How I fell in Love with a Demon

I shifted in my seat quickly glancing around the room. Luckily the students had moved on from the new kid predicament. They were now focusing on why Inuyasha had not been at school for three days. 'Good question'.
I even wondered where the man, who had taken over my thoughts, was. My mind had constantly been on him these days. Like a plague I couldn't help wondering how his meeting with the council was going, and just what was it about? Feeling like I was under a spell for connecting with him in only just two days, and wondering how this could happen so fast.
My research had went slightly better than imagined. In short, Inuyasha was a hanyou. This meant he was half human and half demon. I know it was not uncommon for a demon and human to date, but to have a baby? Inuyasha being a hanyou was also the reason why he had looked so human to me and why I hadn't realized at first he was a demon. Reading the description helped a lot. His cute ears were apart of his heritage. Most full blooded youkai had regular ears only they were pointed like an elf.
Inu-mate was describe as one member of a pair of mated souls. Meaning not only did they mate for life, it was for eternity. So that their souls would always find each other. Infidelity was not possible nor was it wanted. To me this all seemed extremely romantic. To pass on into the afterlife and once again meet every life after.
Unfortunately my feelings were mixed because while I had strong feelings for Inuyasha, I also did not know if I wanted to be tide down so soon. Well not too soon because Sango said that he couldn't mate at this age. However in another 150 years I would be dead. This made a twinge of pain shoot through my chest.
I was more confident on my finding's and for once didn't feel out of the loop(too much) on all that was happening. Of coarse that didn't stop me from watching Sango and Mirkou together or apart. The latter seemed to be more and more as the days passed. Sango had become extremely friendly, hanging over me ever chance she got. Miroku was off on his on, chilling with more demons that I had not met yet.
And even though they didn't hang out, I knew they were speaking with their eyes, every time they would glance at each other and glare.
I was mad at both of them. Even though I knew where Inuyasha had went, I wanted to know what he was doing there. My days followed.
Day 1:
"Kagome, can you pass me that packet of salt? These fucking mash potatoes are disgusting." Reaching for the salt I grunted in agreement. Did the lunch ladies not know how to cook?
"So, where is Inuyasha again?" I asked slowly, hoping I would get an answer this time.
"Hmm? Oh, heard he was sick." I wanted to laugh.. Demons did not even get freaking sick.
Day 2:
"If you touch my ass one more time you pervert, I am going to slap your face off and wear it as my shoe," Sango violently steamed, gripping Miroku's hand at an odd angle making his knee's bend in attempt to follow.
"Gah! Sango, I'm sorry, I'm sorry! Will you let go?" Miroku gasped out, you could tell he was in pain.
Sango tossed his hand away from her before stalking off, leaving me behind. As I watched her descent, Miroku was trying had to stifle his groans of agony. She surely had the worst temper ever.
"Hey, Miroku?" I said. Hoping maybe now that Sango was gone I could get him to tell me. He hummed, flexing his arm to and fro.
"Is Inuyasha sick? Is that why he hasn't been at school?" Miroku laughed, giving me an amused look. I tried hard to keep my confused look in place.
"Yeah, right! Inuyasha has yet to get sick in all the years I have known him."
Hate to say it but told you so.
"Oh, well why did Sango say he had a cold?" I replied back slyly. I knew I had him because he and Sango obviously did not think up their lie together. Watching him turn his gaze from me and give a glare in the direction Sango had gone, before turning back to me and smiling wearily.
"Did she?" laughing, he rubbed a hand over the back of his head. "She must have heard me wrong! I told her he was at the doctor's. Maybe she assumed he was sick? He mumbled out. Looking around for an out when I gave him a dead panned look and growled, 'For three days?' Sure.
Our conversation, however, was cut short when Kouga popped up and asked Miroku a question. Tuning them out, I wondered if maybe I could get Kouga to spill. He obviously wasn't the brightest of the group, and he had a crush on me.
Day three:
"If you multiply the two together you get fifty-six, and once you divide this by the denominator, you get fourteen. Which is your answer." I explained to Kouga. We were currently at the library and I was assisting him with his math. He was horrid at it. He couldn't even work out simple equations.
"Ah! Kagome you are freaking life saver. Maybe this time I can pass my damn exam." He exclaimed. Feeling pleased with myself, that somehow I was able to get Kouga alone and draw no suspicion towards myself, I was ready to confront him on the Inuyasha situation.
"SO, Kouga," I began, "Are you and Inuyasha close?" I finished flashing him a smile, that I hoped looked innocent enough. I had managed to keep Inuyasha out of our conversation so far, and I was now ready to venture into him.
Snorting, Kouga glared at me, "Hell no! Me and dog breath? Nah. We just go way back." Putting his papers in his binder because we were done, he stood up, looking ready to leave quickly. Hm. Sango or Miroku must have told him Inuyasha was not a conversation topic. Ugh.
"Ah I see. It's odd that you and him hang out a lot, for two people who aren't friends." I laughed lightly, standing up as well to gather my things.
"Eh, we just have a lot in common, more than we would like," he muttered. " We figured being rivals was stupid when together we could stomp the other competition. Thus our hanging out insues." Following him out the door, I waved goodbye to Rin. She was becoming a fast friend and extremely easy to talk to. We had a lunch date Saturday that I was definitely looking forward to. Especially when she was the only normal person I was friends with.
"I haven't known you all long but from the looks of it, Inuyasha is the leader per say." I implied, praying this would irrate him enough to spill stuff he otherwise would not. Kouga stopped in his tracks before glancing my way. I kept my face neutral so he couldn't tell this was a set up.
"He is not the leader, Kagome. Powerful he may be, the alpha-dog has not yet been decided. I am not under the mutt." Storming away from me, I let him. He was not going to assist me in any of my questions. I suppose I would have to wait for Sango to tell me in another four days. Either that or Inuyasha would be back at school. I really wished he would hurry up and come back. Everyone was on such high alert since his departure.
Day 4:
Still no Inuyasha. I was beyond furious and my thoughts keep getting more violent by the hour. Something needed to happen soon or I was going to BLOW. Shooting Miroku and aggregated look and throwing my hands in the air. He was pouting because I had told him Sango did not even like him at all. My violent anger was slowing leaking and I was being mean intentionally.
When Sango walked up, I was still glaring at him and Miroku was looking like a lost puppy.
"What the hell is your problem, Houshi?" She asked.
"Why don't you ask Kagome, your new friend," he answered before sauntering away. Sango looked towards me and I just whistled slightly before turning to walk towards our class.
"I have no idea what is wrong with him at all." I stated. Because if they weren't going to answer my questions, I was going to ignore theirs.
Sango merely shrugged before following me into the room. I turned my head towards the window and pondered why I was so miserable with out Inuyasha here. I wanted to see him so bad my heart ached, and my thoughts circled around the golden eyed adonis. I really needed him to explain what had proceed at the lunch room table. Losing my self in my thoughts as the teachers voice faded into a fuzzy downed out sound.

Inuyasha moved from side to side on his feet, unable to stand still and rest his aching body. Being without Kagome these last few days were taking a toll on his emotions, as well as his demon. Really, Kagome was too innocent and should not have to be forced into his world. Yet the council had decided to train Kagome in the ways of Mikos's. Their decision was always final. Only he hated of Naraku ever learning of Kagome, knowing she would be an easy target, and with Miroku's and Sango's steadily growing affections for the girl, she would be too easy.
It was bad enough Kikyo acted oblivious to all going on, even though she was for sure a Mikos. He wondered slightly if Kikyo had known Kagome was a Mikos the moment she had spoken to her. Running his hands through his tresses, Inuyasha shielded his heightened eyes from the sun, looking in the direction of the school. He needed to see her to confirm she was doing fine. His demon would not rest until the Mikos was in his sights.
He had not informed Sango or Miroku of his whereabouts, and hoped they were keeping quiet about them. They would both guess his was still preparing for the council.
Finally! Inuyasha caught sight of her dark brown hair swaying with the wind. Obviously it was lunch but he could not phantom why they were currently outside, sitting beside the court yard tree. A smile graced his lips, seeing Kagome laugh at Sango's and Miroku's heated exchange. She was extremely beautiful and his heart clenched just from the thought of her.. Her beauty was not the only thing that pulled Inuyasha towards her. The scent of honey-jasmine that wafted of her skin, and that no regular human could smell, was enough to make his pants tighten and his member harden.
She was driving him mad, and he had almost taken her during lunch four days ago. Inuyasha knew she was a virgin, that she was untouched, and he wanted to taint her with his body. Fill her with his essence, and eat away at her innocence.
Of coarse, Miroku had not told her the real reason Inuyasha had reacted the way he did. Unknown to Kagome, her miko powers had flared and attacked his youkai trying to pull him to her. Telling him to take her, and he wanted to, so very much. To take her as many ways as he could. And there were sooo many ways.
She had only called for him, which excited him because he wanted her just as much. If Kagome was his mate, which he was more certain of that. Then why did the council want him to mate with Kikyo? He had heard the conversation between the two and knew Kikyo was lying out of her teeth.
When he first came here, Kikyo had piqued his interest right away with her cool demeanor and no nonsense attitude. She had scuffed at him saying she did not want to date a demon.
Inuyasha let his mind wander back to Kagome and what she would think about being with a demon. By all right's he would be better than any human male she could find. He would please her and light the fire every time he touched her. Just one touch and he could make her orgasm like she would never believe. And he wanted this. More so than anything else, even the destruction of Naraku. He needed to have Kagome, and soon.
Inuyasha didn't know if Kagome knew of demons even though she was a Miko. But she would with time because the demon council demanded Kaede train her in the ways.
He would have her and he wanted it all. The passion, lust, want, need, to cloud his mind of only her. It was only a matter of time and persuasion on his part. He knew Kagome wanted him, even if she hadn't attacked his aura, Inuyasha could smell her arousal every time he was near, and this satisfied him, oh so much.
Grinning to himself, a plan set in motion, he whispered, "Soon Kagome, very soon." As if she heard him her head launched into his direction, her eyes searching before landing on him on top of the hill. Inuyasha could see her breath catch and her hand come up to rest on her chest. Right above her heart. Right about the very thing he wanted all for himself. He let her see his need for her, the very thing she pulled from him at the lunch table. Lifting his hand up he waved slowly causing Kagome to blush and glance down, however when she lifted her head back up, Inuyasha was no where to be seen.
