A/N: Sorry about this chapter taking so long to come out between Senior year and technical issues with my laptop it has not been easy especially since I have been rewriting enitre chapters or even entire oneshots that I had wanted to post. But onto other news here is the new chapter of The Warrior.
Bloom tried splitting up so she could head to Lake Rockalucha. I knew it would be problematic if we were speorated during this war. I told her that we would go to the city after, if she really thought that we should head to the lake.
When we had arrived at the lake Bloom got off the Windrider in almost a trance like state. She waded into the water and disappeared beneith the cool still waters of the lake. I ran into the lake worried about Bloom but it was like the red head had just disappeared. I dove under the water but still I could not see the fire fairy. I looked as far as I could until my lungs screamed for air. I returned to the shore resolved to wait for the teen to return.
BLOOM'S P.O.V.
Meeting Daphne was strange to say the least. She told me to look into myself to find the source of the Dragon Fire. I did as she asked and soon transformed. "Now you must return the Warrior is starting to freak out. She already dove into the lake once." I smiled before returning to the surface of the lake. I know Melinda cared by diving into the freezing cold lake just to save me. Maybe it is me that the legend talks about when it comes to the red headed love of the warrior. Maybe the legend is about us. Though who was our third and fourth I don't know.
After bursting from the water, flying high into the sky before coming down at high speeds. I smiled at Melinda when I landed softly next to the Windrider changing back from my winx form and climbed on eager to get back to Alfea. "It went well I'm guessing." Melinda stated as she started back for the only remaining school not destroyed or under the Trix's control.
Once we got back to the school the battle was already raging. A number of fairies, heroes, and witches on each monster, though the schools even together was out numbered, the rivial schools all worked together with one common enemy. The Trix. The Army of Decay no matter how much the three together destroyed it still was not enough.
"The only way this is ending is to defeat the Trix in a final stand Bloom. You have to face Icy I'll get the rest of the Winx to take out the rest of the Trix. This ends now before the last of Kaylass's and the Honorable Three's work falls." Melinda said as we raced through what used to be the winged gates of Alfea. I nodded before transforming.
MELINDA'S P.O.V.
I raced toward the Winx where they were fighting with the Specialists and a few CT witches. "Winx I got this you go deal with the Trix. It's time to end this war." I stated drawing my sword and taking their place in the fight. Slashing through monster after monster watching them get run through with a sword then blasted appart by dark magic only to have them reform minutes later was like something straight out of a nightmare.
Students falling to these things weither dead or alive but injured was something no teacher ever wanted to see and yet this was the reality in front of me and the staff of the three schools. We could only pray that the Trix falling would end this violence and soon.
And thank the Dragon above because not an hour later the end to this acursed war came as Bloom came back to the quad carrying an incompasitated Icy in her magic. I was the first to cheer at the sight. While I had seen many wars in my long multiple lives I was always thankful when they were over and I could be a civilian for a while instead of a soldier.
I smiled as Bloom rushed over to me after handing Icy over to the athorities. "We did it Melinda!" She exclaimed as she throws her arms around me. "You did it, Bloom. You and the Winx took on the Trix and won, the rest of us made sure to distract the Decay monsters until you did." I said with a smile. "We won, everyone and the people who died in battle did not do so in vain." Bloom said looking at me with a sad smile.
We released the howl to warn the honored dead in Stoval Core that more warriors were on their way. The rest of the professors after everything was done took stock of those we lost both in numbers and names. Far fewer were dead than we had thought many of those we thought had fallen dead in battle had mearly been knocked out. Which though left us relieved we didn't have to tell more faimlies about losing a loved one, far too many were still going to suffer from the loss of a loved one.

*TIME SKIP ONE MONTH INTO SUMMER BREAK*
I was spending time on Earth staying with Bloom and her family as to continue her training. I sighed as I knew I would have to tell her about my not returning to Alfea. I wouldn't be far but I would no longer be her teacher at school.
"Bloom come with me." I said once she walked in during her day off of training to spend time with her friends from Earth I lead her up to my room which Vanessa had said was mine for as long as I was staying to train Bloom.
She wasn't to happy about the fact her daughter was being trained to kill if she had too but after explaining the customs of Sparks to her, she had agreed though she still was not very pleased.
"Bloom as you know I teach at the three schools. They trade which one I work at for each year. I will not be at Alfea next year but instead Cloud Tower, your training with me will not be affected except the fact that you will have to come to CT for each training session." I told her thinking it better to just say it like ripping off a bandaid. Bloom slowly nodded. "Does this mean that we could- we could try us?" Bloom asked.
She had admitted her feelings for me after the second week of summer and I told her that as long as I work at Alfea and she was a student there that it couldn't happen as both of us would be in deep, deep trouble if we were discovered.
"I don't see why not, I'm a teacher at Cloud Tower not Alfea, and we're around the same age. The school board should have no real issues and even if it was your last year when I make the cycle back to Alfea we would have had enough time to show I wouldn't favor you because of our relationship and that neither of us would explaiot my power as an Alfea teacher." I said before she threw her arms around me before pulling back with a small blush coloring her cheeks. I laughed before pulling her into a hug. Hoping beyound hope that she was the one to break the curse of lonelyness upon my eternal soul in a mortal body, to be the one one fortold in prophacy though if she was who were the other two?
