Cassidy was talking to James and Sirius, in James' bedroom. Admittedly, she was uncomfortable, but they deserved to know what was going on.
"So," James said. "You're going to have to go into hiding."
"Looks that way," she answered grimly.
"What about us? You're just going to leave us here?" Said an astounded Sirius.
"Trust me, you'll be safer without me."
"So Professor Dumbledore believes that you'll be a lot more safer isolated in some protected place?" Stated James.
"This house is only protected by enchantments, not by a specific charm. I bet that Voldemort will be able to break through them." Cassidy stated.
Sirius gasped. "Cassidy, you're not supposed to say his name."
"Professor Dumbledore encourages it, and so should you."
"Why?"
"Because if you wish to join the Order, then you will be encouraged."
"Shouldn't you be scared if he's hunting you?" Asked James. "I mean, he is the most dangerous wizard, like, ever."
"What about Grindelwald?" Cassidy replied.
"Who?" Asked Sirius, confused.
"He was a dark wizard who terrorized most of Europe before Dumbledore defeated him in 1945."
"How do you know all this?" Asked James, raising an eyebrow.
Cassidy shrugged and said, "Ravenclaw."
"Obviously," said Sirius, rolling his eyes.
There was a long pause.
"So you're going to go into hiding and not fight?" Said Sirius finally.
"Yes. It's cowardly, I know. But I guess the worse thing that can happen is me going to their side. We have to remain cautious, of course."
"I don't think it's cowardly," said James quietly.
Sirius nodded with agreement.
Cassidy smiled warmly. "Thanks for understanding."
"No problem," said Sirius.
"That's what brothers are for, you know."
Cassidy left to go into her room.

Cassidy turned her lamp on and with a few flickers it became a blinding clear light which illuminated a piece of parchment with a quill and an ink pot. She dipped the tip of her quill into the ink and begun scratching away.
To Professor Dumbledore,
I've made my decision and it's the obvious of the two. You prefer the answer, anyway.
But I only require one thing, a simple talk to talk meeting shall do.
Cassidy.
It was simple enough, the required thing was just to stay in contact, not to be cut off. She didn't like the sound of being isolated. Maybe she could help with a few enchantments, she was rather strong in the defensive point. She just hoped she had more than just one person checking up on her now and then. Maybe she could live with someone, but she often preferred being independent. But then again, she'll probably only ever leave the place whenever there's a meeting or an operation to be done. Either way, she would have to find a way to spend time until the war ends. That is, if it ever does.
