English Class

Class was boring as usual; Ally tried her best staying awake during the power point. She looked down to her note and tried to refocus herself on the class subject, but all she could understand was something about The Great Gatsby , and her side doodles from when she began to doze off. when the power point ended, Ally tried to ask Kimmy what it was about until Ms. Becking, called on Ally.

"Ally what did you think of Daisy's character?"

'great' thought Ally, ' Ask about the one person I haven't done any research on'.

"I ahh- I thought- that ahh-" She stuttered nervously, as she begin to make up an answer that will show that she actually knows what she is talking about, that was until she heard a small laugh from the blonde boy who was only a few seats away from her. She turned her head towards him only to see him speak up.

"Mr. Becking, I would like to share my thoughts on , if that's okay with Miss Dawson" said Austin with a smile on his face.

"Is that okay with you Ally?" asked her teacher.

"yea- I'm okay with it"

"Alright then, Austin"

"Alright so here's the thing, I think that Daisy pretty much is an idiot. I mean she chose money over her one true love, if I were her - you know if I were a girl and all- I would never choose riches over the person that I love, it's the most idiotic thing a person can do." Ally stared at him in shock, she never knew Austin could talk about love in such a way. He was always so indifferent about that subject.

"Thank you Austin , that was an excellent answer, anything to add miss Dawson?"

"I don't think I can top that Ms." she replied

"Alrighty then, lets continue, your homework for the weekend is to write about who is your….."

Soon enough Ally was in her own world, she realized that Austin had a very clear view of what he would do for the person that he loved. 'would he be willing to do that for Cassidy?' she questioned herself. She heard the bell ring snapping her out of her thoughts she grabbed her journal/ songbook and shoved it her bag.

The rest of her day was pretty much a normal day. She walked around during lunch, she decided that she want to have some time to herself. She found a vacant bench and sat down pulling out her song book in the progress. Ally wrote songs since kindergarten, it was then where she wrote her very first song; she called it ' The butterfly Song' yea it's not so creative - but hey she was just a 5 year old girl- point was she loved music since then, she even learned how to play the piano. She loved singing but she had terrible stage fright, so the idea of ever becoming a performer vanished. Instead she wanted to become a Songwriter for artist. She began to write down some lyrics.

'Hey [Boy] I really wanna let you know,

Your style, it's something that's so loveable

You laugh, and everyone around you stops

Your smile, I wish you knew just what you got'

The lyrics had been in her head ever since Austin begin to pop up in her mind. Okay so maybe She had developed a small crush on him. But it was nothing big. She continued to write.

"hmm the beginning sounds pretty good but that second line sounds off." she turned after hearing a husky voice from behind her shoulder. After realizing who I was she Shut her song book, and began to stutter in attempts of say his name, until find she managed to choke out "Ausin!"

"Took you long enough Dawson" he said looking down at her. "and that word should be 'natural' instead of 'loveable' get me?"

"Wh- why are you here!? Did you follow me?"

"Well you see, I was trying to hide from Cassidy, She's been a bit uhh crazy lately" he said as he continued to ask about her song book.

"I Didn't know you wrote songs?"

"I- I - I don't!"

"then what was that?"

"Nothing!"

" How could that be nothing? that was great, I wish I could write songs like that, I can't really write any, Dez said that it's because I don't know how to express myself, then again he also called himself the love whisperer."

" Wait- you like performing?" she asked

" Well yea, I taught myself how to play the guitar, drums, Piano, harmonica, and I can play a trumpet threw another trumpet!"

"wow that's awesome! I can only play the piano and write songs, and sing a bit."

"So you CAN write songs! let me see!" he said as he began to reach out for her song book, but soon after beginning hit by Ally

"Don't touch my book, Moon!" she screamed.

"okay okay, I won't touch! so why don't you perform for the talent show?"

"I wish but I have stage fright, why don't you?"

"I wish, but i couldn't write a song to save my li- WAIT what if you write me a song? you write! and I rock!"

" I- I don't know Aus-"

"Oh come on Ally! it'll be perfect!"

Ally stood in silence for a while until she made her decision.

"Well I guess I can give a try.."

"Oh my god really!? Awesome! thank you thank you! this will be awesome you'll see!" he said and he pulling in for a hug, as she pull in for a handshake, soon after he moved in for a handshake and she for a hug, soon decided to just hug it out.

'I hope I made the right decision' she thought.
