A/N: Alright guys, well this is the last chapter, and I want to apologize, this chapter was just about ready to post, but the internet was shut off for like a month and a half, so I couldn't post it. I'm so sorry. But I hope you like the chapter.

I don't own Glee or the characters, so enjoy.

Santana had spent her entire weekend thinking about her encounters with Rachel, and the news that Quinn had reported to her on Friday. And for a good five hours, Santana had become both frustrated and angry at the same time, and she just couldn't figure out why. How could one irritating midget cause so much internal craze? Santana felt like she was playing ping pong with herself over a stupid, simple, accidental kiss.

"Why does she keep plaguing my mind" Santana thought as she sat in the driver's seat of her green 2007 Mustang Convertible. She was currently gazing at the school from the student parking lot, and had been doing so since she had arrived this morning. Normally she would waltz out her car and saunter her way straight into the building knowing she basically owned the ground she walked on, but now, she seemed, dare she say, scared.

She suddenly heard a swift knock on her window causing her to jump in her seat. When she looked over, she saw that it was Quinn, and she was wearing a smug grin on her face. Santana grimaced at the blonde's face and purposely opened the door, successfully managing to peg her in the thighs. Quinn yelped in surprise which instantly switched to anger after seeing Santana mirror her once smug facial expression.

"That was unnecessary, so what are you gonna do" Quinn said completely changing the subject. This made Santana furrow her eyebrows.

"Actually, I don't know" Santana said honestly. Quinn stared at her in light surprise but said nothing.

"I've never dealt with something like this before, I didn't even know I liked Rachel until last week, so I'm a little lost" Santana confessed, making Quinn give her a sympathetic look. She also had this problem, but she had never physically spoken about it.

"Well if you're really so lost about it, why not talk to her, Rachel is very understanding" Quinn suggested. This made Santana scoff,

"That won't be possible, if you told me was true, then Hailey will be all over her if I even try" Santana said suddenly bitter, as she spit acid with Hailey's name.

"Well, why not do the thing you do best" Quinn asked as leaned back against the random car behind her. The slightly stressed Latina looked her best friend for a moment as if trying to comprehend what she was saying. But after a good minute, a cat like smile appeared on her face.

During Santana and Quinn's talk, Rachel and Kurt had been talking by Kurt's locker.

"Do you really think Santana will talk to me, I mean if she gets spooked by a simple accidental kiss and won't show up to school the next day, what makes you think she'll come back and come find me" Rachel asked as she set her head on Kurt's shoulder.

"To be honest, I don't know, but I have hope for you, and that's all I can give for now" Kurt said patting Rachel on the head before falling into a moment of silence. Suddenly Hailey came walking by clad in her cheerio uniform, and stopped in front of them offering a smile.

"Hailey, to what do I owe the pleasure" Kurt asked as Rachel looked up seeing the latter wave.

"Not much, I was just wondering if you had seen Santana yet is all" Hailey said before yawning a bit.

"Tired I see, then again its Monday everyone's least favorite day" Kurt said.

"Actually, Coach loves Monday; she says she likes to see the misery seep out the trolls who trudge on the school grounds" Hailey said matter of factly.

"That explains why she smiles" Rachel said with a slight frown. The trio fell into silence, before it was rudely broken by the sound of the bell.

"Oh, well it's time for class; I guess it's time to go" Hailey said before turning to head out, but just before she could take another step Kurt called to her,

"Hailey, would you be a lamb and walk Rachel to class, I think you go the same way and I'd do it myself, but I go the opposite way" Kurt said as he and Rachel got up.

"Okay, that's fine by me" Hailey said as she waited for the tiny brunette to come off the stage. Rachel had not voiced it, but she wondered why Kurt had asked Hailey to walk her to class. What did he have in mind?

Santana and Quinn had just down the hallway where the auditorium was located when they saw Rachel and Hailey walking out together. Quinn narrowed her eyes in slight disbelief, but Santana's seemed to boil the moment she laid eyes on the two. Sensing that the bull was about to charge, Quinn got a decent grip on the enraged girl's arm.

"I doubt you want to get suspended on a Monday, cool it and you can talk her when they separate" Quinn said watching Santana's eyes intently, hoping to see her calm down a little bit. And she did, much to Quinn's gratitude.

"Fine, just keep her away from Rachel" Santana said before departing Quinn's presence in a rude and swift manner.

As Rachel went through her day, she noticed that Hailey had not been around, yet Quinn had been, not that Rachel minded, Quinn wasn't that rude to Rachel when they were alone, so there was never any animosity between the two whenever Quinn passed her by today. But she also noticed that Santana was here today, but the strangest thing kept happening, whenever she would pass her by Santana would give a look; it appeared to be a mixture of nervousness and hope. But whatever for?

"Maybe she's confused about the kiss, and is afraid I might do something to her" Rachel mused as she passed a small group of baby cheerios, who paid her no mind. But Rachel soon giggled to herself. She wasn't a violent person in the slightest, so what did Santana have to fear? Rachel couldn't call someone a mean name. The last time she tried, she had ended up calling her old elementary school bully a cow head, which really had no real effect on the bully. So she just gave up.

"Yo Berry" a familiar voice called from not too far behind her. Rachel turned around and saw Quinn walking her way with a look of gentle determination.

"Quinn, to what do I owe this unexpected encounter" Rachel asked in a calm voice filled with curiosity and slight suspicion.

"Relax Berry, I'm not here for personal gain, this is for a friend, so walk with me hobbit" Quinn said before turning sharply on her heels and sauntering forward. Hesitant, Rachel stayed in her place and stared after the blonde. Amazingly enough without stopping or turning around Quinn yelled,

"Berry you got five seconds to catch up" Rachel, with a new found sense of urgency, started power walking towards the figure ahead of her.

When lunch rolled around Santana was the last to arrive, which was strange, seeing as she made sure to always, be first in line. But today was different, and the only real explanation that made sense to anyone if they noticed, it was because she was being a giant gutless wimp. But when she finally chose to enter the cafeteria she saw that everything was still normal, well except for the fact that Rachel was walking outside. And just as she was about to disappear fully she suddenly stopped. Santana froze in place, what made her stop? Suddenly she gave a low growl; Hailey had caught the brunette's attention.

Santana watched as Hailey, with a stupid smile on her face, walk up to Rachel and she had the nerve to get Rachel's face and, what she doing? Oh she was whispering something in her ear. And by the time she finished, she pointed in Santana's direction which sent an immediate red flag, and saw how Rachel looked in her general direction. Then just as quickly as she came, Hailey left with a wave. A sudden jolt went through Santana's figure, and it was because she had locked eyes with Rachel, who blinked rapidly before making a hasty retreat outside.

"Crap" Santana muttered before making the subconscious decision to follow the girl. But instead of running, she just made a casual walk, as if not to draw any suspicion or attention from anyone. And when she safely made it outside, she began looking for the diva. Oddly enough no one was outside today. Probably too hot or something, but that was perfect in Santana's book, that meant no interruptions.

"Berry, I know you're out here, quit hiding" Santana called out, but she suddenly jumped when she heard,

"There's no need to yell Santana I'm right here" she spun around and saw that Rachel was sitting on the stairs at the very top.

"Hoe the heck did you get up there so fast?" Santana asked incredously.

"It's amazing what years of working with an elliptical can do for you, but what I want to know is, why are you out here" Rachel asked loud enough for Santana to hear from below.

"I saw you leave, and . . . . and we gotta talk about what happened last Friday" Santana yelled back up. Seeing as Santana couldn't see Rachel's face, she faced to see the blush and faint smile adorned on her face. She didn't think that Santana would initiate the sensitive topic.

"Well now or never" Santana said before taking the first step up the concrete staircase. By the time she reached the top Rachel was waiting patiently for her.

"Hi" Rachel said to prevent any oncoming awkward silence between them.

"Hey" Santana said before sitting a good foot away from Rachel.

"So" they said in unison before letting out an uncomfortable laugh.

"Sorry, you first" Santana said rubbing her right hand behind her neck averting her eyes,

"Oh, well thank you, Santana, I just want to start out by saying that I didn't mean to kiss you" Rachel said which made Santana's make a sudden drop. That kinda hurt.

"Please don't get the wrong impression, I do want to kiss you" now Santana raised an eyebrow, making Rachel jump a little and sending her into rambling fit.

"Oh dear, it's just I-I er um" Rachel sputtered before Santana had finally had enough and pressed her lips to the babbling diva's.

"Just... stop, my turn" Santana said once they parted for air. Rachel, clearly dazed, just nodded.

"Okay, so the kiss was accidental I know that, but it's whatever, I, for some reason liked it, but what bothers me is the sudden attraction I felt for you when spirit week started. The week before, I didn't even spare you a glance, so what did you do different" Santana asked.

"I just opened up a bit more is all, I love spirit week" Rachel said with a smile. She knew that Kurt and Hailey played their parts, but that was a detail for another day.

"So" Santana said.

"So" Rachel urged, scooting a little closer to Santana.

"So, I dunno, do you wanna hang out sometime or something?" Santana asked in a slightly nervous tone.

"I'd love to" Rachel said.

"Great, so Friday okay with you, I know there's a new movie playing that we could go see" Santana offered.

"That sounds lovely" Rachel said.

"Awesome" then the two fell into a moment of silence, and then the bell rang.

"Well we better get to class" Rachel said as she stood up.

"Yeah, see ya in glee" Santana said

"Bye" Rachel said as she watched the other girl walk away, but she noticed a small pep in er step.

After school Mr. Shue had finally announced the big winner for the spirit week competition.

"Congratulations to Brittany, and your prize is a dance solo for our next school show" Mr. Shue said and Brittany squealed in delight as everyone clapped. As for everyone else, they received gift cards for bread sticks. And Santana looked like the happiest person alive. Then as class moved along Rachel told Kurt the good news about her and Santana. And the only response she got was a raised hand, which she gladly high fived.

"Told you it would work" Kurt grinned.

"Yes you did, you were right" Rachel admitted.

"I knew you would, now, I have the perfect idea for your outfit for Friday" Kurt said and Rachel shook her head with a smile,

"Okay let's hear it"

A/N: Finally it's done! I hope you enjoyed it.
