Eds Enter Fusion Fall
The Eds finally have a successful scam, just in time for the world as they know it to end. Fuse and his planet invade earth, and in the chaos that ensues the Eds must find a way to survive this new dangerous world of Fusion Fall.

Chapter seven; ReturnEd
The Eds were heading toward the Cul-De-Sac; having outran the creatures, they were now moving at a slower and more regular pace. It was quiet nearby, but the sounds of chaos were in the distance. As they neared the Cul-De-Sac the shock of what happened was beginning to subside and they could begin to think.
"My lord, what has come this world" Double D thought. "Just earlier today everything was fine, and now…. And now everything is in a state of apocalyptic chaos. Our world is under attack by some extraterrestrial force and they are threatening the safety of the residents of Peach Creek, and quite possibly the entire world."
Double D looked at Eddy, and then Edd, before returning to staring of into the distance. "We have to find a way to get through this. I'd hate that anything bad may befall my two friends, or the other kids, or anyone for that matter. We already had to run from as creatures, as Rolf was left to fight them. What if he…... no! No, Rolf will be fine. He is a strong fellow and he seemed to be handling those creatures well. And besides Rolf said to said to return to other kids of the Cul-De-Sac, so he must have already gotten everyone organized safely there. So we can go back the Cul-De-Sac and wait for Rolf to return. And if he takes too long we all go and search for him. Yes, yes this will work out. Just got to keep a level head and be smart about it. Now that I've got that part figured out, I've just got to come with a way to deal with those creatures.
Double D looks down at his bag with the samples in it. "Yes the samples. Once we get back to the Cul-De-Sac I can go to my house and use my equipment to examine these samples. I can use them to gain an understanding of these creatures and figure out ways of developing the means by which we can protect ourselves from them, and if need be fight back against them…. Yes, and these samples, and as I recall noticing, this slimy foreign material had other apparent properties. From what it seems the material, after being expelled from the creature and on to my friends seemed to have resulted in remedying the injuries done Ed and Eddy. This substance may have all sorts of properties that could, if properly harnessed, be used to benefit us. My, I need to hurry back to the Cul-De-Sac and get studying these samples."
Meanwhile Eddy was in his own thoughts. "Oh man, what just happened. This is like one of Ed's comic books. What's with this? I finally win out and the world gets invaded by aliens. This is even worse than back on free jawbreaker day. It's like, what did sock head call it? Faint is conspiring against us. Those things nearly surrounded us, and then Stretch showed up. Speaking of Stretch, shouldn't he have like caught up to us by now?
Eddy looked back behind the wagon and saw no signs of anyone behind them. "Oh well, Stretch is running late, and besides he can take care of himself. And what do I care anyway. I got the cash, the jawbreakers, I got Ed and Double D with me, and were headed to the safety of the Cul-De-Sac. Why should I care? …. Well, Stretch did kinda save us, and those guys would be sad if anything happened to him, and I guess that I…. Ok, so it does matter. But, again, Rolf can handle himself, and I know he'll meet us back at the Cul-De-Sac later, or my middle names not skipper. Not that I don't wish it weren't. Ok, bad example. But anyway he'll be fine."
Eddy turns to look at Double D staring off into space and Ed breathing heavily. "Nows what I gotta focus on is how we're gonna get through this. How are we going to survive against these things? There's no telling how many are out there and how many are bigger and tougher than the ones we saw. A what I got to worry, Sock heads a genius and a workaholic, and lumpy has courage and unhuman strength. And me, the most charismatic leader and most brilliant schemer this side of the Mississippi. We'll figure a way through this. Once we get back to the Cul-De-Sac we can stash this loot in a safe place, and I can get to coming with a scheme on what to do next. In fact I'm starting to get some ideas."
And Likewise, even Ed, despite his reputation, was in thought as well. "This is so cool. Alien invaders in Peach creek. A grand war between the goo spewing extraterrestrials, come to earth to conquer, and the brave insurgents of humanity. This is just like Robot Rebel Ranch 2, only with fiery goop beasts, or like Invasion of the Plakous Warlords, with a giant glob planet instead of a grand mother ship. Oh boy, it's like a dream come true. I always knew that something like this was possible, and now it's here. Now I can live to my full potential. …And that fight was so cool….. But it did hurt to get blasted… but that goop took care of that. But …. Wait those aliens are still dangerous… and there here…. And they threaten the safety of Eddy, and Double D, and Sarah…..
Ed, at this realization at breathe heavily. "Oh, no. Oh, no. This is not good. It's so cool, but it is not good. These monsters are threatening my friends, and my baby sister….. Not on my watch! I will not let them. I will protect them to last drop of gravy. By the will of Baron O-Beefdip, I shall vanquish these minions of Hades. I can do it, I know how to do it. Double D may be school smart, and Eddy is Scam smart, but I have my own smarts. I'm not too smart with stuff that is, but I dream and think of what could be. And now those dreams are alive. But I have been living in my dreams in my head for… I forget how long. But I am ready for this and I will take everything the comics and movies and the master have told me and I will keep everyone safe."
"Down with the minions of Hades!" Ed shouted, shaking Edd and Eddy out of their thought
"What the…" Eddy said, "Ed, keep it down"
"Yes Ed, we don't want to attract any more of those creatures while we're on our way to the Cul-De-Sac"
"Rodger Wilko" Ed responded
After some more traveling, the Eds' wagon approached near the Cul-De-Sac. They turned the wagon and went through the entrance.
"Finally we're here" Eddy said
"Yes now we can meet up with the others and I can get to researching these specimens" Double D said
"And we can store this loot in a safe place" Eddy added
"And we can get prepared to face the alien menace." Ed stated
"Well gentleman, we're back" Double D said, before seeing what was before them.
As they entered, they noticed that there were some damaged stands in the middle of the Cul-De-Sac, parts of the ground were covered in large piles of Green goo, the area was eerily quiet, and there didn't seem to be anyone there.
"What happened?" Eddy said in shock
"It appears that some of the creatures had attacked the Cul-De-Sac" Double said with fear in his voice
"No! Guys we gotta find Sarah!" Ed said
"Calm down Ed, those guys gotta be around here somewhere", Eddy said as got down from the wagon and started walking forward. "Come on guys", he said as he motioned them for them to follow him.
"Eddy that might not be such a good idea" Double D said
"Come on, what gonna…." Eddy said before being hit by a spurt of water and sent flying back.
Ed reacting, grabbed a piece of pavement, broken from a small crater left by a fireball, and lobbed it in the direction of the blast's origin.
After which the sound was heard, " Aaahh, take cover Plank!"
Noticing this Double D shouted, "Stop, friendly fire"
Hearing him, Ed stopped.
"It's just Johnny guys" Double day said, "now stop before we hurt him"
Having stopped his fried Double then turns to call out to Johnny. "Come on Johnny, it's just us, Ed, Eddy, and I. Now come on out".
Responding to this, Johnny and Plank came out and walked out to where the Eds were at.
"Hey watch where your shooting at melon head" Eddy shouted as he rubbed the side of his head.
"Sorry Eddy" Johnny Said apologetically, "we thought you might be more of those things".
"It is alright Johnny, now please tell us what happened here, and where everyone else is." Double D said.
"Well…" Johnny responded, "Rolf had gathered up everyone in middle of the Cul-De-Sac to hand out emergency supplies. And then those things attacked us. But Rolf fought back and defeated them. After that he sent us to do different things while he went out to look for you."
"yes, and he did find us" Double D said, turning sadder in tone and looking downward as he said, "but when he did we were under attack by a group of those creatures he stayed back to fight them and has yet to ketch up to us…" "But I'm sure he will make it back" Double D said although unsure of the last part.
"Yah, he had no trouble beating a bunch of them earlier" Johnny replied, hoping Rolf was ok.
"So where are the rest of you" Eddy interjected
"Well…" Johnny started to say before being grabbed
"Where is my baby sister" Ed said as he shook Johnny.
"Ed let off him" Eddy commanded him.
Ed let go of him and after Johnny regained his orientation he went back to explanation. "Rolf sent Sarah and Jimmy to go to Lemonbrook to get help from the Urban Rangers there. The rest of us were given jobs to set up defenses. But Plank got the idea of going to find out where the water line got busted. Then Plank sensed there was trouble, so we hooked up a hose to the water line and went out. And we found some chainsaw monsters attacking Sarah and Jimmy. So we came in and beat them. And they went off to keep going to Lemonbrook, and me and plank went back to the Cul-De-Sac. But when we got there Nazz and Kevin were gone."
"Oh my" Double D exclaimed.
"You got any idea where Nazz and shovel chin went?" Eddy asked in an assertive manner.
"I found this note left by Nazz saying that they went into the city to find a safer shelter" Johnny said as he took out the note and handed it to the Eds.
"What! Shovel chin is so stupid" Eddy shouted
"Eddy, while I don't appreciate you using such insults toward others, I would have to agree that his actions are unwise" Edd replied.
"Yah, cities have been the main targets of many alien invasions" Ed stated
"So what do we do now" Johnny asked.
"We stay here" Eddy responded
"But what about Kev and Nazz?" Johnny asked.
"And what about Sarah?" Ed added.
Eddy turned to face them and responded, "Look. We have no idea where Kev and Nazz went and if we go out we'll be putting our necks on the line of any of those things ketch us, and we'd be no closer to finding them. And Sarah's going off to get help from those no necks at Lemonbrook, and when she does she'll come back. Now we got half the Cul-De-Sac out in different places. Now they know to go back here if there's trouble, and if we go lookin for them then this place will be empty. So what were gonna do is we're gonna stay here and wait for them to come back!"
"I'd have to concur with Eddy, staying here and defending the Cul-De-Sac seems to be best option we have at this point" Double D nervously stated.
"Good, Sockhead. Now let's get the loot in the garage!" Eddy said as he turned to walk toward Double D's house.
