Chapter 7.

"So that's your plan? To wait till after this weekend and then rescue Wonderland?" Hatter said throwing his hands up in the air.

"Well I never said it was a great one"

"Alice I think it would be better if we leave now"

"Charlie I'm sorry, but we do have life's here now, we can't just jump on a dime and leave to risk our life's again"

Charlie grows mad at Alice's answer but it was true they couldn't just leave who knows how long they would be gone for this time, besides Hatter wasn't going to leave till after this weekend anyways, not for all the money in the world.

"Have you fallen in love my dear?" Charlie asked randomly.

Alice's cheeks go red and she blushes, Hatter noticed it and grew very happy inside, almost smiling at her.

"I don't think that's your business Charlie"

"It tis why you don't want to come back is it not?"

"She said she doesn't want to return right now, so respect the ladies choice and move on" Hatter said pushing his madness a little farther.

Alice places her hand on Hatter's shoulder and he loosens up, but does not release his right hand.

"Charlie I think it's time to go, okay? Just give us some time to talk about this please?"

"Ah yes, head back into those streets, staying cold at night, asking strange people for food, I think not! I will stay right here" He said stamping his foot on the ground.

"Will rent the next room over so you won't have to do that" Carol said entering the room.

"Why thank you milady" Charlie said bowing.

Alice rolls her eyes at the sight of her mother and Charlie flirting, Hatter just stood in the background laughing to himself.

"Would the lady like to go for dinner?' Charlie asked holding his hand out for her.

She accepts his hand and Hatter and Alice are left alone, Charlie winks at them and they guessed he wanted them to have a "fun" night alone.

"Well what shall we do now miss Alice?" Hatter asked her caressing her back.

She swings around to face him, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"I think you know" Alice said witty.

"I do?" He asked excited.

Alice makes the first move and crashes her lips into his, her tongue worming into his mouth causing a moan to slip thru, Hatter's hand went up her shirt to feel her skin, she shudders at his touch.

David unbuttons her pants and pulls them down a little, causing Alice to release him so she could push off her own pants, he stares at her in amazement.

She moans quietly and kisses him, long and hard, almost knocking him over, not much later he had Alice on her back exposed just for him, David kissed her neck, trailing down to her chest, he stops when he reaches her breasts he just stops and stares.

"Do you think it's a good idea to go back?" Alice asked.
"No, not until this weekend is over"

"What is so important?"
"It wouldn't be impor'ant if I told you"

Alice laughs.

"I think you mean it wouldn't be a secret"

"Whatever it is, we 're not leaving the area"

Alice falls quiet, trying to figure out what was so important about the northern lights but it left her mind as she drifted into a sleep.

"Alice!" David said waking her up from her sleep.

"What?" Alice asked with her head in the pillow.

"You fell asleep, I caun't turn on the silly box"

"What box?"

"That thing in your front room"

"The TV?" She asked still groggy from her nap.

"Yes"

"What is the time?"

"9"

Alice shoots up from the bed and stands up to quickly.

"Is my mom home?"

"She was for a moment but left with Charlie again."
"Where to now?" Alice asked again putting on a tee shirt and some yoga pants.

"Uh?..."

"You forgot?"

"Well not really, she didn't actually tell me anythin"

Just then Alice heard laughing coming from just out side the door, she walks out of her room and opens the door, Charlie and her mom were just standing there laughing.

"Alice dear, what are you doing?"

"I could ask you the same question"

"Oh Charlie and me were just talking stop worrying" Carol said. "I'll see you in the morning"

"Until then mil lady" Charlie bows and leaves.

Alice and David just stare at her.

"What is so wrong with having a conversation with a man?"

"He's not any man, he's..." Alice started.

"He's our professor, it's just a lit'al strange to Alice is all"

Hatter pulls Alice away from her mother and by the TV instead.

"What's wrong?" Hatter asked concerned.

"It's just now that she knows my dad is gone, she's going to be seeing other men and seeing her happy with Charlie made me upset, cause it's not my father"

"Will it help if we find our own place?"
"It could, then we could start our own life's together" Alice said happy.

"Maybe 'ave a family?"

"Hmm?" Alice asked looking at him confused.

"Yeah, ya know, little kids, a dog maybe a cat, I know how much you miss Diana"

"How do you know about her?"

"You talk in your sleep Alice"

Alice blushes and grabs the remote.

"I have been known too" She laughs slightly. "Here to turn on the TV, all you have to do is press the button on the top in the middle" She said showing him where the button was.

She also showed him where the guide button was and the volume.

"This thing does all that kind of stuff?"

"Yup"

"What about turning people off, does it work on them? Like to shut you mother off sometimes"

Alice laughs and takes the remote back from him.

"No Hatter it doesn't"
