Chapter 7 - Shadow Law Island

Cammy arched her back as felt heavy muscular hands trailed down her flat stomach. They traveled lower, dipping their fingers between her legs and cupping the apex. She whimpered, as those deft fingers placed gentle circular pressure on her clit. Her vision was fuzzy as her eye lids were heavy with sleep as she attempted to open her eyes. She could only see the darkness, save for a dark outline of massive muscular male individual and a pair of glittering red eyes. She then jerked awake from her slumber, her frantic hands looking for the bedside lamp. In her desperation for light, she accidentally shoved Wisent off the bed. She could hear him mewling his protest as he landed with soft thump on the floor.

Once she had turned on the light in her room, she could now see that she was alone and that there was no imposing figure lurking above her and trying to take advantage of her body. It had been a vivid dream, her most realistic yet. Her skin was still heated from the actions she thought she was experiencing at the hands of the dark stranger with the fiery red gaze. She sighed a breath of relief before turning the lamp off and settling back into bed. She reached over for Wisent, placing him on top of the pillow next to her head. It was only 5 AM, there was still a couple of hours rest that were owed to her.

Cammy shut her eyes, trying to fall back asleep but her mind was too busy now to allow her body to fall back into sleep. She was having a hard time adjusting to her new circumstances. She was currently staying at Shadow Law's headquarters in Brazil, but she was all alone save for Wisent. When the rest of her Delta Red team attempted to join her on the vessel that would take Cammy to the secret Shadow Law island, the boat operator refused, stating that only competitors of the tournament were given access to their HQ.

Then, Colonel Wolfman pushed her onto the boat and promised that they would wait for her at the dock or find another way to Shadow Law's headquarters. That occurred almost a week ago and she hadn't gotten used to being so alone yet. She felt very isolated at the HQ, upon her arrival. Masked soldiers assigned her to a private bunker and a pass card and that was it. Every morning she would wake up to find a envelope waiting for her at the door. Inside, a note stating that her future match was suspended until further notice. So, then she spent her days listlessly wandering through the permitted areas of the Shadow Law base.

So everyday thus far, it had been a cycle of grabbing meals from HQ's gourmet kitchen, spending time at the gym, taking a stroll along the beach line and heading to bed. It was not bad routine, as the Shadow Law facilities did prove that leading the criminal life did provide them with the best luxuries that money could buy. Her meals were incredible, as everyday there was colossal buffet laid out. There was a great assortment of tropical fruits, vegetables, fresh baked breads, as well as mouth watering selection of expensive cuts of grilled meats. She almost never had the same meal twice and could not complain about the quality of the food served. The training areas were well equipped with advanced machines and spa like services when you were finished exercising. Furthermore, the private beach set aside for competitors of the World Warrior tournament was taken straight out of travel magazine, with its white sands and baby blue waters. It almost felt as if she was on vacation. But Cammy didn't come to Shadow Law for the five star amenities, she had greater expectations.

She had hoped that as soon as she stepped foot inside their facility, that maybe some of her memories would come flooding back. It was apparent to her that she had some type connection to Shadow Law and guessed that maybe something would jog her memory...but to no avail. No memories returned, but there was something strangely familiar about the facility. For instance, she already knew her way to the dining hall and their state-of-the-art gymnasium without the use of provided map of the approved locations of Shadow Law HQ.

Perhaps it was better that her Delta Red team didn't accompany her, because they would certainly find her familiarization of Shadow Law HQ mildly alarming. But Cammy couldn't help but yearn for their company. She missed Lita's soft snoring, their shared love of chocolate goodies and her boisterous laughter. She wasn't very close to the other team mates, but she was beginning to miss the guys as well. Matthew's pick up lines on Lita and George's random facts during banal conversations had always been a source of amusement for her. Then, there was Colonel Wolfman, who had become a father figure to her during her time with Delta Red. She was missing his wisdom and his calming presence.

With long sigh, she rolled out of her single bunk and stretched her arms into her bathrobe before making her way to the door. Maybe it was early enough for her to catch the messenger that was leaving the tournament envelopes by her door. She opened the door and let out a shout of surprise as her gaze met with Bison's, the envelope in his hand.

"Did I scare you, little one?" Bison growled, as Cammy stared up at him open mouthed. She pulled the belt of robe tighter and straightened her stance, not wanting to appear weak or afraid in his presence.

"I wouldn't say scared, just surprised. I didn't expect anyone at my door," Cammy retorted, as she crossed her arms. She then held out her hand defiantly, trying to prove that he did not scare her. "I believe that envelope is for me?"

"How about I save you the time and just tell you that your match is suspended until further notice," Bison answered, then he promptly began tearing the envelope in half with his gaze never leaving hers. He appeared to be searching in her eyes for something but Cammy couldn't tell what.

"How unusual that ever since I arrived here, that all my matches have been suspended until further notice. I'm beginning to think that your opponents are afraid of me," Cammy responded with wry grin.

"I think after what you did to Blanka, it would invoke fear into any future adversary. But I expected no less from you, as you were originally the one who conditioned him for Shadow Law in the first place," Bison told her, his gaze still boring down on her. There was still look of slight confusion on his facial features. Cammy allowed what he had just said to sink in, but shook her head side to side, not wanting to believe it. Bison was a well known liar, was he not?

"You can admit that your team is afraid of me, but you don't have to lie about everything else! What are you hoping to accomplish here?" Cammy snapped back angrily, her hands now on her hips. She stared up into his heated gaze, noticing that the scowl on his lips had become more pronounced.

"What game are you playing at now?" Bison sniped back, clutching her shoulders and giving her small shake. He then roughly shoved her back into her room, following her inside with the same prowl of a predator on the hunt.

Not one to take anyone's bullying lightly, Cammy surprised Bison with solid left hook to his chin with all the force she could muster.

"I believe I'm playing at the World Warrior Tournament that your dreadful establishment has organized!" Cammy huffed out, breathing hard from the effort she had placed into her punch. She made sure that Bison would not be forgetting her or her ire against him.

Bison warily touched his chin where Cammy had just struck him, waggling his lower jaw as he did so. His gaze narrowed on her panting face, an odd glitter in his eyes. He then began to laugh throatily, which was a scarier reaction than if he had gotten upset with her. Wisent, sensing that his master was in trouble, ran from his perch on the pillow and leapt onto Bison thick boots.

"Stop it, Wisent!" Cammy cried out, clasping her hands together in a plea. "Please don't hurt my cat!"

The ball of orange fur hissed and clawed at the boots, attempting to climb up Bison's towering figure. Placing an abrupt stop to this, Bison plucked the tabby by the scruff of his neck and dangled the fur ball in Cammy's troubled face. Meeting Cammy's gaze, Wisent was temporarily subdued.

"Wisent?" Bison inquired. "Did you actually name this beast Wisent?"

"Yes, that's his name." Cammy confirmed, worried expression on her face. "You're not going to hurt him, are you?"

"I have better things to do than to torture an ugly cat!" Bison snarled. "But are you aware that you named your cat 'Wild Ox' in German?"

"Is that what Wisent means? I just liked the name," Cammy replied, feeling confused with Bison's new line of questioning. But then it dawned on her...another word for a wild ox would be, Bison! Her brain felt dull with the realization.

"Why did I unknowingly name my cat after you?" Cammy asked, a sinking sensation starting at the bottom of her belly. What could this mean?

"You and I are 5 years overdue for a conversation," Bison rumbled out, then he swiftly closed her bedroom door.
