Finally an update, Merry Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/etc! Maybe I will give the gift of actually adding a new chapter on time, or at least before the new year starts! Enjoy! PS sorry if this is poorly edited, my brain hurts from work overload this past week.

An Unbelievable Confession

"Erza, what's wrong? You're extremely pale." Mirajane spoke softly.

"Mira, I'm pregnant." Titania disclosed with an uncertainty in her voice, for she was still in shock that this was in fact reality.

Mira's eyes widended at first, only to be shortly replaced by a smirk and a raised brow. "Good one, Erza." She stated sarcastically.

"Excuse me." Erza replied, completely taken off guard by her friend's reaction.

"Oh Erza." She sighed, then let out a short giggle. "I don't know how to break this to you.." She started, looking at Erza, who was beyond confused.

"Well it's just that..well...your pranks really aren't that good. There I said it! I'm sorry I had to be so harsh, but that really was a terrible one." Mirajane confessed, sighing with relief.

"Prank?" Titania blinked, trying to register what the girl was talking about.

"It's ok, you'll get better at them." Her friend continued, causing Erza to stare blankly.

"While we're at it, your drawings aren't that good either. Oh, and your writing! Who taught you how to write a letter? We definitely need to work on that one." Mira continued.

At this point, Erza wasn't even paying attention to what Mira was saying. She watched the girl's mouth move, but the words weren't reaching her. How had her confession suddenly turn into an intervention?

"But I must say, your acting is getting really good! You really played the part well, you easily look like you could have lost five pounds just from being sick...Oh no, Erza.." Mirajane started again.

Took you long enough, Mira. Erza thought as she raised a brow and crossed her arms. "I told you I was-" She began to speak, that is until Mira cut her off.

"Don't tell me you made yourself sick just to pull this thing off?! Oh Erza, I know you tend to be very passionate when you have something in mind, but this is just taking it too far." Erza's mouth hung open in disbelief.

"I mean, really if you have to go to such extremes to make someone believe a lie, then you should just think of another prank all together." Mira lectured.

"Mira." Erza hissed, her blood pressure rising rapidly.

"Seriously Erza, making yourself sick?! I thought you were smarter than that!" The silver-haired woman continued with her rant, causing Erza to grip the wood from the seat underneath her.

"Mira, I didn't make myself sick, I'm actually pregnant."Erza contended through gritted teeth.

"See, that's where you're going wrong! If you're going to trick someone and really get away with it, it's got to be something believable!" Mira protested.

"MIRA, I-" Erza shouted as she jumped from her seat, but suddenly she lost her voice as her eyes rolled to the back of her head. The last thing Titania heard was Mira's voice yelling her name, slowly fading out along with her vision, her body plummeting towards the floor.

"Erza!"

"Erza. Erza, please wake up." A sweet voice pleaded, from a distance. The scarlet knight opened her eyes slowly and allowed her vision to return. Erza felt a gentle touch cup her cheek. She looked up to see Mira staring down at her intently, a deep look of concern worn on her face.

"Mira." Erza mumbled, causing said woman to sigh instantly with relief. "Oh, thank Mavis, you're alright. Erza you really gave me a scare there."

"Erza, what's going on with you?" Mira inquired, brushing crimson locks away that were stuck to Erza's forehead due to a cold sweat.

"I told you, I'm pregnant." She confided.

"But you can't be, I thought that you couldn't..." Mira remarked.

"As did I." Erza confessed.

"But, there's just no way." Mira muttered.

"Well, technically there was a minuscule chance." Titania disclosed, still uncertain how she fell subject to negligible odds.

"I know about that, it's just well, how do I put this..." Mira started, hesitantly.

"Spit it out, Mira." Erza knew by her friend's tone that Mira was about to give her input on the situation.

"Well it's just that..you do realize you need some, uh, well male involvement in your life to actually become pregnant, right?" The girl suggested.

And there it was.

"Are you implying I don't receive any "male involvment" in my life." The redhead spat, raising a brow at her comrade.

"Well, uh, yes." Mira replied curtly.

"I could have all of the male involvement I wanted!" Erza defended.

"I'm not disagreeing with you on that, but let's be real Erza, you're not exactly approachable when it comes to men. They tend to be intimidated by you, and the ones that do try to hit on you end up injured. Have you ever actually been on a date with someone?" Mirajane inquired.

Erza opened her mouth to speak.

"A date that didn't end with the guy being thrown through a wall." Mira added, to which Erza sighed in annoyance.

"Well, no...but that is besides the point! I'm telling you, there was "male involvment" and I am in fact with child!" Erza maintained.

"You're sure you didn't just eat too much cake? You know when they call it a food baby, it's not actually a baby Erza." Mira declared.

"MIRA." Titania barked.

"Alright, alright, you're pregnant! I still don't understand how. Didn't Porlyusica say that it would take some kind of incredible power in order for this to happen? So one could assume this, ahem, involvement came from a powerful mage, but who?" Mirajane pondered out loud.

Erza just sat in silence, too embarrassed to disclose the fateful night. Titania was shameless when it came to most things, but the thought of her discussing her intimacy with Jellal was something that even for her was too much to handle. The Queen of Fairies was still flustered by mere thought of what had happened between them.

"So which one was it?" Mira interrogated. Erza was still unable to say, her mind now in a fog, desperately trying not to replay the night once more in her mind.

"Alright, then I suppose I will just have to figure it out myself! Let's see, uhh...Gray? It's always seemed like he's had a small thing for you." Mira stated causing Erza's eyes to widen.

"Gray interested in me?! You're trying to tell me he may have been thinking perverse thoughts about me all this time?! I will kill him!" Erza shouted.

"Well that answers that question." Mira sighed. "See what I mean about approachability?"

Erza shot Mira a glare. "Alright then, moving on!" She replied cheerily, not wanting to find out what pregnant angry Erza was like.

"Natsu!" Mira continued.

"That's a joke, right?" Erza replied without a trace of amusement in her voice.

Mira continued with the other male members of Fairy Tail, to which Erza denied every one, thus causing Mira to expand to other guilds. Erza began to grow bored, barely paying attention anymore as her friend named off every mage on earthland with a penis.

"Ichiya?" Mira added on from her extensive list.

"MIRA!" Erza shrieked, to which Mirajane just giggled.

"I knew you stopped paying attention awhile ago, I needed something to get you to listen again. Plus, I was dying to see your reaction to that." She teased with a devilish smile. "But you actually look like you're going to be sick now so I won't do that again, ok which leads me to Mystogan, I mean he's technically Fairy Tail, but not really anymore because he's in Edolas...Wait." Mira stopped, her eyes suddenly wide as she looked right at Erza.

Erza's gaze darted away from Mira's, a slight flush creeping up onto her cheeks.

"It can't be." Mira whispered and the shade of crimson residing on Titania's face deepened.

"Erza! When?! No, more importantly why did you not use protection! A contraception spell at the very least!" Mira was practically shouting in hushed tone.

"I didn't think we would need it! Last I was aware, I wasn't able to concieve!" Erza whispered back, praying no one was listening outside of the room.

"Good point, but still there's no such thing as too much safety! Anyways, back to my question, when did this happen?!" Mira continued.

"Word somehow traveled back to him about the news I had received. Long story short he came to visit and check on me, he wanted to try and help." Erza replied, the blush still apparent.

"Well clearly he made you feel a lot better, enough so that now you're pregnant with his child!" Mira remarked.

His child. The words hit her. She placed a hand lightly on her lower abdomen. I'm carrying Jellal's child. She thought. Suddenly she was hit with an overwhelming mix of emotions, particularly joy and fear.

"Erza, are you alright." Mira questioned, concerned by Erza's sudden silence.

"Of course I am, just feeling slightly nauseous is all." The scarlet mage asserted.

"Erza, I know you better than that. You put on a brave front, but it's alright to be scared." Mira assured her, placing a hand on top of her own.

"Mira, I'm terrified." Erza whispered and Mira embraced the girl, hoping to provide comfort and give her a sense of safety.

"What if I lose it? Her voice cracked. She suddenly wasn't in control of the situation, and in turn she felt completely helpless, a sensation that was foreign to Titania. Normally when the lives and well-being of her comrades rested in her hands, she was always ready to lay down her life in order to ensure their safety, but now, with this tiny human growing inside of her, in a so-called hostile environment, she felt like a ticking time bomb.

"Maybe I should stop this all, while it's still early." Erza suggested, surrendering before it was too late.

"You're talking nonsense, Erza!" Mira scolded through gritted teeth. "You won't lose it! You're Erza Scarlet of Fairy Tail! You've never let a challenge intimidate you, plus look at you, you're pregnant for Mavis' sake! You've beaten the odds already, whose to say you can't do it again?!" Mira cried out, her finger nails digging into Erza's arms as she gripped onto the Queen of Fairies.

Erza looked up at Mira through tear soaked lashes, desperately trying to not cry.

"Look, I'm not saying it's going to be easy. This will be a tough battle, but we're all here for you. You've never let any one of us down so we sure as hell aren't going to let anything bad happen to you or to the future newest member of Fairy Tail." Mira assured softly, her grip lightening on her friend.

Erza nodded, still unable to find the words to say.

"Does he know yet?" Mira inquired.

"No." Titania spoke. "He just left for a mission, could be months." She continued.

"Well the timing is far from perfect, but it's not like you're going to go through this alone." Mira confirmed while holding her hand out, to which Erza grabbed it and smiled softly.

"Let's go, we have a lot to plan for." The silver-haired mage stated, smiling at her friend.
