The Discovery...Part 1

SakuraXkakashi

POV of Sakura

I begin to wipe away the tears that were once stinging upon my face. I still smell like shit and my blood sugar is on the floor because it's been so long since I've had something to eat. I don't even know anymore. I may as well just go fucking die in a whole since nobody loves, wants to love (other than Lee), or cares about me.

I walk to the kitchen and begin to prepare some food for myself. Food I will eat by myself because I'm forever alone. Tears trickle down my cheek as I, not really paying attention, make some lunch. I walk off and begin towards the freezer, going for ice cream for me to gauge myself in. I lean heavily against the counter slightly looking towards a knife lurking upon the counter as well. Options: kill myself, kill Naruto, kill Sasuke, or continue to eat ice cream.

I was snapped out of thought as soon as I smelled the food; I had recently been prepping, burning. I scowled at myself as I turned off the stove and staring at the chartered noodles. I recalled the knife and lunged for it. I held it in my hand, looking at the crazed expression I wore looking back at me. I raised the knife up and threw it at the wall, scowling once more and letting out a loud thud as it penetrated the wall.

What is going on, this is absolutely outrageous! I can barely accept what I have just recently witnessed between the great ninja, Sasuke, and the despicable, Naruto. I will never allow myself to forgive them for doing this to me. Especially Naruto! He's probably tricked or manipulated Sasuke into that vial act. I just don't understand. How could Sasuke turn out to betray my faithful heart to him and go to that nitwit? I guess I wouldn't mind as much if it hadn't been Naruto. And Kakashi sensei! He was there as well. Oh gosh, I wonder how he's taking this one. I hope he's not just perving out over that stupid book and not thinking about it. Maybe I should be doing something like that as well. Do something I like to get my mind off of this matter. Oh, I just don't know, maybe I'll go shower.

Kakashi and I had just finished up a private training session and we were heading over in town to get some lunch. I found it strange that Kakashi had invited me to lunch, but I found it rude if I didn't accept. He currently had his nose buried in the newest edition of 'Make Out Paradise' and was intensely reading it. It was only natural that my mind began to ponder about things, and things being Sasuke.

I think to myself, 'I should talk to him. Tell him how I feel for him,' and I feel a slightly blush spread over my face just thinking about him. I need to get Sasuke, I mean usually I wouldn't rush anything, but I need to claim him before that pig, Ino, sinks her claws into him.

As we continue on I sense the chakra of two ninjas above. They feel familiar, but I don't think much of it since I'm familiar with many ninja's chakra and I was already preoccupied in my own thoughts and major concerns.

"Hey Sakura, where do you wanna eat? I just realized we've been walking for a while now and we've basically been going in circles." Kakashi's voice snapped me into reality and I looked over at him, his smile slightly showing beneath his mask.

"How about that new cafe, 'The New Leaf' I believe. I hear that their lemon cake is to die for!" he nodded before asking me to lead the way. "It's just around this corner." Again he nodded, and then put away his 'Make Out Paradise.'

As we make our way around the corner, I see two figured ahead of us leaning against the wall, from here I can't make out their faces, but it's probably just nobody. Kakashi seems particularly happy and nice to day, I mean more than usual. It was nice, but it has to make me wonder as to why he is as happy as he is. That matter is for another time though, back to my plans to get Sasuke.

Oh that's him on the wall; I guess the blonde next to him must be Naruto. That's wired. Those two never hang around each other when they don't have to… Especially Sasuke. I sigh and look at my feet, and notice the steady sound of Kakashi's footsteps on the gravel had stopped, so I looked at him. His eye that was exposed was wide open and the expression he wore on his face held pure shock. He was looking over at Sasuke and Naruto and what I saw definitely wasn't what I was expecting.

The blonde was pinned to the fence as the Uchiha held his wrists, leaning in whispering. He got closer and a smile crept onto his face which was all the more strange, but it all fell into place a mere second later. Sasuke had his lips pressed against Naruto's, much like that time a few years ago in class, but this time it was obviously intentional.

"S-Sasuke? What are you doing?" Kakashi was in a bit too much shock to say anything and just ended up leaving, a small poof of cloud going in the place that he once stood. I guess this means no lunch. "What's going on?" After repeating my question I see my two teammates interlock their fingers. "You're a thing? What1?"

"Sakura, I think it would be best for you to leave." Sasuke's voice was slow like his usual tone, but it had a bit of a spike of hatred in it. I quickly pivoted around and ran. I didn't know where I was running, but my heart was utterly smashed. Smashed like rock through a mirror.

How dare he! Sasuke knew I loved him. I felt tears building up in my eyes, and they stung with jealousy and a feeling of betrayal.

A/n

Sorry that I haven't been updating. My new high school is a bit harder than my old one and I have recently accepted an offer to draw a manga series for someone. I can't leak any information or pics yet about it, but I promise I'm trying to update as fast as I can.

Plus if any of y'all have read my yuri (SakuIno) fic, you may have noticed I slipped in 'The New Leaf' café... yeah... just saying. I thought it would be fun to kinda tie the stories together... I may be able to make Jogging Partners somewhat of a side story or sequel to this fic, tell me what you think of the idea!

I love yall
