So here's the longer version for chapter 7. Sorry it came later than I want it too, I just can't seem to put the idea from my mind into the document.
Do enjoy. Thank you to those who reviewed the shorter version, here's the updated one and gracias to all who followed and added this on favorites.
The only thing I own in this story is the plot and the story, nothing else.
And, I changed he title yet again... I can't seem to settle on a permanent one.
~ Welcome Home, Precious One~
G stared blankly into space as the information slowly sink in. Him, the ever temperamental guardian has a son? And of all people, with Lavina whom of all the ladies that came into his life, the only one that he ever have loved and admittedly, until now he have feelings for.
The very idea of being a father had been shocking at the very least. Not that he disliked it, actually there was a warm and foreign feeling inside him and frankly he wanted it to stay, forever. He had seen how Giotto and even Asari changed so much for the better when Tsuna and Takeshi came into view and a part of him had wanted to know exactly how being a father would feel like.
"G?" Lavina mentioned the man's name with worry. Is he angry at her? Doesn't he want the idea of being a father? Should she just have stayed away and keep her secret to herself? Maybe this is not a good idea at all.
"What did you say, again?" G managed to utter as his attention snapped back into reality.
"That I...no, we have a son. His name is Hayato..." Lavina stated in a much softer voice than before as she met eyes with G, worried that the man that she loves won't be happy hearing the news.
"How? How come I never knew?" G asked, still drilling the idea of having a son into his mind.
"I wanted too, god knows how much I wanted to run into you and tell the great news the very moment I found out... b-but things happened, and..." Lavina's eyes started to water, G stared at the woman he loves with worry, wanting so much to just pull her into a hug and tell him that things will be fine not caring how out of character he would look. However, would it be the best action to do at the moment? There still are lots of unanswered question he mostly wanted to know the answers to.
"What happened?"
Lavina was about to speak when the door opened, Asari stepping in.
"G, there's someone here looking for Lavina" Asari came with a slightly older man tagging not too far from the Japanese man. "He says, he'll help explain everything."
"Allegro!" Lavina's eyes widened with shock seeing her now ex-husband. "I thought you and Bianchi stayed in Seoul? What are you doing here?"
"Bianchi's currently in Spain with my sister. Ah, you must be G, My name is Allegro and I am Lavina's ex-husband" The man smiled as he held out his hand for a shake. G however didn't bother to return the shake, eyes narrowing at that one word 'ex-husband' The man chuckled "Don't worry, I am not an enemy nor do I have plans to steal Lavina back. I am here, mainly as an acquaintance. Someone who will help explain everything"
"Allegro...You don't have to!"
"It's the least I can do, Lavina. Besides wouldn't it be better if I help?"
"Thank You" Lavina smiled with gratitude.
"I'll leave you three to talk" Asari smiled as he excused himself "G, I will expect you for details later. Now, I'll have to help Giotto search for Alaude and interrogate him. Do you know that he's back a few minutes ago with a son"
G raised an eyebrow, momentarily forgetting his current situation. "Alaude?"
"Shocking right?" Asari gave a bow of curtsy as respect. "We all should have a drinking fest later. For now, I'll be leaving." G just nodded and watched as his friend left.
"Wait, can you tell Giotto to have Alaude sign a few papers? He'll know which ones" G managed to say.
"Roger that"
"So, how about we start now?" Allegro stated "I'm sure there're a lot of question you would want answers for"
...iOiOiOiOiOi...
"Mukuro-nii!" A sobbing Chrome came rushing towards her twin brother with her clothes muddied and several scratches visible. Hearing his younger twin's cry, the mentioned eight year old looked away from the clouds that drifted in the sky to attend to the call. Eyes narrowing dangerously seeing the state his beloved sister is currently in.
"What happened to you my dear Chrome?"
"The other kids, they said I'm weird and they push me into this mud pool and they started kicking me!" The shy girl buried her face into her brother's chest and sobbed "If it wasn't for those two new kids who helped me, It would have been worst. Is it true that I'm weird? Do you think I'm weird?"
"You are unique my Chrome-chan. That's how precious you are but listen to me, you are not weird. Don't listen to what they say"
"Hai, nii-san" Chrome finally smiled as her brother wiped the tears away. His Chrome who unlike him had been shy and vulnerable. They were twins but they acted so different. He was strong both in mind and body whilst Chrome is sickly and hurtful words tend to get into her faster than a bullet. He never hesitates to say what is on his mind whilst Chrome prefers to keep everything all to herself, in exception for her brother who knew everything. He tends to be sadistic and a little on the demonic side at times and Chrome? Chrome is the angelic one.
Mukuro loves his sister ever so dearly. She's the only one he's got and he will protect her no matter what.
Mukuro's eyes glinted with anger. It was all their fault why his beloved sister experiences all this pain and hardships and no matter what, he will never ever forget what they did. They don't deserve to be a part of their life. They can stay and rot wherever they are! He doesn't need them and he'll make it so that Chrome will be happy even if they stay away forever... Them, their parents who abandoned.
"Mukuro-nii..." Chrome took her brother out of his musing.
"Yes, my darling Chrome?"
"Can we say thank you to those kids?"
"Kufufufu~ as you wish, my darling Chrome"
...iOiOiOiOiOi...
"What should we play? We can't go outside since it's raining and the house is too big to play hide and seek! And I don't feel like drawing and coloring!" Tsuna asked as he moved his petite right hand towards his chin as if thinking deeply. After several minutes of coming up with nothing, he slumped on the floor and pouted. "This is hard!"
"Haha, it's okay Tsuna!"
"The baseball-freak is right, Tsuna-sama! It's okay, we will help you think of something we can play!"
"Baseball-freak?" Takeshi pointed to himself, grinning
Hayato glared at thw taller boy "It's because you love baseball so much so you're a freak!"
"Haha. I guess I am" The raven haired laughed sheepishly. "Oh, I know! We can play house!"
"That is girl stuff!" Hayato glared. "Jyuudaime how about we search for UMA!"
"What's an UMA?"
"They're weird animals who hide themselves from people!"
"Why do they hide?"
"I don't know Tsuna-sama, maybe they are too shy or too ugly!"
"Haha! Finding those UMA sounds fun! Maybe there is one living in here and stays inside one of the rooms!" Takeshi smiled at the idea.
"You think so?" Tsuna asked
"Yes, Tsuna-sama maybe there's an UMA here! We can be extreme UMA adventurers and find them!"
"Okay!"
...iOiOiOiOiOi...
Alaude carefully opened the door to his own room with Kyoya in his secure hold, still asleep. He walked towards his king sized bed and without much effort, managed to tuck the boy unto the bed without waking him up. Brushing of the few strands of hair that managed to fall towards the boy's face, Alaude sat at the edge of the bed and silently watched as the boy slept.
The blond man started to think. He wondered, would things had been better had he known earlier? Would she still be here, alive? If she's here, would they have ended together? Maybe? There are possibilities.
However, what matters most is not before but rather, now.
For the first time in his life, Alaude knew that he had found something, no rather someone that means much greater to him than his own pride. Well, scratch that, the boy is his greatest pride.
And admittedly, he like how it feels.
"Alaude..."
"Hn."
"Sorry to interrupt but there are papers here that you need to sign. Mostly it would be G handing them to you but since he's quite busy at the moment, I made sure it'll reach your hands" Giotto smiled, showing the few folders in his hand.
"Fine, bring them to my office. I'll follow"
"Okay and Alaude..."
"What?"
"You'll be a great dad for sure"
Alaude stopped on his tracks and stared at his boss, for the first time he looked unsure. "You think so?"
"I know so" Giotto smiled "I'll leave this in your office" Giotto left. Alaude's gaze went towards the still sleeping boy and unknowingly, a small smile crept into his features.
...iOiOiOiOiOi...
"Is this the Orphanage where you've sent them?" Elena rolled her car window down and stared at the orphanage's gate with much longing. Wishing that the gates will just open then her twins will come running happily at her.
"Yes, this is the place. Are you ready?" Kei opened the door and walked out of the car before walking over and opening the other door for his friend. "This is it, Elena..."
"I feel nervous. What if they hated me? What if they're no longer there? What if they refuse to come with me?" The lady clutched her purse tightly. "I won't know what to do if it happens"
"It'll be fine and I'm the one who made the mistake. I'll help you clear things out"
"Thank You."
"Let's go"
"Hai" Elena walked side by side with her friend. Him trying to give an assuring aura that everything will turn out fine. They reached the head nuns office a few moments later. "We're here"
Kei knocked on the door.
"Come in please" The voice of an elderly woman was heard. Kei opened the door, waiting for Elena tok enter first before following and closing the door shut.
"Ah I see, visitors. How may I of service? Perhaps you couple would want to adopt a child and help provide a better future?"
"Oh, we're not a couple" Kei imediately corrected the misunderstanding.
"Actually we're here for my kids" Elena spoke up.
"Kids?" The nun asked.
"Yes her kids. About nine years ago, I came into this orphanage with a pair of twins. A boy with a pair of heterochromatic eyes and a girl with violet orbs, I left them with a nun named Sister Violeta"
"Sister Violeta passed away five years ago but I do know the twins you speak of, Mukuro and Chrome. They do stick with each other like glue"
Elena's eyes looked hopeful. "Are they here? Can I take them home?"
"I'm sorry but it won't be that easy" The nun, sister Agatha spoke "We have protocols and certain rules we have to follow, after all we do prioritize the safety and well-being of all kids under our care"
"What protocols? What do I still have to do? I am their mother and I have all the right to be with them and them with me!" Elena suddenly felt betrayed. She was their mother for all's sake. She's got every right to be with her kids. The hell with protocols.
Kei simply patted his friend's back and gave the nun an apologetic look. "Sorry, please forgive her. It's just that she's been longing for her kids for so long, we really can't blame her"
"Sorry we're just following the process" Sister Agatha looked at Elena with pity. She had seen in the woman's eyes how much she really wanted to be with her kids. "We have to abide by the laws, it is after all for the children's welfare"
"What do I need to do?" Elena finally asked, determined. She'll do anything, anything just to get them back.
"First we need documents stating that you are indeed their mother, a hospital or baptismal record will do. Second we need a written statement from the one who held the kids from adoption that yes, indeed you are their parent. Third, you should provide official clean records from the police and a copy of your annual income, to assure us that you will be able to provide the kids with everything they will need."
"I can do all that. Is that all?"
"One more. If you are to adopt, regardless of the case that the child/children in reality are your own kids...You have to be at a legal age and should be married"
Elena's eyes widened. "M-married?"
The nun simply nodded.
...iOiOiOiOiOi...
"Whose room is this?"
"That's Uncle Alaude's room. Oh, you guys haven't met him yet! He's really cool!" Tsuna nodded brightly but stopped seeing Hayato reaching for the doorknob "Don't go there without permission. He hates it when people goes inside without him knowing" Tsuna warned.
"But what if the UMA is there, Tsuna-sama?"
"Yeah, what if he's hiding the UMA?"
"Well, I don't think he's interested on them" Tsuna pondered. "But we can go check real quick!"
"Don't make too much noise, baseball-freak!" Hayato glared while Tsuna winced as the door made a slight squeak when Takeshi opened. "Haha, sorry!"
"Be careful! Don't destroy anything!"
"Shhh..."
"Hey I think there's someone sleeping! I think it's an UMA!"
"That's not an UMA! That's a boy, stupid!"
"Wow, he looks like uncle Alaude..." Tsuna stared at the still sleeping boy with amazement, inching closer and closer...just then, Kyoya's eyes shut open "Herbivores." He glared.
"Hiiiiiiiiieeeee!" Tsuna stumbled, butt first on the floor having been surprised by the sudden event. "S-sorry!"
"Hn."
"He's talking alien language Tsuna-sama! I now agree with baseball-freak! He's an UMA!" Hayato's eyes sparkled with fascination "Do you think your uncle Alaude will let us open his brain?"
"Haha~ I wonder what UMA brains look like!"
"I am not an UMA, whatever herbivorous animal that is. Explain where I am or I will bite you to death." Kyoya sounded so irritated right now.
"You're in Uncle Alaude's room, nii-san" Tsuna stood up from having stumbled down and smiled at the sligthly older boy not bothered by his glare from earlier.
"Hn."
"So are you Uncle Alaude's son? What's your name?" Tsuna asked, eyes sparkling with the eagerness to know. The three other boys ended up finding the sight adorable.
"Kyoya" The boy avoided the younger ones gaze. Curse weakness for adorable and cute things.
"Nice to meet you Kyoya-nii! I'm Tsunayoshi Taru but call me Tsuna!"
"Takeshi Yamamoto oh I mean Takeshi Ugetsu now! And I love baseball! We should all play sometimes! I'll teach you to make the bat go swiiiissssssshhhhhh! And swoooossssshhhhhh!"
"Hayato. Just Hayato for now since I might change my last name. Mother said so"
"Hn."
Just then, Tsuna's stomach grumbled making him shy away with embarrassment. Takeshi chuckled and placed a hand over the other boy's shoulder. "I'm a little hungry too. Let's go get something to eat!"
"Oi! Don't place your filthy hands at Tsuna-sama's shoulder! You'll taint him with your germs!"
"Herbivores. Stop being noisy or I'll bite you all to death"
"Nii-san do you want to come with us?" -Insert the face of an adorable and curious Tsuna-
"I suppose I can tolerate crowding at this instance." Kyoya grunted.
"I want sushi" Takeshi cheekily stated "...and milk"
"Who the hell combines sushi with milk?" Hayato growled at the taller boy.
"Me! It's tasty you should have some! It will make you grow strong, happy and healthy!"
"No thanks! I don't want to catch your weirdness!"
...iOiOiOiOiOi...
"Remember the last day we saw each other?" Lavina spoke, guiltily.
"How could I not? You broke up with me and walked away without explaining" G answered. A look of betrayal on his face. "I would have listened you know. We could have fixed it, patch things up if there had been a problem. I know I'm not perfect but damn, we both know how much I love you"
"I'm sorry, I know how you feel and If I had a say to my situation back then I wouldn't have broken up with you." Lavina clenched her hands, a drop of tear falling from her left eye. "But I was weak back then. I couldn't fight my way out but god knows how much I've wanted to resist but they have something of my weakness and I..."
Unable to finish what she wanted to say, Allegro who had been silently listening to the two decided to speak up. "That day she broke up with you, her family was threatened by my family"
G's eyes widened with shock "What do you mean?"
"Lavina's family had been greatly indebted to my family for years until the point that their whole family business had ended up to bankcrupcy trying to pay whatever they owe us."
"What does it have to do with us? With me?"
"When Lavina's parents can no longer pay up, my parents came up with a proposal. They wanted Lavina to be married to me thinking that another woman in my life will take me out of my grieving. You see, I had just lost my first wife back then. Of course, Lavina's parents refused deciding that their daughter's life is more important but..."
"Allegro's parents...They threatened my family. They took whatever was left of our fortune and they sent my father to jail, framing him with a crime he never committed and my mom had been so devastated she had an attack which took a great toll on her, she was confined inside a hospital, almost lifeless"
"In the end, despite Lavina's parents trying to protest, She agreed to my parents want and had to break up with you. Our wedding was held a week later despite both of us simply being forced into it. Her for the parents she love dearly, me for being pushed fiercely out of my grieving state"
"It wasn't another week later before I found out about my condition. I was pregnant with my child, our child. Nothing ever happened to me and Allegro and you're the only man I've ever slept with"
"When we found out. I've considered annulling our marriage back then and simply set her free but something terrible happened" Allegro looked down at his own shoes.
"What happened?" G asked
"During one of her weekly check-ups. The doctor found out that Lavina had been diagnosed with a heart disease" This news greatly shocked G, he stared at the other man with disbelief "You are kidding me"
"No he's not. I was really sick" Lavina stated. "The doctor considered abortion but I never agreed, saying if I do die at least I would have saved the most precious gift I could have ever imagined from you and so I've decided to keep the child inside me. That child was Hayato"
G's eyes widened. Mouth slightly opened to show his shock.
"When we found out, I proposed an annulment" Allegro stated "During those short period of time that I spent with her, I realized how much she loves you. I know, I have felt how it is to love and to be loved and Lavina is a nice lady, I would have wanted the best for her. She was hesitant at first, thinking about her parents and what my family would do to them but I managed to convinced her and so we settled on an agreement. We are to sign on an annulment after four months...but things didn't work out as we wanted it too, Lavina became more ill as the days passed by to the point that she practically lived inside the hospital"
"Allegro decided to postpone the annulment, he focused on taking care of me" Lavina spoke
"Then funny thing, during that course I ended up falling for her. I've seen how she would still smile despite her condition. The way her fingers gracefully slide over the piano keys and how well she plays it. I've seen how she treated my daughter as id she was her own. I've seen how she anticipated Hayato's arrival" Allegro looked at G "It was unintentional, I never meant for it to happen. It just sort of did"
G just nodded but there was a certain glint in his eyes that seems to show pride and love. "It's really easy to fall in love with Lavina. She's unique, one of a kind"
That made the woman blush. "W-well...Uhm..." Allegro laughed heartily while G's face reddened with embarrassment. "S-sorry"
"What are you apologizing for? That is indeed true" Allegro smiled.
"Ah, let's get back to the topic at hand" Lavina managed to spoke, avoiding further embarrassment. The two men nodded in compliance, however all three stopped when a knock was heard.
"Come in" G's voice rang inside the room. A maid pushing a trolley of goods came in "Master G, I've been told by Master Giotto to bring you snacks."
"Put it in the table" G nodded "Thank you"
The maid did as she was told, took the trolley and placed it near the door, bowed down before closing walking out, door shutting with a soft thud.
"Shall we dig in?" Allegro asked, picking a small plate with a slice of Mango cake. "Eat while we chat?"
Lavina eyed the whole table of snacks and smiled as she saw one strawberry parfait. G smiled at this, so it's still her favorite. The man took small plate with a few apple tarts.
Their conversation resumed moments later.
...iOiOiOiOiOi...
"Tsuna!" Giotto's voice echoed throughout the hallways. He sounded really happy and excited.
"Tsuna I think uncle Giotto is looking for you" Takeshi spoke as they heard someone calling the brunet. The said boy stood up from the kitchen counter and rushed towards the door "I'm in the kitchen papa!"
"I'll be right there"
Tsuna hearing his father's words went back to his friends and continued eating his snacks. The head chef had been gracious enough to make them sandwiches and mango-orange juice.
Giotto walked in moments later. "You all seem to enjoy each other's company" The don smiled as Tsuna rushed towards him for a hug. Takeshi waved his hands "Hello uncle Giotto!"
"Hello to you too, Takeshi" Giotto smiled before his eyes darted towards the two other boys "You must be Hayato and you're Kyoya. I'm very pleased to meet you two. My name is Giotto and I am Tsunayoshi's father. Your dad's are close friends of mine"
Hayato instantly bowed ninety-degree "An honor to meet you, Tsuna-sama's dad!"
"Uncle Giotto will do" Giotto smiled, silently pondering as to how the boy ended up calling his son with a sama.
"Are you a carnivore?" Kyoya asked, eyes calculating. Giotto blinked before nodding "I suppose I am" Well he does eat meat, ah well more of an omnivore since there are those green, leafy veggies too. Wait! Why is the kid asking anyway? Does he look like he's not eating much?
Well, he does look physically fit the last time he checked...which was earlier that morning, in front of the mirror.
Maybe his and Kyoya's definition of the word are exactly opposites? Seems valid.
His intuition tell's him he's right.
"Papa why are you looking for me?" Thoughts interrupted by his adorable son. Giotto smiled showing a letter "You have a letter from your Mama and Basil-nii!" Tsuna's eyes widened with excitement. "Really? Can you please, please read it for me? I can't read big words yet!"
"Okay but we'll do it before you go to bed, would that be fine?"
"Okay!"
"Good boy. I'll hold on to your letter for now" Giotto simply ruffled his son's already untamed hair "Finish your food. I have to go do some work"

One week later...
Ding dong! Ding dong! Diiiiiinnnnggg!
"Coming!" Lampo lazily walked towards the door with an eye closed. Of all times, why would Giotto have all the maids on a holiday? Now he had to move from his comfortable position on the sofa and for what? Open the door? Doors should be opened for him, not the other way around!
Not that he won't do it for other people anyway.
"Yes, may I help you- Oh, wow! You're that famous celebrity! I'm a fan! Ugh, Elena, right?" Lampo's eyes twinkled.
"That's me, and you are?" Elena giggled reaching her hand for a shake.
"Ah, Lampo..." The younger boy did the same. " Pretty sure you're not here to make me famous, so what are you here for?"
"Ah, right... is Daemon here?"
"Daemon? You know of him?"
The woman nodded "I really need to talk to him, is he here? If not where can I find him? Please tell me!"
Lampo's eyes narrowed. What the hell did Daemon did this time? "Come on in and have a sit, Daemon's here. I'll go call him"
"That would be great, Thank You"
"...No problem"
Hope you guys enjoyed reading.
Next chapter will mainly focus on the twins, Daemon and Elena and oh, Ryohei will finally make his appearance and Hayato's will continue. Plus a few more that could happen...depends on whatever comes to mind.
And oh, last chance with my Lambo related question. Do you want him with a mom or not? So far, with a mom is winning.
I'm out for now.
Reviews make me happy:) It does! So make me happy, drop a review! XD
