Guys! I'm so, so, sorry about the Update that took forever! But I kinda lost my ideas for continuing for a while and life getting busy and such… But now I'm here! So enjoy and review please!

"HAWK!" the fairies and sparrow men of Pixie Hollow screamed as they tried to take cover.

Aurora turned around and her eyes grew wide when she saw the brown hawk made a notch. She quickly flew out of the way, hiding up on a tree behind the leaves.

Then a shrill scream from Rosetta the garden fairy could be heard, indicating that she was being chased by the hawk. Although she loved to stay at her hiding place, Aurora took off to the source of the voice.

She found Rosetta being cornered by the hawk on a tree branch. The Princess quickly went up with a rock in her hand. She threw the rock at the hawk's head, making it look up and forgetting the garden fairy.

"Hey you! Come and get me!" Aurora blew raspberry at the hawk and other mocking acts which made the hawk mad and turned to chase her.

Aurora quickly took off, the hawk on her tail. She was at lead until she crashed and landed on a three branch on her back. The hawk stood tall and made the young princess gulped.

"Fairies! Quick and help the princess!"

The fairies and sparrow men quickly throwing berries and acorns at the hawk, but before it took off it scratched Aurora's left upper arm with it's claw.

Some healing talent fairies rushed to the princess and brought her to the infirmary, much to her protest.

A fairy informed the news to the Lord of Winter and the Queen of Pixie Hollow, who hurried went to the infirmary to their injured daughter.

"Aurora!" Clarion rushed to her daughter's side, cringed at the scratched wound on her upper arm. "Are you alright?! Oh Aurora you shouldn't have gone to rescue someone by yourself! Now you're hurt!" Clarion scolded in panic.

"Mom, mom, I'm alright…" Aurora tried to calm her mother down. "It just a scratch."

"Actually," the head of the healing fairy, Martha, said as she walked in. "It need to be stitch so it won't get infected, Princess." She held up a needle in her hand.

Aurora's eyes grew wide as she shook her head quickly as she saw the needle. "No, NO! I don't want to! It's alright!" she turned to her parents with pleading eyes. "No! It's alright!"

Milori's eyes narrowed as he looked at his daughter. "Aurora… Don't tell me a small needle scared you."

Aurora pouted at her mother with puppy dog eyes. "MOMMY!"

Clarion sighed, "It has to be done, Aurora…"

"But…"

"Just look at me and relax. Everything would be alright."

"You, my daughter, bravely faced a hawk alone and scared off a little needle?" Milori questioned,

Clarion shot her husband a warning glare. "Milori!" she shook her head disapprovingly. "You're not helping…" she said quietly through gritted teeth.

Milori realized that even his brave daughter has a weak spot and felt sorry that he didn't realize it sooner. He went to his little family and knelt in front of his daughter that was sitting on an examination table with her mother at her side. He took her hand and looked into her icy blue eyes. "Aurora, you can do it, sweetheart…"

"But it hurt!" Aurora whined,

"Then if you can hold it and let Martha sew your wound, I promise to take you go ice-skating."

"All day?" Aurora asked with her puppy dog eyes.

"All day." Milori agreed, "Without any disturbing duty."

The sweet dimpled smile formed on Aurora's lips as she nodded and shut her eyes closed. She cringed and grunted quietly as Martha stitched her wound and wrapped it with a sterile leaf, but she didn't protest or say anything. Both Clarion and Milori holding each of her hands, comforting her and reminding her that they were there.

"I'm done." Martha declared after what seemed like an eternity, well for Aurora anyway.

Clarion caressed her daughter's cheek softly. "It's done darling…" she whispered softly to Aurora's ear.

Aurora's eyes fluttered open; she met her mother's eyes and then her father's. "You owned me for ice-skating." It was all she said after a long pause.

Clarion and Milori couldn't help but chuckled at their daughter's childish behavior. Milori ruffled Aurora's hair as he stood up and helped Clarion down from the examination table due to her pregnant belly. He then lifted Aurora up and piggy-back her.

"Dad, it's my arm that being stitched, not my leg. You don't need to carry me." Aurora told him, rolling her eyes.

Milori chuckled, "But I want to. Now shush and let me carry you to your room."

"Dad!" Aurora began kicking her feet, trying to make her Father to let her down, but there was no use so she humped in annoyance.

Clarion chuckled as she watched the two most important persons in her life interact. She watched how Milori laughed at their daughter's behavior and kept teasing her, and how eventually Aurora's smile grew on her beautiful face.

At first Clarion was scared that Aurora won't accept Milori's sudden presence in her life since Aurora never knew any Sparrow man in her mother's life, let alone knowing that she has a father. But after witnessing how close they were and how Aurora welcomed Milori in her life, Clarion knew that the bond between them would never break, even when Aurora never saw him since they separated when she was merely a little baby.

When they reached their house, Milori went straight to Aurora's room with her still on his back, while Clarion went to their room to get ready to rest.

"Good night, Firefly." Milori whispered to his daughter and kissed her cheek after he tucked her in.

"Good night, Daddy…" Aurora mumbled; her eyes already closed as she drifted off to deep sleep…
