost your mind!?"
Chris gives a small chuckle when Jonathon says this and stops with his insane antics as the Killer Bass's icon appears in the corner of the screen. A one appears next to their icon , insinuating that Vittoria has faced her fear of being electrocuted. Her hair is visibly fried and her face looks a bit burnt. She stands up and stumbles around a bit before coughing up ash from her burnt lungs and falling to the ground.
Chris: "So….That was fun….You guys prepared to face the end of the world?"
Jonathon and Nathalie's eyes widen as the scene transitions with the flash of a screen.
The Middle of the Ocean.
Jonathon and Nathalie are sitting on a small block of ice in the middle of the ocean surrounding the beach. The ices edges are melting as the sun's radiating heat shines down upon it.
Jonathon: "…Seriously Nat? Your afraid of global warming….I mean…. Seriously?"
Nathalie: "Shut up!
Nathalie splashes water at Jonathon who begins screaming when he almost falls off of the ice block. He suddenly clings tightly to Nathalie in an attempt to stay a float. Nathalie gives him a snide grin when she witnesses this.
Nathalie: "What do you know…Big, bad, Jonathon can't swim!"
Jonathon looks at her angrily.
Jonathon: "I hope you know if I drown, I'm taking you down with me!"
Nathalie gasps.
The Restrooms.
Sarah is walking slowly, darting behind trees and peering around corners to ensure she makes it to the bathroom safely. Krystal is walking behind her, looking at her younger sister with amusement.
Krystal: "You know you can't hide from her forever right?"
Sarah: "You don't understand Krystal….She could be the death of me!"
Krystal rolls her eyes.
Krystal: "Whatever, your fault for obsessing over her."
Krystal walks into the bathroom and gasps loudly at what she see's.
Krystal: "Sarah….Don't come in here…..She's here!"
Sarah stops dead in her tracks and screams at the top of her lungs before running the other way. Krystal falls on the ground and laughs hysterically when she see's this. It is revealed that there isn't actually anyone in the bathroom.
The Woods.
Doug is walking alone in the woods with his hands stuffed in his pockets. He seems rather calm as he sits on a nearby boulder but this environment becomes more hostile when Josh and Alex approach him.
Josh: "Hey there Douglas! Is it safe to be in the woods alone , you might wet your pants again!"
Josh begins laughing hysterically and nudging Alex , trying to get him to join in , but he doesn't.
Alex: "You might want to lay off Josh, the dude looks pretty bummed today."
Doug gets up and walks away without saying a word.
Josh: "What's his deal?"
Alex: "It probably has something to do with you constantly making fun of him."
Josh: "What? That's ridiculous! He made fun of us first! As far as I'm concerned he deserves it!"
Alex: "Josh , two wrongs don't make a ri_"
Alex's sentence is cut off when a bag is thrown over his head and he is dragged away by a hooded figure. He screams loudly but these screams are muffled out by the bag. Josh yells after him.
Josh: "Good luck! …..Don't die….."
Suddenly Sarah comes sprinting from seemingly no where and stops when she see's Josh.
Sarah: "Have you seen her!?"
Josh: "Her being…?"
Sarah looks around as if saying her name is similar to saying Voldomort.
Sarah: "Sharkeshia!"
Suddenly someone leans in and whispers In Sarah's ear.
?: "Did somebody say my name?"
Sarah screams when she hears this and continues to run without thinking twice to look back. The person is revealed to be Krystal who is holding her abdominal as she laughs uncontrollably once again.
By The Campfire.
Hector and Wyatt are walking past the unlit campfire, discussing how to get in the good graces of Sarah once again.
Wyatt: "I'm telling you man, I really screwed up this time."
Hector: "Have you tried apologizing?"
Wyatt: "I tried last night when she got back from the campfire ceremony, but she's not going to listen to anything I have to say. Not now anyways…"
Hector: "Well sometimes actions speak louder than words. Instead of telling her you're sorry, prove it to her. Whatever you did that made her angry, undo it."
Wyatt nods thoughtfully when Hector says this.
Wyatt: "You know Hector, that's actually some pretty good advice!"
Hector smiles happily with himself.
Hector: "Tha_"
Hector is stopped mid sentence when he runs into a giant, white, outhouse.
Hector: "Hey….Was this here before?"
Without warning Chris pushes Hector into the outhouse and locks him inside. For a second there is silence and than Hector breaks out in horrific fits of screaming as he claws at the door.
Hector: "LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT NOW!"
Chris laughs as Wyatt's eyes widen.
Chris: "If I let you out now, that means you'll lose a point for your team. Are you sure you don't want to stick it out?"
Hector: "I DON'T CARE, JUST GET ME OUT OF HERE!"
Chris shrugs before unlocking the door and letting him out.
Chris: "As you wish…"
Hector tumbles out of the room and falls to the floor, breathing heavily.
Wyatt: "Are you okay Hector….?"
Hector stands up slowly and looks at Wyatt angrily before speaking in a low, demonic voice.
Hector: "Hector's not here anymore."
Wyatt screams fearfully when Hector says this and runs away.
Confessional Booth: Hector.
Hector: "No one can know what I saw in there…It's my one true weakness. If I have to act like there was some demonic being in there to cover it up, than so be it. But I won't expose this weakness to anyone, not even Wyatt."
The Woods.
Josh and Krystal are walking and talking strategy as they do so.
Josh: "So what do you propose our next move to be?"
Krystal: "Well Sam and I have been getting along well lately so I want to keep her long term…Haley and Henry seem nice…. To be honest I'm getting the vibe that Hector has nothing to offer in terms of challenges."
Josh needs in agreement.
Josh: "I agree, but I think that Doug should be the next one to go. He never meshed well with any of us and could be a threat down the road."
Krystal: "I don't know about that Josh….Something's up with him."
Josh sighs heavily and rolls his eyes.
Josh: "You think I've been too harsh on him too?"
Krystal: "I just think you should talk to him about whatever's bothering him and figure out a way that we can move past this conflict. Everyone deserves a fair chance, even Doug.
Josh looks down sadly at the thought of having to talk to Doug but once again nods in agreement. Suddenly the two stop dead in their tracks at what they see.
Krystal: "Oh my god….Are those…."
Josh takes a large gulp.
Josh: …SPIDERS!"
The two scream as a herd of tarantula's come crawling towards them. Without warning, one falls from a tree and lands on Krystal's face who begins screaming immediately when it does so.
Krystal: "GET IT OFF, GET IT OFF!"
Krystal throws the spider off of herself and at Josh. Josh begins screaming when she does this and because of doing so it lands right in his mouth and crawls down his throat. Much to Krystal's dismay he begins to choke.
Josh: "I think….It's crawling down my throat."
Krystal: "Don't die on me Josh! Don't you die on me! We've already lost Alex today and Sarah is most likely to follow!"
Krystal runs up behind Josh and ignores the spiders crawling on her and Josh as she gives him the Heimlich , forcing him to throw up the giant spider. Josh begins to breath normally again as all the spiders crawl away.
Krystal: "Josh, we did it! We faced our fears!"
Josh looks down sadly.
Josh: "Yea…I guess we did…."
Confessional Booth: Josh.
Josh: "I'm really happy we were able to face our fears and gain a point for our team…..But I didn't do it alone…I'm never able to do anything for myself…"
Josh lets out a loud sigh.
Josh: "I think I know what I'm going to say to Pee Pee Douglas…"
The Cabins: The Screaming Gophers.
Sam and Eric are on a bed, talking about sweet nothings and having a good time when suddenly the lights go out and they are left in the pitch dark! Sam is heard taking a large gulp.
Sam: "Help us…."
Eric: "Who are you talking to?"
Sam: "Jesus…"
Eric: "Oh, you mean Josh?"
Sam: "No , not teen Jesus. The real Jesus."
Eric: "Oh…Okay….So…."
Eric begins screaming like a terrified little girl and clinging to Sam, much to her enjoyment.
Confessional Booth: Sam.
Sam is carving her's and Eric's initials into the confessional booth while talking about teenage girl nonsense as the clip of her confessional is fast forwarded over by production.
The Cliff Top.
Sarah are Wyatt are both running separate ways when they run into each other and roll all the way down the cliff. Once they reach the bottom they both stand up and rub their heads, looking rather dazed. When Sarah's vision comes to, she looks at Wyatt angrily and turns around to walk away.
Wyatt: "Sarah, wait!"
Sarah turns around angrily.
Sarah: "What do you want Wyatt! I already told you , I don't want to talk to you anymore!"
Wyatt: "Just tell me what I can do so I can make it right again! I'd do anything for you Sarah, anything…"
Sarah shakes her head as her eyes begin to fill with tears.
Sarah: "You've done enough already…Now leave me alone."
Sarah turns around , prepared to walk away, when she is punched in the face by Sharkeshia. Sarah immediately falls to the ground and screams while she is hopelessly smacked around by her biggest fear. Wyatt stands there and does nothing but scream from afar.
Wyatt: "Sharkshia no!"
Sharkeshia kicks a bloody Sarah in the face.
Wyatt: "Don't kick her Sharkeshia!"
The Cabins: The Screaming Gophers Side.
Haley has buried her tears in a pillow that she has pressed against her face. Henry gives a slight knock before walking in and sitting beside her. He begins to run his fingers through her hair to calm her down. Haley sits up and looks at him, Henry wiping her tears from her face.
Henry: "Haley, you don't have to do this."
Haley: "Henry…"
Henry puts his finger to her lips.
Henry: "I don't need an explanation. I don't need a reason why you can't because I know there is one, and I know it's valid. I trust you in defiantly Haley."
Haley puts her face in her hands and shakes her head.
Haley: "Why aren't you scared? You seem so calm."
Henry gives a slight laugh and shakes his head.
Henry: "I already faced my fear when you helped me jump off the cliff top that day. They have nothing to throw at me anymore. I'll be fine."
Haley: "That's why I feel terrible. You took the most vulnerable part of you and you just put it out there, like you said, trusting me in defiantly. But here I am, not returning that trust. I'm scared Henry."
Henry looks at her sorrowfully.
Henry: "When your ready, you'll know. It'll feel like you're free falling without a parachute, trusting that I'll break your fall. But until than I don't want you to do anything you're not ready for, because that would break your heart , and in return break mine."
Henry stands up without Haley saying a word and leaves the room.
The Middle Of The Ocean.
The Ice block has grown significantly smaller. Nathalie is now sitting on Jonathon's lap to avoid touching the water, which Chris has poured oil into.
Nathalie: "You're more of an animal than the poor defenseless creatures of the deep you spineless scum!"
Jonathon raises his brow at her and smiles.
Nathalie: "Now what!? Are you thinking of what your next jab my way will be or just simply constipated!?"
Jonathon laughs.
Jonathon: "Neither…I admire the way you speak what's on your mind….I never noticed it before until you became my lap dog...Literally."
Nathalie looks at him angrily before splashing water at him. Jonathon freaks out and accidentally throws Nathalie in the oil ridden water in return. Jonathon realizes what he's done and looks into the water, slightly worried. Nathalie's oil covered head pops up above the surface and screams.
Nathalie: "IT'S HAPPENING! I'M LIKE A DIEING POLAR BEAR IN THE ARCTIC!"
As Nathalie begins to cry in the polluted ocean Jonathon looks at her worriedly while contemplating his next move.
Confessional Booth: Jonathon.
Jonathon sighs heavily.
Jonathon: "I know I'm going to regret this, but since my tough guy who doesn't give a crap about anything image has been ruined anyways…I might as well."
The Ocean.
Jonathon throws himself into the ocean and props Nathalie up onto what is left of the ice, much to her surprise. As Jonathon begins to fall below the surface, Nathalie gasps and grabs his hand, pulling him up as far as she can with one hand and paddling to shore with the other. Once she reaches the beach, she drags Jonathon out by his shoulders and plops down beside him when they both reach safety. They gain two points for their team.
Nathalie: "Why did you do that…Why did you save me?"
Jonathon is breathing heavily as he makes desperate attempts to re gain his breath.
Jonathon: "You were scared."
Nathalie: "So? You think all my animal rights crap is stupid!"
Jonathon: "You got that right."
Nathalie: "Than why did you put your life on the line for me?"
Jonathon bites his bottom lip as he tries to think of an answer to this question. Instead he simply stands up and begins to walk away.
Jonathon: "Don't you ever get tired of nagging?"
Nathalie smiles as she watches Jonathon walk away.
Confessional Booth: Nathalie.
Nathalie smiles warmly.
Nathalie: "Ya know, Jonathon's a really interesting guy…One I can't seem to get to the bottom of."
The Infirmary.
Sarah is sitting on a stretcher with an ice pack pressed to her face as Chef, who is dressed in a nurse's outfit, approaches her.
Chef: "You have a visitor."
Chef steps aside to reveal Wyatt who is holding out flowers towards Sarah, hopeful that she will forgive him.
Sarah: "Don't you have a fear to be facing!?"
Sarah stands up to walk away when he stops her.
Wyatt: "I'm afraid of demons, and I'm pretty sure Hector got possessed in this weird outhouse thing so…I'm all good now. Why didn't you just back out of the fight from sharkeshia? "
Sarah: "Because when you left Brooke and I alone in the woods, that option was taken off the table! From here on out I have to give my all in challenges, if not, it's bye bye Sarah! And that's if they don't just vote me off anyways!"
Sarah walks away angrily as Wyatt looks down sadly.
By The Outhouse.
Steven is being led to the outhouse by Chris when he comes to a sudden stop at the door.
Steven: "Wait, Who's in there!?"
Steven's voice becomes very frantic when he realizes what is going on.
Chris: "You and I both know what's waiting for you behind that door…"
Steven shakes his head angrily.
Steven: "Well than you can forget it, because I have nothing to say to him!"
Steven runs off angrily. Chris puts a red megaphone to his mouth and calls out after him.
Chris: "Suite yourself!"
The Cabins Porch Steps.
Alex is walking back to the camp grounds, looking rather terrified, when he see's Nourhan looking off in the distance sadly.
Alex: "Hey…What happened to you?"
Nourhan: "I faced rejection…over….and over….and over again. You?"
Alex gives a slight shiver at the thought of what had occurred that day.
Alex: "I'd rather not talk about it."
Alex walks into his team's cabin as Nourhan watches Kimi successfully emerge from a snake pit.
Confessional Booth: Nourhan.
Nourhan: "I don't understand why everyone can face their fear but I can't…
Nourhan sighs heavily.
Nourhan: "I want to get my stuff together but I'm not sure if it'll make a difference or not. After not getting a point for my team today, It looks like it could be the end of the line for me.
The Beach.
Josh see's Doug sitting on the beach as the sun begins to set and takes a seat next to him.
Josh: "What's your biggest fear?"
Doug: "Losing…."
Josh: "At what?"
Doug: "Anything…I've never lost at anything in my entire life…Until now anyways."
Josh: "What're you talking about?"
Doug: "It's sundown…and I've had enough of this place. I'm quitting this game. I'm finally about to fail at something, so I hope your happy."
Doug gets up to walk away but Josh follows him.
Josh: "Doug stop it! You can't just give up when things get tough!"
Doug turns around angrily to face Josh.
Doug: "Why are you trying to change my mind right now, You don't even like me! You've been wanting me gone for weeks now!"
Josh: "Because…Because I get what it's like to feel alone."
Doug: "Not good enough."
Doug turns around to walk away again when Josh continues.
Josh: "My fear isn't spiders…It's not being able to do anything for myself. That's why I'm always pushing people away. I want to trick myself into believing that I can do everything on my own because I know I can't and it pisses me off! I've always had to lean on someone to get through the tough times. It's no different here, the faces have just changed. You don't have that problem. You go in and you do everything with confidence to the point of cockiness , and it pisses me off!"
Josh's voice cracks for a second before he takes a deep breath and gathers his emotions.
Josh: "There will be a point in this game where for the first time in my life I will have to do something for myself. Just like me, you will have to come out of your comfort zone to succeed out here. You're going to have to lean on someone or you're never going to have the will to carry on. I've already done things I'm not comfortable with doing. I made friends in a situation that seemed sociably impossible for me, and it turns out they're the best friends I've had in a long time! Good things don't come easy Doug, You have to go through the dark to find the light. You're never going to find it alone."
Josh holds out his hand to Doug.
Josh: "I know we've had our differences but we're two different fruits from the same tree. I can help you, but you have to let me."
Doug looks at Josh's hands thoughtfully before shaking it, signifying a truce between the two sworn enemies. Doug smiles at this.
Doug: "Lets go get food, I'm starving."
Josh nods in agreement and the two newfound friends walk towards the cafeteria.
The Cabins: The Killer Bass's Side.
Steven is sitting on the top bunk looking at his picture when Jonathon comes in the room and rests his head at the foot of Steven's bed.
Jonathon: "Okay dude, you're seriously starting to bum me out. What's going on?"
Steven's eyes fill up with tears as Jonathon looks at him in shock, never seeing such a flood of emotion from Steven.
Jonathon: "Who's that in the picture…?"
Steven: "It's my ass hole of a father."
Jonathon: "Is that who you're afraid of, your dad?"
Steven nods humbly.
Steven: "We had such a close relationship all my life. He was the one person I put all my trust into. I trusted him to never reject me for who I was as a person. But than it happened anyways…"
Jonathon: "What happened?"
Steven shakes his head sorrowfully and lets out a small laugh of disbelief through his tears.
Steven: "I came out to him. He was the first person I told about my sexuality, and after I did , I was no longer the son he wanted me to be. Suddenly I was the disgrace of our family. A black seed that should be hidden from anyone else's view."
Jonathon looks at Steven thoughtfully as he listens to Steven's story.
Steven: "I was shunned for feelings I couldn't control. He hates me for something I can't help. This secret that I'd been keeping all my life, that I finally felt would be okay to tell, drove my family apart. My parents are divorced now, and I'm pretty sure Kimi still resents me for that. I'd been unhappy for so long…Than I saw an add promoting this show. A chance for me to finally prove myself worthy in my father's eyes; But now that I'm here…I still want nothing to do with him."
Jonathon nods understandingly.
Jonathon: "Good, than you shouldn't face him."
Steven looks at Jonathon with confusion.
Steven: "But…If I don't, we'll lose."
Jonathon shrugs.
Jonathon: "That doesn't matter, because unlike your father, you have three people who have your back in defiantly. We've accepted you for you , and none of us are going to go back on that. Stop playing this game to make him proud, you need to play it to make yourself proud; Because he'll never be able to take that away from you."
Jonathon looks at Steven for a second before getting ready to walk away when Steven hops off his bed and gives Jonathon a hug.
Steven: "Thank you, Jonathon.
Jonathon smiles and pats Steven on the back.
Jonathon: "Don't mention it."
Confessional Booth: Jonathon.
Jonathon: "After what Steven shared with me, about the most vulnerable part of his life, I don't think I can ever turn on him after that. No, I won't turn on him after that! I've got his back, till the end!"
The Cabins: The Screaming Gophers Side.
Haley is sitting on her bed with her face In her palms, looking incredibly sad.
Confessional Booth: Haley.
Haley: "At this point, besides Hector, I'm the only one who hasn't successfully faced my fear….If I go home without doing this, I know I'll regret it for the rest of my life. I can't let myself harness that much regret…I have to do this….No, I want to do this!"

Haley grabs a rubber band from the dresser beside her, ties up her hair, and leaves the cabin. Elsewhere Nourhan is joined by Nathalie who tells her about her day. They both laugh and continue to bond as Jonathon and Steven exit the cabin nearest to them. Nathalie brushes her hair behind her ears and gives him a warm smile, which he shyly returns. Haley is once again seen and she is now running across the camp grounds, calling out Henry's name in an attempt to find him. She runs past the cafeteria which is occupied by Josh, Alex, Krystal, and Doug. They are all telling several stories from their past and laughing about many of the things they've endured on the island thus far. The camera pans out the cafeteria window and shows Henry standing on the beach, looking at the stars. Haley see's him from afar and the two lock eyes from opposite sides of the beach as she takes off towards him. Sam and Eric are shown cuddling in the dark as the lights turn back on and the two both gain points for their team. Sam looks up at Eric and smiles, which Eric ignores, getting off of the bed and leaving her alone. Haley is once again shown sprinting down the beach until she reaches Henry. She comes to a stop and looks at him with a daze in her eyes. He begins to speak to her but it us her who is now putting her fingers on his eyes. The scene transitions back to the cafeteria where a badly bruised Sarah sits down, isolated from everyone else. Steven, Vittoria, Kimi, and Jonathon are all sitting at the opposite end of the table from her. Hector and Wyatt take a seat at a table across from her as Wyatt hopeless watches her, coming to the realization it will be her who will be voted out at tonight's Campfire Ceremony. Sam watches Eric leave the cabin and is left with a sense of loneliness, unsure of what to make of the situation she has been put in. Haley is now shown once again at the beach, running her fingers down from Henry's eyes to his lips, which she perches open slightly before leaning into him…. Haley's lips are seen interlocking with Henry's as they share their first passionate kiss under the night sky, Sam is seen crying into her pillow as she realizes Eric hasn't been returning her loving gestures, and Wyatt leaves the table in a rush to make things right with Sarah. Haley pulls away from Henry as he looks into his eyes on the beach, waves crashing against their ankles.
Henry: "I lied….when I said I wasn't afraid of anything. I am afraid of one thing…"
Haley looks up at him, stricken with love.
Henry: "No, I'm not just afraid….I'm terrified…I'm terrified of losing you."
Haley shakes her head at him before running her hand down his chest and into his own.
Haley: "Don't be, because I won't let it happen."
Henry places his hand on the back of her neck, brushes the hair out of her face, and pulling her closer to him as the two ignore everything around them. They do not hear the sound of Chris announcing them the winners of the challenge nor feel the pitter patter of the rain falling against their skin. All they hear is the sound of their beating hearts and the feeling of love that is overcoming them.
Confessional Booth: Sarah.
Sarah wipes a tear from her face as she speaks.
Sarah: "This game is strong…"
Confessional Booth: Henry.
Henry smiles happily.
Henry: "…Fear is strong…"
Confessional Booth: Haley.
Haley blushes as she bites her bottom lip.
Haley: "….But love is stronger."
Confessional Booth: Wyatt.
Wyatt nods somberly before continuing on.
Wyatt: "I know what I have to do now."
The Campfire Ceremony.
The seven remaining Bass are sitting on their respective stumps, awaiting the fairly obvious elimination that is soon to pursue.
Chris: "This campers…Is the final marshmallow!"
Sarah begins to gather her things. Nourhan closes her eyes hopefully, praying that she receives the final marshmallow, which she does. Nourhan's face lights up as she catches the marshmallow in her palms and slips it into her mouth joyfully. Sarah stands up sadly.
Sarah: "Good game everyone, and good luck…Except for you Chris."
Sarah crosses her arms angrily and looks at him.
Sarah: "It's very obvious you rigged this challenge in the gophers favor so I would go home tonight! We don't even have an even amount of team members, how could we possibly get enough points to beat them!"
Chris shrugs, uncaring to what Sarah has to say.
Chris: "My game, my rules. Now march!"
Chris points towards the dock of shame, signaling for Sarah to leave. As she begins to walk the down the dock, Wyatt comes running after her.
Wyatt: "Wait! I…."
Sarah turns around and looks at Wyatt hopefully as he takes a deep breath and sorrowfully says what he needs to say.
Wyatt: "I'd like to quit so Sarah can take my place!"
All of the Bass gasp in shock when Wyatt says this. Sarah's face lights up as she runs over to him.
Sarah: "You'd do that for me?"
Wyatt cheers up when he nods at her.
Wyatt: "Of course I would. You're much more important to me than a hundred thousand dollars!"
Sarah smiles sweetly at him while Chris rubs his hands together manically.
Chris: "Oh, how I love a good jaw dropper!"
Sarah looks angrily at Chris than back to Wyatt.
Sarah: "I'm going to miss you…"
Wyatt smiles gloomily and wraps his arms around her.
Wyatt: "No you won't…You don't need me anymore…"
Sarah pulls away from him and stops, just inches from his face.
Sarah: "Yes I do."
Sarah takes his face in her hands and pulls it towards her. As the two kiss, all of the member of the Killer Bass "Awe." in reaction before Chef pulls a love struck Wyatt away and throws him in the Boat of Losers. When the boat begins to take off , Sarah runs to the end of the dock and waves at Wyatt.
Sarah: "Don't forget about me!"
Wyatt says something in response that is indiscrete due to his growing distance from her.
Chris: "Well campers, that was unexpected! By Wyatt sacrificing himself, you all lucked out tonight; But I can guarantee you it won't happen again, so every single one of you better give it your all in whatever the future may hold for you at Camp Wawanakwa! You're all free to make your way back to the cabins now, good night."
Everyone , with the exception of Steven, gets up and leaves the area. Steven, however, stands up and approaches the lit fire pit. He pulls out the picture scrap of his father and tearfully holds it over the fire.
Confessional Booth: Steven.
Steven: "Everyone can call me mean, everyone can call me nasty…But there's a method behind my madness and a reason behind why I'm doing what I'm doing!"
Steven's expression immediately changes from sorrow to anger as he speaks.
Steven: "I'm going to prove all of them wrong about me! Every last one of them; And nobody is going to be able to stop me , because this is my island!"
The Campfire Ceremony.
Steven wipes the tears from his face and looks at the photo angrily before spitting on it and dropping it into the campfire. As he walks away, the camera zooms in on the burning picture of a love that was once meant to never die…..But did anyways.
