Kyler's wrath, the birth of a new alpha.

Kyler's pov.

'Kyler you need to calm down'

"Why, you heard what they said, you heard what she said. She sounded like HIM they don't deserve any sympathy" I glared at each wolf one by one smirking slightly as I saw them struggle to get up only to be slammed back down twice as hard.

'if you don't stop you may very well kill them, not only that but you haven't gotten far in you're training of you're telekinetic power, using it this much in you're current state will only hurt you in the long run. Besides I don't think Seth would want you to hurt them' I sighed loudly before looking at Seth. He looked shocked and confused, I could feel his sadness, but Raziel was right, Seth didn't want these people to hurt, That wasn't the kind of person Seth is.

"Fine, come on Seth get you're stuff, do you need help getting it?" Seth seemed to snap back together at that question he blinked twice before opening and closing his mouth a couple times.

"H-how? What?...huh?"

I laughed slightly allowing Seth's soothing presence to calm myself down, not once letting go on my telekinetic hold on the wolves.

"I will answer all of you're questions Seth, I promise you, but I want to get going it is tiring holding them down like this" Seth nodded dumbly before wincing, seeming to remember that his former pack mates were still eating dirt, oddly enough a small smile appeared on his face which made me smile as well. He may not want them hurt badly but Seth clearly thought that what was being done was a small justice,

"Yeah, ill get my stuff, its just cloths mostly, are you sure its ok to stay with you? I mean.."

"its fine Seth trust me, we wont be staying there long anyway. Ill explain later but please? Get you're cloths I will stay here and maintain my hold on these people" I spit out in disgust towards the end, I would never forgive this tribe so long as I live. I couldn't believe the things they said, the lengths they were willing to go, it disgusted me it reminded me so much of THAT man I couldn't stand it.

"you have no right here leech" my attention snapped to the voice and my eye glew brighter in my rage.

"Sue Clearwater, you have guts talking to me in that way, after what you see before you. I could easily make you eat dirt too if you'd like? Although Seth wouldn't want me to do that, I think he would forgive me if I gave into temptation if you continued to open you're mouth" she seemed to stumble back into herself not thinking id talk to her in such a way, before a hard glare fit her face.

"Jacob why aren't you attacking? Look what he's doing to the pack! You have to get rid of him" Sue said harshly to Jacob. For his part he only raised an eyebrow at her, much to my amusement.

"Who do you think texted him to let him know how this conversation might go? You all kind of brought this on yourself" I laughed at the gop smacked and slightly horrified look on sues face. Jacob had given me his number when he followed me and Seth to the dinner, he pulled me aside after he had Seth go get a table for the two of us, Seth while hesitant did as asked allowing Jacob to tell me how Leah and Jared had reacted and what he thought the outcome would be. I asked him why he'd help me and what his thoughts were, his answer had slightly surprised me but in a good way.

Flashback

"Look im not going to lie and say that im fond of vampires there horrible and kill innocent people, I can't even stand humans who do that, but you seem different…if what you said is true then you are something new and something that can make Seth as happy as he deserves to be, hes a great kid, annoyingly hyper..but a great kid. I know the reactions this is going to cause and I know that Seth is going to need me in his corner, but in case im not enough hes going to need you to. Im giving you my number so that if things go south you can be there to help him."

end of flashback

"You..you TOLD him to come here? Jacob.." Billy black looked horrified as if he couldn't believe his own son could do such a thing.

"Dad, what you all are doing is WRONG! You want to take Seth's imprint away from him for something he cant control, he's not like the other vampires! Can you see that? He could kill all of you at this point he has all of you eating dirt, it wouldn't take much more to snap you're necks if he wanted."

I smirked at their expressions, i was enjoying the fact that Seth had a good friend in Jacob, and while he was right I could snap their necks of I wanted, it would have had to of been earlier, right now my control is getting harder to hold.

'Seth better hurry, I don't think I can hold them much longer'

'It was and is dangerous for you to hold this as long as you have, you are using telekinesis on instinct at this point, and using my memories to guide you is not the same as knowing and building endurance to it yourself'

'I had no choice, it was either this or be attacked buy a group of stupid wolves, a situation im sure neither of us would want'

'perhaps, however we were made aware that they could not harm an imprint'

'so long as Seth remained in the pack they couldn't, when he was released we were fair game' it disgusted me to know that this was true, because even if Seth wasn't part of the pact it would still hurt him if anything happened to us.

Seth's quick footsteps caught my attention which was great because I really could barely hold the wolves down, we really had to leave.

"Im ready, sorry it took so long" Seth's worried face stared directly at me seeming to avoid his mother's eyes at all cost.

"Its ok, and im not trying to be cruel but goodbyes have to wait we have to go like now" Seth took me in with his eyes and seemed to see just how tired I was, he nodded hurriedly and came to my side. I eyed his large duffle bag wondering if what was in there was enough but pushed that thought to the back of my head, anything Seth needed I would buy him we really couldn't stay any longer.

"Hold on to me an keep a tight grip on me and you're bag" He nodded and embraced me holding me securely while putting his nag over his shoulder.

"Thank you Jacob we will be in touch" seeing his nod I took that as my queue to speed away with everything I had left, not wanting the wolves to have any chance to get us before we reached uncle Charlie's. To my relief we reached the front of the house no problem, unfortunately all that telekinesis plus running as fast as I did as well as holding Seth was all my body could take and without a word blackness consumed me, the last thing I heard and felt were Seth's strong arms around me preventing my fall and his panicked shout of my name.

Jacob's POV, immediately after Kyler left.

I barely had time to blink before Sam's enraged face was in front of mine.

"What the fuck was that Jake?!"

"Exactly what you all deserved for what you just put Seth through!" I snarled Sam's eyes flashed with rage but I wasn't backing down, my wolf wouldn't let me. This alpha put his personal feelings affect a member of his pacts happiness. Jake would not follow an alpha like that.

"I am Alpha I make the calls Jake! You follow what I say without question!"

"WERE NOT YOURE FUCKING SLAVES SAM!" I roared in his face, the rage I felt seemed to escalate but there was a moment…a quick moment where I felt a snap. Like a band breaking,the more I focused the more I realized to my horror that I had broken my bond to my pack, I had done the one thing I swore I didn't want. I had become an alpha, but an alpha with no pack…fuck.

Sam seemed to realize what had happened as well because he stepped back startled. I growled at him a mix of rage and fear.

"Now, I am my own person, my own wolf and if you try to fuck with me Sam I will destroy you" I looked at Sue and Leah, then to the others.

"Ill destroy all of you if you go after Seth or Kyler, you all stay away from them" with that and one last look to my dad I shifted and headed towards Charlie's, thinking that's where Kyler had run to. I was a lone Alpha and Seth was a lone wolf, it seemed only right to have him in my pack, if he felt the emptiness that im feeling right now then I couldn't think of any reason why he wouldn't.

I never wanted this, I never thought things could turn out this way, it seems crazy just how one person can throw the balance of our everyday lives off focus. As I ran through the woods and listened to the night's sounds I couldn't bring myself to blame Kyler, he could make Seth the happiest man in the world and Jake could never hate someone who could do that for the boy…..I knew though that this was only the beginning things would get way worse before they got better.
