Lost and Found chap 7
Hatori drove to the bookstore. He was still a good driver even though he could barely see out of his left eye. They parked as close as they could since the parking lot was pretty empty. Hatori got out and opened Homura's door. She got out then he went and opened Yuri's door. They all walked into the bookstore.
"Homura, We going to go look for wedding magazines. Is that okay?" Yuri asked concerned about her future daughter.
Homura nodded and said "I'm going to go look at the manga and then in the young adult section."
Hatori smiled and said "Okay, we'll be there as soon as possible." Yuri smiled too. Homura looked up at their smiles and couldn't help but smile. They turned to go and find the wedding magazines as soon as possible so they could get back.
She cared about her parents even though she still didn't know how to tell her parents about the day they left. She stood there as Hatori held Yuri's hand as they walked to the magazines. 'They really are perfect for each other.' Homura seldom saw her parents acting romantic together but it was kind of nice to see.
Homura decided to go look at the mangas and books since her parents would be there looking for her. She looked up and down the shelves. She didn't really need any and she didn't know that many of the books that were out but she loved to look. She always enjoyed books even before she could read. Reading was one of the few things that you could do in the hospital so Tokiya, Hatori and Yuri would always come and read her books.
She saw a sign advertising a new manga called 'Pretty Cure Master Blasters!' an English version of Pretty Cure. Homura couldn't help but smile. PCMS was one of the most popular mangas when Homura was little. Of course her favorite volume was #19 which was the one about Yuri. Right now they were advertising volume #1 about Cure Black. She picked up a volume. 'I want this.' Homura didn't know if she had this one or not. 'I left all of the volumes when I left home.' Then she had a realization. 'Wait, did I?' She looked around. There were people looking at the mangas and the teen books a few aisles over. 'I'll look later.'
She saw Hatori and Yuri coming over with a pile of magazines and books. "Hi Homura." Yuri said. "Did you find something?"
"Yes."
"Give it to me." Yuri said.
"We'll go pay for it." Hatori said.
Homura followed her parents to the checkout line. 'Maybe I should forgive them for what they did.' Yuri and Hatori paid for the books and they all went out to the car.
