Sasuke's POV

My blood boiled just watching Hinata cling to the arm of that emo. I watched his whisper something in her ear and she giggled all cute and her cheeks went all rosy. I walked and watched her the whole 10 minutes we were there until… I saw it. A big, spooky, black horror house. I smirked.

"Let's go to that one." I said signaling the game. From the corner of my eye I saw Hinata's eyes widen and she gripped that jerk's arm. My smirk widened a little. Let the Get-Hinata plan commence.

Hinata's POV

One look at what Sasuke was pointing at and I nearly wet my pants. Shorts. Whatever! I have never EVER been a fan of haunted houses or anything scary! I looked over at the rest. Kiba wasn't paying attention, Naruto and Ino looked amazed at this… thing, and Gaara was just looking at it like if it was nothing. I gulped because I knew that there was a MAJOR possibility that I might have to go in.

"I-I don't think that's a good idea. Look at the line." I hoped that would change their minds.

Gaara squeezed my hand reassuringly. "She's right. Why waste time on this?" He took my hand and started to walk away when Sasuke spoke up. "Chicken." That one word did it. Gaara turned with that creepy dark look and glared at Sasuke. "Last one out loses 50 bucks." Sasuke smirked. "Deal." I looked terrified that they were gonna start fighting so I spoke up. "I-I think I'll stay out here." Ok that might not have stopped their glaring but I REALLY didn't want to go in there.

"I'll stay with her." Surprised, I looked at Sakura who was staring at the house that was laughing. Tenten and Naruto's eyes widened. "We're in!" They both shouted. "Reeeeady… Go!" shouted Ino as all four went off. Kiba yawned. "I'm getting something to eat." he called back as he walked away.

I blinked watching them enter the spooky house.

Sasuke's POV

Perfect. I managed to lose the three idiots. If only I could get Hinata inside now. I sighed. Sometimes you gotta sacrifice something to get what you want. I swallowed my pride and dialed Sakura's number. She answered with that gross sugary sweet voice. I sighed. "Sakura. Come inside and walk with me." I heard a high pitched squeal and hung up. Surely Hinata will follow. I leaned against the wall next to a clown with a head and waited.

Hinata's POV

I don't know who that was but as soon as the call ended Sakura turned to me, said she was going in, and walked away. Grr why do I have to be such a chicken?! I stomped my feet and walked after Sakura.

Just as I was about to walk in I heard creepy laughter and walked right back out. I didn't want to stay out so I took a breath and ran in.

Sasuke's POV

I made sure not to be seen by Sakura. It was like she could smell me. I saw Hinata hovering at the entrance like a scared puppy. She then just ran in. Eyes shut, mouth wide… I shook my head. This was not the time to be a perv. I walked after almost feeling bad. Almost. Every single sound or light made her scream. I sighed and grabbed her shoulder. She shrieked and almost popped my ears. "Hey it's me. Calm down." Her eyes went from scared to mad to confused. A crappy looking 'vampire' popped out and she screamed again and clung to my arm. She looked up at me with tears in her opal eyes and mouth something. Her mouth… Her lips.. They seemed familiar. Like the ones from the dream.

I shook my head from that flashback. There was no way. I sighed and wrapped my arm around her then lead us out. "We're out." I tried to sound as nice as I could. She whimpered and looked up from my side. I never knew how short she was. It was kind of cute. "Hinata I wanted to apologize." My eyes widened. Was I actually apologizing? To Hinata? Yes. Yes I was. She looked up at me before running towards the emotard. I cannot believe it! I was talking to her! And she runs FROM ME! And to make matters worse, Naruto has the balls to walk to me and ask for money! With a scowl I gave him the money (an Uchiha never backs out on his word) and followed the rest.

I needed to get close to her but how?! My next plan was to get on the rollercoaster. We had to team up in threes so the dog person, the blonde girl and Naruto were together. The emo and Sakura were with some random person just like Hinata and me. But as soon as I opened my mouth to speak, the damn ride started and it was impossible to hear from Sakura's screaming. When we got off I pulled Hinata to the side. She raised her eyebrow and told me I was stepping in puke. GREAT!

*BECAUSE I HAVE WRITTER'S BLOCK: 3 Hours Later*

After numerous attempts of talking to her, rinsing my shoes off twice, about 10 rides, 6 games and two crappy old hot dogs it was time to go. I refused to be ignored so I grabbed her arm and demanded to speak to her.

Hinata's POV

We were just about to leave when Sasuke took my hand and asked to talk to me. This gentle side of him reminds me of the old him. The one I love. Loved? I shook my head.

"Hinata I've spent all this time trying to talk to you. I have not even tried to fight with your… boyfriend. I just need to talk to you."

My heart broke a little hearing him say this. After all these years. I have never loved anyone else but him. I followed him around like a puppy. I never noticed anyone else but him. I sold my soul for him! And I got hurt over and over again. I shook my head.

"Why? Why now? Why when I'm finally happy Sasuke? " I looked around to make sure no one was looking at us arguing. At least I think we were arguing.

"Hinata I know you like me. I don't know why you're denying it." I looked at Sasuke. The sweet Sasuke that I had known was now replaced with this smug bastard. "No Sasuke. I'm not denying anything. I do like you. A lot. But I love him. I love Gaara. Now if you'll excuse me, my boyfriend is waiting." With that I walked away. If I am going to die I shall at least have fun.

Sasuke's POV

I was dumbfounded. Did that just happen? After all these years she suddenly decides to be over me?! I walked aimlessly and leaned against a photo booth. The twitching in my chest was making it hard for me to breath. I heard giggling and what a coincidence! Hinata and Gaara walked out. They took their pictures and walked away. I saw him take a small purple chain from his pocket and give it to her. She smiled and wrapped her arms around him before putting the chain on her phone. She opened up the little hear and I'm guessing it had their pictures in it. Gaara leaned in and I looked away as Hinata blushed. I looked down feeling the pain in my chest grow. In front of me was the photo strip of them. I cringed at the sight of Hinata and that guy together. I looked up and watched them walk out holding hands.

"I will not lose her to you." I said.
