So new chapter guys. I'll put the author note at the end.

Percy POV

That night was our first job with Kronos. And I was scared. I've never been this scared before.

Tonight we had to prove our worth. Rose and I, along with other newbie's, have to remove some gang members on Kronos property. It didn't seem hard, but what if it was a full on gang with guns and weapons and not some teenagers trying to be cool.

Its not like I don't know how to fight, I have protected myself from bullies before. Just not 6ft, ripped bullies armed with guns.

And also, all we had to arm ourselves with was a knife. All of us 'newbie's' were loaded into a truck. 3 people were dropped off at a time at different points, with only 1 task. Find the target and stop it.

Unfortunately no one specified what stop is. So anything could happen. Soon Rose and my names were called, along with Ethan Nakamura. Ethan was a tanned Japanese boy, maybe a year older than us, with dull green eyes and neat black hair.

All of us were dressed in complete black clothes, which were given to us. We boys were wearing sleeveless black muscle tees with baggy black sweatpants. Rose and the rest of the girls were wearing black vest tops with baggy black sweatpants; Rose's hair was tied back into a high pony tail.

We watched as the truck sped away to another drop of point. I turned to look at Rose and Ethan; I could hardly see them in the darkness but Roses blond hair stood out like a sore thumb.

"I suggest we just look around and see if we spot anything," Ethan said. "I agree." Rose nodded.

We were on the side of a road. A large, tall grass field was in front of us and tall, grey buildings behind. "This is Kronos property?" I wondered allowed. "Kronos' property stretches out for miles," Ethan replied, "these are houses of his employees, and he takes care of his workers.

"So if we find this threat we will get to live in one of these houses?" Rose asked. "Yes," Ethan said, "There's even a bus that passes though here and takes the kids to school."

"How do you know so much about Kronos," I asked. "My mum works for Kronos," Ethan replied, "And now its time for me to prove my worth."

We froze in our steps. "Did your hear that?" Rose asked. Up ahead of us was a biker leaning against a building, a cigarette lit in his mouth. A red motor bike was resting against the curb. "There's our gang member." I whispered. "That's no gang member," Ethan whispered back, "that's Ares Olympia and Olympian agent. Enemies of Kronos."

"Hey Blondie," Ares spoke, "What ya doing." Rose froze. "He can't see us because of our dark hair." I whispered. "You distract him, while we'll disarm him and knock him out." Ethan finished.

Rose nodded and stepped forward, "Hey," she said. Ethan and I slowly stepped round to the other side of Ares. "What's a little girl like you doing out on a night like this?" Ares asked. "Couldn't sleep," she replied simply. Ethan sent me some hand gestures; I sent him a confused look back. He sighed.

"So you live around then?" Ares asked. Rose looked around. "No?" she said, even though it sounded more like a question. Ethan unsheathed his belt, I did the same."No," she confirmed Rose, "It's hard to see but I defiantly don't live on Kronos property." Ares bolted up, "How do you know about Kronos?" Rose smiled and pointed in our direction, "Behind you."

Before he could realise what was happening Ethan and I attacked. We slashed and swiped with our knifes at Ares, leaving random cuts across his body.

But Ares reacted fast, he pulled out a sword from gods knows where and started to fight back. We were losing to fast. Ares was good, too good. Within minutes he had disarmed us both, knocking us to the ground. Ares smirked and raised his sword to finish us off. I closed my eyes waiting for impact.

I waited and waited but the pain never came. I heard a groan and opened my eyes. I saw Rose standing over Ares crumbled form. "I am not little!" she said confidently.

I jumped up and hugged Rose, soon Ethan joined in and we had a little group hug, that was not childish at all. "What do we do now?" Rose asked. "Take home to Kronos Ethan replied. "And how do we do that?" she asked. Ethan and I shared a mischievous smirk and turned towards Ares' motorbike, Rose soon joined in on our smile.

Soon we were cruising down the road towards Kronos HQ. Ethan was steering, after much debate. Behind him Ares lay over the bike with rose perched on top of him, so she could hit him again if he wakes up and because she wanted to. I was sitting on the bike backwards and it was awesome. The wind was flowing backwards through my hair and it felt amazing.

"We're here!" Ethan yelled over the wind. I turned slightly and saw the most amazing house ever. A large mansion came into view, with a long driveway and a huge garden. Ethan pulled up to the steps in front of the large double doors.

A tall, blonde hair man with golden eyes opened the doors, Kronos himself, "It looks like our winners have arrived!" He said. We hoped of the bike as he approached. "And who do we have here?" He asked. "I'm Ethan Nakamura and this is Percy Jackson and Rose Summers, sir." Ethan replied. "And who's on the bike?" he asked as he lifted up Ares head to see his face. "This is not the guy I wanted. But Ares Olympia is even better. How did you catch him?" he asked. "He put up a good fight and then I hit him over the head with a rock, sir." Rose replied.

"Good job." Kronos beamed. "Now kids come inside." We walked up the steps with Kronos behind us. And the sight was amazing. Inside was a room full of people wearing fancy clothes. Music was playing and people were dancing, talking and laughing. A party was going on.

"Welcome home kids." Kronos said.

Home

So I realise I haven't updated in a while. And I could give you some excuse but the bottom line is, I'm lazy.

So I have decided to give you a choice. I can either stop at this point or time skip to when Annabeth is introduced or I can finish the groups first year of and then skip to when Annabeth comes in or I can write out every year until Annabeth is introduced. Here's a small snippet of Annabeth's first POV.

Annabeth's Entrance- 3rd person

It was Annabeth Chase first day at Goode High School. And though she would never admit it, she was scared.

She was only going to Goode for her senior year, and the semester has already started, so hopefully no one would notice the new girl until graduation.

Annabeth had recently moved in with her Dad and her step mom and step mother. She hadn't seen them since she was seven and now she remembered why she left in the first place.

The house was crowded and loud. Really loud. She had to place to think, to study or work. And she missed her mum.

For the last 9 years Annabeth had been living with her mum, Dr Athena Olympia. Annabeth's mum had gone back to her maiden name after she divorced Annabeth's dad, Dr. Fredrick Chase.

But unfortunately, Annabeth's mum was away on a business trip for the rest of the year. So that meant Annabeth had to move across country from sunny San Francisco to the city that never sleeps, New York.

And New York really did live up to that name. New York was loud, all the time. Annabeth hadn't had a moment of peace since she arrived, which was more than a week ago.
