Sorry to make this short but sweet! I hate to admit this but I have this whole story typed up but I hate to edit I'm also vary bad at it so I kind of you could say put it on the back burner but I saw how many of you wonderful people wanted more and forced myself to edit more

Chapter 6

A savior on a feather

The sun beat down upon there backs as they moved along the edge of the cliff looking for the path to freedom. Kagome with Shippo where tossed to the dead earth from a large gust of wind as it blew up and over the mountain side in the process sending Kagome to her ample prosier, looking past her shoes she saw Kagura on her large feather come up over the peek that Kagome moments before had been look down over she had a wicked smile on her face though witch made Kagome feel a tad scared of that smile

"Kagura?" she questioned

As the women steped from her oversized feather tetering on the edge before her with one step forward there was a large POOF! Sound the feather got smaller till Kagura grabbed it from the air and placed it back in her silky pulled back hair she kept the smile placed on her lips and eyed the two

"And just where do you think you are going?... I am quite sure it is not to sight see"

Kagome huffed angrily and her sarcasm

"As far from the anger spider demon's web as possible"

She spoke bitterly as she hugged Shippo to her protectively

Kagura let out a laugh and her smile got ever more bitter if that where possible Kagome was impressed that it was even possible to do such a thing with ones lips

"Then I will help you"

Kagome did a double take as if her mind had played a tick on her she looked down when she felt a tug on her top she looked into the eyes of a very frightened fox demon

She smiled down at him hugging him to her closer before she looked up at Kagura

"Then what are you waiting for poof out your feather thing and lets get out of here"

'what do I possibly have to loss?' she asked herself sadly she needing to get Shippo out of here

Kagura gave a small but sharp nod as she flicked the feather out as it grew fast to full size Kagome grabbed her and Shippos bag and ran for it. Kagura jumped in gracefully after them and they were soon soring though the clouds leaving behind the sounds of angry hissing and yelling that seemed to resonate from deep in the castles like fortresses they glided along for a while the puffs of clouds past them by as they moved further down in the direction of a large old growth forest Kagome waited quietly looking between Kagura and Shippo, Kagura was at the front of the large white feather they were cradled in with a determined look on her face Shippo was snug to Kagome to scared to look around him she smiled softly and patted the young fox demons head then she heard a pained breath leave Kagura's lips the feather started to go out of control the moment she clutched at her chest and screamed as they began plummet down words hitting large tree limes that where a small blessing in desguise that slowed there fall to a some what safer pace Kagome clutched Shippo to her as tightly as she could and curled into a tight ball around him as her body took the brut of the pain that surged though her as tree limbs wiped her in the face until finally they hit solid ground once the feeling of the crash landding had stopped Kagome slowly unfurled her body that was guarding the young kit looking down at his scared face and went to wipe the tears from his eyes with a soft smile till the pain hit her she winced as the horrid feeling racked her body pushing the pain away best she could her vision cleared till she could see Shippo

"Mamma?"

Kagome smiled down at him

"Its ok sweetie there is nothing to worry about" she spoke softly

Letting her motherly instinct take over to calm the young kit it worked some to clear the tears from his eyes but the worry still laced over his brow once she saw that he was ok she sat him on his small fox feet to crawl to a tree that she could use to stand agenst at first she felt dizzy and her body hurt she looked around, Shippo was close to her trying to help in any way he could she looked down at him but then heard a scream that was close by she clutched the tree and moved from trunk to trunk till she came to the women that had saved her for god only knows why she rushed to her and sank to her knees moving the women's head into her lap she gently smooth back her hair to try and clear the pain from the women's eyes she herd movement in the brush not far from her but ignored it a bad move on her part and the great lord of the west broke free of the thick over growth of the forest floor
