It had been three days since Treecko, now nicknamed Ricardo, decided to live with the family as Lunara's first Pokémon. Everyone was very happy for Lunara and their new family member. Erik was starting to grow a little more jealous each time he saw the two fast growing friends playing together and every time Lunara got praised for taking good care of Ricardo. However, he was also very happy for his little sister and Ricardo, who was recovering very nicely. He just wished he had a Pokémon of his own instead of playing with his old Mudkip doll all the time, while Lunara got to play with a real Pokémon of her very own. The boy turned to see his father looking down at him "Oh, hi dad." Erik greeted his father with a wave. Mewtwo however was still looking at his son with a firm but gentle look on his face. Erik was starting to feel a little awkward with the way his dad was staring at him "So what's going on dad? Because you're creeping me out here." Mewtwo knelt down by his son's side, placed a hand on his shoulder and said telepathically, Erik I can sense your jealous emotions about your sister and her new Pokémon, however I am very proud that you are happy for Lunara and Ricardo's recovery. I do not know when or how but you will get your first Pokémon someday, one way or another. Mewtwo told his son with much honesty in his words and Erik put a small smile on his face and said "Thanks, dad I am happy, really happy for Lunara because she has her very own Pokémon to raise. I'm also happy for Ricardo, because now he has a home and a family it's just that I'm sad for me. The reason why is because since I was the oldest I thought I would be the first one to have a Pokémon." Mewtwo nodded in understanding how his son felt "It's kind of selfish when you think about it huh?" Erik question when he looked away in shame. No, Erik in fact if you were being selfish you would not be happy for Lunara, you would instead be angry and spiteful towards your sister but you are not and for that I am very proud of you my son.
Erik looked up at his dad and smiled "Thanks dad that really means a lot to me." Erik hugged his father around his waist, "I still have one question when will I get my first Pokémon, dad?" Mewtwo closed his eyes and thought for a moment about this question. Erik started to look worried, just when the boy thought he wouldn't get an answer, the father of two opened his eyes and smiled. My, son I do not have an answer for that question, for all I know your very first Pokémon could come right out of the bush in the garden, but do not worry Erik your time will come when you will get your first Pokémon. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but it will happen someday you will see. Mewtwo finished the subject by hugging his son and walking off to help Kangaskhan get breakfast started. He knew that cooking wasn't his strong suit yet, however he was getting better at it. (Or at least that's what he kept telling himself). When Mewtwo left, Erik's smile was replaced with a frown. He knew that his father was right, unfortunately patience was never easy for anyone or anything, especially if you're waiting for something to happen. "Hey Erik!" At the sound of his name he turned his head to see Lunara and Ricardo waving at him. "Erik come over and play with us!" Lunara invited her big brother over to 's smile came back when he saw Ricardo on Lunara's lap with her hand on his back like a little baby. "Coming!" Erik answered by waving his hand as he came over to play with his sister and her new best friend.
The young male child watched as his little sister and her Treecko played together. Erik began to fantasize about himself and his own Pokémon playing, laughing together and having burping contests with each other. "So, Erik, what do you wish to be when you get your Pokémon license?" Erik shook his head as he came back to reality from a cool day dream "Huh?" Erik questioned as he looked at his little sister. "I said, what do wish to be when you get your Pokémon license?" Lunara repeated as she looked at her brother while Ricardo and herself were playing together. Lunara had her Treecko doll while Ricardo was playing with a Beautifly doll. "Oh that's easy I'm going to be a Pokémon master and I'll be the best of them all!" Erik declared as he stood up and raised his fist in the air "So how about you, little sis?" Erik asked as he sat back down and looked her in the eye. "Well I was thinking of being both a Pokémon mistress and a top coordinator." Lunara replied. The older of the two cocked his head to the left a little and asked "Why do you want to be both of those things?" Lunara nodded, put her Treecko doll down and pulled Ricardo into her lap. "Because I wish to make my Pokémon strong and beautiful that way I can bring out their best in more ways than one!" Lunara exclaimed as she raised her hands high in the air. "Wow that sounds really cool Lunara!" Erik replied as he stared wide eyed at his little sister, but then Erik saw Ricardo behind Lunara's head, then chuckled when his sister noticed she gave him a questioning look. "Hey what is so funny Erik?" Lunara said as put her hands on her hips. "You've got company!" Erik said as he pointed at his sister's head. When Lunara looked up to where her brother was pointing, she gave a surprised yelp when she saw her beloved Ricardo behind her head with his little green legs on her shoulders, his hands were on her head. When they looked each other in the eye Lunara, Ricardo and Erik began to laugh and laugh in fact Erik laughed so hard he fell on his back "oh!" Lunara exclaimed. Both she and Ricardo looked with wide eyes at Erik. When he came back up he laughed again so did Lunara and Ricardo. Lunara laughed so hard she started to cry, Erik and Ricardo noticed it right away "Lunara are you ok? You're crying!" Erik said as the older sibling looked at his little sister "Tree." Treecko said agreeing with stopped laughing and looked at the boys "Oh I always cry when I laugh too hard. Do not you remember Erik?" The night loving girl asked explaining. Erik put a finger on his chin as he thought for a minute "Oh, yeah I remember now!" Erik said as he as clunked his head gently "Well I'm going outside to the beach with Squirtle two and Blastoise two to feed the Magikarp bye!" Erik said as waved his little sister and her grass type companion goodbye.
He went to get the Pokémon food to feed the Magikarp with and went to find the two clone water types, but what luck they were already at the beach playing in the water "Hey guys!" Erik said as he waved hello at them "How's the water today?" Both water clone Pokémon stopped what they were doing and said that the water was great. "Cool ok then bring in the Magikarp because I got the grub for them!" "Blastoise!" Blastoise two gave a thumps and went to fetch the Magikarp."Well while he's gone I'm gonna change." Erik said as he took off his clothes leaving him in his swim trunks, they were a light blue with suns on the side. Blastoise two came back and sure enough there were some hungry Magikarp with empty bellies and sad faces. Erik knew just how to cheer them up. "Come on, Magikarp I want to see you smile and I've got just the thing that'll do it!" Erik said loudly as he held up the bucket of food for them. At that moment, all the hungry Magikarp began to flip for joy "Alright that's better!" The day loving boy said as he saw all his hungry friends with big open smiles on their faces. "Well with all that said and done let's chow down!" Erik exclaimed as threw a big handful of food for the Magikarp and for his two clone friends too. Erik sat the bucket down got on a high ledge and spreaded his arms out wide. "Hey everyone! Are you ready for some swimming?!" All the water Pokémon that were present cheered loudly "Alright then let's do it!" Erik raised his fist in the air, put a small blue rebreather in his mouth and dove right into the ocean water. When he was underwater the Magikarp came to swim next to him, Blastoise two swam under Erik so he could grab on to his shell. The large turtle like fella loved to swim with the kids, just like the other water type clones who lived with Mewtwo and the kids. Between the two children Erik loved to swim the most. Heck, he loved the water period. From swimming to exploring all the oceans the earth had to offer and for that reason his favorite type of pokemon are the water types!
Funny, when you first see Erik wearing suns from left to right, you would think his favorite type is fire. But you would be so wrong when you got to know him and his favorite pass times! Erik closed his eyes dreaming of all the water Pokémon he could capture out in the world. If only he and his little sister were older, than they could do those things now. But unfortunately the both of them will have to wait until then. At this thought, the sun loving boy gave a groan "Blast?" Erik came back to reality and opened his eyes to see Blastoise two looking at him with worried eyes. Erik waved his hand in an ok motion, he then gave a tug on the giant sea turtle's front part of the shell, which meant let's fly high then do a dive! Blastoise two nodded with excitement, he loves this part. The large water type is so quick. Blastoise two kicked his arms and legs as Erik held on tightly to the blue terrapin's shell. Blastoise two was gaining more than speed with each passing second. The boy held on tighter and then right out of the water they came! Erik raised his fists high in the air going "Whoooooooo!" As they went higher and higher into the wide, open, blue skies! Erik released his hold on his large blue friend's shell so he could spread his arms out wide and get the feel of flying. Blastoise two did the exact same thing. After a little more fantasying of flying, the sun marked boy asked "Ready for the next part, big guy?" Blastoise two nodded his head eagerly. As much as his loved doing this trick with the kids, he didn't like being up this high for very long "Blastoise blast!" That meant hold on tight Erik".
You got it big guy! Erik telepathically said as he gave a thumps up and gripped the edge of Blastoise two's shell once more. As the water type terrapin began his descend back into the water, Erik caught something out of the corner of his eye. A blue creature was going into the bucket that had the water type Pokémon food in it. When Blastoise two came back down to the ocean blue water, the large water type looked at Erik to see if he was alright and boy did Erik's face look as blank as a book without writing in it. Blastoise two immediately turned to face Erik and gently gripped his shoulders "Blast! Blastoise blast?! That meant "Erik! Are you okay?!" The boy in question then swam to the surface. The large but gentle water type was right next to him. Blastoise two took Erik to a rock, large enough for them both to sit on. When both the boy and Blastoise two got on the rock, Erik took his rebreather out of his mouth and looked around then at his shellfish Pokémon friend "That was…Awesome!" Erik said as he raised his fist in the air, while the worried water type gave a sigh of relief. "Hey, Blastoise two did you see anything when we were flying in the air…over there?" Erik asked. When he turned his head to see the bucket that had water type Pokémon food in it wasn't there anymore, it was gone stolen right out from under their noses! "Holy Toledo, I cannot believe it, the bucket, it's gone! Erik yelled as he pointed his finger at the spot where the bucket once was. Just then Lunara and Ricardo came out to see what the noise was about. Both turned to see Erik and Blastoise two with their mouths wide open and pointing at something. As hard as they tried not to do it, Lunara and Ricardo busted out laughing putting their arms around each other "Wha ha ha ha! What are two goofs pointing at?" Lunara said as she and her gecko like companion's laughter began to stop.
Erik and Blastoise two snapped out of it and turned their heads to see the two fast growing friends laughing at them. "Hey what's so funny over there?" Erik questioned as a bit of his pride was wounded by his own little sister laughing at him. "The look on your faces that is 'what's so funny over there!' But what are you two pointing at anyway?" The moon loving girl and her partner looked at the spot the guys were pointing at and they saw nothing out of the ordinary. "You're not going to believe this but a bucket that had some Pokémon food in it was stolen while Blastoise two and I were swimming. Oh man this stinks! What am I going to tell mom and dad, Lunara?" Erik sighed as let his head fall into his still wet hands. While the younger of two put a comforting hand on her big brother's shoulder "Do not worry big brother we will solve this problem before mom and daddy find out." Before we find out what, children? Both children and Pokémon turned to see Mewtwo and Kangaskhan staring at all that were present on the beach "Oh well you see daddy what happened was…"
But before Lunara could explain further Erik stopped his little sister by placing a hand on her shoulder "Thanks for trying to help baby sis but mom, dad I was out here feeding and swimming with the Pokémon when the bucket that had the Pokémon food in it, got stolen and I'm really sorry." Erik finished his explanation with shameful look on his face.
Erik felt a three fingered hand placed on his head. He looked up to see that his parents weren't angry with him. Do not worry my son, we are not angry at you. However, we are peeved at whoever stole the bucket and we will find the culprit. The father of two finished with a look of determination while his wife nodded her head in agreement "Oh isn't this exciting? Looking for a mysterious Pokémon. Maybe, it is one of the rare or legendry's, how thrilling!" Lunara squealed as she jumped in the air. Ricardo raised both his green little hands in the air "Yea! This is too awesome!" Erik too jumped in the air and gave a high five to his sister. When the children came back down, everyone on the beach went inside to call the others for a family meeting to discuss this matter. Once all members were present, it turns out the others have been noticing that some of their fruits and vegetables were missing. Lunara and Erik came in (who now had his clothes on). It was then that Mewtwo began to telepathically speak. Quiet down now, everyone I have called this meeting because someone or something has been steeling some of our food. We have no knowledge of who or what is committing these crimes but we will find this perpetrator and make him or her stop. If any of you have any knowledge about this situation, please notify us immediately. Everyone, be careful! We have no idea who or what this food thief is capable of, with that said our search begins now.
When Mewtwo finished the meeting, everyone went to fetch the things they might need in order to catch this mysterious perpetrator. Nidoqueen two and Rhyhorn two moved their babies inside the house. Until this food criminal was caught, all the Pokémon that could fly would keep a watch from the skies while all water types searched the seas. The land dwelling set traps (humane of course) to catch this food swindler. Meanwhile, the kids and Ricardo were thinking of their plan for catching this food steeling doer. Lunara decided to get in touch with her detective side, so she had on her black beret, a plum coat with two crescent moons sowed on each side and black gloves that went to her wrists. Ricardo had matching gloves, a white lab coat and a black boulder hat. Erik had a blue lab coat, navy rubber gloves and his goggles. "Alright, is everyone ready to get this investigation started?" Lunara asked as she grabbed her midnight blue pen and a black notebook with light blue shooting stars on it. She only used it for solving things like for instance clues to a mysteries. "Ready!" Erik declared as he snapped his goggles on "Treecko tree!" Ricardo said that means "I'm ready, partner!" Lunara nodded and took a seat in the far end with Ricardo sitting next to her. The older of two sitting on the other far end of the table.
"Alright then, after reading many mystery novels, I learned the best way to solve a crime is to look for clues. Erik do you remember what you were doing before the bucket got stolen?" Lunara asked as both she and Ricardo looked at Erik ready to write down everything that could help them catch this food thief before it strikes again Erik thought for two minutes then snapped his fingers "I got it! I was feeding the Magikarp after that Blastoise two and I took an awesome swim I caught something out of the corner of my eye as me and the big fella did a wicked jump out of the water! We came back up but then when I turned my head the bucket was gone." Erik drew in a deep as he answered Lunara's question.
"Hhmmm interesting. Did you get a good look at that 'something'?" Lunara asked as she wrote down what Erik previously told her "Nope, sorry, baby sis." Erik shook his head as he apologized "That is alright, Erik." Lunara replied as she tapped her pen against her chin as she thought about all she heard and wrote "Erik, show me the last place where the bucket was please." The night loving girl requested nicely as she sat up from her chair "Ok, sure that sounds easy enough, let's go!" Erik shouted as he got up from his own chair to lead Lunara and her little, green partner in crime solving to the beach "This is where the bucket was before it disappeared." The day loving boy said as he pointed at the spot where he last saw the stolen item Lunara and Ricardo took a closer look when the moon marked girl saw something she got out her magnifying glass she gasped while the other two were quit startled "What is this?" The youngest of two questioned "Don't scare us like that, Lunara! By the way what did you find, baby sis?" Erik asked "Upon closer inspection it seems there is a trail of small foot prints." Lunara stated as her older brother and her partner took a closer look it was true there was a trail of small foot prints "You're right, sis and look the trail leads that way behind those rocks!" Erik pointed at two large brown rock where the trail ended "Ricardo stay close and be ready. We do not know what we are up against." Lunara whispered as she turned to green, best friend who was very much ready his tail was raised in the air and he's eyes grew sharp in anticipation for battle "That is my Ricardo!" The first of siblings to get a Pokémon said quietly with pride as she patted his head "Erik, you get ready too." Lunara then turned to her older brother "Right away, Lunara!" Erik acknowledges by grabbing a net from the sack attached to his pants the group of three got down on all fours and crept slowly to the rocks Lunara raised her hand and began the count down in five four three two one "Now!" Lunara exclaimed as she, Ricardo and Erik jumped up on the rocks only to see there was nothing there but the missing bucket "Hey, cool there's the bucket that was stolen!" Erik said as he pointed at the bucket relieved that the boy would be able to return the item as Erik went to fetch Lunara stopped him "Why are you stopping my, Lunara?" The day loving child questioned "Shh!" Lunara silenced her "Be silent, brother! For all we know the thief could be right under the bucket so, again be ready!"
All three of them once again crept quietly until they came to the bucket Lunara put both her hands on the item she then looked to Erik raised his net up high and Ricardo raised tail in the air ready to attack Lunara gave them both a nod of her head before she shouted "Now!"Lunara raised the bucket up high Erik slammed his net on the spot where the once missing item was to find that the thief left them…. a little 'gift' "Ewww!" Erik went as he raised his net with the 'gift' attached to it "Oh gross, Erik!" Lunara yelled in disgust as she covered her nose while Ricardo stuck his tongue out in disgust himself "well at least we got something although I was hoping it was a Pokémon." Erik said trying to lighten the mood while Ricardo just stared and Lunara had a dumbfounded look on her face "Lunara are you ok?" Erik asked as laid a hand on his little sister's shoulder.
"I do not believe it whoever or whatever did… this stole the bucket without being seen, left it here to trick us and then left this little…gift just to mock us!" Lunara said as she observed Erik trying to remove the said gift from his net with a small rock "Well whoever or whatever did this is going to pay, I mean look what that thief did to my new net!" Erik said angrily as got the last bit of 'the gift' from his net which cost a week's allowance "At least we have a clue to help us figure out the perpetrator's identity." Lunara stated as drew the paw prints left by the said perpetrator of these food stealing crimes.
It was at that moment that Ricardo heard something so he turned his head left and right to find the right direction of where the sound was coming from when Lunara finished drawing the picture of their first clue she noticed her green partner in crime solving was turning his head in all directions "What is it Ricardo, what is wrong?" Lunara asked as she continued to watch him then before the two siblings knew it Ricardo took off heading for the apple orchard "Ricardo, wait for us, please!" Lunara yelled as she took to her heels and ran after him with Erik right behind her "Where's he going, Lunara?" Erik asked as he ran next to the younger of two sibling "I do not know Erik! Perhaps he has an idea of where the perpetrator is!" Lunara replied as she and her older brother tried to keep up with the speedy wood gecko but he was too fast as the two of them were losing him "Ricardo, please tell us where you are going?!" Lunara questioned her beloved starter Pokémon. Ricardo jumped in the air and landed on a tree branch he looked at the kids down below both stopped to catch their breath Lunara placed both her hands on her knees she looked up to Ricardo hoping to get an answer from him just then they heard a sound like cans rattling "Oh no!" Lunara realized as Ricardo nodded his head and went off again in the direction where the rattling was coming from Lunara then placed a hand on her brother's shoulder to get his attention "Hurry, Erik the perpetrator is that way!" Lunara pointed to the left as she and Erik ran after Ricardo again when the assisting detective got to the crime scene apples cores were everywhere the duo of siblings came in both painting after running for so long and far. When they both looked up "Oh no!" Lunara gasped "Look at this mess, there are cores everywhere!" Erik exclaimed with dismay "That crook is stealing our apples most of our hard work eaten, down the drain and in that thief's belly Lunara said as she observed the mess with sadness at the thought of someone or something stealing food that their family worked so hard to grow it brought tears to her eyes.
Ricardo was the first to notice his young trainer sadness as quick as a crack from a whip the green gecko ran right up into her arms as he licked his loving trainer's face Lunara then felt Erik place a hand on her shoulder she looked up at her smiling brother's face "Hey, don't worry, baby sis we'll find whoever or whatever did this and make it stop. So don't cry, ok?" Lunara nodded her head as she hugged both the guys while Ricardo licked her tears away she then smiled and giggled.
Children, Ricardo what on earth are you three doing out here? All three then turned to see Mewtwo and Kangaskhan with Pikachu two and Meowth two right behind them "Daddy, mom what are you doing here?" Lunara questioned "Khan Khan Khangas. Translation That is what we like to know. The big mother said "We just want to help you catch this perpetrator and look that thief stole our apples!" Lunara exclaimed with anger as she pointed at the mess left behind be the mysterious crook Ricardo caught something out of the corner of his eye something red he went to investigate as Kangaskhan told her babies about how dangerous it was to go out looking for a thief on their when they had no idea who or what did this even with Ricardo at their side the said Pokémon picked up the object and found out what it was "Treecko, tree treecko!" Ricardo called Lunara come here quick! "Ricardo?!" Lunara was at his side in an instant "What do you have there, my dear friend?" The moon marked girl asked as she examined what Ricardo found Lunara then gasped Something wrong, Lunara Mewtwo asked as he looked at his youngest and her very, first Pokémon "No, actually quite the opposite this apple has a bite mark on it." Lunara turned and presented them Ricardo's find "A bite mark?" Erik questioned as he and everyone who was present examined the second clue that was discovered.
"She's right, look!" True to what Lunara said and Ricardo found the apple did indeed have a bite mark on it "Good work Ricardo thanks to you we have two clues!" The seven year old girl gave praise as she petted her right hand partner on the head Lunara then took out her magnifying glass again for the second time as she held it close to the half-eaten fruit after turning it left and right "I think I know what we need to do." Lunara said as looked to everyone around her "What? Don't keep me in suspense here, baby sis you know I hate it when you do that!" Erik stated the mother of two then placed a hand on her son's head to quiet him down "It is just a hunch but according to the old rules of the detective world, all criminals return to the scene of the crime! So in other words the perpetrator will either return here or at the beach but it is just a hunch." Lunara finished explaining as she drew in a deep breath from talking so much That does sound like a good idea. Let us give it a try great job dear! Mewtwo praised his daughter as he smiled at her and Ricardo "Right on, let's do it!" Erik shouted as he raised his hand in the air I am afraid not children. "What?!" All three detectives yelled as they looked at the folks. This situation is too dangerous for you even though you have Ricardo with you. Kangaskhan nodded her head in agreement "But we want to help!" Erik proclaimed with determination "Yes, please, daddy we will not get in the way honest!" Lunara promised as she held her hands together Mewtwo looked at the three young ones then to his mate who gave him a reassuring nod Very well children but you must stay close to me and your mother at all times. Do you three understand? Mewtwo questioned as he waited for an answer "We understand!" The children said at once Ricardo looked a bit confused "I will tell you later, Ricardo but right now we have a perpetrator to catch!" Lunara exclaimed.
The plan was for everyone to wait at the two scenes where the perpetrator was so far Mewtwo, Kangaskhan, Pikachu two, Meowth two, the kids and Ricardo were at the beach where the first crime scene was another group of the land Pokémon was at the apple orchard. Meanwhile the water dwelling Pokémon were in the ocean waiting and ready as was the flying type group as they kept a look out in the sky Alright everyone remember the plan? Here at the beach we have the bucket filled with the Pokémon food that was in it before while at the orchard apples were baited out in the open now all we have to do is wait. The head of the family looked to everyone who nodded by the time everything was set the sun went down an hour after Lunara saw a silhouette behind the rocks Daddy, look over there by the rocks! Lunara said telepathically as she pointed at the rocks Mewtwo turned his head to see that his baby was right whatever it was it was heading straight for the bait when it got close to the bucket enough the trap was sprung and the net underneath it was pulled up high Alright now let us see who or what this thief is, everyone be careful and children stay back we do not know what we are up against. Mewtwo ordered as everyone took careful steps toward the net.
Haunter shined a lantern he brought with them when the grinning ghost held it up to the net they saw none other than a Mudkip a skinny, dirty Mudkip at that "Oh it is a baby Mudkip, how cute!" Lunara cooed as she saw the little one "Somebody pinch me! It is a Mudkip, if I'm dreaming don't wake me up." Erik begged as he saw a Mudkip for the very first time it looked just like his favorite Pokédoll but it was slightly bigger, dirty and most importantly real! Well I think we found our perpetrator. Mewtwo declared as he came closer to inspect their little food thief when he got too close the small water type it curled into somewhat of a ball and began to cry a little too "Mudkip mudkip mud mud!" (I'm so sorry I took your food I was just so hungry! Please don't hurt!) Mewtwo backed up a little with a sad face as everyone else started to have a sad faces too Do not be frighten, little one we are not going to hurt you, I promise. Mewtwo said as he placed a hand over his heart to show that the powerful legendary was indeed telling the truth "why did you steal our food in the first place, Mudkip?" Erik asked as he, Lunara and Ricardo took slow, careful steps so not to scare the caught perpetrator more than he already was Mudkip sighed as he began to explain his criminal actions "Mudkip Mudkip kip mud! Mudkip mud kip kip! Mudkip kip mud!" (Well it all started a month ago me and my friends were eating, playing around in the water, having a great time! Until a storm came and trashed everything our homes and the places where we like to eat and get our favorite foods we looked everywhere honestly we did! We tried to wait for our food sources to came back or find food close by but in the end we had no choice but to leave our home. One day I got separated from the others then I woke up here on your beach and I saw all this yummy food so I stayed even though I knew this was your food I stole it anyway and I'm so sorry! Mudkip then began to cry so loud everyone covered their ears.
Kangaskhan's motherly instincts kicked in as she rushed to release the poor little water type from the trap as he was released Mudkip would have fell if it wasn't for Erik catching him the mud fish looked expecting to see an angry face but instead he saw the face of one of the human children with a smile on his face as did the female and the Treecko right next to her "Hey don't sweat, little buddy, if it makes you feel any better sometimes I sneak food too, especially sweets." Erik whispered in Mudkip's ear this made them both giggle "Daddy, remember when we were watching the news and it said there was a big storm that ruined a lake where many Mudkips used to reside?" Lunara questioned as she petted the adorable, little food thief's head while holding her beloved Ricardo Yes, Lunara that is indeed very true! This little one must be one of the Mudkips. Mewtwo said as remembered watching the news with Lunara while Erik was snoozing with a bit of drool coming down the side of his mouth. "Kangaskhan kangaskhan kanga?" (Now that we found the culprit what should we do with him?) Everyone gave a thought at that question meanwhile Lunara saw how happy her brother and that hungry, little Mudkip looked together as he petted Mudkip's head while holding him.
Just then an idea came to her and she couldn't help but say it "Hey, everyone I have a solution that will make everyone happy especially, Erik and Mudkip." All at once many pairs of eyes turned to look at Lunara "I was thinking since Erik does not have a Pokémon yet and seeing that Mudkip really likes him maybe he can stay with us you know as Erik's first Pokémon." Lunara suggested shyly as she felt uncomfortable with a bunch of eyes staring at her "Yay! That sounds like the best idea you've ever had, baby sis!" Erik said as he agreed one hundred percent by hugging the mud fish Pokémon a little tighter "Can we dad, please? I promise I'll take good care of him and everything! Plus he's a Mudkip its destiny can I please dad?!" Erik pleaded as he got down on his knees Mewtwo then began to think when Kangakhan came to his side he looked to her as she spoke "Kangaskhan khan kangas." (Oh come on, dear they do look happy together plus it's a win win deal Erik gets a new friend and Mudkip gets a new home.) Kangaskhan said backing up her daughter's idea and her son's plea the psychic type father then looked to see both his children, Ricardo and Mudkip giving him puppy dog eyes then with a telepathic groan he fell down to the ground in defeat Mewtwo looked his eldest in the eye Oh, very well but Erik this little will be your Pokémon and you must take care of him. Do you understand my son? Mewtwo asked as he looked his son hard in the eye "Yes, yes I will thank you dad!" Erik thanked his father by hugging him tightly You are very welcome son, but you are hugging me too tightly! "Oops sorry, dad." Erik apologized as he unhanded his father "Thank you, mom!" Next the water loving boy hugged his mother tightly "Most of them all thank you, baby sis!" Erik hugged his little sister tightly but unlike the two hugs he gave Erik kissed Lunara forehead "Eewww!" Lunara said as she stuck her tongue out in disgust.
Oh, Erik one more thing. Mewtwo started saying but waited until his children and their Pokémon stop "Yeah, dad?" Erik asked nervously as he looked at his parents hoping they hadn't changed their minds and held his new Mudkip tightly Before you do anything son, please give him a bath he is filthy so scrub him down really good and get him something he appears to be half starved. "Sure, dad I'll do just that." Erik promised as he looked at his new pal from fin to toe and boy was the father of two right Mudkip was covered in mud and dirt from the neck up "Daddy is indeed correct he is one dirty, Mudkip he make me think of the first time we meet Ricardo and how dirty he was." Lunara stated as she remembered the first time the moon admiring girl meet her very first Pokémon she looked at Ricardo as she gave him a loving embrace "I sure do remember." Erik replied Mudkip began to lick himself clean both siblings noticed what the new member of their family was doing "Hey don't bother licking yourself, little buddy because it's bath time!" The seven year old boy decleared rather loudly causing Lunara and Ricardo to cover their ears while Mudkip looked up wondering what his new trainer was talking about "You know that you're a member of the family you might need a cool nickname to fit a cool guy like you so how does Sonora sound?" Erik asked as he didn't want to force his new friend to have a name he didn't like or force him to have one the young water type gave it a thought then licked the boy's face while he began to laugh "Well, Erik I do believe he said yes." Lunara said answering his question.
Once the group was inside everyone was their which was good because the newly nicknamed Mudkip dubbed Sonora felt really bad about the whole thing he explained the same thing he told his trainer and the others that were out with him they all forgave for his criminal deeds and welcomed him in their family with open arms, paws and hooves Sonora was waiting for Erik as his new trainer was going to get him something to eat "Ok, Sonora snack is served!" Erik announced in a French accent as he placed two bowels down one was made of stainless steel the other was a light blue with his nickname on it at the start and end of Sonora were two golden suns painted in it was the same Pokémon food from the bucket he stole earlier seeing it made the new family member feel guilty "Hey, don't worry about, Sonora it's ok to eat it." Erik reassured his very first Pokémon by petting his back "We all know you were just stealing food because you were hungry, Sonora but we forgive you after all you are family." Lunara stated as she looked up from brushing Ricardo whom nodded his head in agreement Sonora smiled and then he shoved his whole face in the food bowl Lunara resumed to brushing her own starter Pokémon while Erik began to sneak away Lunara, I'm going to get Sonora's bath ready. Make sure he stays there ok? Erik winked at his little sister who winked back meaning she would do her part for a fellow Pokémon trainer she kept an eye on the eating machine Pokémon while Erik went to get everything ready.
When Lunara thought the two young creatures weren't looking she used her psychic powers to place the brush back into it's for Ricardo's future grooming unfortunately both of them saw and gasped causing Lunara to drop the brush as she was caught red handed! The two little critters looked at Lunara with wide eyes and open mouth "Oh, dear. It seems it is time to tell you both the truth. Erik and I have psychic powers, come closer and I will tell you what my daddy and mom told me and Erik. Ricardo and Sonora sat closer to the little girl to hear this explanation that was about to take place "Well, I remember it like it was yesterday."
Flashback
One year ago six year old siblings Erik and Lunara were playing Pokémon battle with their dolls however the younger of two didn't seem so interested in their game "Hey, what's wrong, Lunara you aren't having fun?" Erik asked noticing his baby sister wasn't having fun like they usually do "Erik there's something I want to ask mommy and daddy." Lunara said as she got up to go find their parents "Hey, wait for me, baby sis!" Erik yelled as he rushed after Lunara not wanting to be by himself out of boredom and wondering what the curious girl wanted to askes the folks. Lunara and Erik searched until they found Mewtwo and Kangaskhan in the den enjoying some tea together the den had a nice coffee table between it was a long cream, leather sofa on the other side was a modern style, yellow sofa on the other side of the sofas was a periwinkle elegant loveseat on the left side of the den was an ameriwood glass door bookcase, next to each of the sofas were side tables with white doilies, on top of those doilies were small but lovely coral lamps for light during the night and the rock walls were painted a light pink with help from Nidoqueen two, Ninetales two and Haunter there was a nice round wall to give the room some light during the day. The parents of two were discussing something very important that very something that Lunara wanted to ask them (Do you really think the children are ready for it, honey what if it's too much for them to handle after all they're six years old?) Kangaskhan questioned as she looked her husband in the eye worried that her babies wouldn't be able to handle the shock I know, love I know but if we do not tell them now it will only get harder to tell them the truth, even I think Lunara and Erik are too young to learn of their origin however it is the right thing, so we must tell them now. Mewtwo stated as he held Kangaskhan's hands just then both of them saw Lunara walk in with Erik right behind her "Mommy, daddy can I, please ask you a question?" Lunara asked politely as she looked both her parents in the eye (Of course, baby what's wrong?" The mother of two questioned "Well…" Lunara started nervously as she looked at the ground Go on, child you and your brother can ask us anything Mewtwo encouraged his youngest baby "Well, I was wondering how come me and Erik don't look like you or mommy? We see some kids who look like their parents but me and Erik don't. How come, daddy how come?" Lunara pleaded for an answer as Erik stood right beside her considering he too wondered why he and his baby sister looked nothing like their parents.
Kangaskhan gasped as she turned to Mewtwo holding his hands with a worried expression on her face the same with her mate "Did I say something wrong?" Lunara questioned as she looked at her brother who just shrugged his shoulders as he scratched his head in confusion Actually, children there is something your mother and I have to tell you. Mewtwo said as he motioned for Lunara and Erik to take a seat on the other couch so the parents and their kids could talk and look each other in the eye in a more comfortable position "So, what's up, folks?" Erik questioned as the situation was becoming awkward and uncomfortable.
Well you see children it was six years ago at the time winter was coming we were gathering food when Pikachu two came to me she saw something unusual near the beach when she was getting a drink Pikachu two, Meowth two, Sandslash two, Ninetales two and Hitmonlee two and myself to where she saw this unusual thing when we all got there it was a shocking sight that shocked even myself right in front of us was a broken down ship all of us went inside to see what was in it and if their was something dangerous in the ship we meant three beings your cackling friend, Haunter whom he claimed to have found something in the upper chamber after he played a trick on all of us. This earned a couple of giggles from Lunara and Erik who hugged each other they looked back to their parents when they both stopped giggling meaning the parents of two could continue their explanation As I was saying the group and myself went up to the upper chamber of the ship in that chamber we found a bed, a table, a broken window but the most important thing in there was a crib and inside that crib were two human infants those human infants were you Lunara and Erik. Two gasps came from the children as they looked at each other holding hands "Please, daddy keep going." Lunara coaxed she and her older brother just had to know what happened We found no sign of any other humans on board when you both opened your little eyes you reached out to me a stranger. Mewtwo smiled as he remembered the first time he meant his little ones You both were so little and yet so brave not one ounce of fear in your eyes so I reached down to pick you up there was no fighting or struggling you two just snuggled up to me both of you were such tiny, fragile, little things yet neither of you showed any fear you also reached up to pet Pikachu two and Meowth two whom climbed up on my shoulders to get a better view. After that you both were fast asleep, it was at that moment Pikachu two told me I should adopt you as my daughter and son. Mewtwo stated as looked to Lunara and then Erik Once we were off the ship big, strong waves came in that took the broken vessel back out to sea leaving no trace to lead back to us then we all took you home, a few months after that I meant your beautiful mother Mewtwo smiled as she and the psychic parent held hands and kissed each other hearing "Eww, gross!" in the background from Lunara and Erik "So what about our birth parents?" Erik asked so suddenly that both parents stopped kissing then looked to each other.
Mewtwo took a deep breath then with a heavy heart said telepathically We have no knowledge of your birth parents, children I found both of you alone on the ship safe for Haunter of course. Lunara and Erik were speechless and a bit down hearted knowing the truth made them confused. Was everything about them a lie was everything they knew wrong? The children then felt themselves being lifted looking they noticed their father was using his psychic powers to lift them then placed Lunara on his lap while Erik was seated on their mother's then both parents embraced them with loving arms Know children no matter what you two are our babies and we love more then anything in the world. Do you both understand? Mewtwo questioned as he looked Lunara and Erik right in the eye "We understand." The now found out adopted children answered in union whom turned to look each other in confusion at saying the same thing at the same time "Thank you, mommy, and daddy we love you." The six year old girl stated as she hugged her parents "Yea it probably wasn't easy telling us all that stuff so thanks." Erik added as he have the folks a hug himself the parents and their babies held each other in a group embrace.
End of flashback
"That is the story of how Erik and myself came to this island." Lunara finished as she looked both Pokémon in the eye whom had their mouths agape in astonishment the night loving girl then giggled "Yes, it is a lot to take in at first I know." Out of the corner of her eye she saw Erik giving the signal that Sonora's bath was ready "Hey, Sonora can you come here? I have a really cool fish toy for you and a surprise!" Erik called secretly from the bathroom "Sonora, that sounds like fun, you should go see it." Lunara encouraged Sonora hoping the small water type would fall for the bait which he did as fast his little feet could carry him! The four legged mud fish couldn't wait to see what kind of wonderful toy and surprise his new trainer had for him. Erik kept a look out for his new best friend when the scheming boy saw his new partner he grinned in a naughty way while rubbing his hands together like cartoon villain "Mudkip!" Erik turned to see Sonora waging his tail in excitement "Well, I see you're ready but there are some things you need to do first." Erik stated in a hush-hush kind of tone the small amphibian like Pokémon looked at his trainer in anticipation "First you need to close your eyes." Erik instructed Sonora did just that "Next you need to lay down on your belly like you're flying." Sonora did as instructed laid flat on his little, blue belly "Now finally, pretend that you're flying high in the sky." Erik held out his arms in demonstration as he finished his instruction for Sonora to get his prize.
Once the sun marked boy knew his Mudkip was lost in the instruction he gave to the blue little fella, slowly and carefully he picked up Sonora on his sides then Erik moved his hands let, right, up and down so Sonora would think he was flying This is gonna be good! Erik thought with a mischievous grin as he and his soon to be clean Pokémon went into the bathroom unknown by Sonora who was in his mind flying above the white clouds doing all kinds of turns but then the clouds got a bit warm and wet it wasn't until Sonora opened his eyes that he found himself in warm water with light blue bubbles and as his new trainer promised a navy blue wined up fish toy with small stars on the sides was in there too. "Surprise, Sonora!" Erik shouted as raised his hands high in the air the newest member of the family had a confused look on his face then looked up at Erik "Mudkip." Sonora said Erik's name as a warning in his native language the newly appointed trainer then looked at his partner seeing a bit of anger on the now wet Mudkip "Sorry, Sonora I didn't think you'd get in the bath if I told you so I had to trick you into coming in here." Erik explained honestly as he looked his little buddy "Yea I don't like to take bathes too but look I got you that cool fish toy just like I promised you." Erik finished his explanation as he gave Sonora the promised fish toy hoping to get his forgiveness when the star-shaped gill Pokémon got the toy it was nothing like he ever seen before it was moving but had to be wined up first with the strange little silver thing sticking out of it all in all Sonora licked his trainer's face in appreciation which got a laugh from him "Thanks buddy, I'm glad you like it!" Sonora wagged his cute, little, blue tail in happiness that he made Erik then put the toy back in to watch it swim around again.
While the little water type had his back turned his sneaky trainer dropped some water type shampoo in his hands then applied it to his very first Pokémon's head whom was startled upon contact "Sorry, buddy but you're dirty and you've got to be clean so please, for the both of us don't put a fight ok?" Erik pleaded as he began to scrub Sonora who proved that he didn't like taking bathes as much as his trainer did "Oh c'mon, little buddy hold still will ya?" Erik begged as he held on to a squirming Sonora whom was trying desperately to get out of the tub while Erik was being splashed by soapy water once he got the ex-thief to settle down he got the condition on the reluctant Sonora's head "Ok, little buddy after this is the body wash, then it'll be over, I promise. Erik said truthfully as he was done washing his little buddy with the conditioner next the day loving boy got the final thing he was going to use to bathe Sonora "Don't worry about smelling like a girl, Sonora, I got ya blueberry boom! Erik made a booming sound as he showed the worried water type the body wash Sonora took a whiff of the body wash and he was right it did smell like blueberries!
"So are you ready to finish off this bath so we can go get some dinner?" Erik questioned as he got a nod from Sonora as his response "Alright then let's do it!" the sun marked boy exclaimed as he poured some of the blueberry smelling wash on the excited Pokémon it was the first time little Sonora smiled since he got shampoo on him once again Erik began scrubbing for the last time "Alright, Sonora we're all done! Now to dry you off." Erik said as he got a blue stripped towel to dry Sonora off with.
Meanwhile down stairs
"Daddy, the plates and bowels are all set!" Lunara told as she finished setting the table with Ricardo's help of course sure his leg was still injured but he was able to help out his trainer a bit "Thank you for helping me, Ricardo." Lunara said with gratitude as she pat her helpful friend's head Erik, are you done bathing Sonora? If you are dinner is ready, son Mewtwo telepathically called his sun marked boy as he got some of the food on the table the rest was carried in by Kangaskhan "Ok, pant here we pant come guys." Erik stated in between pants as the first to be seen of the duo was Sonora who struck a pose showing off his shiny, clean body "I'm glad you're happy mister squirmy." Erik stated angrily as he came down Lunara and Ricardo tried to suppress their laughs as the older boy came down covered in bubbles and panting due to him holding on to a struggling Sonora from getting out of the bath tub "Well at least he's clean unlike me. So is dinner ready yet?" Erik finished his complaint with a hungry look on his face and licking his lips. Yes, dinner is ready son, but first things first please dry yourself off please. Mewtwo with his question confirmed he handed the wet boy a towel to dry himself with "Thanks dad." Erik said as began to wipe the towel on his head so he could sit down and eat "Do think, Sonora can eat again? After all he just had a big snack." Lunara questioned as she set down Ricardo's food and water bowels so she may take a seat at the family table and eat just then the topic of their subject came in carrying his food bowel placing it down at Erik's feet Sonora looked up at his trainer with big, sad puppy dog eyes and pointing at his open mouth giving them his most cutest and pathetic whimper he could muster "Well, I guess that answer's your question huh, sis?" Erik replied as he left the table to get Sonora some more food and water when the newly appointed trainer came back the hungry little water went straight for the grub jumping and going underneath the boy's feet as tried to get a bite of the delicious food that was going to be given to him "Hey! Stop that, Sonora if you keep that up you're going to make me spill it all!" The young swimmer excliamed as he tried not to spill his Pokémon's food or step on the Mudkip's tail while juggling the said food.
"Do you require assistance, Erik?" Lunara asked as she watched the show unfold while trying not to laugh "No thanks, I got it!" Erik insisted as he placed the food for Sonora next to Ricardo so they could get better acquainted when the water type's Pokémon food was placed down on the floor the hungry Sonora just dived on in getting a bit of the grub on his face "Treecko tree!" (Hello, there Sonora!" Ricardo greeted his new friend with a big smile the piggy water type looked from his delicious morsels to face the wood gecko "Mudkip mud!"(Hey, buddy!) Sonora greeted right back with a bit of food still in his mouth he raised his tail and made it wage a bit Ricardo looked questiongly at the light blue appendage "Mud, mudkip mud!" (C'mon don't leave me hanging!" The excited water type said trying to give his green pal a hint Ricardo snapped his fingers as he got the message the little green gecko gave Sonora a high tail! Ricardo and Sonora shared a laugh together that laugh was so hard they fell on their backs both stopped for a moment then the laughter began again "Kangaskhan!" (Dinner time!" Kangaskhan announced as she brought in the rest of the food once everyone was seated at the table they gave their thanks to Kangaskhan and Mewtwo by saying "Thanks for the food!" "Wow mom, everything looks great!" Erik said looking at all the delicious food as his mouth began to water there on the table for tonight's dinner was spaggitie and meatballs along with garlic bread on the side, mashed potatoes, and fruit salad as for the drinks it was either milk, water or tea and the most important part of any meal dessert which was chocolate devil's food cake or cupcakes with fruit on top! "Oh, most of my favorite foods, yummy!" Lunara exclaimed as she grabbed some mashed potatoes, spaghetti, fruit salad, garlic bread for a drink she got tea. "This is so deliciously awesome!" Erik agreed with his sister as he grabbed his favorites from the table which were spaggitie, meatballs on top of it with garlic bread and the chicken Caesar salad for his choice of drink it was milk the sun marked boy could drink milk with any meal any time. "So, dad, mon can Sonora sleep in my room?" Erik asked as he looked his father in the eyes Mewtwo and Kangaskhan stopped eating to look at their son who waited nervously and patiently Well son, since Ricardo sleeps in your sister's room we it is only fair that Sonora sleeps in your bedroom as well so yes he may. Mewtwo answered his son's question with a smile "Awesome!" Erik exclaimed as he jumped out of his chair to hug his parent "Did ya, hear that little buddy?" Erik questioned as he hugged his new best friend whom was done eating and turned to his trainer "Mudkip?" (Hear what?) Sonora asked as he licked his lips "You get to sleep in my room!" Erik said delivering the message as he did the happy water type gave him a big hug and licked his face. "Aw, how sweet!" Lunara said not wanting her to feel left out Ricardo jumped up on the moon marked girl's lap and gave her a big hug and a few licks as well everyone awed at the display of love and friendship toward the two young trainers "Kangas khan khan kangaskhan khan? (Well, now that we saw that display of affection who's ready for dessert?) All family members cheered at that motion.
"That was delicious!" Lunara said as she finished eating her piece of cake "I couldn't eat another bit." Erik agreed as he patted his belly then let out a big, long belch "Erik!" The younger sister exclaimed as she smelt her brother's terrible meatball burp "Sometimes ya gotta let the dogs run, baby sis." The full bellied boy replied Sonora was laying on his back due to his own belly being full "Mud!" The full bellied water type let out his own belch "Like trainer, like Pokémon apparently." Lunara stated as she watched her older brother and his very first Pokémon head into the family room "C'mon, Sonora let's go have us a burping contest!" Erik proposed as he picked up the pigged out water Pokémon who nodded his head eagerly agreeing to do the activity his new trainer suggested "Oh, brother." The younger of two siblings sighed.
In the family room Erik and Sonora were walking into the family room until a small belch came from Sonora's mouth Erik began to giggle "I'll have whatever he's having." The newly appointed trainer said as he gave a burp of his own then Sonora burped again but a bit louder and longer the human boy turned his head to look at his blue companion "Are you challenging me, Sonora?" Erik questioned as he fully turned to face his opponent "Mudkip." (Maybe.) The said challenger let out a loud burp once more "Challenge accepted." Erik hit the back of his head, a belch came out, he threw his hand up as if throwing a piece of popcorn in the air to his mouth then let out a belch just like before he then pointed two index fingers at Sonora signaling him that it was his turn the fun having water type was happy to oblige he turned to his left side then he broke wind when it ended Sonora nodded his head with a smug look on his face the sun marked boy held out a his finger "Pull my finger. Oops! Too late!" Erik declared as he withdrew his index the day loving trainer burped in his hand, shook it like he was shaking a pair of dice then placed the hand back over his mouth, swallowed the gas that was in his palm just then a loud grumble came from the boy's stomach "You're in big trouble now, little buddy." Erik warned as he bent over halfway "Mudkip." (Oh no.) A loud fart came right out of Erik as he pointed upward like a rocket while he did that his terrible tuts sky rocketed as well while the boys were busy laughing, farting and burping they didn't notice that Mewtwo came in to tell them it was time for bed he groaned as the smell of the boy's game got into his nose Sonora was waving his paw to shoo the smell away but was still laughing then he noticed his trainer's father standing behind the boy "Mudkip." (Erik.) Sonora tried to warn trying to signal him to stop "I'm not stopping till your skin comes off!" Erik said thrusting his arm up and down the gas was still coming he then bent over to let out a really loud and long fart the tuting boy then turned to see his father standing behind him right then Erik's wind was silenced Boys, it is time for bed. The father of two stated both contestants nodded not wanting to invoke the male parent's wrath thus ending their burp/fart competition in an agreeable draw.
In Lunara's bathroom which was quite large it had a big, long bathtub a white curtain with vivillon of different colors on it, the toilet had a light blue cover on top of it bursting with roses and lavender speaking of plants on the sink was a cherry blossom scented candle and a glass bowl filled with clean water floating in it were blue rose petals, on the bottom of the sink was a door to the inside of the sink, on top of the sink was a light up mirror long enough for two people to see themselves in, on the left side of it was a cabinet that also had a mirror on it the walls were a light magenta color, vines with red roses were painted on top across the room and right above the toilet was a window that had violet curtains covering it.
On the toilet lid was Ricardo watching as Lunara unwrapped his leg to see how it was recovering "Alright, Ricardo let us see how your leg is doing tonight." The recently appointed female trainer said as she finished unwrapping the last of the bandages to see how the wood gecko's leg was doing both of them braced themselves for what they were about to see Lunara took a look to see that the swelling had gone down a lot but not completely it was starting to return to its normal green color as well "Ricardo, it appears your leg is healing very well hopefully in a matter of seven days it will be completely healed up." Ricardo gave a shout of glee as he clapped his hands at the news of his walking appendage being healed in a matter of seven days soon he would be able to walk without needing help from anyone or have a slight stinging pain in his leg whenever he walked "I might be wrong though so daddy said he we are all going to take you and Sonora to the Pokémon center tomorrow just to make sure you both are alright."
The healing grass type let out a mumble with a worried expression on his face "Oh, Ricardo there is no reason to be alarmed the nurse joy of Evermore city is a very nice lady and her assistant Chansey is so gentle not to mention adorable everything will be fine, I promise." Lunara said trying to reassure her three-fingered companion as she petted his head while he closed his eyes and smiled enjoying the feel of his trainer's touch "Alright, I think it's about time to leave and go to bed rest will do your injured leg a world of good." Lunara commented as she ceased her petting as she stood up to pack up the first-aid kite Ricardo still had a big smile on his face.
Lunara excited her bathroom while she was holding Ricardo in her arms as his leg was not healed enough for him to put any pressure on it "Hey, Lunara!" The said girl turned around to find her older brother with Sonora walking right next to him "Hello, Erik and Sonora how are you two doing?" The youngest trainer asked as she looked at her brother's Sonora whom appeared like a whole new Pokémon all that feeding and bathing really did the trick for the little fella Lunara could also tell the little water type was just brushed too "Wow, Erik, Sonora looks just wonderful you really did a good job!" The purple loving girl complimented "I can tell he has also been brushed too." Sonora wagged his tail at the compliments he and his trainer were receiving "Thanks, baby sis. By the way how's Ricardo doing is his leg getting better?" Erik noticed Ricardo being held by his little sister "It's getting a little bit better, I checked and the swelling has gone down some. "Did you hear that daddy is going to take us to the Pokémon Center?" Lunara questioned just to make sure her older brother got the information beforehand "Nope." Erik answered cheerfully with a big, happy grin on his face Lunara almost fell over at hearing this "I should have known." The younger of two siblings sighed as she knew her older brother is always the last one to find out about any information Children it is time for bed. Mewtwo told his little ones in their minds "Ok, dad." Erik said as he picked up Sonora in his arms Alright, daddy! Lunara replied in her mind as she petted Ricardo's head with a smile on her face "I guess we will see each other tomorrow. Goodnight, Erik." Lunara said to her brother as she began to head to her bedroom "Yea, goodnight, baby sis." The older brother replied as he used his nickname for Lunara as Erik too made way to go to bed "Come on, little buddy let's hit the hey." The new duty bound trainer said both boys shared a yawns, a few giggles and headed for bed.
"Behold! The door to our bedroom!" Erik declared dramatically as he showed Sonora a light blue door with his sun symbol painted on it "Mudkip?" The little blue said in a ''yea so what?'' kind of way "I know what you're thinking. What's so cool about this door? The little blue Pokémon nodded it head "Well behind this door is where my or should I say our bedroom is check it!" Erik said as he opened the door to their now shared bedroom to see what laid with in it.
"Mudkip!" Sonora said in awe as he looked around the Erik's bedroom it was safe to say the boy's favorite color was definitely blue because the walls were seaside villa, the shag carpets were a sandy beige color that looked like beach sand, the bed was king size with a navy blue blanket on top and two light blue aqua pillows on the front end next to the bed on the right side was a Brownwood table with an aqua blue lamp with seashells painted on it, at the right side of the bedroom was a long, wooden dresser that was blueberry colored with bubbles painted on it at the far left was a flat screen TV there was also a wooden chest, a blue poke ball piggy bank and a box filled with tissues. On the left side of the room was a dresser of the same colors with the same kind of bubbles painted on but unlike the other one this dresser was taller on top of it was a lamp the bottom part of it was in the shape of a white seashell and the top was a drum shade not fare from it was a strange thing that had a silver top and bottom the inside of it blue liquid with white stuff floating in it. "Mudkip! Kipmud mud?" (Erik! What's that thing?) Sonora asked pointing at the object on the dresser "That, my dear blue pal is a lava lamp it may not give off much light but it sure is cool to look at aye, Sonora?" Erik explained with a smile on his face but what really caught the water types eye was a tiny little Mudkip sitting on his trainer's bed the curious Sonora leapt out of the boy's arms and landed on the bed but when he did it began to slosh around and made it really hard to stand on straight. "Incoming!" Before he knew what was going Erik did a belly flop on the bed that sent him flying straight up in the air! "Woah!" Erik shouted as the boy saw his little buddy fly high "Don't worry, Sonora I'll catch ya, little buddy!" Erik assured his pokemon in a panicking voice as he moved around quickly trying to figure out where Sonora will land just as the four legged water type was coming down the new trainer fell on his back luckily he was still on the bed even luckier that the air born Pokémon landed on the boy's stomach "Oof!" A tired Erik exclaimed as his head came forward then back down as he began to pant "Sonora, are you ok?" The seven year old boy asked as he caught his breath and looked up at his special friend for a moment Sonora had a blank stare and his mouth opened wide then a squeal of joy came out of him followed by clapping from cute little paws "Oh, good, you're ok." Sighed the newly appointed male trainer then the little star finned Pokémon then began to jump up and down the watered filled bed laughing as he did so.
"Sorry, little buddy but there's no bed jumping tonight." Erik said in a stern voice with his arms folded and eyes closed "Muuuud." Sonora whined with a pouty look on his face then a smile grew on the male child's face and lost its sternness "Without me!" Exclaimed the happy faced boy as he too jumped up and down on the bed with his new best friend they had a good time laughing and jumping having a great time until they heard a knock on the door both immediately stopped their marry making, looking in the direction the knock came from. Once the duo landed on the bed they hugged each other in fear, worried that they were going to get scolded I hope you are getting ready for bed, young man. Mewtwo's voice came from the other side of the door "Just about done, dad." Erik said hesitantly as he began to break out in a nervous sweat still hugging Sonora close to him after thirty five seconds both boys gave a sigh of relieve and released themselves from each other's arms Because, Erik Mewtwo began as the boys gave a yelp and returned to their frightened embrace As you know it is now time for bed. "Yeah, dad I know goodnight." Goodnight, son see you and your new friend in the morning, I love you. "Love you too, dad, goodnight. Erik said as he and Sonora once again waited until Mewtwo was gone this time they waited for a minute or two "Gee that was a close call huh, Sonora?" The new bound trainer questioned his new BFF the little star-finned nodded his head quickly the two new found friends released each other from their scared embrace and gave the door one last look before Erik gave a loud yawn as he stretched his limbs then Sonora gave out a loud yawn too then smelled something funky and not in a good way the little blue fella started to sniff in the air until he came to his trainer's armpit then Sonora started to gag at that moment the sleepy boy saw what the little water type was doing then asked "Hey, what's up, little buddy?" "Mudkip mud!" (You've got stinky pits!) Yelped the grossed out new family member while holding his nose. The human boy lifted both his pits to see sweat spots not just his pits but on the chest area of the shirt too.
"Oops! He he he. Chuckled Erik in embarrassment "I guess I should change my shirt." "Mud Mudkip?" (Ya think?) The clammy male child went to his dresser to get a new shirt and threw the other one in the laundry basket "Alright, pal tell me what you think and give it to me straight." Sonora looked at the sweat free shirt Erik just put on it was dark blue with neon blue colored stars and blue bubbles "Mudkip kip kipmud!" (Cool like a beach breeze, Erik!) "Thank you, thank you you're all just too much!" The cleaned shirted boy said in an Elvis accent as he waved his hand in the air as if there was an audience. "Well, now, that's all said and done I am tired so I say we hit the hay before we really get caught." The beginning trainer advised his little buddy "Mudkip." (Good idea.) Sonora began to lick himself as he too was covered in sweat while Erik got back on the bed and pulled down the blanket then got under it "Goodnight, Sonora love you buddy." Erik said affectionately as he petted his very first Pokémon's back as the sleepy water type curled up next to his trainer both of them drifting to sleep.
Around nine thirty am everyone was starting to wake up to enjoy a brand new day. A Saturday to be exact which was the children's favorite day speaking of the children both were in their bathrooms getting washed up with their recently obtained Pokémon partners in the bathroom of Lunara the female child was brushing her long, curly hair while her new best friend Ricardo was grooming himself being careful of his injured leg "Well, Ricardo." Lunara said as she put her brush down and turned to look at the wood gecko whom was done with his grooming looked up at the girl with a smile growing on his face "Today is the day me, you, mom, daddy, Erik and Sonora go to the Pokémon center for the first time. What do you think of that?" Lunara questioned then noticed that Ricardo had a worried expression on his face then a realization came to her as she began to remember their conversation last night"Oh! That is right this is the first time you will be going to the Pokémon center." The human female said as she reached down to grab Ricardo and pulled him into her arms to hug him bringing one of them up to rub his back "There, there my dear friend you are not going alone I will be with you every step of the way and it will also be Sonora's first check up too so do not worry." Lunara said trying to reassure the nervous little wood gecko while rubbing his back in hope to bring him comfort Ricardo looked up at the human female nodding his head "Splendid! Now let us go have some breakfast." Lunara declared as she opened the door using one hand since the other was still holding her little green best friend heading to the kitchen to see if the food was ready.
Meanwhile in Erik's bathroom the boys were getting ready to start the day too Erik was brushing his teeth Sonora sat on the toilet watching not understanding what the boy was doing. Taking a peek at his best buddy the human male saw Sonora's curious expression Erik then gave a mouth closed smile, grabbed a cup filled, it with warm water, poured all the contents in his mouth. Slouching the liquid around for a bit then spat it out in the sink. "So, Sonora you curious about what I was doing?" Erik questioned in response the water type Pokémon who nodded his head "Well, I was brushing my teeth like I do every day. The young boy then came closer to his best friend's star shaped ear. "If not I'll get a good licking from mom and dad, when I say licking that doesn't mean the licking as in you giving yourself a bath, licking as in getting a real scolding from the folks." Erik whispered out the last sentence Sonora then brought his paw up to his mouth and made a shushing sound as he smiled "Thanks, pal." The newly appointed male trainer said as he petted the small water type Pokémon on his head being mindful of the fin on top "Now let's go get some breakfast I'm starving!" Erik declared as Sonora nodded his head in agreement once the bathroom door was opened both boys went running to the kitchen for their breakfast!
Everyone, humans and Pokémon were drawn to the delicious aroma of home cooked breakfast! On the table was scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and some fruit once everyone got to their places they began to eat. Mewtwo was at his usual place the head of the table Kangaskhan was on his right side while the sun and moon marked children were on his left side next to each other and on the floor next to them were their new best friends Ricardo and the newest addition Sonora happily eating out of their food bowls Mewtwo wiped his mouth and placed his silverware down to get Erik's and Lunara's So children, as you know today we are going to the Pokémon center to make sure Ricardo and Sonora are doing well. "Yes, I remember and I already told Erik about it." Lunara informed the powerful psychic type Pokémon. Very good, my daughter now I know this will be yours and your Pokémon's first time out in public so I expect you both to be on your best behavior. Do you understand, children? The father of two asked "We understand!" The siblings said remembering how their parents told them to be good around other people. So, after we have breakfast and you two have changed into your clothes we will go to the center. "Sounds like a plan to me, dad!" The oldest of the siblings said after eating some fruit "It does sound like a good plan." Lunara stated agreeing with her Brother on the plan for their Pokémon.
When everyone was done with breakfast the children went to their bedrooms to change into their clothes since Lunara was a girl Ricardo had to wait for her outside leaning against their bathroom door after five minutes the human female came out fully clothed "Well, how do I look?" The moon marked child asked as she gave a slow twirl. The wood gecko examined his trainer from top to bottom then gave her a big thumbs up while balancing himself on his green tail being careful with his bad foot "Thank you, my dear friend, now let us get to the family room so we can go the Pokémon center." The still recovering Treecko nodded his head nervously still not sure if this center would be a nice place like everyone said it was Lunara noticed her friend's fearful expression "Do not worry, Ricardo everything is going to be fine, honest." The female child reassured as she cuddled her Pokémon and in response the worried wood gecko gave a small smile which made his trainer smile too.
The boys were getting ready to go to the Pokémon center as well. Being the same gender Sonora was allowed to be in the same room as Erik the newly acquired Mudkip watched his trainer dress himself "Well, buddy I guess it's time to hit the road to the Pokémon center. So are ya ready to go, pal?" When Erik looked in his partner's direction Sonora's tail was twitching and his head was turned so the human boy couldn't see Sonora's face "Hey, Sonora, What's up, little buddy?" The newly responsible trainer asked worried that something was wrong with his new best friend. Hearing the concern voice Sonora looked up at his trainer's face with a worried expression "What's wrong, Sonora? You look all freaked out and stuff." Erik began to tape a finger on his chin trying to figure out why the star gilled Pokémon had such a face then a realization just hit him right inside the boy's brain "Sonora, I'm so sorry." The human child said as he knelt to the ground looking the amphibian in the eye "I just remembered this is your first time going to the Pokémon center I should have guessed you'd be a little out of it." The young male trainer said as he petted his little blue friend on the head while avoiding the top long fin "Aw don't worry pal you're not going in this alone after all I'll be going too, so nothing to worry about." Sonora looked up at his best friend/trainer with a small smile "Well I guess it's time to go meet the others downstairs." Erik said as he looked Sonora in the eye "Mudkip." The water quadruped Pokémon nodded feeling a bit more confident in knowing that his young confidant will be with him. "Ok then, let's get this show on the road!" Erik shouted as he raised his fist in the air!

Sorry it took so long to post this but my old proof reader was a bit slow but now that I've Grammarly hopefully it'll help with my chapter and I'm also sorry about the horizontal lines it was my first time working with them I'll try to do better with them next time, but please I hope you will enjoy this chapter and accept it as my Christmas gift from me to all of you.
