Amethyst was happy to curl up on the familiar bed. The trip had been long and she didn't want the human girl to bother her.
"What's this? Bassy got a new kitty!"
Amethyst leapt to her feet as a red head with glasses snatched her off the bed. She yowled and clawed at the strange male as he carried her out to the foyer.
"Grell! Kindly unhand my Neko!"
The red-head stopped and spun toward her master with a wide smile. "Hello, Bassy."
Sebastian rolled his eyes. "Put. Her. Down." He growled out.
"Aww Bassy you're no fun! I came all this way just to see you!" The redhead whined as he dropped the cat unceremoniously.
Amethyst ran over to rub against Sebastian's legs.
Sebastian smiled down at the little cat before narrowing his eyes on the other. "What do you want, Reaper?"
The red-head rushed forward to throw himself at her master. "Nothing at all Bassy! I just wanted to come see your fine ass."
Amethyst was surprised just how much she wanted the red head to get away from her master. She bit his ankle, making the man yelp and hop back, staring at the little cat wide-eyed.
They both jumped as Sebastian busted up laughing.
Grell glared at the cat. "You broke Bassy, you flea-bitten…"
In a flash, the cat girl was standing in front of the red-head completely nude with her fangs bared. "I am a pure-blood and I do not carry pests," the girl snarled.
"Oh my!"
Sebastian finally realized that his little Neko was standing naked in front of Grell and all three servants. "Amethyst, what have I told you about wearing clothes in front of others," he scolded the girl.
She looked down and realized that her master was right and quickly returned to her cat form.
"Sebastian, what is Grell doing here!" Ciel asked from the top of the stairs.
"I came to see Bassy's new pet," Grell gushed.
Amethyst jumped up to bite the red head before running up the stairs to rub herself against Ciel's ankles.
"YOU ROTTEN FELINE! HOW DARE…" Before Grell could say another word, Sebastian grabbed him by the ear and dragged the reaper outside. The door closed on the two and they could hear loud banging outside.
Lizzie came around the corner and bent down a few feet from the large cat. "Hello Amethyst, are you feeling better now?"
Amethyst tilted her head at the human girl and nodded.
"May I hold you?" the human girl asked as she held out her arms.
The cat blinked at her for a moment before nodding and hopping into her arms. Amethyst purred happily as Lizzie scratched her ears.
Ciel watched his fiancé with the cat for a moment before he reached over to scratch the cat as well. "You aren't so bad, I suppose."
Sebastian came back in and glared at the servants who were still standing around. "Don't you have jobs to do?"
"Yes sir," they cried.
When that was taken care of, Sebastian's eyes settled on the two humans holding and scratching his Neko. He swallowed down his irritation at being forced to share his pet's attention once more and joined them at the top of the stairs.
"She's so soft," Lizzie gushed as she toted the cat back to the sitting room.
"Perhaps I should return her to my room, she has had a long day," Sebastian tried to convince the girl to give her up.
"Sebastian, you aren't jealous are you?" Ciel asked with a smirk.
The demon pursed his lips and straightened. "Not at all, master."
Ciel continued to smirk at the demon as they followed his fiancé. "Lizzie perhaps we shouldn't eat with a cat on the table."
Lizzie spun around and pouted at Ciel. "Well, she'll just have to change then." Before either male could stop her, Lizzie marched out of the room. Amethyst continued to purr until they reached Lizzie's room. "You can change back now, we're away from those awful men." Lizzie set the cat on her guest bed as Paula joined them.
The cat girl turned human once more and the maid and Lizzie both gushed.
"You're so pretty!"
"Paula, Amethyst needs a dress so she can join us for dinner, can you help her into one of mine?" Lizzie asked her maid sweetly.
Amethyst tilted her head as she watched the maid pull out an ornate red gown. Her ears twitched forward curiously. "It's so pretty, are you sure I can wear it?"
"Oh yes, I have dozens of gowns," Lizzie said as she sat on her bed.
Amethyst stood when the maid motioned her forward and allowed the woman to put the strange thing around her waist. She yowled uncomfortably when she jerked on the strings of the thing.
"Careful Paula, I don't think Sebastian normally has her wear corsets," Lizzie said softly.
"Why do you wear something that hurts?" The cat girl whined as the maid continued to pull the strings.
"Women wear corsets to be proper and look beautiful," Paula said as she pulled the dress over the cat girl's head.
"Beautiful?" Amethyst wondered. When she looked at herself in Lizzie's vanity she smiled. She looked like a normal beautiful woman if you overlooked the ears. "Do you think master will think I'm beautiful?" she asked with a blush.
"AWWWW!" Both women cried throwing their arms around the little cat girl. "How could he not find you beautiful?" Lizzie gushed as she led her into the hallway.
Sebastian was waiting with Ciel in the dining room, trying not to pace. He wasn't sure what the human woman was doing to his Neko, but her cries were driving him insane with worry. The doors opened and he spun toward the door, his jaw hitting the floor.
Amethyst walked into the room looking like a perfect lady. Lizzie had obviously put her in a corset and expensive gown, and seeing his little Neko dolled up like a grown woman was a bit of a shock.
He pulled out her seat, completely entranced by her. He almost forgot to pull out lady Elizabeth's chair.
Amethyst smiled and kept her head down, pleased with her master's reaction.
"Doesn't she just look so cute?" Lizzie gushed.
Amethyst blushed as Sebastian served the humans dinner. She felt him flick one of her ears playfully as her demon passed her.
"Did you hear me, Amethyst?"
The Neko looked up at Elizabeth quickly and shook her head. "No, my lady, I'm afraid I missed it."
Lizzie shook her head and laughed. "I asked if you were being tutored in the ways of a lady."
Amethyst tilted her head at the human girl, her ears twitching in confusion as she glanced toward her master. "I am a Neko, not a lady."
Lizzie narrowed her eyes on the butler. "Surely, you should still be taught something. You should have music lessons or something with such a sweet voice."
"I don't need lessons to sing well, my lady, Nekos naturally sing well." The cat girl nearly leapt from her seat as the girl squealed.
"Oh, do sing for us Amethyst, please! I didn't know you could sing!"
Sebastian glared at the human girl. "I'm not sure that's appropriate at the dinner table Lady Elizabeth."
Lizzie pouted but dropped the subject. "Well, next time I come, I expect you to sing for us."
Amethyst frowned, and waited until the humans were distracted with conversation before she slipped form her chair and snuck out of the room. She leaned against the wall of the hallway panting as she tried to breathe. The corset was surely too tight, how did humans wear such uncomfortable things. She also hated that her tail was trapped in the folds of the dress. She slid to the floor as she continued to gasp for breath, unable to concentrate well enough to shift forms and escape the clothing.
Her master stepped into the hallway with the metal cart of supper dishes and his eyes widened when he noticed her on the floor. He scooped her up, leaving the cart in the hallway. "What's wrong?"
"I can't breathe," she whined.
Sebastian used demon speed to carry her back to his room. He used his claws to remove the dress and corset, not caring that the gown was ruined.
Amethyst gasped for breath as soon as the gown was removed and collapsed against her master. "Thank you for not making me wear those. I don't think I want to be beautiful that badly."
Sebastian growled softly at the ridiculous thought of her not being beautiful and gently grabbed her chin to make Amethyst look him in the eye. "Who told you that you had to wear such an awful contraption to be beautiful?"
The cat girl looked away from her master as his eyes began to glow. "Lady Elizabeth and her maid told me it was improper for me to walk around without it and that it was meant to make women beautiful."
"Amethyst look at me." He demanded softly. When her eyes met his, he continued, "You are the single most beautiful creature I've ever laid eyes upon. Never let a human tell you otherwise, understand?"
She nodded slowly and Sebastian smiled down at her before brushing a quick kiss over her lips.
"Good girl. Let's get you ready for bed before I have to go clean up and put my master to bed." Sebastian helped her into a night slip.
She grabbed his sleeve before he could walk out. "Do you have to go, master?"
His eyes softened and he offered the girl a smile. "I'm afraid I must. My master has to come first. I promise when my contract is finished, you'll have me all to yourself for a while before I have to take another." He leaned forward and kissed her ear before slipping out of the room.
