It was nearing night time, and Touya and I still have yet to find a place to stay the night.

"Touya, why couldn't we just stay at the pokemon center?"

"Because then we would be far behind, and I want to get the Basic Badge as soon as possible! And I heard there was a daycare up near here," he replied. He obviously expected them to let us stay there automatically.

We eventually reached the daycare, and saw an old man in the front of it. He saw us and waved, smiling.

"Hey! Can we stay here for the night please?" Touya immediately asked. I stared at him, seriously? He was just going to ask before the old guy even got to say anything?

"Well, I suppose, we have some space in the playroom, but-," the poor guy replied, before getting cut off by Touya.

"Great! Thanks! Let's go Touko!" he opened the door quickly and rushed inside. The old man, who was beside me now, chuckled.

"Impatient one, isn't he?" he walked inside the daycare slowly.

"You wouldn't believe," I sighed, following him inside. Inside was... Pretty small. There was a counter in front of us, and to the left was a little room with a green rug. I assumed that was the playroom. Inside that room, Touya was laughing and playing with a small gray pokemon with big ears, while other pokemon surrounded him.

"This Mincinno is so cute! It looks just like the Professor's pokemon!" he lightly tossed it in the air and caught it.

"You must be the visitors staying here tonight," a raspy voice said from behind me. I turned around and saw an old woman, who had a wooden cane under her right hand.

"I hope you don't mind," I said and the old lady shook her head.

"No, no, of course not! I'm sure the pokemon are delighted to see trainers visit."

"We're going to rest now. Have a good night!" the old man and lady walked out of the room silently. I looked around to find a place to rest. There were only pokemon dolls everywhere, and the pokemon. I grabbed a soft pikachu plushie and laid my head on it, closing my eyes.

BAM! There was a loud crash, followed by a tiny shriek. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, what in the world was that?

"Miss, are you okay?" a small child-like voice asked someone.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just crashed into the door," a familiar voice replied. I stood up and slowly walked towards the source of the noise. It was Bianca and a little girl.

"Bianca? What are you-," I started, but was cut off by a her as she hugged me.

"Oh Touko! You're here already! We need your help. Actually, this little girl does, but-," she rambled.

"Woah, slow down! What happened?" She released me from the tight hug and frowned.

"Team Plasma! They stole this little girl's pokemon!" I simply nodded. Of course they did.

"Miss, please save my pokemon!" the little girl pleaded, giving me Lillipup eyes.

"Alright, but... We have to be quiet, Touya and the pokemon are sleeping," I said quietly, glancing back at the resting pokemon.

"Okay, let's go then, Cheren's waiting outside!" Bianca grabbed my hand and rushed outside. But nobody was outside. She looked around, "He must have chased after them, they ran towards the cave over there. Good luck Touko! Bye!"

"Right!" I ran as fast as I could towards the cave, speeding through the tall grass ahead. A Blitzle popped out and started to chase after me, "I'm sorry! I'll battle you later!"

I finally arrived at the cave, and saw Cheren pacing back and forth, tapping his foot. He saw me and sighed in relief.

"At last, you're here. For a second, I thought you weren't coming at all," he pointed inside the large entrance, "They're in there, are you ready?"

I nodded and walked inside without him, "Wait Touko! I asked it you're ready, wait for me!"

Inside, the grunts were leaning against the wall. Immediately, there was one in front of me, another in front of Cheren.

"Are you two seriously still after us? Face it, that kid's never going to get her pokemon back, so stop trying!" one of them shouted in frustration.

"That's what you think," I muttered.

"The kid can't even use her pokemon to it's full potential. Doesn't that make the pokemon sad?" the other explained, "In fact, it's the same for both of you, so why don't you give us your pokemon as well? Better yet, we'll just take them!"

The grunt in front of me sent out a Patrat, and I sent out Pom Pom, who finally went inside it's pokeball.

"Patrat, bite the Aipom!" the Patrat leaped towards Pom Pom and opened it's mouth and bit Pom Pom's tail.

"Pom Pom, use Tickle!" Pom Pom turned around and tickled the Patrat, causing it to let go of Pom Pom's tail and roll around the ground squeaking in laughter.

"Now use Scratch!" the Patrat earned a scratch to it's left cheek.

"Focus Patrat! Use Bite again!" Pom Pom dodged it's attack and scratched it again, causing it to faint.

"Great job Pom Pom!" my pokemon returned to my side and cheered. The Plasma Grunt stepped backwards.

"Wha? How can we lose when we have right on our side?"

"Good job Touko, now return the pokemon you stole to that girl!" Cheren commanded, before a voice sounded in the distance.

"You don't need to return it!" two more grunts came to their aid, and stood in battle stance, gripping their pokeballs, "How troublesome. Not only do you fail to understand, but you also got in our way! Why don't we teach you a lesson."

"Why are you guys acting so self righteous?" Cheren looked at me, "Touko, we've been friends our whole lives. We've got each other's backs when it counts. Let's show them how it's done!"

"Okay, Pom Pom, let's do this!" Pom Pom leapt in front of me, ready to fight.

"Snivy, lend us a hand!" Cheren sent out the green snake pokemon quickly. The two grunts opposing us each sent out a Patrat, and the battle commenced.

"Pom Pom! Use Tail Whip on both of the Patrats!" my pokemon waved it's hand shaped tail around.

"Snivy, attack them with Vine Whip!" Cheren commanded, and the Snivy whipped the two Patrats. The battle continued this way, Pom Pom would use Tail Whip and Snivy would attack with Vine Whip. Soon, the Patrat were lying on the ground, both had fainted.

"We must take pokemon from people, in order to liberate them," one grunt told us.

"What a waste of time. What reason can possibly justify that action?" Cheren sighed.

"Pokemon trainers like you are making pokemon suffer..."

"What do you mean, trainers making pokemon suffer? I don't get that at all!" A team plasma grunt stood next to Cheren.

"Well give you back the pokemon. But be aware of how this pokemon suffers from being used by people. Someday, open your eyes to your own complicity," he handed Cheren the stolen pokemon's pokeball and they disappeared.

"Let's go return the pokemon Cheren," I walked out of the cave with him and found Bianca standing outside with the little girl.

"Thank you Touko! You got the pokemon back, I'm so lucky to have friends like you!" Bianca smiled at me and Cheren.

"Please miss, take these as a thank-you gift!" the little girl gave me some pink and yellow pokeballs.

"Wow, Heal Balls! That's really sweet of you," Bianca told the little girl, then she looked at me, "I'm going to take this little girl back home, so bye bye!"

Bianca and the little girl walked towards the day care. And then I saw Touya. He was running towards us, and fast.

"TOUKO! Why did you leave me there? I could have helped you know!" he shouted, waving his hands around like a maniac.

"Calm down, you were sleeping so I left by myself. If you were up, you could've helped out," I told him, "I'm going to Narcrene City Cheren, do you want to come or not?"

"I would love to, but I want to train here some more. I'll see you later," he walked back inside the cave.

"Are you coming Touya?" I turned to ask him, but he was already running towards the town.

"Wait for me Touya!" I ran after him, Pom Pom hopping on my shoulder so he wouldn't have to struggle to keep up with me, "Touya!"

Okay, finally done. It will get more exciting than this, I promise.

The next update will probably be this weekend, depending on if I'm busy or not with schoolwork. I shouldn't be, but... Yeah..
