Cinderblock Curb Stomp
It was the Raw after SummerSlam, and they would find out the fallout of the pay per view. Stephanie opened the show, talking about her win over Brie Bella, and would be presenting Brock Lesnar with a new belt. Brock had won the WWE title belt, and the World Heavyweight title belt, from John Cena. They had combined the two belts into one for him, and they were giving it to him in a ceremony.
Corey got into her ring gear, and put her belt around her waist. She went to go find Dean. When she did find him, he was carrying a bucket of ice water.
"What are you going to do with that?" She asked.
He smiled at her.
"I'm helping charity." He said.
She raised her eyebrows. The only thing that she could think of, that had to do with a bucket of ice water, was for ALS. Corey laughed.
"Someone is getting a surprise." She said.
"I heard that Seth is being interviewed by Renee Young." Dean said.
"Oh wonderful. This should be fun." She said.
They went to find Seth. He was being interviewed by Renee, and once Renee realised what Dean was about to do, she scurried away as Dean tossed the ice water onto Seth's head. Corey covered her mouth, as she laughed. Seth turned to face Dean, in shock. The water had to be a shock to his system.
"What? It's for charity." Dean told him.
They looked at each other for a moment, then Dean jumped Seth. Dean began punching Seth. Corey debated on whether or not to stop Dean. Security showed up before she had made a decision. They pulled Dean off of Seth, and carried him away.
Corey was about to follow after Dean, but was stopped. Seth had stopped her.
"He's going to regret doing that. Let him know that." Seth told her.
She ripped her arm out of his grasp.
"Don't touch me." She snapped.
Seth was angry. He grabbed her arm again.
"You're coming with me." Seth said.
He pulled her with him, down the corridor.
"Seth, let me go, right now." She told him.
He ignored her, continuing on his way. She exhaled loudly. he had brought her to Triple H's office They barged in while Triple H was talking to Kane. Seth finally released her when they got inside the office. She rubbed her arm where Seth had held her.
Seth complained about Dean, and finally, Triple H gave Seth a rematch against Dean. Seth liked that idea, and immediately agreed with it. Corey rolled her eyes. Triple H told Seth that it wouldn't be another lumber jack match, and he was letting the WWE Universe decide what kind of match it would be. Seth was very happy.
Triple H then turned his attention to Corey. She frowned.
"Corey Dove, I see, congratulations are in order. You got the Diva's Title back." Triple H said.
"Yes, I earned it." She said.
Triple H smiled at her, and gave a nod.
"Of course you did. Now, Kane has told me some disturbing news." Triple H said.
Corey frowned.
"That's too bad." Corey said.
"What happened in your locker room, before your match at SummerSlam?" Triple H demanded.
She frowned, as she flinched, and took a couple steps away from him.
"Your little lap dog got a little handsy. When I refused him, he couldn't take no for an answer." She said.
"Why didn't you come to me about this?!" Triple H demanded.
"Really? He's your little lap dog!" She snapped.
Triple H stood up forcefully, and she took a couple more steps away from him.
"That does not matter! A superstar does not put his hands on any of the Divas, at any time. Whether or not you and I see eye to eye, you don't deserve anyone putting their hands on you." Triple H told her.
She frowned, and crossed her arms in front of her.
"I know that you didn't send him. He said that he wanted to talk to me, and that it had nothing to do with the Authority." She said.
"Don't forget to tell him who pulled Orton off of you." Seth said.
She rolled her eyes.
"I'm sure you already have." She said.
"You act like you wish I would have never pulled Orton off of you." Seth snapped at her.
He faced her. She turned to him, her hands balled into fists.
"No, I just wish it was someone, anyone, other than you!" She said coldly.
She slapped him.
"Enough!" Triple H yelled.
Corey turned away from Seth. She turned her attention back to Triple H.
"Corey, Naomi wants a rematch for the title. She has a rematch clause in her contract. Your match is scheduled for later tonight. Good luck." Triple H said.
Corey gave a nod. Without another word, she walked out of the office. She went to get ready for her match. She headed for her locker room.
As she walked, flash backs of Orton assaulted her. Memories of Seth...saving her. She frowned. Why did it have to be him?
Thinking about Seth, brought up memories of them together. Her heart was hurting. She felt a tear slide down her cheek.
She wiped away the tear, as she walked inside her locker room.
"Where have you been?"
"Triple H's office. Naomi wants her rematch tonight." She told him.
He walked over to her, put his hand to her face, and caressed her cheek.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
She shook her head slightly.
"Nothing." She said.
He frowned.
"You've been crying." He said.
"I'm fine Dean, I swear. Seth is trying to get inside my head again." She said.
Dean pulled her to him, wrapping his arms around her. He kissed the top of her head.
"I'm sorry that he hurt you Corey." He told her.
She sighed.
"Just don't hurt me...I don't think I can handle it again." She whispered to him.
He held her tightly.
"Never." He told her.
"Thank you." She said.
He kissed the top of her head again.
X*X*X
Corey's match was going smoothly, for the most part. The crowd was loving the match. They'd even gotten a few 'this is awesome' chants.
Corey had Naomi wrapped up, and about to tap. That is, until Nikki Bella hit her in the back of the head, with the title belt. Corey fell to the mat, as the ref signalled for the bell. Naomi rolled out of the ring, as Nikki began beating on Corey. Nikki had the belt in her hands.
Corey grabbed Nikki's ankle, and stopped the assault. Nikki looked stunned. Corey quickly swept Nikki's feet out from under her.
Corey stumble to her feet. She ran a hand through her hair, and took a deep breath. She grabbed Nikki by her hair, and pulled her to her feet. Corey got Nikki into position, and performed Dirty Deeds on Nikki.
Nikki was out cold. Corey pushed Nikki away from her, and grabbed her title. Corey hugged the belt to her chest. She caught her breath for a moment. She watched as the ref called for a medic. Corey smirked, then rolled out of the ring. She got up to the stage, and held the belt in the air. The crowd was chanting her name. She blew a kiss to Nikki, and then headed backstage.
She headed for her locker room. Maybe she could make it an early night. Then again, there's never an early night when Dean was around. At the thought of Dean, she smiled. He was a great stress reliever. She bit her lip, as her thoughts began wandering.
Someone put their hand on her shoulder.
"Ms. Dove, Triple H would like to see you in his office."
Corey gave a nod.
"Thank you." Corey said.
The man turned, and hurried away. Corey took a breath, then headed for Triple H's office. It took a minute, but she finally made it to the office. She knocked.
"Come in."
She opened the door, and walked in. She frowned, seeing Seth and Kane in the office.
"You wanted to see me?" She asked.
Triple H smiled.
"Yes. I see you kept your title tonight." Triple H said.
She narrowed her eyes.
"No thanks to Nikki Bella. The woman is just asking for me to teach her a lesson." Corey said.
"You handled yourself very well." Triple H said.
"I can take care of Nikki Bella. So what did you need to see me for?" She asked.
She could feel Seth's eyes on her.
"Down to brass tacks. All of us here in this room know how Mr. Ambrose is, unstable. Seth tells me that you keep him in line, for the most part." Triple H said.
She knitted her eyebrows in confusion.
"I'm a little confused. You called me in here, to talk about Dean, and he's not even here?" She asked.
Triple H studied her for a moment. He was planning something, she could feel it.
"I need you at ringside tonight." Triple H told her.
"Excuse me?" She said.
"Dean Ambrose is unstable, and can snap at any moment. I want you down there to difuse him, so to speak." Triple H said.
"Difuse him? He's not a bomb." She told him.
"Have you not met Ambrose?! That's exactly what he is Corey." Seth told her.
"No one asked you for your two sense Rollins." She snapped at him.
"Corey, Dean could really hurt somebody, when he acts erratic, and irrational, the way he does. I need you to reign him in, just make sure he doesn't go too far off the rails." Triple H said.
This was some sort of set up, she just knew it.
"To what capacity? Do you want me at ringside, or on commentary?" She asked cautiously.
Triple H smiled, as if she'd said exactly what he wanted her to.
"Sit at the table. I don't want you to interfere, but I want you to be ready, if you need to." Triple H told her.
She had a bad feeling about this. She exhaled loudly.
"Fine." She muttered.
"Good. Why don't you get changed, and tell Mr. Ambrose the good news?" Triple H told her.
She bit her tongue, as she nodded. She hurried out of the office. She headed for her locker room. As soon as she got in, she began stripping out of her ring gear. She headed for the shower. She needed a distraction. She turned the water on, and stepped inside. The warm water soothed her aching muscles. However, it did little for her mind.
"Mind if I join you?"
She smiled. He had impeccable timing.
"Of course. I have to talk to you anyways." She told him.
She turned to look at him. He quickly stripped, and joined her, under the water. He pulled her to him, and pressed his lips to hers. It was exactly what she needed. He picked her up, and she wrapped her legs around his hips.
X*X*X
"He wants you down there? And you agreed?!"
Dean was a little shocked, when she told him what Triple H told her. She exhaled loudly.
"Yes, to both. I had no legitimate reason to refuse. He wants me to see something, I just don't know what." She said.
Dean tied the ribbon to her corset dress. It was black, and fit her like a glove. She grabbed her heels, and turned to Dean.
"I don't like it, and I don't trust them. I guess I'll at least be able to keep an eye on you." Dean said, handing her the title belt.
She rolled her eyes.
"You're cute." She said.
"What's that got to do with anything?" He asked.
"Everything, where you're concerned." She told him.
He laughed, and shook his head. He leaned down, and kissed her.
"I have hair and make up, before I can go out to the ring. Do you want to walk me there?" She asked.
"Of course." He said.
He put his arm protectively around her waist, as they headed for hair and make up. They made her hair into loose waves, that fell to her lower back. When they had finished, she looked amazing.
They headed for gorilla, the belt on her shoulder, and her heels were in her hand. They got to gorilla, and Corey put her heels on. Jerry Lawler was on the monitor, announcing the type of match, for Seth and Dean.
Apparently, the WWE Universe wanted to see Dean and Seth go at it, in a 'falls count anywhere' match. Dean liked that.
Dean's theme started. He took her hand in his, and they headed through the curtain, to the stage. Dean took a small pause, for the fans, then continued down to the ring. Dean pulled her close.
"Try to stay out of it. I don't want to get distracted by you." He told her lightly.
She laughed.
"Very funny. You're hilarious." She told him.
He smiled down at her, as Seth's theme started. Corey frowned, as Dean rolled his eyes.
"Have fun." She told him.
He laughed, then pulled her in, to kiss her. The crowd got several decibles louder. Corey pulled away, with a smile.
"You certainly know how to give them a show, Romeo." She said.
He laughed.
"It's easy when you're around. Besides, it pisses Rollins off, to no end." He told her.
She shook her head.
"Enjoy." She told him.
He gave her a quick kiss, then she got out of the ring. She walked over to JBL at the table. She sat next to him, but waved off the head set. She removed her title belt from her waist, and set it on her lap. She watched as the match began.
They started in on each other, punch after punch. Dean grabbed onto Seth, threw him into the ropes, and clotheslined Seth into the mat.
Corey smirked as Seth got back to his feet. Seth hit Dean in the neck, then threw him into the turnbuckle, in the corner.
Dean managed to get Seth out of the ring. Dean grabbed Seth, and threw him at the black partition. Seth fell over it, and onto the other side. Dean sat on the partition, cracked his knuckles, and then swung his feet to the other side of the partition. He got to the other side, and punched Seth. They fought through the crowd. Dean tried pinning Seth, but only got a two count. Dean went after Seth again, exchanging punches.
They made it over to the stage area. Corey was watching on the titantron. She watched, as Dean rolled Seth onto the stage, and got on himself. They fought back and forth, but neither got the upper hand.
Seth was on his hands and knees. Dean grabbed Seth by his hair, and pulled him to his feet. Dean punched Seth in his face.
Seth stumbled down the ramp. He tripped, and rolled down the ramp, towards the ring. Corey laughed. Dean followed after him.
Dean grabbed Seth, pulled him up, and threw him into the ring. Dean looked under the ring, and pulled out some chairs. He slid the chairs into the ring, and got in after them. Dean grabbed a chair, and hit Seth in the stomach, with it.
Dean put the chair, in the corner, between the top and middle ropes. Dean grabbed Seth, and went to throw him into the chair. Seth countered, grabbing Dean, and pushed him, head first, into the chair.
Corey frowned, as Dean was laid out on the mat. Seth was also down. However, Dean wasn't moving, while Seth was. Seth made it to his feet, grabbed Dean's arm, and pulled Dean more to the middle of the ring. Seth pinned Dean, but only got a two count.
Dean pushed Seth out of the ring. Dean flung himself over the top rope, right for Seth. Seth was ready for him though. Seth hit Dean with a kendo stick. Dean rolled around, on the floor, holding his ribs. Corey cringed as she watched Dean. Seth gave Corey a wink, as he grabbed Dean. Corey balled her hands into fists, and frowned, as Seth threw Dean back into the ring. Seth followed, bringing the kendo stick with him. Seth got behind Dean, grabbed him, and put the kendo stick across Dean's face, pushing it painfully into Dean's face.
Dean, somehow, managed to get out of the hold. Seth got to his feet, as Dean made it to his knees. Seth hit Dean with the kndo stick. Dean rolled around in pain for a moment, but made it back to his knees again. Seth hit him again, and Dean fell to the mat.
"You don't deserve her Ambrose. She was mine first. She will always be mine. You're just her distraction." Seth taunted Dean, poking and prodding him.
Dean was up on one knee, when Seth went to hit him with the kendo stick, again. This time, Dean was ready for him though. Dean pinned the kendo stick under his left arm, and stood up in one fluid motion.
Corey clapped enthusiatically for Dean.
Dean and Seth were eye to eye. Seth tried pulling the stick away, but it wouldn't budge. Dean began punching Seth. Dean pulled the stick from Seth's hands, and went to hit him with it. Seth kicked Dean in the chin. Dean managed to catch his balance, as Seth came back around.
Seth kicked Dean in the chest, and Dean flew into the ropes. He bounced back towards Seth again. Seth ducked under Dean's clothesline. Dean turned to Seth, as Seth kicked him in the head. Corey cringed, as she put her hand to her mouth. That looked like it hurt. Neither were pulling their punches.
Seth pinned Dean, but Dean kicked out at two. Seth slid out of the ring, and grabbed a chair. He threw it in the ring, and then got back in. Dean was in the corner, catching his breath. Seth grabbed the chair, and got to his feet, as Dean grabbed the top ropes. Dean pulled himself to his feet.
Seth ran at Dean, with the chair. Dean moved at the last moment, and Seth ran into the turnbuckle. Dean sat on the top turnbuckle, grabbed Seth, and performed a tornado DDT. Dean covered Seth. The ref got to two, before Seth kicked out. Dean hit the mat with his fists, then hit himself across the face a couple times, and got to his feet. Dean went for Dirty Deeds, but Seth managed to reverse it, going for a curb stomp.
Dean, however, moved out of the way, and ducked under Seth's clothesline. He bounced on the ropes, and ran at Seth. Seth ran at Dean. They collided into eachother, and landed on their backs, on the mat. Both were grabbing their ribs.
They got to their feet, and grabbed ahold of each other, punching each other. Dean landed a good punch, and Seth fell to the mat once more. Dean got to his feet, as did Seth. Seth hit Dean. Punch after punch, Dean took it.
Dean finally started punching back. Left, right, left, right, until Seth kicked Dean. Dean was down to his knees. Seth went to hit Dean with the kendo stick, but Dean grabbed Seth's legs, knocking Seth down to the mat. Seth tried hitting Dean with the kendo stick, but it didn't phase Dean in the least. Dean fell back, to the mat, launching Seth into turnbuckles.
Dean rolled out of the ring, and picked the kendo stick up, and slid back into the ring. Seth stumbled to his feet. Seth turned to face Dean, and Dean swung the kendo stick like a bat. He hit Seth right across the chest. Seth was hunched over, so Dean hit his back with the stick.
Dean pinned Seth, but only got a two count. Dean sat up, and smiled. He got out of the ring, rummaged underneath it, brought out a pile of chairs, and threw them into the ring.
Dean got back into the ring, grabbed Seth, and threw him into the corner. Seth fell to the mat, but Dean picked him up again, putting Seth on the top tunbuckle. Dean got on the second rope.
Dean wanted to throw Seth into the pile of chairs. However, Seth regained his balance, stopping Dean's momentum. Seth managed to flip, over Dean, and onto his feet. Seth put Dean on his shoulders, with Dean's feet resting on Seth's back. Seth carried Dean over to the pile of chairs, and power bombed Dean into the pile on the mat. Seth pinned Dean, but only got a two count. They were down, both trying to catch their breath.
Seth was the first to his feet. Corey frowned, when she realised that Kane had joined them. He was wearing his suit and tie. Seth acknowledged him, by pointing at him, and smiling. Kane took a seat next to Jerry Lawler. Corey did not like this. Something bad was going to happen.
Seth kicked Dean a few times, then rolled out of the ring, looking under it. Why was Kane at ringside? Corey tried to focus on the match in front of her. Triple H wanted her to see something.
Her attention turned back to the match, when the crowd started getting louder. Seth had pulled a table out from under the ring. Seth slid the table into the ring, and got in after it. Seth grabbed the kendo stick from next to the table, and started hitting Dean with it.
Dean was down, and Seth started setting the table up. Seth pulled Dean to his feet, wrapped Dean in a head lock, and brought Dean over to the table. Seth set Dean's head on the table top. Seth held it there.
"She's going to sit there, and watch as I break you so bad, they'll be taking you out of here on a stretcher! You'll be out of the picture once again, and I'll sweep her right off her feet!" Seth taunted Dean.
Seth turned, and climbed up to the top turnbuckle. When he got to the top, Dean stood up, and punched Seth in the jaw. Seth sat on the turnbuckle, stunned slightly.
Dean looked at the table, and smiled. He tuned his attention to Seth. Dean climbed to the second rope, grabbed onto Seth, flipped him off the turnbuckle, through the air, and down, through the table, breaking it in half. They laid there on the mat, not moving.
Kane stood, in disbelief. Corey stood, with a gasp, covering her mouth with her hands, in horror. She set her title belt on the chair, and pushed it out of the way. She went over to Dean, to check on him.
"He's down, this is your chance! Pin him!" Corey told him.
He grunted, but began crawling towards Seth, throwing half of the table away from him. The crowd got louder, but Corey wasn't paying attention. She was focused on Dean.
Dean had almost gotten to Seth, when he changed course. Dean got to his feet, and ran for the ropes. Kane had gotten up on the apron, to interfere. Dean knocked him down, forcefully, and he landed on the floor, at Corey's feet. She frowned, and backed away from him.
Dean turned, grabbed Seth, flung him through the ropes, to the floor, next to Kane. Dean bounced off the far ropes, ran at them, jumped over the top rope, and took them out. Corey smirked, as Dean was the first to get to his feet. He winked at Corey, as he grabbed Seth, and threw Seth into the ring again. Dean and the ref followed Seth into the ring. Seth kicked Dean in the chest, as Dean stood, in the ring. Dean fell onto the ropes and bounced back at Seth, clotheslining him.
Dean pounded his fist on the mat. Dean got to his feet, and went straight for Seth. He picked Seth up, and hit him with Dirty Deeds. Seth seemed out of it. Dean covered him.
Kane grabbed Dean's ankle, and pulled him off of Seth's unmoving body. Kane uppercut him. Dean fell to the floor. Kane took his jacket off, throwing it out of the way. He also discarded his tie. Kane grabbed Dean by his hair, and pulled him to his feet. Kane punched Dean, then he slammed Dean's head into the commentator's table, and then threw him towards the steel steps. Dean, however, caught himself, and turned to face Kane. Kane ran at Dean, but Dean dodged him, knocking Kane into the stairs.
Corey was watching all of this up close, and personal. There was very little she could do.
Dean leaned up against the black partition. Corey was about to go to him, when Seth flew past her, at Dean. Dean flipped Seth over the partition, into the crowd. Dean turned his attention to Kane. Dean grabbed Kane, and threw him into the commentary table. Kane rolled over the top of the table, and off of it, into the chairs on the other side of it.
Dean got onto the table, and ran along the top of it. At the end, he jumped, and took out Seth. They were in the crowd. Corey moved over to the other side of the table, the side Jerry usually sat on, so she would be out of the way. She got out of the way, and turned to face the match. Dean had brought Seth back to this side of the partition. Seth started crawling away from Dean. Dean jumped the partition, and stalked Seth. Seth crawled towards Corey. Before Seth could get to her, Dean grabbed Seth by his hair, and smashed his head into the table. Dean pushed Seth to the floor, and pulled the table top off. Dean tore the table apart.
Dean went over to Seth, grabbed him, and put him on top of the table. Dean got on the table. When Dean had gotten on the top of the table, she felt someone grab her, holding her, tightly. She struggled to get away, but she couldn't.
"Stop fighting, Triple H wants you to see this."
"Get your hands off of me Orton!" She snapped at him.
He laughed.
"I'm just doing what I'm told, now watch." Randy told her.
He forced her to watch Kane grab Dean by his throat. Dean dropped Seth, and Seth fell to the floor, as Kane took Dean off the table. Kan then choke slammed Dean onto the table.
Seth got to his feet, then climbed on to the table. Dean was getting to his knees, when Seth hit him with a curb stomp. Dean's head hit the table, and Corey screamed at Seth.
"Get away from him!" She yelled.
Kane revealed some cinder blocks, that had just been uncovered. Corey's stomach dropped. This was bad, very bad. She could hear Randy Orton laughing as he held her. She tried to frantically get away from him, but he had a tight grip on her.
She watched Kane grab Dean off of the table, drag Dean over to the cinder blocks, and forced Dean's head down to the cinder blocks. Seth was on the table, crawling his way closer to Kane, Dean, and the blocks. Seth got to his feet. Corey screamed as Seth jumped, and curb stomped Dean's head into the cinder blocks.
Dean wasn't moving. The ref called for help. Seth couldn't take his eyes off of Dean's battered body. The ref ended the match, telling Seth, and Kane, that they'd gone too far.
"Let go of me Orton, I'm going to kill Rollins!" She told Randy.
She watched as Seth stood up on the table, his eyes never leaving Dean's body. Seth raised his hand in the air.
Medics started getting Dean on a stretcher, as Seth stood over them.
As they got Dean stable on the stretcher, and started walking out, Kane gave Randy a nod.
"This is your fault." Randy told her, in her ear.
With that, he released his grip on her. She stumbled, and fell to her knees. She gasped in surprise and pain.
She got to her feet, when the medics brought Dean closer to her. She touched his arm as he passed her. She shifted her attention to Seth, once Dean had passed by her.
Seth jumped down from the table. Corey balled her hands into fists. She walked over to Seth. Seth turned to face her.
"Corey." Seth said.
She slapped him.
"How could you?! One curb stomp wasn't enough for you?! You just had to do one on a pile of cinder blocks! You went too far Seth, for the last time!" She spat at him.
The ref brought her title belt over to her.
"Corey, what..."
She sprang into action. She gripped her title securely in her hands, and hit him in the head with it. He fell like a sack of potatos. She turned her attention to Kane.
"Corey, you need to calm down, and think about what you're doing." Kane told her.
She shook her head.
"I don't care! Triple H did nothing about Randy. Triple H wanted me to see Seth brutalise Dean! He had Randy hold me so that I wouldn't miss them taking Dean out on a stretcher! Tell me again why I should calm down?!" She demanded.
"Because Randy is authorised to bring you backstage." Kane told her.
She turned, and saw Randy making his way over to where they stood. She frowned, shaking her head.
"This is not over." She said, looking at Kane again.
"Go to the Hospital Corey." Kane told her.
Randy took her elbow in his hand. She pulled it from his grip, and looked up at him.
"I can walk myself. Don't touch me." She snapped at him.
"Let's go sweetheart." Randy told her.
She spun on her heels, and stormed away. She hurried backstage, and to her locker room. She gathered her things together, and put them in her duffle. She laid her title belt on top, then zipped it up. She headed for her car.
She threw the duffle in the back seat, then got behind the wheel. She headed for the hospital. He'd looked bad, when they'd wheeled him past her. She needed to know if Dean was okay.
X*X*X
Corey stayed at the hospital for a while. They actually had made her wait to see him. He currently was sleeping. She quietly walked over to the chair next to the bed. She brought the chair closer to the bed, and sat down. She moved his hair away from his eyes, and sat there, watching him sleep.
About thirty minutes after she got there, Roman showed up.
"Hey baby girl, how are you doing?" Roman asked.
She exhaled loudly.
"I don't know anymore Roman." She said.
He walked over to her, and she stood.
"What's going on baby girl?" Roman asked, as he hugged her.
"You saw Dean's match, right?" She asked.
"Yeah." He said.
She pulled out of the hug.
"Triple H wanted me front row, center for his match tonight. The Authority want me to join them. Seth still wants me, and Randy Orton doesn't take no very well. Randy also told me that it was my fault this happened to Dean." She told him.
Roman frowned.
"None of this is your fault." Roman told her.
"Yes, it is. If I only had done what they wanted, Dean would not be here." She said.
"And you would still be with Rollins. I think we both would agree that would suck."
Corey spun around, to find Dean looking up at them, and frowning. Corey gave a relieved smile, and walked over to him. She leaned down and hugged him.
"You're awake, thank God." She said.
"Hey doll face, Roman." Dean said.
"Dean." Roman said.
"Are you okay? How do you feel?" Corey asked.
"Better now." Dean said.
Corey smiled, and rolled her eyes.
"I'm sure. So, what do you remember from your match?" Corey asked.
"Everything, until my skull connected with a pile of cinder blocks. I also remember wanting to break Orton's fingers for touching you." Dean said, with a frown.
Corey sighed.
"Yeah, well, Triple H wanted me to see what happened to you, but not be able to do anything about it." Corey said.
Dean grabbed her hand, and threaded his fingers through hers. She sat on the bed, next to him.
"Of course, that's how he works. It never was going to be a fair fight. Just don't give in to them, doll face." He told her.
"I'm not going to." She said.
"That's not how it was sounding." Dean said.
She exhaled loudly, and looked up at Roman.
"Dean, it's Corey, you know she'd never do that. You know how she likes to vent." Roman told Dean.
"I know." Dean said.
A nurse came in to check on Dean. She informed them that visiting hours were over, and they had five minutes to say their good byes for the night. The nurse let them have their five minutes.
"I'll give you two time together. I'll talk to you later Dean. Corey, I'll talk to you outside." Roman said.
Corey smiled up at Roman, and nodded.
"Thanks for stopping by Roman." Dean said.
Roman gave a nod. He put a hand on Corey's shoulder, and squeezed gently. He headed for the door, but paused.
"It's about time you two. Everyone saw it before you two did. Hell, even Seth saw it, and he didn't like it. He still doesn't. Seth is jealous, and that's why this happened. Not for any other reason than Triple H giving Seth what he wants." Roman told them.
Before they could say anything, Roman walked out the door. Corey turned, so that she was facing Dean. She smiled down at him.
"Where's your title?" He asked.
"In my duffle, in the car." She said.
"You get it back, and you don't have it with you." He said, shaking his head.
"I was preoccupied, with worrying about you. I got here as fast as I could, once I left the ring." She told him.
He smiled.
"I'm flattered doll face. It definately was better waking up, and seeing you. I was hoping you'd be here." He told her.
He caressed her cheek with his thumb. She leaned into his hand.
"I tried getting to you, before Seth could do it, but Randy wouldn't let me go. I tried Dean, I really did. You have to know that." She told him, her voice breaking.
He nodded, placing his hand on the back of her neck.
"I know doll face. I never doubted it, or you, for a minute." He told her.
He pulled her down to him. She placed her lips to his. He threaded his fingers through her hair.
"Roman was right about something, Seth wants you back, and is jealous that we are together." Dean told her.
She sighed quietly.
"Let's not talk about him right now. Do you know how long you'll be in here for?" She asked.
"They want to observe me for a while, I guess." He said.
"Just do what they ask, so you can leave sooner. Don't argue. Please."' She told him.
He smiled at her.
"I'll try, since you asked so nicely." He told her.
She laughed.
"Thank you." She said, leaning down, and kissing him again.
Someone cleared their throat. It was the nurse.
"I'm sorry, but it's time for all visitors to leave." The nurse said.
"Okay. Dean, be good. I'll call you in the morning. Don't give them a hard time, I'm warning you." She told him.
He rolled his eyes. She gave him a quick kiss, then left the room. She quickly headed for the exit. She got outside, and took a deep breath, to calm, and clear, her mind. She headed for her car, when someone put their hand on her shoulder. She spun around, to see Roman standing there. She smiled.
"Hey, I thought that you would have been out of here by now." She said.
"Jey gave me a ride here. I was hoping you'd give me a ride back to the arena, so I can pick my car up." Roman said.
"Of course! Roman, you don't even have to ask! It's been forever, since we've hung out." She told him.
"Thanks Corey." Roman said.
"Get in." She told them, when they reached her car.
They headed back to the arena. They caught up, until they got to Roman's car. She got out, and walked over to Roman.
"Thank you for coming Roman." She told him.
"He's my brother. Even though Seth has broken us up, I still believe that we are brothers." Roman told her.
She smiled.
"So to speak. I'd be a sister, and there's no way I can consider myself a sister to Dean." She said.
Roman laughed.
"My sister then." He told her.
She laughed along with him.
"I'll talk to you later Roman. I'm going to the hotel, and getting some sleep." She said.
"Okay. Good night baby girl." Roman said.
He gave her one last hug, then she got back into her car. She headed for the hotel. She hurried up to her room, and crashed, hard.
X*X*X
There was a pounding at the door. Corey groaned as she opened her eyes. The knocking continued. She sat up. She ran her hands over her face. The knocking was starting to irritate her. She got out of bed, and grabbed her robe. She slipped the robe on, and headed for the door.
"I'm coming, just a minute!" She snapped.
The knocking promptly stopped. She exhaled loudly.
"Thank you, oh never mind. What do you want?!" She demanded.
Seth Rollins held up an iced coffee. She crossed her arms in front of her, looking at him.
"Can I come in?" Seth asked.
She frowned.
"I'm sorry, but the last time I let someone I didn't trust in, they attacked me." She told him.
"Corey, please, I'm not going to attack you." Seth told her.
"What do you want Seth? Why are you here?" She demanded.
He looked unsure whether or not to say anything.
"Triple H sent me." He told her.
She narrowed her eyes at him.
"Don't kill the messenger. Hunter figured that you were at the Hospital most of the night, and would need...assistance this morning. Which is why I brought you some coffee." He told her, holding the iced coffee up.
"Why should I believe you, or let you inside?" She asked.
"I'm just here to help. I just figured that you'd rather have me help you, rather than Randy Orton." Seth told her.
"How sure of that are you?" She asked.
"Seriously Corey?" He said, in disbelief.
Her lips twitched.
"I should grab my title, and hit you in the head again. Did you really think that showing up here, waking me up, after last night, was a good idea? Seriously Seth?" She asked.
"I can call Orton right now, if you want his help, instead of mine." Seth told her.
She studied him for a moment.
"Dean is going to kill me." She muttered.
Seth grinned.
"I'll be good, I promise." He told her.
He held up the iced coffee for her.
"Did you tell Triple H where you want your body buried?" She asked, as he walked into her room.
He turned to look at her. He looked worried. She bit her lip, trying to stop smiling.
"You're hilarious." He said.
"And you should employ body guards." She told him.
He shook his head.
"You are scheduled for a radio interview soon, and you're nowhere near ready." He said.
She rolled her eyes.
"Maybe you shouldn't have put Dean in the Hospital." She told him.
He sighed.
"Is there anything I can do, to make you less...mean?" He asked.
She gave a laugh.
"You don't have the right to ask that. After everything you've done, you should be kissing the ground I walk on, that I let you in here. I should be taking your hair out by the roots, or calling Roman, to physically remove you from my sight. You don't deserve forgiveness Seth, from anyone." She told him.
He gave a nod.
"Maybe I don't, and you're more than welcome to call Roman. I do have to tell you that if you do remove me, Hunter will send Randy to make you listen." Seth told her.
She exhaled loudly.
"Any normal boss would fire an employee for doing what Orton did. Hell, there would be some sort of repercussions at least. It seems like Hunter is proud of him" She snapped.
Seth frowned.
"Hunter wasn't too happy with Orton about that. It took all of my control not to throttle him, for putting his hands on you." Seth told her.
What Roman had told her last night came back to her. She studied him for a moment.
"Stop talking like that Seth." She told him, taking a step away from him.
"What?!" He asked.
She pinched the bridge of her nose. She shook her head.
"You can't speak like that, about me. Not anymore. You lost that privilege." She told him.
He stepped closer to her.
"I still have feelings for you Corey." He told her.
He went to touch her face, but she moved her head before he could.
"I don't trust you anymore Seth. Excuse me, but I need to get ready." She said.
She pushed past him. He grabbed her arm. She stiffened at his touch.
"I will make it up to you, I promise." He told her.
She felt tears fill her eyes. She looked up at him.
"Let go of me." She said, as a tear fell from her eye.
Seth let her arm go. She went over to her suitcase, and rummaged through it to find something to wear. She could feel Seth's eyes on her. She did her best to ignore him.
She found a pair of skinny jeans, and her Corey Dove WWE shirt. She headed for the bathroom. She dressed quickly, then straightened her hair. She decided against make up, just applying some gloss to her lips
She walked out of the bathroom, as Seth put his phone away. She frowned as she put her knee high boots on. She packed her suitcase. She grabbed everything, then turned to Seth.
"I'm ready." She told him.
"I'm driving." He said.
Sheh stopped in her tracks. She turned, and looked at him.
"Excuse me?" She said.
"I had your rental returned. I have my car." He told her.
Her eyes flashed.
"You did what?!" She demanded.
"Do I really have to repeat myself?" He asked.
"Why? What gives you the right to? Are you high? What were you thinking?" She demanded.
"I was thinking that you would try ditching me the first chance you got." He told her.
She rolled her eyes.
"You're not wrong. Don't do it again. Don't be making decisions for me. Don't assume for me, ever." She told him.
"You're just upset that I still know you so well." He told her.
"Shut up! You're going to drive me insane by the end of the day. You don't know me, at all. Apparently, you never really knew me. So, Hunter had you stop by and assist me. What? Are you dropping me off at the interview, waiting around until I'm done, and then taking me to the next hotel, and venue?" She asked.
"Actually, it's a joint interview. The Diva's Champion and Mr. Money in the Bank, me." He said.
"Are you kidding me?! Seriously?!" She demanded.
"I guess they thought we work well together. We're the future of the company." He told her.
She wanted to scream. She wanted to hit someone. Preferably the man walking next to her.
They made it to the desk, and she handed Seth the room key.
"You're here to assist me, so, assist me, and take care of this. I have a call I need to make." She told him.
He left her. She went outside, and took her cell out. She glanced behind her, to make sure Seth wasn't around. She didn't see him, so she dialed a number. She smiled, and sighed in relief, when she heard his voice.
"I've been waiting for your call doll face. I'm going crazy in this place. What are you doing right now?" Dean asked.
She could hear the pleading in his voice. He hated the hospital. She exhaled loudly. She would love to be there, with him.
"Apparently, I've been scheduled for a radio interview." She said.
"You are the Diva's Champion. You'll be doing more media." He told her.
She rolled her eyes.
"This isn't my first time as Diva's Champ. I know what being the Champion entails. Triple H set up this interview." She said.
There was a pause on Dean's end of the line.
"What's going on Corey?" Dean asked.
She pinched the bridge of her nose.
"I wish I knew." She muttered.
She looked behind her again. Seth was heading for her. She frowned.
"What does that mean doll face?" Dean asked.
"I can't explain anything right now. If I can, I'll try to stop by." She told him.
Dean groaned.
"Call me back, when you get a chance to talk." He told her.
She smiled.
"Are you ready?" Seth asked, coming up to her.
"What was that? Who is that?! That sounds like...is that Rollins? What the hell is he doing there with you?!" Dean demanded.
Corey closed her eyes, and shook her head.
"I swear, I will explain everything, but I have to go." She told Dean.
"Is that Ambrose? How's Deano feeling?" Seth asked.
"Seth, . ! Dean, trust me on this, I will fill you in on what happened, I promise. I need to get to my interview. Good bye." She told Dean.
"Call me as soon as you can." Dean told her.
"I will, I promise." She said.
She hung up, and turned to Seth. He was grinning, like the cat that ate the canary.
"You just couldn't keep your mouth shut, could you?!" She demanded.
"What?" He asked.
She shook her head.
"Just go get the car, so we can get this interview over with." She told him.
"I'll get the car." Seth said.
"You do know that I'd have you fired, as my assistant, if your replacement wasn't worse than you, and didn't make my skin crawl." She told him.
"I'll take it. I've moved up on the list." He said, with a smile.
"Just go get the car." She told him.
He headed for his car. When he brought the car around, she put her stuff in the trunk. She grabbed her duffle, and took her title belt out. She shut the trunk, and got in the passenger side. She laid the title on her lap.
"So, we will do the interview, then head for the hotel." He told her, as he started driving.
"Whatever." She said, looking out the window.
She couldn't wait for Dean to get released back to work. Time would drag on for forever, until he returned. Especially, if she had to do interviews, and media, with Seth.
She rubbed her face, with her hand. She could feel his eyes on her. The drive to the interview might just drive her insane.
X*X*X
Corey was pissed at Seth even more. She knew that it was a bad idea to put them together for an interview. The DJs were fully behind her, ribbing Seth for what he did to her, and the Shield. Of course, Dean had to put his opinion in. During the interview, they had gotten a call. Dean had found the radio station they were doing the interview with, and called in. The DJs were delighted to hear from him. Corey had to intervene between Seth and Dean, who were going at one another, over the phone line. They were acting like children. Some things never changed. She'd have to intervene between the two all the time, when they were all a part of the Shield. It was painful for her. She'd finally gotten Dean off the line, so the interview could continue.
They talked about her for a while, then they talked about Seth for a while. They finally wrapped the interview up, posed for photos, and signed pictures for staff at the radio station, then left the building, heading for the car.
Corey barely looked at Seth as they walked. She got into the car, and looked out her window, as Seth got in. He headed for the hotel.
"Corey, we need to talk." Seth said.
She bit her lip, trying to keep the tears at bay.
"I can't even look at you right now Seth." Corey told him.
"Corey, please." Seth said.
She looked at him, her eyes rimmed red.
"No. You still don't understand anything! You don't realise how much you hurt me Seth! Everything you've done since you broke us up is like a knife in my chest! You don't like that I'm with Dean now, you say you still have feelings for me, but you pushed me straight to Dean! He was there for me when you turned your back on us. You hurt me more than you'll ever know, so no, I don't want to talk to you right now." Corey told him.
Seth gave a nod. She turned her attention out the window. Neither of them spoke the whole way to the hotel.
They made it to the hotel, and they grabbed their suitcases. They headed inside, and Seth got them rooms. Apparently, they were right next to each other.
She went in, and shut the door behind her. She set her suitcases by the door, and pulled her cell out. She dialed a number.
"Doll face!" Dean said.
Corey smiled.
"I should have known you'd do that, when you heard Seth. So, did you enjoy yourself?" She asked.
Dean gave a laugh.
"Yes, I did. I miss you. I'm bored here, and I'm crawling in my skin." Dean told her.
She laughed.
"I miss you too. I wish I could be there with you, but I have the Smackdown taping, and Main Event. I'm hoping I can make it to see you after that. I promise to give you every detail about my day today." She told him.
He exhaled loudly.
"I hate it here." He said.
"I know you do." She said.
"This sucks." He said.
There was a knock at the door.
"I know it does." I'm sorry. Listen, there's someone at my door. I'll call you back later. I will see you later." She said.
She headed for the door.
"Okay. Good luck." Dean said.
She hung up, and opened the door.
"You can't take a hint, can you?" She asked.
"I told you that I would make it right. I want to. I hate not having you in my life Corey. I hate that you hate me." He told her.
Her heart hurt, looking into his eyes. She looked away from him.
"You did that. You pushed me away." She told him.
"I'm sorry Corey. I need to fix this. You didn't deserve this. Let me make it right, please." Seth said.
"I can't trust you Seth." She told him.
"You know me Corey. Look into my eyes, and you'll know that I'm telling you the truth." He told her.
She exhaled loudly, but cautiously looked at him. His eyes were pleading with her. The pain in her heart grew.
"Damn it Seth!" She said.
She moved away from the door, and went to sit on the bed. She put her head in her hands. A moment later, she felt Seth sit down next to her. He put his hand on her back, and rubbed. She sat up straight, and turned to him.
She shoved him, and stood up. Seth got to his feet, as well.
"What was that for?!" He demanded.
"How many times do I have to tell you to stop touching me?!" She demanded.
"Do you realise how much it kills me to see Dean's hands on you?! I screwed up, I admit it! Okay?!" He said.
She pushed him.
"That's your fault! You did all of this! You didn't think of anyone but yourself! Now deal with it!" She told him.
She pushed him again. This time, he grabbed her. She tried pulling away from him, but his grip was secure. She looked up at him.
"Seth, what do you think you're doing?!" She demanded.
He didn't say anything, he just pulled her to him, and pressed his lips to hers. She was in shock, and couldn't move. When she got her mobility back, she pushed him off of her. Tears fell from her eyes, as she put her hand to her mouth.
"Stop, just stop it, right now. You can't just do that anymore! You need to leave, now." She told him.
"Hunter wants me to bring you to Smackdown." He told her.
She wiped away the tears from her face.
"I'll be ready, just get away from me." She said.
He left quietly. She went to the bathroom, and washed her face. She went to her suitcase, and pulled out a short black strapless dress. She quickly dressed, and slid on her heels. Next, she packed her duffle for the show. When Seth had knocked, she was ready. She made him carry her duffle.
She got in to the car, and texted Dean. She asked him how he was feeling? He told her that he was climbing the wall. She shook her head, and laughed. She told him to try to rest.
Seth got behind the wheel, and they headed to the arena. Corey texted Dean the whole time, and ignored Seth. She could feel his eyes on her.
It actually didn't take Seth long to get to the arena. Corey was about to grab her duffle, but Seth grabbed it first.
"What do you think you're doing?" She asked.
"Assisting you." Seth told her.
"I'm going to be speaking to Hunter. If you insist on carrying it, then bring it to my locker room." She told him.
Seth sighed.
"Fine." Seth said.
Corey put her title on her shoulder, and headed inside. It took her a moment, but she finally found Triple H's office. She knocked.
"Come in."
She walked in.
"Corey, how are you doing?" Triple H asked.
"I've had...a stressful day today." She told him.
He seemed surprised by that.
"Did Seth not help?" He asked.
"Are you kidding me? Did you honestly think Seth would be of any help to me? After everything he's done? Are you that cruel?" She asked.
"What are you talking about Corey?" He asked.
She shook her head.
"Why did you send him? Out of everyone on the roser, why Seth Rollins?" She asked.
"What is wrong with Seth Rollins? You were okay with him, in the Shield." He said.
"He turned his back on us! Were you trying to mentally screw with Dean's mind, and mine?" She asked.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"So, you have no clue about Seth's jealousy? Roman thinks that it's obvious." Corey said.
"Jealousy? Seth is jealous of Ambrose?" Hunter asked.
Corey rolled her eyes.
"You don't know, do you?" Corey asked.
"Know what?" Hunter asked.
She pinched the bridge of her nose.
"And here I thought Seth had no morals left." She said.
"Ms. Dove, please explain yourself." Hunter said.
"Is it true that if it wasn't Seth, it would be Randy Orton?" She asked.
"There are only a select few people I trust, Corey." He said.
"Why are you even doing this in the first place?" She asked.
"You are the Diva's Champion. You deserve it." He told her.
"I deserve to be followed around by my ex, who just happens to be jealous of my new boyfriend, and wants me back? I can barely look at him, and you want him to follow me around?" Corey said.
Hunter rolled his eyes.
"It won't be forever, he is Mr. Money in the Bank, he has other responsibilities. I didn't know about you and Seth. I'm sorry, but for now Seth is there to help you." Hunter said.
"Do you like to torment me? Is it fun for you?" She asked.
"After what the Shield put us through, maybe just a little. Would you prefer Randy?" Triple H asked.
She narrowed her eyes at him.
"I should say yes, just on principle, but I like him less than Seth at the moment. Is there no one else?" She asked.
"Not at this moment." Hunter said.
"Of course not." She said.
Triple H exhaled loudly.
"Corey, please, is there anything that I can help you with?" Hunter asked.
She crossed her arms in front of her, and studied him for a moment. She sighed.
"I don't need a babysitter, Hunter, especially if it's Seth, or Orton." She told him.
"I apologise for what you went through with Seth, but I'm sorry. Use Seth. Let him help you with anything you need." Hunter told ehr.
She frowned. She didn't like how he said that.
"That won't be happening." She said.
"You'll be first out against Nikki, then you need to get over to Main Event, where you'll be against Brie." Triple H told her.
She exhaled loudly.
"Fine." She said.
She turned and started for the door.
"The offer is still open, if you change your mind." Hunter told her.
"Good bye Hunter." Corey said.
Corey left, and hurried to her locker room. She quickly changed into her ring gear, and headed for hair and make up. She set her title on her lap, when she sat down in the chair.
They put her hair into loose waves, and did her make up. Someone sat in the chair next to her. She rolled her eyes, when she saw Seth.
"So, how was your talk with Hunter?" Seth asked.
"Apparently, I'm stuck with you. For now." She said.
"It doesn't have to be that bad Corey." Seth said.
She exhaled loudly.
When she was finished, she headed for gorilla. To her dismay, Seth followed her. She turned to him, when they got there.
"You're not going to be going out there with me. I don't care what Hunter wants. I don't want you out there, at all. Do you understand me?" She asked.
He held his hands up, taking a step away from her. Nikki's theme started playing. Corey took a deep breath, and straightened the belt on her shoulder.
"Good luck." Seth told her.
She ignored him, as she got ready for her match.
Nikki's theme cut out. A moment later, Corey's theme started. Corey squared her shoulders, and headed for the stage. She got out to the stage, and paused for a moment. She grabbed the title, and raised it in the air. She heard her name being chanted throughout the crowd. Corey smiled.
She headed down the ramp, to the ring. She slid into the ring, and held the title in the air. The ref took the title from Corey, and handed it off, then signalled for the start of the match. The bell sounded, and Corey, and Nikki, locked up.
X*X*X
Corey and Nikki were at opposite ring posts, across the ring from each other. They were catching their breath. Corey looked over at Nikki. Nikki was starting to climb to her feet. Corey groaned, as she pulled herself to her feet. She leaned against the turnbuckles, in the corner. Nikki ran at her. Corey stayed where she was, until the last possible moment. Corey moved out of the way, and Nikki sailed into the turnbuckles. She crumpled to the mat. Corey fell to the mat, as well. She got to her feet, and went for Nikki. She dragged Nikki to the middle of the ring, and pulled Nikki to her feet. Corey set Nikki up. Nikki was disoriented. Corey performed Dirty Deeds. Nikki lay unmoving, next to her. Corey groaned, as she pushed herself, to sit up. Corey grabbed Nikki, and rolled her onto her back. Corey grabbed one of Nikki's legs, and pinned the Bella twin. One. Two. Three. The ref signalled for the bell.
"Here is your winner, the Diva's Champion, Corey Dove!" Lilian Garcia announced.
Corey's theme started. The ref brought her title over to her. She took it, and held it to her chest. She was breathing heavily, and barely heard the roar of the crowd.
She did hear her theme cut out, and Seth's start playing. Corey frowned, and turned to face the stage area. Seth walked out. He was smiling from ear to ear. He stopped at the top of the ramp. His eyes were glued to her. Corey got to her feet, and grabbed the top rope.
"What do you want?!" She demanded.
Seth clapped. She shook her head. What was he doing? Seth didn't stay long though. He gave a wave, then walked off stage, into the back. Corey shook her head again, then got out of the ring. She headed up the ramp, and back stage. She headed for her locker room.
She changed into a pair of jean shorts, and her Corey Dove racerback tank top. She slid into her sneakers, and packed her duffle. She had just finished packing, when there was a knock at the door. She went to answer it. She rolled her eyes, and frowned.
"What was the purpose of that little stunt you pulled out there?" She asked.
He gave a shrug.
"I just wanted to congratulate you on your win. I came out after the match, so I wouldn't distract you." Seth told her.
"How kind of you, Seth. What do you want?" She asked.
"I'm bringing you to Main Event. I'll get your duffle for you." Seth told heer.
"Be careful with it, it's got my title in there." She snapped at him.
"Of course!" Seth said.
Seth pushed past her, and grabbed her duffle. Corey studied him for a moment. She shook her head.
"What?!" He asked.
"I really hope nobody sees me with you." She muttered.
He rolled his eyes.
"Like being seen with me is that bad." He said.
"We wouldn't want to give people the wrong impression." She said.
Before he could respond, she spun on her heel, and walked away from him. She headed for the car. He hurried after her.
X*X*X
Corey's match with Brie Bella, would be closing out Main Event. When she got to the arena, she was informed that she'd be facing Nattie, on Superstars, the next night. Corey hurried to her locker room, and quickly changed into her spare ring gear. She put her hair into a loose braid. She opened the door, and found Seth standing in the doorway. She rolled her eyes.
"I don't need a babysitter." She muttered.
"Like you'd listen to me." He said.
"Exactly." She said.
She adjusted her title belt on her shoulder, and then headed for gorilla. Seth followed her.
She got there just as Brie's theme started playing. Corey did a couple stretches, before she went out to the ring. Brie's theme cut out, and after a pause, Corey's theme started.
"Good luck." Seth told her.
Once again, she ignored him, and headed for the stage. Corey paused, holding her title in the air. She headed down the ramp, to the ring. Corey slid in, got to her feet, and held the title in the air.
Brie looked bored. Corey handed the title over to the ref, who handed it off. The ref signalled for the bell. Corey and Brie circled each other, and then locked up Corey managed to throw Brie to the mat. Brie grabbed her back, as she arched off the mat. Corey gave a small smirk, went over to Brie, grabbed her by her hair, and pulled her to her feet.
Corey kicked Brie a couple times, then DDT'd the Bella directly into the mat.
*X*
Corey had control, and had it for most of the match. Brie wouldn't be shut out though. She dropped down to the mat, right before Corey could spear her. Corey flew through the ropes, out of the ring, and into the black partition. It knocked the breath out of her. She rolled around in pain, curled in a ball. She hadn't been expecting Brie to do that. She couldn't let that happen again.
Corey used the partition to pull herself to her feet. She pushed herself towards the ring. Corey pulled herself up onto the apron, and rolled into the ring.
Apparently, the ref had started counting, while she had been on the floor. She hadn't realised this, but fortunately, she'd made it by the count of nine.
Corey knew she needed to end the match soon, or else Brie would be the one to end it. Corey used the ropes to pull herself to her feet. Brie got to her feet as well, and turned to Corey. Corey took a deep breath, and ran for Brie. This time, Brie didn't move quick enough, and Corey's spear connected. Brie was laid out.
Fortunately for her, her shoulder was still in socket, but it hurt like hell. She bit her lip, and pulled herself over to Brie. Corey laid across Brie's body. .Three. The ref signalled for the bell. Corey sat up, gasping for air, and holding her shoulder.
Instead of her theme playing, Seth's theme played. She looked over towards the stage area. She was frowning. Seth came out. Just like he did on Smackdown. This time, though, he continuted down the ramp, clapping as he walked.
Seth walked over to the time keepers area. Corey watched as Seth grabbed her title belt. Corey crawled to the ropes. She grabbed the top rope, and pulled herself to her feet. She watched every move Seth made with her title belt.
Seth got into the ring, and stood in front of her.
"What are you doing?" She demanded.
He smiled at her.
"Congratulations Core." Seth told her.
He handed her the title. She held in to her chest, eyeing him closely. He took her left wrist in his hand, and raised her arm in the air. The crowd gave a loud pop. Corey's theme started playing. She wasn't paying attention to that. She was watching Seth.
"You need to stop coming out after my matches, and never put your hands on my title, ever again." She snapped at him.
She pulled her wrist from his grasp, and got out of the ring. She headed up the ramp, to the stage. She held the title in the air, with her left arm, then headed backstage. She hurried to her locker room. She set her title in her duffle, then went to get in the shower.
She quickly washed, then let the hot water fall over her. It felt great on her shoulder. She let her mind wander, for a while, as the heat loosened her shoulder.
Corey shut the water off, and got out of the shower. She dried off, wrapped the towel around her body, and went to get dressed.
She stopped in her tracks, when she saw Seth sitting on the bench, with her title sitting on his lap.
"What part of don't touch that, didn't you understand?" She asked.
He looked her up and down. She frowned, and rolled her eyes. She walked over to him, and took her title away from him. Seth grabbed her wrist. She looked down at him.
"Corey..."
"Seth, don't start this again." She told him.
He stood, much closer than what she liked. She looked up at him, trying to keep her emotions in check.
"Hunter is having me give Dean a eulogy on Raw." Seth told her.
Corey took a step back.
"What?!" She said.
Seth gave a nod.
"He says it's best for business." Seth said.
Corey shook her head.
"You have got to be kidding me!" Corey said.
"Will you make an appearance? You should, you two were close." Seth said.
"What do you mean, were? We still are." She told him.
"Right, so, will you show up?" He asked.
She narrowed her eyes at him.
"What does Hunter think?" Corey asked.
Seth grinned.
"He thinks you should join me." Seth said.
"Of course he does. He'll probably let me know on Superstars, that I have to join you for it." She said.
"If Roman joins us, we'd have a Shield reunion, live on Raw." Seth said.
She rolled her eyes.
"What would the point be? Do you want to stab us in the back, again?" She asked.
He shook his head.
"You're holding yourself back, keeping a grudge like this." He told her.
"I need to get dressed." She said, flatly.
She grabbed a pair of skinny jeans, and her Dean Ambrose, v-neck, Unstable, shirt. She went back to the shower stall, and quickly dressed. When was fully dressed, she returned to her duffle. She put her ring gear in, then laid her title on top. She closed the duffle, and Seth took it for her.
She shook her head, but headed for the car. She took her cell out, and dialed Dean's number. He picked up on the first ring. They talked until she got to her room. She said her good nights to him, and hung up.
She stripped down to her underware, and got into bed. She fell asleep almost immediately.
X*X*X
Corey got up early the next morning. She was planning on visiting Dean, before she had to be at Superstars. Corey got her things together. There was a knock at the door. Corey paused a moment. She realised that it was probably Seth. She groaned. Maybe if she just ignored him, he'd go away.
Afew moments later, the knocking stopped, and Corey smiled. She went into the bathroom, and grabbed her hair brush. She brushed her hair, and put her hair up in a messy bun. She left the bathroom, bringing the brush with her. She stopped in her tracks, when she saw Seth standing in the middle of the room. She frowned, and crossed her arms in front of her.
"You broke in because I didn't answer the door?" She asked.
"The maid let me in. You're packed earlier than expected. We don't have to leave yet." Seth told her.
"I'm going to visit Dean, before I go to Superstars." She said.
He frowned.
"I wasn't planning on going there today." Seth said.
"Well, you don't have to. I'm an adult, and I can drive myself. I don't need you anymore Seth. Besides, I doubt Dean wants you there anyways." She said.
Seth was quiet for a moment. She smirked, and put the brush in the duffle. Seth exhaled loudly.
"Fine." Seth said.
She looked over at him.
"What do you mean, 'fine'?" She asked.
"I'll drive." He said.
"I cannot catch a break, can I?" She asked.
"Anyone else would love to be in your position." Seth told her.
"Then, maybe, anyone can have it." She snapped.
"You can't be serious Corey, after everything you did to get back your title." Seth said.
"I'm being hounded by the Authority, Orton put his hands on me, my boyfriend is in the Hospital, and I'm stuck with the person that broke up my family. I'm sorry, why should I be excited about this?" She asked.
Seth shook his head.
"You deserve the Diva's Championship. You've earned it." Seth told her.
He grabbed her bags, and left the room. Corey shook her head, and pinched the bridge of her nose. At least she'd be seeing Dean soon. She took a deep, calming breath, and then followed after him.
She ignored him the whole drive to the hospital. As soon as he pulled to a stop, she was out of the car, heading for the enterance. She could care less if he was behind her or not. She made it up to Dean's room, in record time. She walked in, and smiled at him.
"Corey! Oh thank God!" Dean said, over dramatising his words.
Corey laughed as she made it to the bed. Dean moved over, giving her room to sit next to him. She got on the bed, wrapping her arms around him, holding him.
"I've missed you so much. Have you been told when you can leave?" She asked.
"They want to keep me for observation, until tomorrow, at least. I won't be returninng until around Night of Champions, at the earliest." He told her.
She frowned.
"Seriously? That sucks! I don't know how long I'll survive without you there. They're giving you a eulogy on Monday Night Raw. Seth asked me to show up for it." She said, frowning.
"That's hilarious! Give Rollins hell for me." He told her.
"You want me to go to it?" She asked.
"Sure. It will be fun. What is going on with Rollins?" Dean asked.
She groaned, and laid back against the bed. She shook her head.
"Seth curb stomped you, and sent you here. Hunter thinks that I'm too distraught to do anything, so, out of the kindess of his heart, he gave me an assistant. Seth. I was also informed that Randy Orton would be his replacement, if I didn't want Seth. I'm in Hell." She told him.
Dean wrapped his arm around her, and pulled her close. He kissed her temple.
"I'm sorry Princess. I'll be taking care of Seth, when I do return. He won't get away with putting his hands on you." He told her.
She smiled.
"You always say the sweetest things to me." She told him.
He laughed.
He pulled her close, pressing his lips to hers. His fingers threaded through her hair.
"I miss you. Especially, at night." He purred in her ear.
She rolled her eyes.
"I bet you do." She said.
He put his hand on the back of her neck, and pulled her close, kissing her. She smiled at him, when she pulled out of the kiss. She moved the hair out of his eyes. She was about to say something, when she felt, and heard, her phone buzz. She exhaled loudly.
"What's wrong?" Dean asked.
She pulled her phone from her back pocket, and frowned.
"I can't get a moment's peace." She muttered.
She opened the text message, and rolled her eyes.
"Who is it?" Dean asked.
"Seth." She said.
"Why is Rollins texting you?" Dean asked.
"He wants me to hurry, so we can get to Superstars." She said.
"He's with you, again?!" Dean asked.
"Unfortunately. He drove me here. As much as I can't stand him, he's better than Orton any day of the week. Seth is the lesser of two evils right now." She said, with a sigh.
"Ignore him." Dean told her.
She smiled, and put the phone back into her pocket. She went to kiss him, and her phone buzzed again. She ignored it.
The phone buzzed three more times. She ignored them. Then, her phone started ringing.
"Ignore it." Dean told her, kissing her.
Her phone alerted her to a new voicemail. Her phone started ringning almost immediately. She groaned.
"Here, let me take care of it." Dean said, holding his hand out.
Corey pulled her ringing phone out of her pocket, and handed it to him.
"Rollins, get a life, and stop stalking my girl." Dean told Seth.
Corey giggled, as she watched Dean talk on her hot pink cell phone. She shook her head.
"I don't really care what Hunter told you to do. She is spending time with me, and you're not going to ruin it. Good bye Seth." Dean said.
Dean hung up on Seth. Corey laughed.
"He's not going to be happy about that. I just wish you could do that again." She told him.
He held her phone up.
"I can call him back, if you'd like me to." He said.
She pushed his arm down and laughed.
"Let's not, and say you did." She told him, kissing him.
*X*
Corey and Dean were oblivious to almost everything, for the past twenty minutes. They were very focused on each other.
That is, until they were interupted, rudely.
There was a knock at the door.
"Go away, I'm busy." Dean called out, never taking his attention off of Corey.
"I'm sure you are, but Corey is needed."
Corey froze. Dean frowned.
"What the hell are you doing here Orton? I thought Rollins was Corey's gopher." Dean said.
Orton crossed his arms in front of him. Seth walked in.
"Corey, it's time to go. You ignored my texts, and wouldn't take my calls, so I had to go above your head. Hunter sent Randy, to help me bring you to the arena." Seth said.
"You've got to be kidding me! Seth, you've done some crappy things in the past, but this is just ridiculous! I can't believe this." Corey snapped at Seth.
"Maybe you shouldn't ignore my calls." Seth told her.
She narrowed her eyes at him. She would pay him back for this. She shook her head, and looked at Dean again.
"I have to go. I'll call you later." She told him..
He gave a nod.
"Good luck." He told her.
She kissed him. She heard Randy clear his throat. Corey rolled her eyes, but got off of the bed.
"I'll talk to you later. Be nice to the doctors." She told him.
He gave a laugh.
"I'll try, but no promises." He said.
She gave him one last kiss, then turned to leave. She walked by Randy and Seth, without a word to either man. She hurried outside, to avoid making a scene. She could not believe Seth. Maybe she could talk Hunter into giving her a mixed tag match against Seth. That way, she could release some frustration on him. She smiled at the thought. She was brought out of her thoughts, by someone putting a hand on her arm, and spinning her around.
She knew it was going to be either Seth, or Randy, touching her, so, as she turned around, she made a fist, and swung. Her fist connected with a jaw. Seth dropped like a sack of potatos. Pain shot through her hand, and up her arm. She shook her hand, as Randy pulled her away from Seth. She turned, and pushed Randy away from her.
"Corey, calm down." Randy told her.
She pushed him again.
"Don't tell me to calm down. You shouldn't be anywhere near me! I should press charges against you! Don't touch me again. And Seth, you might want to keep your distance from me, because it's taking all of my control not to kick your ass right now." She snapped at them.
She spun around, and headed for the car. If she had the keys, she would have left them where they stood. She got into the front, passenger seat, and waited for them.
*X*
Corey was mad, and it felt like forever before Seth got to the arena. Corey wanted to go directly to Hunter's office, but she stopped to sign autographs, and pose for pictures, with some fans that were waiting to get inside the arena. She put a smile on for the fans. They seemed to be happy, and excited, that she had shown up with Seth, well, most of them at least. There were a few fans that didn't like her showing up with Seth. Those were Dean's fans.
"Trust me, I'm not too happy about it either." She told them.
"I'm not that bad!" Seth called to her.
"That's debatable." She told a male fan, with a wink.
The guy laughed.
"Okay, I think we should head inside." Seth said, walking up to her.
She rolled her eyes.
"As usual, Seth, you spoil my fun. Enjoy the show tonight!" She called to the fans.
She gave one last wave, then headed inside. Seth followed behind her, quickly catching up to her. She tried ignoring the looks she got, for walking with Seth. She finally got to her locker room, and pushed Seth inside. She shut the door behind her, and pushed him up against the wall, his golden briefcase fell to the floor.
"What the hell Corey?!" Seth demanded.
She frowned.
"Do you realise what you did? You say that you want to make everything right again, and then you go and do something like that? That's not the way to get someone to trust you!" She told him.
"I had to do something! When you're with him, you don't listen! I'm sorry that it was Randy, but you were ignoring me." He told her.
She rolled her eyes.
"Oh cry me a river! Grow up Seth." She snapped.
She stepped away from him, and went over to her duffle. She pulled out her ring gear, and turned to face him again.
"I'd watch my back if I were you Seth. After that stunt you pulled, I'm sure Dean isn't too happy either. Once he gets cleared to wrestle again, he's coming after you. Turn around." She told him.
He turned, so she could undress.
"You of all people should know that I'm not afraid of him." He told her.
"No, you're jealous." She said.
She smirked, as Seth exhaled loudly.
"You two must love thinking so." He muttered.
"Oh please, Roman is the one that brought it to my attention, so it's not just us that think that." She told him.
She finished dressing in her ring gear, and gave him a push. He turned, and crossed his arms in front of him. He shook his head.
"Of course Roman would put his opinion in." Seth muttered.
Corey put her hair up into a high ponytail, and grabbed her title belt. She turned to look at him.
"You brought this all on yourself. Just remember, karma is a bitch." She told him.
He rolled his eyes.
"You've always had a way with words." He told her.
"Flattery won't get you anywhere. Now, I have something to discuss with Hunter, and it doesn't need your company for it." She said.
Without another word, Corey left, heading for Triple H's office. When she got there, she knocked, and entered the office. Triple H was speaking with Randy Orton.
"Oh good lord! If I'm not surrounded by Seth, it's you. What did I do, to deserve this kind of hell?!" She demanded.
"Oh please, I'm sure Hell is much worse." Randy said.
"I'm sure you would." She said.
"What is that supposed to mean?!" Randy demanded.
"Enought, you two! Randy, we will finish this conversation later." Hunter said.
Randy left the office. Corey rolled her eyes.
"What can I help you with Ms. Dove?" Hunter asked.
"I can't have Seth following me around anymore. I mean, it's not even for a stupid story line! I don't want, or need, anyone following me around. Especially if it's Seth, or Randy." She told him.
He studied her for a moment. She could see the cogs working, to come up with something.
"I'm not sure I can do that. Is there something else I can do for you?" Hunter asked.
She exhaled loudly.
"I'm pissed off at Seth." She said.
"Yes, Randy said something about you being upset with him, more than usual." Hunter said.
She rolled her eyes.
"I'm sure he did. I want a match against Seth. If it's not in the ring, then it's going to be somewhere else." She told him.
He studied her for a moment, then gave a nod.
"I understand. You want revenge on Rollins, I get it. Listen, Corey, I will figure out something for you. With both problems. Let me think about it, and I'll let you know." Hunter told her.
She gave a nod.
"Thank you, Hunter." She said.
She turned, and left his office. Corey took a calming breath, and headed for catering. She grabbed a small plate of fruit She wanted something light to eat before her match. She found a seat off by herself. She wanted some alone time. She took her phone out, and texted Dean. Dean didn't want to text, though. He called her.
She told him about her meeting with Triple H, and what she had asked for. Dean seemed doubtful that she'd get what she'd asked for.
They talked, as she ate her fruit. Before she knew it, it was close to her match time. She said her good byes to Dean, and then headed to her locker room. She dropped her phone off. Then she headed for gorilla. Since she hadn't heard an answer from Hunter, she figured that she wouldn't be getting her match with Seth. She'd have to figure something else out. She did some warm up stretches, as she waited for her theme to start.
"Good luck out there, from what I hear, you'll need it." Corey spun around, to find Stephanie McMahon standing behind her.
"What? I don't know what you're talking about." Corey said.
Corey's theme started playing. Stephanie smiled.
"The best way to get back at him, is to make him jealous, and use it against him." Stephanie told her.
Corey was confused. What the hell was Stephanie talking about? Corey didn't have time to question her boss, she had a match to win.
The crowd cheered her, when they saw her. She headed down the ramp, and got inside the ring. She handed her title belt down to a stage hand, and turned to wait for Nattie to enter. Instead of Nattie's theme, it was the Authority's theme, that started playing. Corey frowned.
Hunter and Stephanie, along with Seth, and Kane, came out. Thankfully, Randy was no where to be seen.
Corey went over to the ropes, and she was given a mic. She turned to face the stage area. The theme cut out.
"Is this going to take too long? I have a match to get to." Corey said.
"Calm down Corey. I'm out here, for you." Hunter said.
Corey didn't like the sound of that. It also didn't help that Seth was grinning like the Cheshire cat from Wonderland.
"I kind of doubt that." She said.
"I've decided to change your match on you." Hunter said.
"You've changed my match? Why?" She asked.
"I decided that a singles match was slightly boring for you, especially since it's a non-title match, against Natalya." Hunter said.
"So, if it's not a singles, non-title match, then what match am I having?" She asked.
"You will be participating in a mixed tag match." Hunter told her.
Her eyes went to Seth. Was Triple H giving her a match with Seth? It was too good to be true. She watched Seth's smile fade, as he gave a small shake of his head. Her attention went back to Hunter.
"Fine, I can adapt. Who is in the match with me?" Corey asked.
"Let's bring out your oponants. They are both wrestling royalty." Triple H said.
Nattie's theme played. That wasn't too surprising, she'd been expecting to wrestle Nattie. It was Nattie's partner that was worrying her.
Nattie got into the ring.
"I had no idea, Corey, I just found out myself." Nattie told her.
Corey's eyebrows knitted in confusion.
"What are you talking about? Who is your partner?" Corey asked.
Wrestling royalty? There weren't many. Could it be Roman? Is that why Nattie looked worried? Nattie was about to say something, when her partner's theme started, and Corey knew too well who it was. Corey froze, her breath stuck in her throat.
I hear voices in my head, they council me, they understand, they talk to me...
Everyone knew that theme song. She would have been an idiot, if she hadn't known the song. Corey looked over at the stage area. Hunter was pleased with himself. Corey took a deep breath, to calm herself. It was fine. She could always take her frustration out on Randy, at any time during the match.
Stephanie's words came back to her. She could get back at Seth as well. Corey's frown became a smile.
"Okay. I can deal with that. So, do I get to know who my partner is, or do I even get a partner?" Corey asked.
"Of course you do! It is a mixed tag match. There weren't many candidates, but one wouldn't take no for an answer. He too, is wrestling royalty." Hunter said.
Corey broke into a huge grin, when she heard the theme song of her partner. She knew the theme well. It used to be her theme as well. She turned to the crowd, and searched for her brother.
Corey finally found Roman. When their eyes met, Roman gave a small smile, and a nod. She gave a laugh. This was going to be great. Roman made his way through the crowd, over the partition, and into the ring. Corey hugged Roman.
"It's been too long baby girl." Roman said in her ear.
"We've both been busy." Corey said.
"We'll have to fix that." Roman told her.
"Definately." She said.
The ref sent them to their corner. The Authority made their way over to the announce table.
The bell rang, starting the match. Corey started the match against Nattie.
X*X*X
Corey and Nattie had been going for quite a while. She needed to take a breather, but was finding it slightly difficult to get to her corner, to tag in Roman. She was closer to Nattie's corner, than hers. She forced herself over to the ropes, and pulled herself to her feet.
She steadied herself just in time to see Nattie tag in Randy. Nattie looked apologetically at Corey. Corey looked up at Randy. Randy was grinning from ear to ear. She looked down, and saw Stephanie looking intrigued, while Seth looked upset, and on edge. Seth never took his eyes off of Randy. Seth looked ready to jump Randy, if need be. She turned her attention back to Randy. He was still smiling, and he was much closer. She backed away from him. He moved closer, and backed her into the corner.
"What do you think you're doing? You can't lay one finger on me! Everyone will see you do it this time." She told him, with a smirk.
He didn't stop, he kept coming closer to her. She shook her head.
"Don't you dare touch me Orton! I will hurt you." She snapped at him.
"I'm not afraid Corey. There's nothing you can do that will hurt me princess." He told her.
He was very close to her. She slapped him across his face.
"Don't call me that. Don't come any closer to me." She told him.
He laughed at her. She pushed him away from her. He stumbled back, but steadied himself. The ref was trying to keep Roman in his corner, and wasn't paying attention to Randy. She needed to think of something. She needed to distract Randy, to get to Roman. Seth. Corey smiled.
"You do know that Seth will curb stomp you into next week, if you touch me, right? He's watching your every move, just waiting for the chance to curb stomp you, the moment you step out of line. He's still hung up on me. He'd do anything for me, if he thought that it meant that I forgave him." Corey told him.
Randy paused, momentarily, then looked down at Seth. Seth was set, ready to strike. Randy looked back at Corey.
"I can handle Rollins." Randy told her.
The tone of his voice told her that Seth irritated Randy. She might be able to use that to her advantage. She smiled up at him.
"You don't like him, do you?" She asked.
He narrowed his eyes at her, as he held the top rope on both sides of her, pinning her in the corner. He was way too close for comfort.
"Rollins doesn't matter." He told her.
"Fine. Let me go tag Roman in, since you're afraid of Seth." She said.
Randy's eyes flashed, then he grabbed her chin. The viper close to the surface. Without warning, Randy pressed his lips to hers. Every fiber of her being wanted him off of her. She didn't push him away though. She let him think that he had won.
That's when she made her move. She grabbed his shoulders, and kicked him in the groin. He doubled over. She pushed him away from her.
"Don't touch me." She told him.
She pulled herself over to Roman, pushing the ref out of her way. She quickly tagged Roman.
"You okay?" Roman asked.
She nodded.
"I'm fine. Hopefully, now Orton will leave me alone." She said.
He gave a nod, and got in the ring. Randy was getting back to his feet. As soon as Randy was up, Roman superman punched him. Randy stumbled to his feet, and Roman speared him. Randy was laid out, but Roman didn't pin him. Roman circled around Randy.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Seth heading for her. She frowned, as she turned her attention to Seth. She got off of the apron, and faced Seth. She narrowed her eyes at him.
"What?!" She demanded.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
She frowned.
"What's wrong Seth? Jealous of Randy now, are you?" She asked.
"That's not funny Core! He could have seriously hurt you." Seth told her.
"And if he had put one finger on me, you and Roman would have ended his career." She told him.
He raised his eyebrows in surprise.
"Was that just for show?" He asked.
She rolled her eyes.
"Do you actually think I would let him put his hands on me, and not fight back?" She asked.
He frowned.
"You did seem to enjoy it." Seth said.
"You're an idiot Seth." She told him.
She turned away from him, to get back up on the apron. Seth stopped her though. Corey was finished talking with him. She went to slap him, but he caught her wrist in his hand.
"Not this time Corey." He told her.
"No, this time Orton got closer to me than you will, ever again. I let Randy Orton kiss me, before I forgave you. It must have burned you to watch that. How jealous did you get Seth? More or less than when you see me with Dean?" She taunted him.
"Stop, Corey. Shut up." He told her.
She smirked.
"Does it tear you up to know that you'll never be able to do that ever again?!" She taunted him even more.
The fans right next to them were getting a great show. Especially when Seth grabbed her, and planted his lips on hers. She hadn't been expecting that from him. She had wanted to goad him into a fight, not a make out session.
She was having an internal battle with herself. Half of her wanted him off of her. The other half, the more dominate half, missed this, missed him. It hurt too much though, and that cleared her mind enough for the fighting half of her, to kick in. She roughly pushed him off of her.
Corey was seeing red. She balled her hand into a fist, and for the second time that day, she punched Seth in the jaw. She didn't let up on him. She got him down to the floor, and pounced on him. Every punch she landed on him, was releasing the anger inside.
Somehow, Seth managed to get a hold of her, and flipped her under him. He pinned her under him, and she wasn't happy about that. She struggled against him.
"You need to stop doing that." He told her.
"And you need to stop touching me!" She told him.
"Stop lieing to yourself Corey. You were kissing me back. You still have feelings for me too." He said.
Seth knew nothing. She shook her head.
"You still don't understand anything, now get off of me." She told him.
"Admit it, Corey!" He told her.
"I said, get off of me!" She yelled at him.
He didn't move. She growled at him, and managed to flip him off of her. She got to her feet. She shook her head.
"Stay away from me Seth. I mean it." She told him.
She got back on the apron. Roman and Randy were down. She called to Roman, to let him know she was there. Roman looked over at her, and she held her hand out for him. Roman stumbled to his feet, and over to her. He slapped her hand, tagging her in. He rolled under the bottom rope, and off the apron. Corey got in the ring, and walked over to Randy. She put her foot on him, and pushed him over to his corner.
Nattie got in the ring. Corey beckoned to her. Nattie moved closer to her.
"Let's finish this." Corey told her.
Nattie gave a nod, and they locked up. Corey pushed Nattie away. Nattie rushed Corey, but Corey grabbed Nattie, getting her set up, and performed Dirty Deeds. Nattie was out, like a light. Corey rolled Nattie over to her back, and covered her. .Three. The bell rang, and Corey's theme started playing. Corey rolled off of Nattie, and laid on the mat for a moment. She felt someone kneel next to her. She looked over, and smiled at Roman.
"Good job baby girl." Roman told her.
He held his hand out for her to take.
"Not too bad yourself." She told him.
He laughed, as she took his hand. He helped her to her feet. The ref brought her the Diva's title belt. She hugged Roman, and then Roman helped her to the back, and to her locker room. She threw a zip up hoodie over her, then Roman brought her to the hotel room. She took a shower, and then headed to bed. Within moments of laying down, she was out.
