I look around here and there. Women were wearing beautiful gowns with laces falling from one side or other. Sparkling jewelers matching with sparkling gowns with hairs being beautifully falling behind their back or being pulled in a bun.
Giggling echoes surrounding the handsome Lord Richard. He is enjoying himself very much with all this attention he is getting. Looking to other side I notice the death glare coming from big group of young men's. Theirs eyebrows furrowed in anger and I wonder if they are cursing him also. I giggle lightly on seeing this scene. It has always been my best scene in any party.
I drank my half fill fruit juice and turned towards the food section. Ah well…that's my second best thing in any party. I was going to pick up my plate but then someone stopped me. I notice someone holding my hand with which I turn around quickly. And it was Sebastian.
Hmm…Sebastian…I'm now quite comfortable with his presence, I mean I doesn't run away if he comes near me like before. And I also notice that after that everything was normal. Nothing happened. Though I didn't get what punishment he was talking about but anyways I neglected it. Maybe it's just his way of teasing.
"M'lady.." He signed.
"huh..what?" He let go of my arm and I look at him with a question mark popping everywhere from my face. I mean what emergency has come that he is separating me from my delicious food.
"This is not the right time to eat …look no one even grabbed a plate and as u can see the food has been cover with metal lids. Means you can't eat now"
My jaw drop open.
"well…not before the ball dance" he said with this time actually smiling.
"ah..i…see" I blush lightly. Well after all he is right. And if I start eating then it would be very un-lady like and people will laugh at me. He must be thinking I'm some kind of idiot.
"no.."
"w-what?" I asked. Did he reply to what I was thinking?
" I mean you can't run away from this party to eat the delicious food at our mansion…." He said while closing his eyes like a teacher.
"c'mon …I'm not that much angry" I rolled my eyes to which he chuckled.
Hmm…everything seems fine between us. It's nice.
I smile to myself.
"oh? People had already started dancing..." He said to which I looked at the hall centre. Many couples have come to the dance floor.
"hey cutie.."
Cutie? I turned around and I saw Lord Richard. Huh what is he doing here? Did he need something?
"Can I have the pleasure to dance with you?" He asked bending lightly with his hand stretched towards me. Suddenly I turn towards the other side and saw large mass of girls giving me death glares. And I bet they must me cursing me. I gulp and quickly turn towards him. I really have no choice but to accept this proposal and so I put my hand on his to which he pull me forward, taking me towards the dance floor. For some reason I look back and I found Sebastian, standing straight with no expression on his face. And as we move towards the centre of dance floor more and more couples came enabling me further to see Sebastian….
