Side:Tsuna 03
Tsuna was torn between feeling pleased and apologetic. When he walked through the corridors alone, finally having time for himself – apparently, the Tsuna of this world didn't attend classes, actually consuming his time for his way of disciplining – both students and the members of the faculty paled and ran or pretended they didn't see him once they caught sight of him. Tsuna could easily notice them quivering in terror.
So I have this kind of impact in this world, thought Tsuna. Admittedly, he was kind of freaked out. For a huge change, he was finally the deadly carnivore and what freaked him out more was that he kind of enjoyed it. Bad Tsuna, Tsuna slapped both his cheeks, I should be looking for a way to get back.
He continued to roam around, still wearing the black jacket with the Disciplinary Committee's armband. He should at least pretend to be this world's Tsuna to avoid questions. But he was stuck. How does Tsuna number two act?
Loud noises made him stop in his tracks. His feet had led him to the second year classrooms. Peeking at the noisy room, he could see a flustered teacher and students who didn't even bother to behave. With no hesitation, Tsuna slammed the door open. Hie! I opened the room without thinking. He panicked. What should I do?
"Who the hell opened the door that loud?"
"Shut the fuck up, you idiot! It's the prefect!"
"Shit, guys. Sawada's here."
"Do you have any problem with me?" asked Tsuna icily. Wait, what?
The classroom was engulfed in silence. The students fidgeted; girls and boys suddenly found their desks interesting. "I will not tolerate discipline-breakers. Do you understand?" His question was responded with meek nods. Tsuna glanced at the teacher, who had begun to pale from fright, but he too nodded. Taking that as a sign of somewhat gratitude, he gave the area one last look, turned around and closed the door. What was I thinking? Tsuna thought, heart pounding, I didn't even stutter. I was... cool. Tsuna grinned widely. So this is what it feels like to be Hibari-san.
"Enjoying yourself?"
Tsuna jumped at the familiar voice. "B-B-Byakuran?"
Byakuran grinned. "In the flesh, Tsunayoshi-kun."
"You're normal?" asked Tsuna, disbelief evident in his voice.
"You guys are actually the same, aren't you?" Byakuran laughed. Noticing Tsuna's confused look, he added, "You and your parallel self. He also asked that very question."
"Oh." Tsuna said, "But you can bring me back, right, Byakuran?"
To his annoyance, Byakuran tilted his head and smiled cheekily. "Do you really want to come back, Tsunayoshi-kun?"
Tsuna was bewildered at his words. "Of course I do! Why wouldn't I?"
"The way you acted earlier kind of contradicts it."
"I didn't like being Hibari-san!" Tsuna protested. "Okay, maybe a little, but I still want to go back home!"
Byakuran started walking. "As long as your heart longs for this world then you wouldn't be able to go back."
"What do you mean?"
Ignored, Tsuna pursued him, who by then was going up the staircase. Thinking he failed to hear, Tsuna repeated his question. No reaction. Is he messing with me? Tsuna started running, hoping to catch up to him.
All of a sudden, Byakuran halted at the top of the stairs. Tsuna almost tripped in attempting to stop himself from crashing. He was about to protest when the earsplitting noise of the bell resounded throughout the school. Students immediately flooded the hallway, many of which had bumped the two from their hurry to get away from classes and rambling apologies to Tsuna.
"Look." Byakuran lifted a finger. Narrowing his eyes in concentration, Tsuna followed the direction he pointed at. There were so many students that Tsuna absolutely had no clue on what or whom he was pointing at. Was it the pretty girl who was talking with another girl? The guy who just passed them? The scary looking student? As the crowd thinned out, he finally knew what the guy was pointing at: Hibari Kyouya.
Kyouya looked oblivious to their presence. He was pushing through the crowds, muttering something – which Tsuna assumed were apologies – to whomever he bumped into. Tsuna was about to dive into the crowd when an idea popped into his mind. He inhaled deeply, and said, "All of you," his voice wasn't loud, it was at a normal level, or at the very least on Hibari-level, "do you want to be disciplined?"
In an instant, all of the students quieted down and picked up their paces. Those who passed him made sure to create a wide gap between them and Tsuna. Brown eyes began hunting for Kyouya. Tsuna started walking and the students still kept there fast pace, which definitely made him amused. It was like a circle of space followed him whenever he took a single step. He was practically a god.
Finally standing beside Kyouya, he immediately grabbed his arm. "Kyouya, are you all right?"
Kyouya evidently looked surprised at seeing him. "I'm fine, Tsunayoshi. What are you doing here?"
"We just happened to pass by," Byakuran spoke up from behind them.
"B-Byakuran? What are you doing here?" asked Kyouya.
"Eh? You know him?" Tsuna looked alternately at the two.
Kyouya's eyes were filled with confusion. "Of course I do. He's Byakuran, the boss of the Millefiore Famiglia we fought in the future." He gazed at him with worry. "You're still acting weird."
Tsuna slightly backed away. This world must be similar to his world; the only difference was most likely the people's personalities, and right now he wasn't really doing an excellent job of pretending to be Parallel Tsuna, was he? At the present, escape was probably the best choice now. He could question Byakuran later.
"Don't you have your next class to attend to, h-herbivore?" Stuttered. Great. Way to go, Tsuna. Whoop de doo! Tsuna thought sarcastically. Does he even call his lover herbivore? Who would call their lover that? Genius, that's what I am.
Kyouya smiled. "Ah, I do. See you later then, Tsunayoshi. You should go and rest."
"Right." He didn't notice? Thank goodness, Tsuna released a relieved sigh, Time to get some answers. He turned around, only to be met with an empty corridor. "Byakuran? Where are you?" Silence reigned. "Hello?" Argh. That guy! He'll probably show up again later.
-x-
Kyouya watched Tsuna from behind the wall at the corner of the corridor. Sighing, he turned around. "He's not him, isn't he?"
"Was it that obvious?"
"Unfortunately, yes." Kyouya returned his attention to Tsuna, who was shouting for Byakuran. "Aren't you going to give him answers?"
"Aren't you?" Byakuran smiled.
"I'll talk to Hayato and Takeshi first. They're already wary of him, too, anyway."
"I'll play with Tsunayoshi-kun first then."
Swiftly, Kyouya grabbed Byakuran's wrist and shoved it above his head, lips curled to a frown. "If you hurt him in anyway, I'll make sure you'll regret it."
Byakuran rolled his eyes. "You pair of lovers are too possessive." He snatched his arm back and walked away, waving and whistling as his figure turned smaller and smaller.
Kyouya looked back to Tsuna.
Herbivore?
