Author's note
Hey, guys. I've had a HUGE fandom twist, so I'll be changing my pen name. To what, you may ask. I don't know. It may not change it at all, this is just a warning. But I will PM each of my followers the new pen name (If I happen to change it) ASAP. If you read my story, but are not a follower, I suggest you become one, as so you can stay completely updated. Anyway, my PMs also contain lots of other updates, like why I won't be posting and such. Thanks for your understanding, and enjoy chapter seven!
Sonic nodded when Blaze finished telling her idea. But then he frowned.
"Are you sure this will work?" He asked skeptically. Blaze sighed.
"No. I'm not." She told him, "But I'm not living the rest of my life in the fear of being found." She looked up at the ceiling. Sonic decided not to say anything for a while. Then, he spoke up.
"When will we start?" He asked. Blaze turned back toward him.
"Now." She told him.
Sonic sighed. Blaze always was one to jump at the thought of opportunity.
"No." He told her. Her eyes widened until she finally looked at where his gaze was directed. At her dress. Sonic sucked in a breath. He had to do this every time Blaze shifted position. She was beautiful, even in her muddy clothes and tangled hair, she was absolutly beautiful. Her fur was a light lauvender that darkened into a deeper twilight. Her hair fell down to her waist, and was wavy. She had golden eyes, and it looked as though each one beared a flame. It was a shame that she only though of him as a-
"I'll change, and then I'll come back. That's when we'll start. Happy?" Blaze asked sourly Sonic grinned, mockingly, to cover up his sadness at Blaze's feelings toward him. Blaze turned and Sonic stood to escort her toward the secret door.
"Thanks, Sonic. This...this is huge."
"It's for the best of-" he began, but Blaze turned and, for one brief moment, her lips touched his. She then turned and disappeared in the dark hole.
Blaze did not mean to kiss him on the lips. She had meant to kiss him on the cheek. She did not feel bad though. She felt better then ever for some reason, even though she was about to risk her freedom. She shook her head. Soon, she was back at the mansion. She opened the door of her room and gasped.
"I..."
"YOU!" Her handmaid yelled, her face a bright cherry red, "You've been seeing that hedgehog, haven't you? HAVEN'T YOU? WELL! THE JIG'S UP!" Blaze gasped. She had to do something!
"I am to tell your mother this instant!" Blaze did the only thing she could think of. Her handmaid could not spoil anything! As she began to walk toward the door, Blaze yelled,
"SORRY!" She conjured up her strength and let a ball of fire leave her finger tips. Her handmaid gasped as it hit her. The aim was oblique, the shot being out of pure desperation, but it still hit her enough to through her backward. When she fell limp, Blaze rushed to her, making sure she wasn't dead. When she was assured she wasn't, Blaze rushed to her wardrobe.
After a while, she was dressed. She was clad in a long, elegant, purple dress. She had dashed glitter around her eyes. Her hair fell, not dressed with anything, she had no time to do anything with it. The gown had thin petticoats of lace, and a silver belt. She turned toward the door. This...this was it.
