Hi my readers. This chapter is a bit more on the pranking side. I don't want to spoil too much cause I added a little odd moment in there. But yeah, enjoy reading. I DO NOT own the Vampire Knight characters. Only my two OCs. Which one of them aren't in this chapter but whatever. Please review. ^.^

-In the Night Class male dorm

A scheme smirking face had took over my usual expression. Laughing evilly I enter Kaname's dorm. It looks boring to my disappointment. There's hardly anything in here. I knew Kaname had the biggest dorm in the Night Class, but I never expected such space to be so... empty? I spotted the sofa Takuma talked about once. He told me Kaname usually fell asleep there instead of his bed. You know you can get so much information from that cheerful vampire. ^.^

Skipping over I inspect the sofa. I must say there aren't many signs of this thing being used. Either that or the maid did on heck of a good job keeping things here spotless. Whatever. I take out a lock of hair from Yuki from my coat pocket. I also took a little blood from where she accidentally cut herself last week. She recklessly fell from a tree, again. Letting a few drops fall onto the hair. I couldn't help but let the overwhelming smirk take over my lips. Concentrating energy a spell is casted onto Yuki's hair with her blood. It's a small one that will just give Kaname a little shock. Feeling overjoyed I tucked the hair under a small pillow on the sofa.

'Let's see how you'll react, Kaname. This is payback from your insolence!' Casting another spell I erase my scent from the room and left back to patrol.

...

"Hey Zero, what's up?" I cheerfully asked. He gives me a look that said 'you're skipping so something's not right'. I feel the wonderful feeling as if I just kicked Kaname in the shins. Giggling became laughter. Zero raised his brow. "Are you okay?" Clenching my chest from the laughing I nod, "Yes, I'm okay. I just left Kaname's dorm." I tell him. As usual he glares in disgust. Which makes me laugh harder. Leading him to become more confused.

"What's so funny?!" Zero exclaimed. I quickly leaned against a tree to prevent myself from falling. I slow my laughter to a stop, "The reason I just left Kaname's dorm is because I'm pulling a prank on him with Yuki's hair." Zero gives a wary stare. I wave my hands.

"Don't worry it's a small lock of her hair with little drops of her blood and a small spell. It'll give him a 'little' shock. That's all nothing too dangerous." I brush off.

He sighs, combing a hand though his silver straight hair. I see a small smirk he was trying to hide. "Don't deny it. I know you're interested in how it will turn out too." I declare. He snorts walking faster. Smiling I catch up with him. Then I notice that it's almost dawn. Looking back I realize we've already patrolled 2 rounds around the academy. 'Well time sure goes fast.'

"I'll see you later Zero. I've gotta see how my prank will turn out." I devilishly say. Turning to the dorm I pause, "And don't worry. I'll tell you what happens later." Running off I take a route so the vampires won't see me. Climbing a tree I take a breath before jumping onto the outer sill of the left side of the room. Here I can see the sofa from an armrest view. (if you bought the official fanbook you'd get what I meant) I ducked down immediately when the door suddenly opened.

Thud.

Back flat against the wall I carefully looked through the window. Kaname had just came. Smiling again I see him laying down on the sofa. Only to jerk up the second he laid down and stare bewilderedly at the sofa. As silently as I could I slap a hand over my mouth to stop myself from giving away my position. All of sudden the glass of the windows, unfortunately including the one I was hiding near, shattered with a loud shrill sound. Satisfied with the damage I left behind I intended to leave. Squatting lower to launch off a firm hand held me back. I was unable to look back because the hand pulled me backward at lightning speed. I grunted being pushed to the wall shortly afterward. Meeting glowing red eyes with my dark brown eyes I couldn't help but simply stare.

"Lila, my patience with you is at a low point." Kaname growled. I smirk.

"And what will you do? Your hands will be bound if you kill me." I taunt, holding back a groan of pain as he tightened his hold on my wrist.

"What if I were to drink your blood?" He threatened. At this point I can't tell whether he's just cruelly joking or if he really meant it. I sent a glare back at him.

"Why would you? It wouldn't serve you any purpose but to break Yuki's heart. You don't think my patience with you has any effect on this?" I retort. Kaname continued to stare at me and I noticed that his stare became less angry and more calm. Releasing my hands I stood still while Kaname walked to the sofa, took out the lock of Yuki's hair then looked back to me.

"Why was it Yuki's hair you chose?" He asked, nonchalant. "I needed someone you deeply cared about. My hair would probably be like the breeze in the field for you. For Yuki though she's different. She's much closer and more precious to you. I had also wanted to verify...if what you feel for Yuki is true." I answered walking toward him and taking the lock back. "This proves more than enough that you could be Yuki's brother." I inform. He glares at me like a prey. I ignore it.

"Why are you so pent up?" He turns to face a different direction.

"So I am right. Though I think you're more of an adoptive brother than a blood related one." I idly continue. He sighs,

"Lila, state your business and go." Kaname stressfully urged.

"Fine, I will ask you again, let me warn you though if you keep avoiding my question it will only lead to more pranks on your part." Lying back on the sofa he lifts the back of his hand to his eyes.

"Go on."

I nod.

"Is Rido Kuran related to you in any way?" I ask more seriously.

He didn't move his posture, kept laying there with the back of his hand still over his eyes, the other arm down on the other side of the sofa. "Yes, he's the one who had raised me from the dead, and he is Haruka and Juuri's older brother." My eyes widened.

"Why tell me this much?" Lower his hand he turned his head toward me. "Why shouldn't I?" I parted my lips but they stay in place. I couldn't think of what to say back.

"Cat got your tongue?" He mocked.

I scowl. "Shut up. I just don't understand what made you trust me all of a sudden. What use would I be other than protecting Yuki if you told me this? Don't you suspect me?" He sighed again. He's been doing that a lot.

"I can only presume you have a good reason for asking me so since you've gone so far into pranking me. And you know, if I was Yuki's brother then you're also my little sister." I blink once. Blink twice. Blink three times. "Huuuuhhhh?!" 'I can't believe I never thought of that! This is so crazy. Absurd! Was that another reason to why he said he felt like he had to protect me?! I can't believe it!' I mentally yell at myself, slouching, clawing at my scalp.

"What's wrong? You look pale." came Kaname's deep voice, breaking me out of my physical/mental punishment for not seeing this coming. I regain my composure, "N-no, nothing's wrong. It's that this sounds so..so..weird."

He smirks. I glare at him. "What is it now?" I snap. He shakes his head,

"You just look like a child, the way you're acting." He smoothly answered. He's really ticking me off. Half stomping and half marching I go to the window he pulled me from. "Well, I got the info I wanted. I'll be going now." Raising my foot onto the sill I lift myself up then jump on the tree, dropping myself down, running to the academy. Class will start soon.

So what did you guys think? I kinda thought of this from the top of my head. I'll make the next chapter a bit longer and more into the VK line. Till next time.
