Chapter 7: Gerudo Valley Disasters
"Huff….. Huff….." Link collapsed to the ground. "IT'S SOO HOT"!
"I don't blame you" said Koga. "IM DRYING UP OVER HERE"!
"I feel fine," said Kimiko.
"That's because you are USED TO FIRE," yelled Crono.
As everyone scrambled to their feet, they saw something over the horizon.
"I see something" said Gintei.
"Obviously" said Koga.
As everyone ran towards the strange thing, they stopped when they saw a gate.
"LOOK" said Link. "GERUDO VALLEY"!
"How are we going to get in" asked Kimiko.
"Oh I have a Gerudo's token. We can get in".
Link then walked up to the woman guarding the gate. She waved at him and hugged him. Everyone else waited for at least 10 minutes for Link to convince the woman to open the gate. Not long after, she let the team through. When they entered Gerudo Valley, they saw everything was a wreck.
"What happened here" asked Koga.
"A really weird and crazy dude came and attacked our small village" said one Gerudo woman. "He kidnapped a child of the Gerudo and took off. Our guardian went after him".
"What is your guardian's name?" asked Link.
"I never really knew. Ask Nabooru. She went with him to the Haunted Wasteland to find the child".
"Ok" said Link. "Let's go to the Haunted Wasteland"!
Everyone let out a groan as they headed towards the gate to the Haunted Wasteland. After passing the gate, they endured about 20 minutes of wandering the desert. There was also a sandstorm, so that made things worse.
"I can't see a feet in front of me" yelled Crono.
"Neither can I so deal with it!" yelled Ichigo.
After another 30 minutes, they all made it to the Spirit Temple.
"OH THANK GOD" yelled Marlo. "I thought we would wander this desert forever"!
Link saw a man trying to enter the temple. He walked up to him and tried to say hi, but the man wheeled around and flipped him over.
"WHY…" said Link with a weak voice.
"Sorry" said the man. "I thought you were another one of Ghirahim's grunts".
"Wha?" said Link. "You've met Ghirahim"?
"Yes" said the man. "He took one of the children of the Gerudo inside the temple".
"Do you know why" asked Luffy.
"He told me he planned on using the child's power to… ugh I can't remember what he said after that. He knocked me unconscious after that".
"I'm sorry" said Kimiko. "Were you close to the child"?
"Closer than you think" said the man. He then removed the hood he was wearing. He had black spiky hair that sort of curved over to the right.
"I need help to open the temple door" he said. "Can someone crawl into the small hole right beside me"?
"That's what she said" said Koga.
"HAH!" said Crono.
"Were all too big to fit" said Link. "Maybe a kid could fit in there"!
"I'll go" said Kimiko. "I'm tiny"!
Kimiko then proceeded to crawl into the small hole and into the temple. When she emerged, she saw several pots flying at her.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" she screamed, and ducked from the pots.
As the pots crashed into the wall, she let out a sigh in relief.
"How do I open this door" she asked herself. She then saw a switch up over the edge of the entrance. "Great" she said. "How am I going to get that"?
Just then, an arrow as if from nowhere struck the switch opening the door. When Kimiko turned around to see who it was, there was no one there.
"Way to go Kimiko" said Link. "Now we can all get into the temple"!
"Ok here's how were going to rescue the child" said the man. "Link, you, Koga, Marlo, Kimiko, Crono, and Gintei go down the left corridor. I, Luffy, Inuyasha, Ed, and Ichigo will go the other way".
"OK" said Link. He and the others went down the left.
"Wait…" said Marlo. "We never told him our names".
Link then looked back. "Huh. Maybe he's psychic"!
"Or maybe not" said Gintei.
"Maybe…"said Crono.
Link and the others continued into the temple. Oh maybe I shouldn't tell you this, but the inside of the temple was IRRITATING! It took a long while before Link and the others could find a door of any kind.
"I think we're lost" said Crono.
"Yeah", said Link. "For once I agree with Crono".
"HEY" yelled Crono.
"Where are we going now" asked Koga.
"I don't know," said Link. Just as he said that, an arrow whizzed right by him.
"L-Link…" said Crono.
Link turned around to see Crono shaking in fear. The arrow had whizzed right by his face and scarred him.
Link turned around in anger towards a small figure wearing a hood.
"Don't be a wimp" said the hooded figure. "It barely scraped you".
Link then studied the small figure. "Wait…."
"What" said the figure.
"Aren't you…. Aren't you the boy who helped us in the fight against Ghirahim and Tigrin"?
"Right…. when you were too weak to do anything".
"TAKE THAT BACK"!
"Too late. I already said it".
"Wait" said Kimiko. She walked up closely towards the figure. Before she could get a good look at his face, he leaped back away from her.
"What are you doing" he asked.
"You're the boy who helped me at the lake" she said.
The boy then looked at Kimiko carefully. "Oh yeah. I saw you struggling and waiting for something and you asked me if I had anything to go underwater with".
Kimiko smiled. "Tee hee".
"Whatever" said the boy. "Aren't we going to find the missing Gerudo child" he asked.
"Who said anything about you coming with us" said Link.
"And how did you know we were looking for the child" said Kimiko.
The boy looked at everyone with a grin on his face. "You'll find out soon enough".
"You're not going with us," said Link looking at him angrily.
"Yes I am. Say anything otherwise and this room's walls will be covered in your blood" said the boy.
Link walked up in his face. "Just you try it"!
The boy then proceeded to pull out the weak looking sword and held up to Link's neck. Link however didn't budge cause the sword looked weak. 'Ha-ha! You think that pathetic thing will work against a sword like mine"?
Link then pulled out his sword, which was longer than the boys.
"Never underestimate the power of Excalibur," said the boy.
"Excalibur?! You named your pathetic sword after one of the strongest swords alive"?
"Well the Masamune is strong too" said Crono.
"No" said the boy. "It IS Excalibur"!
"This bustled up l thing? Ha! Don't make me laugh"!
"I'LL SHOW YOU," said the boy. Before he could strike Link, Kimiko and Crono stepped in the way.
"Enough of this nonsense! We need to find that kid", said Kimiko.
"Fine" said the boy. "But keep me away from the green condom over here".
"YOU… YOU… I will get you," said Link.
The boy let out a small chuckle. "Don't make me laugh".
Everyone went deeper into the temple. As they progressed, there was no sign of the child. Link let out a hopeless sigh as he continued to walk down a narrow hallway.
"We might as well just give up. This temple is to large".
"What? Quitting so easily" said the boy. " I thought you were better then that".
Link looked at the boy with an angry expression on his face. "I"LL SHOW YOU" he yelled and ran deeper into the temple.
"Link! WAIT UP" yelled Kimiko.
Before Link could hear her, he ran smack right into someone.
"Link? How did you get here?" said Ed.
"ED?" yelled Link. The hooded man and the others ran into the room.
"Did you find anything" said the hooded man.
"All we found were dead bodies and one really annoying kid" said Link.
The boy looked at the man. He scoffed, and then turned away from him.
Suddenly the floor began to rumble. As the floor started shaking, the ground began to separate. A Darknut the size of the hooded man appeared from the ground with 2 wizzrobes. Then, someone else came out.
"Ah there you are" he said looking at the hooded man and the boy. "I thought I would never find you again"!
"You! Leave us alone, Byrne"!
"At last master Ghirahim's wish will soon come true" yelled Byrne. "There's nothing you can do to resist! Give up now and come quietly"!
"Just try to catch me if you can" yelled the boy. As he said that, he sprinted away and raced towards the ceiling.
"GO! DARKNUT! WIZZROBE! GET THAT CHILD" yelled Byrne. "I'll handle the other one…"
The hooded man charged at Byrne. Byrne then parried the punch the hooded man threw. As they were fighting, Kimiko yelled at Link:
"Help that man! Me, Crono, and Koga are going to help that kid"!
Kimiko, Crono, and Koga raced by the boy's side. One of the Wizzrobe then charged a fire attack while the other one summoned Keese.
The boy then charged a beam of energy and fired it at one of the Wizzrobe. It surely had destroyed it, but then the other one fired the fire attack it was charging and hit the boy square on.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" yelled the boy. When he got up from the ground, his hood had completely burned off. He had black spiky hair similar to the man's. He kind of looked like him, too.
Kimiko stared at the boy long and hard. "HOLY SHIT" she yelled, completing the first swear said in this series.
Then the boy pulled out his sword, which was knocked out of his hands seconds after pulling it out.
"Ah! Excalibur" he yelled.
Kimiko bolted at the sword and then quickly threw it to him. Then the boy sprung at the other Wizzrobe. As he swung Excalibur, he let out a mighty yell and struck the Wizzrobe.
"Phew" said the boy. "That's done with".
"YOU"RE THE NICE BOY WHO GAVE ME THAT WATER PROTECTION SPELL" Kimiko blurted out. "REMEMBER AT AQUARIA VILLAGE"?
The boy then looked at Kimiko. "Oh! I didn't recognize you. Why are you hanging around with a complete idiot"?
"Who? Gintei"?
Gintei began to weep.
"No. that green guy. Mr. Know-It-All".
"Oh Link! No he's not an idiot. He saved my life not once but twice" said Kimiko.
"Well then I guess he's only a douche to me" said the boy.
"WATCH YOUR LANGUAGE" yelled Kimiko.
"You said shit" said the boy, and with that, Kimiko covered her mouth and also began to weep.
"HHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" yelled Byrne as he struck the hooded man to the ground rendering him unconscious. Byrne then picked him up and disappeared.
"NO!" yelled the boy. He then ran to the place the man and Byrne disappeared.
"We gotta save him" he said.
"Do you know each other" said Link.
"Wha? W-well…. Yeah".
"Aww" said Kimiko.
"Ok then let's go find him" said Luffy.
"I think he might be in the dungeon's main chamber" said the boy. "But it's on the top of this crazy dungeon. We'll never reach it".
"Ha! That's what you think" said Gintei. I have a grappling hook. Maybe we can swing up there"!
"It might work" said the boy. "All right then. I'll meet you guys there"!
With that, the boy vanished.
"Wah! W-where did he go" said Kimiko.
"Doesn't matter. Let's go" said Link.
After another 2 hours of searching, Koga eventually found a secret hole found behind one of the statues in the room where Byrne attacked. As they went through the hole, Crono almost fell over the edge. Link then looked around and saw some wood planks sticking out of the walls.
"Gintei! Up there! C'mon" he said.
Gintei then used the grappling hook to get to the room on top of the dungeon. When they got there, the boy was standing there, looking at everyone with an angry expression.
"What took you so long" he yelled. "Get your asses in here and help me find my d-"
He stopped before he could say anything else.
"Your… what?" said Link.
"Never mind. C'mon let's go"!
"I wonder why he stopped" said Kimiko.
Link and the others walked into the pitch black room. Most of them scrambled for a switch of some sort, and most of them succumbed to the horrible memories of the Infernus and cried like a baby.
"I can't see" said the boy.
"Neither can I" said Link. After patting the walls for a good 10 minutes, he finally felt something.
"I think I found a switch" said Link as he proceeded to press it.
What happened next no one saw coming. The floor of the room swung wide open causing everyone to plummet a good 2 to 3 feet towards the cold hard ground. When they landed, Link looked around as the new room was filled with light.
"W-what's going on" said Crono.
As they stood still for a while, the boy turned around in a rush only to hear some sort of chanting:
O magne tenebris
Dirige manus,
Et elisus in terram, Et sacra potestate,
Ex hoc quod
Et revertentur in terram hanc:
"What is it saying" said Link.
"It's some sort of ritual" said the boy. He and Link then proceeded to walk down a narrow hallway. As they walked down, the room grew dimmer and dimmer. As they kept walking they heard more of the chant:
O magne tenebris
Quam operatus est in maxillis
Adducam denuo firmatum
Animabus pestem totiens iam effugimus huius mundi
"I'm getting scared" said Kimiko.
By the time the room drew darker, they had reached the end of the hallway only to see Byrne and a hooded figure chanting, and the man whom they had captured glowing.
"HEY YOU" yelled the boy, pulling out his sword. "LET HIM GO"!
Byrne looked at the boy. "Don't mess with affairs that don't concern you boy" he said. He then leaped at the boy and knocked him to the side.
"YOU'VE GOT THE WRONG PERSON" yelled the boy. "IM THE ONE YOU'RE AFTER"!
The hooded man then proceeded to lift his head and stare at the boy.
"DON'T SAY ANYMORE" yelled the other man. "YOU'VE SAID ENOUGH"!
"Byrne" said the man chanting. "Get him".
Byrne then proceeded to leap towards the boy once again. The boy then swung his sword at Byrne only for it to get swept out of his hands. "WATCH OUT" yelled Crono as he charged at Byrne and kicked him to the side. Crono then pulled out the Masamune and aimed it at Byrne.
"Thank Frog that I still have this "said Crono. "It has enough power to stop you"!
Byrne looked at Crono. He then turned around and charged at Link. Link barely had any time to react before Byrne sliced him down the chest.
"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" yelled Link as he was sent flying backwards into the wall. As Byrne prepared another strike, the boy leapt from behind and sliced Byrne down the back. Byrne turned around as the boy started glowing. He held his sword high as wind surrounded the boy.
"Excalibur won't save you now" yelled Byrne as he charged at the boy.
"Please Saber…. Help me save him" the boy whispered to himself. He held his sword high and said:
"Oh wind, here I have no worry about scorching the earth"!
The sword then became enveloped in the wind. After a while, the wind vanished and the old decrepit sword became a golden glistening sword. The boy then readied his sword and aimed at Byrne.
"IF IM GOING DOWN IM GOING TO TAKE YOU WITH ME" yelled Byrne.
The boy then charged at Byrne in a blinding golden light. He swung his sword and yelled:
"EXCALIBUR"!
The sword struck Byrne head on. Byrne let out a painful scream as he collapsed to the ground, limp and weak. Then the boy turned to the chanting man. He aimed the sacred sword at him and gave him an ugly look.
"LET….HIM….GO"!
The hooded figure looked at the boy. "So you wield the legendary blade Excalibur. Impressive, for my men have searched for that blade all over and couldn't find it. But here you are, standing with it now! You're full of surprises aren't you"? He then teleported in front of the boy.
"GET BACK" yelled the boy, aiming Excalibur at the man.
"Ha-ha… Excalibur won't do you any good against me. "He then swung at the boy and knocked the sword out of his hands.
"Y-you"!
"Ah, easy now my child" he said as he placed his hand on the boy's head. "There is no need to panic. I merely need a great power to grant Master Ghirahim's wishes, and that man is as close as they come. Sorry, even if you are the one I'm looking for; you're still weaker than that man".
"Oh yeah" said the boy. "Stand back".
As the man stood back, the boy suddenly began to yell. As he yelled, the ground started to shake. Everyone gasped in horror as some of the ground gave away. The man looked at the boy with fear in his eyes. Then he gave a smirk and walked towards the boy.
"NOT SO FAST" yelled Crono who jumped in front of the boy, aiming the Masamune at the man.
The boy stopped powering up. "What are you doing" he said.
"You must be really stupid, huh" said Crono.
"And what do you mean by that" said the man.
Without warning, Crono grabbed the boy and pulled him down, forcing him to duck. Then the man turned around and saw that the hooded man whom was captured was free and looking really angry. He then came at him and struck his back. The man took a few steps back as he looked at Crono with a confusing look.
"While you were focusing on the kid, me, Kimiko and Link set him free" said Crono.
"You and your friends are very clever" said the man. He then proceeded to pull out a tiny ball from his pocket. "Until we meet again". He threw the ball at the floor and vanished.
"Who was that guy" said Link.
"I don't know but he gave me the creeps" said Ed.
The man then ran up to the boy. "Are you ok" he said.
"Yeah… I'm fine" said the boy.
"I thought I told you to keep your secret hidden"!
"Sorry. I just wanted to..."
"That's ok" said the man as he patted the boy's head. "You're safe, and that's all I care about".
"Wait… What's going on" said Link. "W-who are you"?
"That's right" said the man. "I never told you my name! And you're probably wondering how I know yours, Link"!
"YEAH HOW?"
"We met at Hyrule Castle, Remember? You got sucked into that portal"?
"Oh yeah"!
"Well it's nice to meet the rest of you" said the man. "My name is Goku"!
"Goku?" said Crono.
"and this" he said placing his hand on the boy's shoulder," is my son, Gohan"!
"SON!?" everyone yelled. "So that's why you got emotional"!
"Go to hell" said Gohan. Then he turned away and walked off.
"Why is he like that" said Kimiko.
"Sigh… he used to be this sweet little boy, but then his mother died. I think it mentally scarred him because she died in the most unusual way. She was murdered".
"OH DEAR GOD" yelled Koga. "How"?
"A strange man invaded my home and impaled her with his blade. Gohan got angry and vowed to hunt him down and kill him the same way he killed his mother".
"That's really sad" said Kimiko.
Goku then looked at Kimiko. "You really look like her, too" he told her.
"I-I do"?
"So can we go now?" said Link.
"I'm afraid not," said Goku. "We have guarded this temple since Gohan was a small child. There is an evil presence here and we need to destroy it".
"Oh. Wah" said Link. "Let's go then".
After walking down a long hallway and falling down a couple floors, Link found a yellow chest that contained the Big Key. Right after he picked up the Big Key, someone cried out "HEEEEEEEEEELP"!
Link and Crono ran up to a large pit. When they looked inside, they saw not one, but 5 people stuck in the pit. Crono's eyes went wide when he saw them.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE" he yelled at one of them.
"Crono" said another. "GET US OUT OF HERE"!
Crono grabbed the hand of the female with blonde hair. He pulled and pulled until they flew out of the pit.
"MARLE! WHAT ARE YOU AND THE OTHERS DOING HERE" yelled Crono?
"We were looking for you" she screamed. "Lucca, can you explain to him"?
"Only if you ask Frog to stand back a little" said Lucca.
"Frog" said Marle.
"Fine" said Frog and he went to go stand next to Robo and Ayla.
"Crono strong" said Ayla. "Bad man scare Marle! Crono beat bad man"!
"Huh" said Crono. "What bad man"?
"Bad man tall! Scary! Ayla no scared! Ayla fight" she said.
"Someone came over and attacked us. We were hoping to find you so can help us" said Frog.
"Well, I have other problems right now, let me deal with this sage stuff and I'll help you. Until then why don't you stay with us for the meantime"?
"Sure" said Marle with excitement. "This should be fun"!
Lucca then looked at Gohan. She pulled onto Crono's arm and dragged him away.
"Why does that boy look like you" she said.
"I don't know. I never noticed"!
"CMON" yelled Goku. "We need to go now"!
"OK ok" said Link. He pushed Gohan out of his way and walked down the corridor. "You don't have to yell!"
"AUGH YOU ASS YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO SHOVE" said Gohan. He ran behind Link and smacked him right on the back. Link then turned around and slapped Gohan. Gohan then tackled him down the stairs.
"Boys! Quit fighting" yelled Kimiko. "You can settle this later"!
Before anything else could happen, Link and Gohan fell down as the floor gave away. Goku and the others rushed to the hole and jumped down. When they got there, Koga looked around and saw weird markings on the wall.
"Whats this" said Koga.
Luffy and Inuyasha walked up to the wall. Both examined carefully before yelling out, "ITS IN HYLIAN"!
Marlo ran up to the wall. "Link! It says the same thing over at the Forest Temple"!
Before Marlo could make out the rest of the transcript, the ground started to rumble. Everyone grabbed the wall as the floor began to rise. Suddenly the floor exploded revealing a small ball. The ball then grew bigger as mounds of sand began to pour out of it. Then the beast grew bigger and bigger. It was now slowly filling up the room trying to flood it. Then it let out a piercing shriek and vanished into the sand.
GIANT SAND MASS
ARENAM
Link and Goku jumped out of the way as Arenam launched itself out of the ground. Arenam then flew around for a while then took the form of a ball. It began to glow and then flung itself at Kimiko. Before Arenam could hit her Gohan grabbed her and pulled her out of the way. Arenam then sank back into the ground. No one could tell where Arenam was. Not long Arenam began to sprout out from under Link.
"LINK LOOK OUT" yelled Goku.
Link sidestepped out of the way just before Arenam shot out. Arenam then sank back into the sand once again.
"How are we going to stop this thing" said Gintei.
"GOHAN" yelled Goku. "WE NEED TO DO IT"!
"Really? I thought you said I needed more practice before I could use it"!
"JUST DO IT"!
"ok" said Gohan. He flew to his father and stood beside him. Goku then grabbed Gohan's hand and started to chant:
"Goddess hear our prayer
Give us the strength we need
To overcome this trial
And share the price
That both shall pay
Start up
The Double Swirl"!
Goku and Gohan then flew into the air. Both started glowing an orange color. Link and the others watched as Goku and Gohan flew up high and began to glow even brighter.
"Are you ready Gohan" asked Goku.
"Ready when you are" said Gohan.
Before Goku or Gohan could even activate the Double Swirl, Arenam leaped out of the Sand and enveloped Gohan in a ball of sand.
"GOHAN" yelled Goku.
Arenam then flew back down to the ground and took Gohan with it. As the small boy started to disappear in the sand, Kimiko rushed to the spot where he was sinking.
"CRONO HELP ME" she yelled as she grabbed Gohan's hand. Crono then rushed to her aid and grabbed Gohan's other hand. Both pulled with all of their might but could not free Gohan. Then Link came over and pulled. Right when Link pulled, Gohan flew out of the sand and hit Kimiko square on.
"Are you ok" asked Kimiko.
"*cough* yeah. I'll be fine".
*cough*!
Gohan then flew up back to Goku. "CMON! WE NEED TO DESTROY THIS THING"!
"We are gonna need 3 minutes to charge up! Can you distract Arenam for us" asked Goku.
"All right" yelled Link. "Crono! Attack it from behind"!
Crono then ran behind Arenam and sliced its back. It didn't work however because Arenam is made out of sand.
"It won't work" yelled Crono.
"Let me try" said Frog. He charged up a powerful water attack and struck Arenam. Arenam then let out a painful shriek and sunk back into the sand.
"Water is super effective on it" said Link. "Do it again"!
"Marle! C'mon lets use Ice Water" yelled Frog.
Marle and Frog charged up Ice Water as Arenam rose from the ground one again.
"HYAAA" yelled Marle and Frog as they unleashed their attack on Arenam. Arenam then began to surf around the room to create sand whirlpools.
"Don't get sucked in" yelled Link.
Ayla and Robo then leaped up onto Arenam's back and began to spit on it(except for Robo).
Arenam then let out another shriek to stun the team.
"IT'S CHARGED" said Goku. He and Gohan then charged at Arenam and pierced right through the chest. Arenam then let out one final shriek and dissolved. The room cleared of sand and a heart container appeared.
Gohan looked at Link and smiled evilly. "Eat it" said Gohan.
"Nuh uh! Not again" said Link.
"Do it or I'll force it down your throat" said Gohan.
"Sigh… All right" said Link. He picked up the heart container and gave it a disgusted look. Then he took out a small fork, threw it away, and shoved the heart container in his mouth. After a couple seconds into it, blood began to spew everywhere, even on other people. Blood splattered on Crono, Kimiko, Ed, Goku, and finally Gohan. After the blood flew in his eyes causing him to run around uncontrollably and screaming at the top of his lungs, he walked angrily over to Link and shoved the remains of the heart container down his throat.
"Urk-"said Link. He then swallowed and everyone looked up towards his heart gauge.
Nothing.
Then they waited another good 10 minutes.
Nothing.
"What the hey" said Link. "Where's my heart"?
"Hey guys! Look over here! I found a heart shaped capsule" yelled Goku.
Everyone looked at Link with a nauseous look. Link didn't eat the heart container. He ate Arenam's actual heart. Link then began to vomit profusely over Gohan and passed out.
….
"Wha-" said Link as he woke up from his slumber. "What happened"?
"You passed out" said Goku. "And after Gohan beat you like a rag doll for puking on him he shoved the actual heart container down your throat, and then began to choke you out of anger".
"Sorry" said Link. Then his attention was set on a steaming angry Gohan right next to him holding a pillow in his hands.
"I will GET you" he whispered to Link, smiling a wicked grin.
"Oh! I've been meaning to ask you something" said Link. "Have you seen any sages"?
"Sages" said Goku. He looked at Gohan then back at Link.
"Yeah. We're looking for the 6 new sages to help us stop Ghirahim and Ganon"!
"Sorry" said Goku. "I've never seen a sage before".
"If you want to find one" said Gohan, "you can find one RIGHT UP YOUR-"
"GOHAN" yelled Goku.
Gohan looked at Goku then walked off.
"He really hates you" said Goku.
"Wah" said Link.
"Boy has bad temper" said Ayla. "Ayla go cheer up boy"!
"I think I'm gonna walk outside for a bit" said Goku. "You rest up here".
As Goku walked out of the room, Link looked to his left to see the same shining light he saw at the beginning of his journey.
"Have you found any sages yet" said the goddesses.
"You didn't tell me how to find them" said Link.
"You must reunite lost bonds and create friendships" said the goddesses. "You must go through great trials and bring back memories of the old and forgotten. Each sage has a special item that will awaken them. If you find those items, they will awaken as sages. Ask the one called Gintei. He will be of great help".
"Ok" said Link. He got out of bed and went to find Gintei. He then found him talking to Marlo.
"Hey Gintei" said Link. "Can we talk"?
"Sure" said Gintei. "What's wrong"?
"I really need to find these sages. What can you tell me about the 6 sacred items"?
"Ah" Gintei began. "The 6 Sacred items are the keys to awakening the 6 sages. For example, I have this anklet that my mother gave to me before she left to help seal Ganon. I've kept it safe ever since. She told me it's the symbol of the Sheikah and that it is sacred to our people".
"And…" said Link.
"To find these keys, you must help the sages remember what they forgot and lost. Maybe a bracelet, or an amulet, or even a toy"…
"Ok" said Link. "I need to go talk to Marlo real quick".
Link walked around for another 10 minutes before finding Marlo. Marlo was sitting on the bench, moping.
"What's wrong" asked Link.
"Sigh… I just…. Well you see…. When I first met you, did you happen to see a wristband anywhere"?
"Nope" said Link. Then he remembered Gintei's words. "It is important to you"?
"Yeah. Kimiko gave it to me, but I can't remember why she did. All I know is that I've had it since, and I'm upset that I lost it".
"Ok… do you remember where you had it last"?
"Well, I remember being in the lost woods when I lost it" said Marlo. "We can go look there"!
"Ok" said Link. "hey everyone" we're going to the Lost Woods"!
"Hooray" yelled Marle. "More adventures"!
"Well ok. I have nothing better to do" said Ed.
"Eh…. Ok but pull anything and you can kiss your chances of fatherhood goodbye" said Gohan.
"Ok… let's go" said Link, and everyone started to walk towards a large forest…
