Chapter 7: A Light and Dark Gathering

It was cold night at Chorh-Gom Prison as the guards did their nightly rounds. A figure stood atop the mountain on which it resided. The figure was in a black robe that concealed his face with a hood. The only visible feature was that he had white shades that had green glass in it. He had a long tail which determined his species of being a wolf. He soon jumped down from the mountain's cliff, descending to the prison's wall. When he was sure he was close enough, he impaled his claws on the rocky mountain wall which slowed his descent enough for him to land near the prison. He dusted himself off and hid behind a rock. As soon as the coast was clear, he ran over to the entrance of the prison. He used a kunai to carve a Chinese symbol onto the door. When he finished, the Chinese symbol glowed, and the doors suddenly opened. He gave off a small smirk and walked inside.

He soon saw a guard pass by, so he hid quickly in the shadows. He grinned and reached into his pocket to pull out a red stone. The stone glowed for a few minutes. After that, he walked out of the shadows. His appearance changed into the appearance of one of the guards. He soon walked over to a couple of guards.

"Hey, do you know where they keep the toughest of the tough villains?" he asked.

"Why? Who's asking?" one of the guards asked.

"I just transferred here. I want to make sure to steer clear of it."

"Then if you stay right here or hide in the broom closet, you're safe," the other guard joked. The disguised wolf grew annoyed too quickly. He threw the stone on the ground which broke on impact. When the stone broke, it shedded his disguise, startling the guards. He quickly threw a kunai into the head of the guard who made that joke and flipped the other one onto the ground. He quickly pulled out a Chinese short blade and put it at the guards throat.

"Unless you want to end up like your friend over there, I suggest you tell me where the villains are." He pushed the blade down on the guard's throat.

"The basement! We keep the baddest guys in the basement!" the guard choked out with unimaginable fear in his voice.

"Thank you. Now was that so hard?"

"Will you let me live?"

"No." That was all the wolf said after slitting the neck of the guard. He soon sheathe the Chinese short blade and pulled the kunai out of the guard's head. "Now...What to do with the bodies?" He soon pulled the dead bodies outside and kicked them off the mountain, letting out a small chuckle. He walked back inside and walked over to a dark hallway. He pulled out his kunai and carved another Chinese symbol onto the wall. It glowed for a minute, and huge hole in the wall, door size appeared. Within the hole was a spiral staircase leading to the bottom of the prison. He smiled and jumped down the stair case, nimbly moving quick as a drop of rain in a downpour.

In the basement of Chor Gom...

There were guards stationed at every corner of the basement, each holding a crossbow. There were five cages that were propelled in the air. Each cage held a individual villain. The one that was the lowest to the ground held an owl with a blue sleeveless shirt. Her feathers were grey and her talons were made out of steel. The highest cage held a loris primate with big eyes and blue pants. The three final cages that were dangled apart held one snow leopard each. The snow leopards were in black ninja like attire. A doorway appeared and four shurikens flew out of it, hitting each guard in the center of their heads killing them instantly. The wolf jumped out of the doorway which closed behind him. The locked up criminals looked down at the cloaked wolf with a mixture of confusion and delight.

"Incarcerated criminals, I have a proposition for you. Aid me in the coming of darkness and you will be rewarded with your heart's desire." The wolf offered.

"First off, who are you and why should we trust you?" The loris asked.

"Because, Tong Fu, if you pent up jailbirds weren't valuable, I wouldn't have come all this way." The wolf countered "Plus if I didn't need you I would've left you hear to rot."

"He's bluffing," The owl stated, "These bars are made out of a strong metal, stronger than my Iron Talons."

"Oh, I'm quite serious, Fenguang." The wolf threw five shurikens at each of chains holding the cages, which broke simultaneously. The cages dropped to the ground, rattling the prisoners encased within. A guard's voice was heard from a intercom system which was just a horn pointed out.

"Commander, we haven't heard your status report. What's going on down there?" The voice asked. The wolf jumped over to the intercom and spoke into it.

"Everything's fine down here, just taking a break." He replied.

"But, your break is at sunrise when the shifts switch." The guard stated.

"Well, it's not like the villains are going anywhere. Might as well just watch them dangle from their cages." The wolf retorted.

"Fair enough." The guard on the intercom didn't say anything afterwards. The wolf went back to the locked-up prisoners. He then pulled out a black katana from his cloak.

"You're going to try and break us out with that? The blade will break on impact." Tong Fu stated. The wolf grinned and slashed at the bars with the katana, breaking them instantly. The criminals stood up out of the wreckage of their cages. The leopards who were kept in separate cages walked over to each other.

"Now, will you criminals aid me?" The wolf asked. The villains then shared looks and got into fighting stances. "I was hoping that would be your answer." They all charged at the wolf, using their own style of attacks. The wolf held up his hand, causing them to be frozen in place for a short second until being thrown into the prison walls. The wolf held his katana's blade at the female leopard's throat. The other two leopards growled and tried tackling the wolf only to be pushed back.

"Wing Wu, Wan Wu!" The leopard who had the katana pointed at her throat shouted. The wolf grinned chuckling.

"I didn't think you cared about your sisters, Wu Su." The wolf stated moving closer with the katana at her.

"You sicko," Wu Su muttered.

"Now if there aren't any other objections, come with me." The wolf started to walk over to the door way he created, until he was stopped by Tong Fu.

"Wait, before we go along with you. Tell us your name and show us your face." Tong Fu requested. The wolf smirked and pulled off his hood showing the his face.

"Just call me Rob," The wolf stated as he continued to walk to the doorway. He carved another symbol on the side of the doorway, causing it to glow a purple aura. The inside of the doorway transformed from a stairway into a hallway. He walked into the hallway, being followed by the freed villains.

Within the alley of Gongmen City...

Kevin was freaking out about his new changed form, but Rolf started to admire his new muscles. They were sent to a weird world, turned into animals, and lost in a new place.

"Rolf, we need to find out how we got here and fast." Kevin stated.

"Isn't it clear Red-hat Kevin boy? That magic scroll sent us here to save our neighborhood friends." Rolf pointed out.

"Huh?" Kevin let out confused.

"The scroll said: Their journey has begun. But what about you? You may become heroes. Both Nobel and true. You will go to a place, In need of pity, You will go far away. To Gongmen City. Here's another bit of knowledge, Because I am so kind. In a valley that is peaceful, Your friends you will find. It means the others are here as well." Rolf explained.

"Crap, that scroll must have sent Nazz and the others here, but where are we going to find a valley that is peaceful?" Kevin asked. Suddenly they heard a loud noise and ran to it. The loud noise belonged to someone dropping a crate on a big boat.

"So where is this shipment going?" one of the workers asked.

"The Valley Of Peace, it's a small village." Another worker answered. Rolf and Kevin looked at each other and grinned. The two snuck aboard the boat without being seen. They hid in the storage room, after the boat set sailed. After a few hours, they fell asleep on a bag of seeds. They cringed in their sleep from a symbol being burned into each of their bodies. The Chinese symbol of ice was burned onto Kevin's chest, which felt like a cooling sensation. The Chinese symbol of water was being burn onto Rolf's right arm.

In the barracks of the Jade Palace...

Eddy was tossing and turning in his bed in pain. He felt a burning sensation on his back. A Chinese symbol of fire was being etched into Eddy's back. Double D moaned as he started to feel a headache at the center of his forehead. The Chinese symbol of Wind was being burned onto Double D's forehead. Ed giggled as he felt a tingling sensation on his belly. The Chinese symbol of earth was burned onto his belly.

In the Dark Ruins...

The Dark Ruins were remains of what appeared to be a castle. A single door appeared in the center of the ruins. The door opened to reveal Rob, followed by the Wu Sisters, Tong Fu and Fenguang. Su Wu looked around at the scenery and glared at Rob.

"What's with the ruins, Rob? Couldn't afford a palace with all you powers?" Su replied getting a chuckle from Rob.

"You won't be saying that when I do this." Rob snaps his fingers and a swarm of spiders surrounded them. Wing and Wan got scared and jumped onto their sister in fear, who was equally scared. Rob laughed at their reaction to the crawling insects. The spiders started to create walls of silk. When the spiders were finished the walls were pure white matching the ceiling.

"You can manipulate insects to do your bidding?" Fenguang asked.

"Spiders aren't insects, they're more than just that. They can adapt to their surroundings, such as water, air and can even kill a creature with just one bite." Rob explained.

"I don't care if they can resist fire, these things are gross!" Wan Wu shouted in fear, holding Su Wu tighter.

"Hey, if you don't like it, you're welcome to go back to your cages." Rob sat on a fallen support beam.

"So how can we aid you in the coming of Darkness?" Tong Fu asked.

"Simple," Rob explained handing Fenguang and Tong Fu a map of Gongmen City "You see, the marked spots on the map are where some nasty demons come out. I need you to gather as many as you can, with this." He hands them a locked box with carvings in it. "As for you three, I need you to go spy on these fools." He held up a drawing of a tiger with three hair spikes, a crane with red feathers and a black hat, and a panda with a mono brow and green kimono.

"How come we get stuck with the lame job?!" Wing Wu shouted.

"It's fine, Wing. This job seems neutral, you never know what you're going to get." Su Wu whispered.

"Now get out of my sight you pigs!" Rob commanded, they did so after bowing. "Don't worry Madam Barra, you'll soon be unleashed with the power of darkness at your side."

"Yes," The spiders soon gathered around Rob. "Being broken up into miniscule pieces is hard. If Master Alistar didn't-"

"He's long gone, but the spell he put on you isn't." Rob stated. "It can be broken, as long as we have the blood of Alistar's descendants."

"How are we going to get Tigress' blood? Her skin is as hard as rock, any needle will be broken on contact." Madam Barra stated.

"There is a weaker descendent of Alistar," He looked at the picture he showed the Wu sisters. He tore the parts with the crane and panda off, leaving just the tiger. "Soon, you'll be brought back together, and darkness will rise!" They laughed maniacally into the night.
