As Keitaro sat in homeroom studying his school schedule he came to the realization that these were all classes that he was adept in. He looked through his notebooks happily seeing equations that he knew how to do. As he sits there looking through the pages he felt a pair of eyes looking at him sending a shiver down his spine. He knew exactly who they belonged to. He had felt them last night and in the morning when he woke up. He turns around to see Mizore sitting in her desk with a steady glance on him. Mizore then smiles and says "It usually takes you longer to notice me staring. Maybe we are soulmates after all." At this Keitaro says "N-No your just making me really cold is all." At this Mizore's smile deepens. Keitaro quickly turns back around and buries his head into the notebooks pages. Moka looks at him worried and thinks 'I wonder what's been wrong with him lately?' To this the other Moka says to her "Yeah something's off about him. The other day his aura was completely different." She stared hard at him and thought 'Oh Tsukune...' After a while Mrs. Nekonome addressed the class reminding them that using their monster forms on school grounds was strictly prohibited. Keitaro then asked "What if a student was a human and didn't have one?" The teacher then replied with "Such a silly question Mr. Aono you know just as much as everyone else that any human found on campus would be put to death immediately." At this everyone in the class started laughing and to seem normal Keitaro awkwardly laughed along.
Upon reaching his next class it came with the surprise that Ruby was up walking around. Keitaro went to her and said "Finally up and about I see. Glad to see your ok." She smiles and says "Yes it was a simple matter of using a healing spell." The question was then brought up as to why she was there in which she responded with "Its really a long story..." She then began to rant on about hows shes acting as an assistant to some of the teachers that day. As he went to go take his seat she thinks to herself 'I'll also be keeping a close eye on you Mr. Urashima.' When the class started Keitaro found it easy to answer any question thrown at him. He thought to himself 'Id take this over college Lit anyday. As he looked around the classroom he reminded himself that each of the other students would kill him if given the opportunity. The thought of this sent a shiver down his spine and nearly made him throw up. As he progressed through the rest of his classes he noticed that Ruby was in every class he had. On his way back to the dorms Gin stopped him and asked "Where do you think your going?" Keitaro stared at him for a minute and thought 'Oh shit he must still be mad for the other day!' As he got ready to brace for a hit Gin placed a hand on his shoulder and said happily "We need to go the newspaper clubs next field trip to the human world." They walked to the club room getting there right as everyone else did. The group sat around the table silently for a while until Mizore broke it by saying "We could go skiing." At this everyone else in the group said no and Kurumu added "Last time Tsukune almost got killed. Remember after one of your plots to steal him." Mizore grumbled biting back her tongue for she knew she was right. Keitaro than thought 'Wait a minute this might be the perfect chance to get to Hinata..." He then spoke up and said "How about we go to Hinata. I hear its supposed to be nice this time of year." Everyone looked at Gin as he pulled out a map and showed it to the table and said "Hmm it is a nice place. Ive heard nice things about it." He shows the table pictures of it and thinks to himself 'I've heard about an all girl dorm being run there as well.' At this he grins and says "Ok all in favor of Tsukune idea?" Everyone in the room raised their hands and Gin says "Its unanimous this is where we will be going for our next field trip. Ill run it by Mrs. Nekonome sos he can get a bus ready for it." Mizore then clings onto Keitaro and says "Good choice sweetie." At this Kurumu stands and says "He would never go out with you hes in love with me isnt that right Tsukune." Moka then says "He's no ones property. Hes not a thing a none of us have the right to call him ours!" Yukari jumps up and says "Yea Moka's right its his choice!" Kurumu looks at them and shouts "You two are only saying that because you know he would never choose either of you!" She then points to Mizore and says "This snow bitch has a better chance in hell then him picking on of you!" At this Moka keeps to herself and thinks 'I wish so much to tell them that we kissed that night...'As the girls argued a sudden drowsiness came over Keitaro and gets taken away without anyone noticing.
The fight raged on until Gin finally got sick of it and shouted "You all are so full of yourselves that you failed to realize that your so called sweetheart..." He pointed to Keitaro's chair "...Is missing."At this they all looked ashamed and Yukari shouts "It must have been Mizore! Shes the only one sneaky enough to do it without anyone realizing it!" Everyone in the room glares at her and Kurumu says "Yea that's right. I bet she did do it!" Mizore yells at them and says "I've been sitting here arguing with you. How could I have done it while doing so!" Moka then says "She has a point. We would have noticed her cold presence leave the room." Kurumu then says "Then who did it?" Gin then looks at them and says "You would save a lot of time if you just look on his seat instead of accusing each other." He shakes his head at them as he hands them a small bat shaped letter. Moka takes it and reads it aloud "Dearest sister I've taken Tsukune and plan on forcing him to take your rosary off. We will soon be together big sister with your silver hair. Thats if this little shit does what i want him to do. I can't promise he'll be alive if he doesn't cooperate -Kokoa." Kurumu snatches the letter from Moka and quickly reads it over. She then says "Your goddamn sister I should have known!" She sighs and Mizore says "where do you think she took him?" Yukari turns to Gin and says and asks "Werewolfs have an excellent sense of smell right?" He looks at her and says "Yea why?" Yukari smiles and says "No reason I was just curi... Hey look a womans skirt got flipped up!" He turns around to look and keeps saying "Where!" Yukari takes out a collar and leash and gets Kurumu and Moka's attention. Kurumu looks at the leash and grins. Moka and her slowly walk up behind Gin and hold his arms behind his back. Gin screams "What the hell are you doing?!" Yukari says to him "Don't struggle." She then gets the collar ready.
Yukari shouts at Gin "Hurry up and find him!" She pulls at the leash around his neck. He whimpers a bit as he sniffs the air. Mizore then says "Please remember to give that shirt back. I worked hard to get it from Tsukune's closet without him noticing." Kurumu tosses the shirt to her. "Yea yea take the stupid shirt back already. You can have that while i get the real person." Moka unable to take it anymore yells "Stop messing around or by the time we find him he'll be dead!" As if on cue Gin says "I found his scent hes on the roof." He tries to run in that direction but the leash catches his neck. He thinks 'This damn leash!' Yukari drops the leash as they take off running.
Keitaro found himself unable to fight back. With each crushing blow he felt his strength start to waiver. Kokoa then shouts at him "Take her rosary off! I know you're the only one who can." He looks up at her and says "I-I don't know what your talking about." She kicks him in the chest causing him to spit up blood and says "Don't play coy with me!" He looked down at his blood stained clothes thinking 'Damn ive never felt this much pain before. This isnt even my life and I'm the one who's gotta pay for it.' He slowly got up and looked at his attacker. She then screams at him "God how are you even able to stand anymore!" Her anger then got the better of her. She went over to him and started punching him first in the head then in the stomach. He finally collapsed onto the ground thinking 'Looks like I wont make it back Naru...' As his vision started to fade he began to have a flashback of the night he finally kissed Naru. Kokoa stood over his body and said "Tch useless human." As soon as Moka got to the steps to the roof she smelled blood. She instantly tensed up and said "Hes bleeding." Kurumu then looks at her with tears in her eyes and says "I won't let him die!" Kurum then spread her wings and extended her nails. She took off ascending upward at an incredible pace cutting the roof off of the stairs upon reaching. She quickly scans the roof with her eyes falling upon Kokoa sitting boredly next to Tsukune's body. Kokoa looks up at her and says "Oh look the calverley has arrived." Kurumu then flew at her angrily. "Ill kill you, you vampiric bitch!" As they clash the others reach the top of the stairs. Moka and Yukari take off toward Tsukune's body while Mizore joins in the fight. When they reach his body Moka says "Tsukune! Please dont die!" Keitaro then slowly opened his eyes to Moka and Yukari standing over him. When he looks up he sees Kokoa easily fending off both Kurumu and Mizore. Moka then looks down at him and says "Tsukune your ok!" She hugs him and Yukari says "We need to get him out of here." They start to make their way over to the stairs as the battle raged on. The next thing they know Kurumu is sent flying into their path. Kokoa shouts at them "I'm not done with him! Dont even think of leaving!" Moka then shouts back "He's almost dead Kokoa stop this or her will die!" Kokoa kicks Mizore out of her way and says "I don't care as long as he does what I want him to do!" She grabs him from their grasp and starts to choke him. "Last chance or Ill end you here and now." Keitaro tried with all his might to lift his arm but himself unable to do so. Kokoa finally got sick of it and started to punch him in the stomach repeatedly screaming "Stupid! Useless! Human! You can't even do a simple task." Keitaro then found his last grips of life slip from him giving up any form of resistance. Suddenly a demonic aura flashed from Moka. Kokoa looked over at her dropping the limp body in the process. "So sister has affection for this human. I dont need to take off her rosary I just need to beat him within an inch of his life." She then goes to hug Moka only to find her sisters hand around her throat when she tries. "Don't ever touch him again." She says with a cold voice. Kokoa then says back chokingly "I-I just wanted to see you sister." Moka looks at Tsukune's body and says "That doesn't mean you beat him." She kicks Kokoa off the roof and she thinks 'Why does she care for that human more than her own sister?'
Keitaro woke in the nurses office hooked up to a heart monitor. He looked down at his chest to find himself wrapped in bandages. He thinks to himself 'Just when I thought i was getting used to life here this happens... I just gave up...I wish Naru were here.' He then heard a commotion from outside and thought to himself 'Jeez this guys life is just as eventful as mine.' Soon the room is filled by the newspaper clubs members scratch their leader. Kurum then says "Hey you doing ok?" He nods and "Sorry for causing so much trouble..." Moka spoke up and said to him "Its no trouble we were just glad to see that you were doing ok. You took quite the beating but you should be able to come on the trip to Hinata." She smiles and Yukari jumps in "Yea the nurse said you'd be able to walk within a few days." The nurse then walks in and says "Alright Tsukune needs to get some bed rest. Everyone out." As everyone started to walk out Keitaro grabs Mokas and and says "Thank you." She nods and says "I'm just glad to see your ok." She then walks out with a smile on her face. As Keitaro sat up in his bed he heard a voice say "Sorry for the trauma Mr. Urashima." He looks around the room to find the speaker "Who's there?" Finally the window opens and Ruby climbs in and sits on the windowsill. "How do you know who I really am?" Ruby asks "Are you gonna be ok after all of that?" He says back "Yes... but that doesn't answer my question!" She then picks up her wand and points it at him. "Because I'm the one who caused this but don't worry I'm just here to check up on you. Besides you won't be able to remember this conversation in the morning."
