Three hunters slammed the doors of the impala before walking across the street to a run down looking house while wearing torn jeans and dark coloured jackets. Dean had dark circles under his eyes from a restless sleep, not a good start for a day full of hunting. Sage and Sam on the other hand were fully rested, ready to seize the day. Their guns and long sharp knives were tucked behind their backs or in their boots, prepared for any situation that would come their way. They slowly walked towards the house regurgitating the game plan they already went over a million times, "Okay one more time. Sage you confirm by giving us the signal, while Sam and I come from either side of the house and push him inside. Then we finish off the bitch."
The two other hunters nodded their head in approval. Sage untied her hair making it fall elegantly on her shoulders, she then arched her back and adjusted her bra revealing a significant amount of cleavage. Dean and Sam looked at her bewildered, "What are you doing?"
"Just making it a little easier to identify him"
"By doing that?"
"Precisely. Human, or Creature all males think the same way" She winked at the boys and swayed her hips provocatively while walking up the porch steps. Dean looked on with eager eyes proving that what Sage said was nothing short of accurate. Both brothers went to their designated spot on either side of the house, watching Sage protectively as she knocked on the door.
A groggy, messy haired, dirty looking man answered. He looked relatively normal aside from the preposterous amount of filth on him. Sage gave him a quick one over then pitched her voice an octave higher hopefully eluding an atmosphere of vulnerability, "Sorry to bother you mister, but I am conducting a survey on behalf of the town council. I was wondering if you could answer a few questions."
He scratched the back of his neck and squinted in her direction, which unfortunately prevented her from seeing his eyes properly. Looks like I am going to have to drag this out she thought to herself, "Its only ten questions, shouldn't take up too much of your time."
"Fine"
"Much appreciated sir. So on a scale of 1 to 10. 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, rate your experience in these situations. The first being.."
"Aren't you going to write my answers down?"
She raised her eye brows and tucked her bottom lip underneath her top one, "Pardon me?"
"You said you were taking a survey, yet you have nothing to write with" Giving her a suspicious look he leaned in closer, "Who are you anyway?"
Instinctively her body went into defensive mode, her left leg was now behind her right allowing her to easily maneuver in case things escalated quickly. She has to recover the conversation, or at least until she got a better look at his eyes, "As I said sir, I work on behalf of the town council" She pulled out her cell phone from her back jean pocket, "We have decided to save paper by conducting the survey on electronic devices. I was going to type your answers on my phone, is that going to be a problem for you?"
The man looked down at the phone and noticed with no subtlety the full perfectly rounded breasts that rested prominently on her chest. Her cleavage was pronounced and enticing which made his eyes widen with desire. Works every time, she thought to herself. Without him noticing she moved a little closer then spoke in a higher tone to hopefully get him to look at her instead of her breasts, "Excuse me sir, are you alright?"
Startled out of his gaze he looked at her with large eyes which allowed her to get a full glance. It was such an odd thing seeing her reflection upside down, though she should be used to these things in her line of business. There was something surprisingly disturbing about it, probably because something that was supposed to be an everyday natural experience was now in a state of perversion. Either way her hesitant expression blew her cover, preventing her from yelling the signal when the mans large hand was now roughly pressed to her mouth. He dragged them into the house slamming the door behind them, making sure to double bolt it which made it extremely hard for anyone to get in.
Within seconds both brothers were trying to kick down the door ultimately failing miserably. Dean was absolutely frantic, terrible images now flooded his mind of what that sick monster could be doing to her. He cocked his shot gun, "SAM, MOVE!" and shot the bolt on the door. Ramming the door with his full body weight he stumbled into a long dark wooden hallway. His eyes were wide and probing, scanning the sparsely decorated home for Sage. She was nowhere to be seen or heard, which concerned him a great deal.
"SAGE!" No response.
"You take upstairs and I will cover the basement"
"Wait, Dean. Don't you think that we should stay together, I mean this isn't an easy creature we are dealing with here"
Completely ignoring his younger brother he gave him a stern glare that was not to be argued with. Sam yelled after his brother, "At least be careful!"
Dean quickly went down the stairs with his flashlight crossing onto his right forearm with the gun in the other hand ready to pull the trigger. He strained his ears to hear the slightest sound, but minutes passed and all that surrounded him was dead silence. Just when he was about to join his brother upstairs the smallest whimpering sound came from underneath the stairs. He peeked his head around the staircase and to his relief saw Sage but before he could get to her he was met with a surprise blow to the head knocking the gun and flashlight out of his hands. Muffled screams were coming from Sage, while Dean was being tossed around the room like a play toy. She frantically fiddled with the silver tape tightly wrapped around her hands, but it was no use. She had to sit and watch helplessly while the man she loved was beaten to a pulp. Luckily Sam heard the struggle not long after and came barreling down the stairs yelling Dean's name. His flash light was now shining on a bloody semi-conscious Dean collapsed on the ground with the creature looming over his body. "HEY!" The Aswang twirled around to meet a rusty looking machete slice across his neck. The head smacked against the ground right next to Dean, Sam maneuvered around the body and shook his brother lightly, "Dean, hey. You okay?"
He answered with a painful groan, "Go check on Sage"
Sam quickly made his way over to Sage, her hands and feet were both bound with tape. He pulled out a knife from the back of his jeans and cut through the material. There was a deep gash etched into her cheek making it difficult for her to speak, "Is Dean okay?"
"He will live. What about you?"
"Im okay. Lets get out of here"
Hanging onto the railing of the stairs for support she lifted herself up but was instantly weakened by an excruciating pain surrounding her ribs. Sam caught her before she hit the ground, his eyebrows were now creased with concern, "Woah, woah. Careful"
She was gasping for air, "Something is wrong Sam. Its my stomach"
"Okay, just lie down. I will take a look"
He started lifting up her shirt but was instantly stopped, she dug her nails into his arm warning him, "Sage, I need to see whats wrong with you"
While slowly pulling her shirt up Sage shrieked in pain, her entire stomach was black and blue with bruises. Tears were pooling at the corners of her eyes, "How bad is it?"
Disregarding her question Sam called his older brother, "Dean, I need your help"
"Whats wrong?"
"We need to carry her to the hospital"
Dean quickly made his way over to the two, staring at Sage intently. She glanced up at his battered face, blaming herself for being so weak and foolish. She wanted to clean his wounds and look after the man she loves but she barely had enough strength to breathe let alone look after someone else. Frustrated and in an immense amount of pain she asked the question again through gritted teeth, "How..bad..is..it?"
Dean answered while Sam cleared a path for them to walk, "Your ribs are broken and the gash in your face needs to be stitched" He swallowed before asking the next question that was barely above a whisper, "What did he do to you?"
She noticed the emotion in his voice and would have touched his face gently if she could. Trying to mask discomfort she answered him, "I have had worse" Which was a complete lie, that damn creature relentlessly beat her, if it wasn't for Dean and Sam she would probably be dead from internal bleeding by now.
Sam came running back to the two of them bending over Sage so he could grab her, "Okay, we need to get you into the car. Do you think you can do it?"
"I dont really have a choice, do I?"
Dean noticed her shallow breathing and pulled Sam aside, "One second Sage" Sam looked at his brother with confusion, "I think we should stay here"
"What? Dean are you crazy, she cant stay here"
"Come on Sam, all her ribs are broken. We are going to do more harm than good by moving her"
"What about the cut on her face? Its too deep to let it heal by itself"
"We have stitched before"
"Fine, lets say we stay here. Its going to take a month for her to be fully recovered, dont you think people will find it suspicious when they see us leaving the house?"
Dean quickly glanced at Sage, a muscle in his cheek moved noticing how much pain she was in, "We will stay inside. When we need to get supplies we will go late at night so people wont notice"
Sam nodded in compliance though still not completely thrilled with the idea, "Okay. Only a month."
